Character Info
Profile
A young mutant who lived a life on the streets for much of her existence. A runaway trying to stay ahead of her own past and responsibility only to find it straight ahead most of the time. Now looking for a place to belong and hoping to somehow master the fantastic and frightening abilities she has.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 2003:Born in New York City, New York to Nick and Elizabeth Nixon.
* 2013: Her father, a
police officer is killed in a drive-by shooting.
* 2016: Her father dead and mother overwhelmed
caring for her and her three brothers Kiden spirals into the life of a delinquent teenager feeling
ignored in this world, associating with criminals, doing drugs, stealing, and anything else she
thought was fun.
* 2017: Kiden's mutant powers awakened when she encountered a gangster beating
up one of her friends. Time seemed to stop and when she simply touched his arm it broke and time
started again. In a plot to get revenge the same gangster tried to shoot Kiden whose time-stopping
abilities allowed her to dodge the bullet only for it to strike one of her teachers behind her. To
avoid trouble for herself and her family Kiden ran away leaving school and her family behind.

2018-2020: Saving a young member of Xaviers school Kiden develops a bond with the other mutant and
offers to let them live with her and some other mutant runaways. Though soon after a member of the X-
men takes them home offering Kiden a place in their family should she ever desire it. Still feeling
lost and lacking trust she continues to live on the street.
* 2021: A police crackdown and
attempt to round up her and her group of mutant runaways has left Kiden truly alone, remembering
back to those words years ago she decides to travel to Xaviers. Curious if it really could be a
home.

Personality
Protective:
She's never been able to watch her friends get bullied and abused, always standing up for those
she cares about. Though this has gotten her in trouble plenty in her life and even lead to the
awakening of her mutant powers Kiden has shown no signs of changing or even a desire to. Fiercly
loyal to those she cares about even if it's difficult for her to form those bonds in the first place
these days.
Raver:
Kiden enjoys a wild lifestyle of parties, recreational drugs, and dancing the nights away.
Living such a carefree and joy focused life has left her always seeking the next thrill and more
often than not gets her into plenty of trouble. This life-style and the personality it fostered in
her was a coping mechanism for all she lost in life. A way to distance herself from her own thoughts
and the ghosts (sometimes literal) of the past that haunted her. Wether or not she can leave behind
her juvinile ways and move towards something else has yet to be seen.

Powers
Buddy System:
Kiden can bring someone into Stasis with her, but she has to be touching them at the time and
requires a great deal of concentration. She can't hold someone in No-Time with her longer than a few
minutes to her. She can also have objects adjusted to her altered time-stream such as moving faster
with use of a personal vehicle like a bike or a motor-cycle, The effects are based solely on the
object or person brought with her.
Chronokinesis:
At will or in moments of extreme stress Kiden is able to move herself into a faster time-stream
where to her the world moves at a snail's pace but to the rest of the world she moves at incredible
speeds. This operates similar to super speed except that according to Kiden she has all the time in
the world. Those last four seconds on a bomb that's about to explode she could pick up and walked it
over the bay, toss it into the water like any other speedster or she could take what seems like a
eternity to her, considering how to disarm it and then carefully do just that and even have time to
enact a 'plan b' should she make a mistake. If you had to scale the speed at which she appears to
move in a scale of one to seven with one being a normal person and seven being the fastest speedster
she's easily a seven with benefits.
No Time:
While in Temporal Stasis Kiden is pretty much in her own world and her body seems to go into a
type of stasis as well. She can walk hundreds of miles and not be tired, hungry, thirsty, or
anything like that. Time doesn't even pass according to the cells in her body making her not age a
moment even if she were to spend what seems like a year to her in Stasis.
Temporal Force:
Touching another person while in Temporal stasis from her Chronokinesis immediately yanks Kiden
out of said Stasis, however the force at which she touches someone is amplified by her faster time-
stream. A mere touch is like a punch by someone much larger then here and if Kiden were to actually
try to hurt someone with a hit she could hit with a bone-shattering or even explosive force if she
were to try to smack someone or something with a tool or weapon like a hammer. The only difference
between Kiden hitting a person or an object is that kicking a car wouldn't take her out of stasis
like hitting a person would. But that Car would likely swerve out of control as the tire she hit
explodes on impact or the engine caves in from her jumping on the hood.
Skills
Good Time Management:
Its easy to say that Kiden can get things done /fast/. Hour of chores? Done in a second! Because
of this Kiden can take the time needed to learn and do things in a matter of moments.
Street Smarts:
Kiden knows the American Northeast and in NYC she knows the players on the street, how to avoid
them, and even how to deal with them. She could get drugs, sell drugs, or even acquire more unsavory
services. All learned during her time living hand to mouth on the streets in her early teens. If
needed she could survive without money or shelter within most major cities in the United States.

Weaknesses
Scarred:
Not all scars are evident when you look on someone, in Kiden's case they're deep and etched into
her memory. She's seen more death at her age than most will in their lives. Having lost loved ones,
friends, and even accidentally caused pain and torment to those that cared for her indirectly
because of her actions. Because of this Kiden's defensive and assumes the worst of most people
because that helps her survive. Trust doesn't come easy and loyalty even harder given that she spent
most of her teenage years disconnected from society and on the streets.
