Location:	Ted Kord's apartment atop Kord Co's Manhattan offices. The time is midday.
Synopsis:	Ted gets breakfast, Swath gets a dress and Kyani gets a job offer!

Ted Kord has posed:
Ted Kord has already had a busy morning. Last night, he had given Swath simple instructions: use Google, see what people like pretty young Japanese women to wear and order some of that with his credit card number. Simple right? At 7:00 a number of packages were delivered (since he had something like double secret prime membership). Curiosity piqued he nonetheless placed them by Swath's door and left her to explore them. By eight he was plugging away at emails and pondering a deal to buy a company with a turbine design he wanted. They didn't seem to understand the concept of a benevolent take over. For once he is out of his Beetle rig and wearing sweats and a hoodie and clicking away at the keyboard embedded in his desk. "Swath, I'm getting. little hungry... how about some juice and toast? And coffee! Uhmmmm Dozo? Domo? Thank you."

Swath has posed:
"Umu, as you wish," responds Swath as she begins to head towards the kitchen and then pauses. "Oh... If you would like, rather than simply toast... I have some nikuman, ah... steamed meat buns... that will be ready any moment." Indeed, by this point there is a lush scent that is wafting from the kitchen. It is faint but fragrant, the scent of dough that has a half-baked, half steamed preparation, sweet like baking bread but more subdued.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    It's a slow day and today he was called to deliver a document of sorts to Kord Co. This was odd but he it didn't matter, delivery is a delivery. With that he is out like a shot, running through the city, it was a good distance away and as he nears the building, he cuts through the ally and skids to a stop. He walks around the front and walks inside, he is sent up and he meets with the secretary, "This is Mac's Delivery services with a parcel for Mr. Kord."

Ted Kord has posed:
Ted Kordgets a buzz from Carol. "Yeah? Oh! Ishigwara! Yes, send the messenger right in. I've been waiting for that!" He shuts the connection. "Hey, Swath-chan, there's a messenger coming up... you're decent, aren't you? You bought some clothes as I asked? I mean I lugged some boxes over to your room. I assume they are either clothes or power armor judging from the weight.

"Come out here please, and let me see what you did to your desktop so to speak." He shuts the huge monitor down. Security first!

Maybe breakfast first. A breakfast made of SCIENCE and a little love. Well a little like at least.

Swath has posed:
    "I bought clothes yes," says Swath as she steps back out and spreads the yellow, empire waisted, sundress she is wearing. "This is comfortable and cute don't you think? It was hard to search on the parameters you gave me. I came up with a lot of sailor fuku which... I don't think girls wear here in the U.S.? It's hard to know for certain... my files are pretty lengthy, and I have the whole internet to explore... but some of the things that came up, well... I ordered a few becase they seemed pretty. But I wonder if they were really any different from not wearing anything... "

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    He is let in, and Kyani walks into the office and looks to Kord and then to Swath. "Hello, have a parcel for you to sign for." he says as he walks over towards Kords desk. Kyani takes in the office all in slow motion, it doesn't look like he's looking around, but he's seen all of the office. He hands the parcel to Kord and takes out the iPad and passes it to him with his stylus. "Please sign on the line please."

Ted Kord has posed:
Ted Kord regards his cook for a moment and says, "You have done well. There's a messenger coming in so act casual human and let's see what he makes of you." He hits a control to open the door. "You are fast, I will say that. I must be your first delivery." He takes in another snootful of breakfast and says to Swath. "And you wanted a job in computers!"

He signs the pad and takes the parcel, regarding the Japanese postmarks and writing curiously." Then he's fiddling around in his pocket for a tip. He comes up empty. "This is embarrassing. Hang on, I have some money in my bedroom. If you want s drink or a coffee please ask my cook S... usie." He gets up and leaves giving 'Susie' a look that says, 'Behave'.

Swath has posed:
    "Well," says Swath as she grins, "I daresay I could probably run circles around your company's countermeasures. But then, I enjoy cooking more." When Kyani enters, Swath actually takes a step back almost involuntarily and bites her lower lip. It is not so much that her confidence vanishes but she seems, perhaps, to withdraw into herself a little. She does remember to bow, however, and then continues "I will get breakfast, sir... " before Ted goes to get his money. She only ducks into the kitchen for a moment before bringing out a tray with steamed meatbuns in a wicker basket and a pot of fresh coffee, all of which fills the air with delicious aromas. For whatever reason, however, a dirty look is aimed in the direction Ted retreated to.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Kyani blinks, "Yea, I have a few others I need to get to." he says. When asked about a job in computers he blinks, "I'm not that skilled and I know basic stuff for computers." he says as he looks at Ted. Also he didn't know how this guy got his info, "How did you know I was at one point looking for a job in computers, I've never really put anything out." he says as he looks to Ted.

    Kyani notices Swath stepping back a little, and as she speaks, he fully takes her in and then looks back to Ted, he didn't care, some rich people are just odd. Though he doesn't have any personal friends who are rich so maybe this is normal?

Ted Kord has posed:
Ted Kord returns waving a fistful of money. "I was talking about /her/ knowing computers... and cooking. Not you.. I have enough of my fellow geeks working here. A good cook is a priceless gem. Anyway... I have a single, a five and a hundred. You got here like a shot. take the hundred. Annd try a meat bun if you'd like." He sits down to follow his own advice. Having found an incredibly advanced AI is incredible luck. Having one who cooks and is easy on the eyes is spectacular. "What's your name, delivery dude? Are you looking for another job? We can always use a courier and such. Talk to Carole."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Taking the iPad back and puts it back in his messenger bag, he than takes the hundred and pockets it. He does walk over and take a meat bun, he eats it and quirks a brow up, "This is pretty good." he says as he looks to Ted, then back to Swath, "Thank you." he says. "My name is Kyani." he says to him. "What are you wanting me to do as far as jobs go?" he asks as he looks to Ted, "I mean this job does pay the bills." he says wanting to see what the offer Ted is trying to offer.

Ted Kord has posed:
Ted Kord spreads his hands and says, "Much the same thing, only exclusively for Kord Co. Ah Susie might need you to help her grocery shop occasionally. As for paying the bills... I think my people manage to live comfortably... and they get medical. Something just tells me you're pretty good at this job. Plus we do promise advancement. These buns are fantastic... Susie."

Swath has posed:
    "You seem to have a knack for finding technical geniuses, Sir," says Swath as she continues "Also, if you please... my name is Nagi. Spelled with the kanji for 'Mow down the enemy'." Her cheeks are bright red, the saffron hue of her complexion showing her flush in a deeper berry as she directs Ted to address her so informally and sets the basket of baked goods on the table before pouring Ted a coffee. "If... you could perhaps not mistake me for Susie again, please sir," she continues softly while holding the now empty try to her chest.
    The meat buns do, indeed, have a pleasant taste. The intentional half-baking of the dough is given a springy, chewy, texture by the steaming which serves as a texture palatte for the filling of sweet pork and vegetables. The it is a cornucopia of subtleties and lusher sweetness that is supported by the mouth feel of the combined meat and pastry. "And, thank you sir," she says softly, looking down and away as she fiddles with her hair.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    He quirks a brow up at the job being provided to him. He shrugs his shoulders, "What all will this entail? I am pretty good and deliver all over New York." he says to Ted. "Is there other things you will want me to do or just what I'm doing now?" he asks.

Ted Kord has posed:
Ted Kord frowns and says, "Well I'm not hiring you to dig holes for my enemies. They're all alive, and burying them would be wrong. I mean assist Carole around the office, pitch in if a research project needs another pair of hands. Wash my Bug sometimes. Listen, take a brochure from the front desk and come back if you see a job you like." ted takes a sip of coffee, he does a double take and takes a bigger sip. "Thank you Nagi-san. I am sorry I confused you with my former help."

Swath has posed:
    "Umu, think nothing of it sir," responds Nagi as she bows briefly to Ted. She has a quiet, monotone, soprano but it strikes a sonorous note like a flute. She is soft spoke, yet clear spoken. She looks to Kyani for a moment, then looks down again. Yes, by American standards he girl is strange. By Japanese, she would probably be considered introverted and shy. It doesn't come together well in her present crcumstances, but at least she doesn't fidgit. She has a knack for standing abslutely statue still.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Kyani nods his head, "Alright, I will check out the brochure and let you know." he says as he looks to Ted. He offers a smile, "Thanks, just got a lot of things on my mind and know I have a lot to do today." he says seeming to have shake himself out of it a bit. "Thanks for the job offer as a courier, I may take you up on it. I will be back." he turns around and begins to head out the door. "Thanks for the tip and food, the meat but is really good ma'am." he turns and looks back at Swath and bows his head. "Shi shi'ne."
