Banshee's Scream: A bad night to F.E.A.S.T.
Date of Scene: 05 December 2020
Location: F.E.A.S.T. Shelter Manhattan
Synopsis: The Black Banshee, aka Siobhan Smythe's dead mother, is finally put to rest thanks to the efforts of SHIELD and a couple of passing super peoples.
Cast of Characters: Siobhan Smythe, Hellboy, Bart Allen, Daisy Johnson, Shannon Davis

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Shield had set up outside the F.E.A.S.T. Shelter near Hell's Kitchen due to the investigation by Hellboy and Daisy Johnson. The danger was none other than the supposed mother of one Siobhan Smythe, aka the Silver Banshee. The Prior Banshee, she was threatening the shelter in order to get at her daughter. She had already killed. She would do so again.

Tonight, Hellboy would have gotten a ping from one of his set up wards that something powerful had entered the shelter. No one there has seen anything but that doesn't mean she isn't there.

Hellboy has posed:
Hellboy sat, hunched over a sheet of lambskin. Herbs smouldered in earthen-ware bowls. He muttered, his voice a dry croak of ancient gaelic.

Something happened, a pop, a fizzle, a crackle. On the lambskin, an intricate glyphe had been drawn. A hole was now burned through one of the designs.

The chanting stopped and Hellboy scowled down at the broken ward, features souring as he twisted the cap off of a bottle and then drained a good third of it.

"Fucking stubborn."

He emerged from whatever janitorial closet he had been in, bottle still in hand, "Alright everybody, she's here! Do what you can to get everyone out before she hits the buffet line!"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen has been trying to do some things to help people out besides just being a hero, and today he gathered aluminum cans from a couple states, and used the money to buy coats from goodwill and such place. So a blur shows up at the shelter, and while at first may not know what it is, the white legs at the bottom, and the lightning bolts from his mask poking out might be a bit of a clue.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy came along with Hellboy, casually dressed in this case so as to not cause panic in the shelter. Not that an actual DEMON wouldn't, but details. She still brought her gauntlets though, ready for a fight if it came. But it's when Hellboy emerges from the closet that she quirks a brow. "You .., had to go in there to figure that out..?" she questions. This whole part about magic is still something she is very skeptical about afterall!

She does take the warning seriously though, lifting her sleeves to reveal those gauntlets and tuning herself up to the surroundings, attempting to find anything that could be disturbing the normal movement around the place. People flying would be a given if she could pinpoint them, but her powers are not yet fine-tuned as they could be. "Can't sense her yet.." she announces..

But swiftly enough she approaches the head of the shelter, motioning that it was time for people to evacuate.

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis stood just past the entrance of the shelther with a squinted eyebrow, carrying what was presumably prepared food. She did live in the rougher parts of the city, and so was often stuck with carrying out her mother's donations to the shelther. Once she realizes there's something off going on her eyes light up with blazing excitement, she almost feels light headed. She shoves the food off onto the nearest surface and starts to approach, observing to try and figure out what was going on. "Yo, you guys need a hand? I'm not in costume but I'm a super too." It was technically not a lie, more so the fact she didn't even have a costume.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
The place was packed and few had been told about Shield's presence or even why they are there. The Shelter manager had told SHIELD that there was no moving these people. They'd die just as fast out in the streets and telling them it wasn't safe could drive them away. As Hellboy gives a signal though. Several agents placed in the shelter looked toward him even as a few people gawked.

At the entrance, a kindly old woman grins at the pile of coats, "A donation?" She asks while gesturing toward a couple of men who approach to take them. All seems normal till one of the men stops and his face contorts. Then another and another starts to look different. More and more people begin to look contorted, angry.

"Bring me... my daughter!" They yell out in unison before casually, one older woman starts to move toward Hellboy, long grey hair moving oddly.

Hellboy has posed:
The big, red devil grunted, shoulders bobbing as he weathered Daisy's criticisms about his choice of conjuration conditions, "Best they had, kinda' an atmosphere th-" he began. Maybe it was a fib, maybe he just didn't want to set off the fire alarms with the smoke... Because who else would sabotage a smoke alarm for a warm place to smoke?

He's cut off when things start turning. His face looks like a craggy, red ediface when the old woman makes her demands. Now would be a good time to have a goddess of death in his back pocket... But all he had was most of a bottle of old, irish whiskey and SHIELD.

"She ain't here, you old, crooked bat!" he bit back, "Now how about you just take that in like a damn adult, we'll have a drink and you can tell me all about how terrible your kids are."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "Yea, I heard they were needed." Then as the people start to act odd, he starts looking around, and hey there is the guy with the big hand from Titan's tower, he was a member of shield or something. He will look around and ponders if there are lockable doors about.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
With Shannon's and Bart's approach Daisy's attention goes to them. One she knows already, Impulse, and the other does introduce herself as a hero so she gestures. "Careful. We are after a murderer who has been going on a spree lately. We believe she may be--" and it's when the 'person' starts approaching Hellboy.

"Yea, that's the one..." She doesn't start shooting just yet even if she does draw out her ICER, pointing it towards the old woman who's moving closer. "Stop right there! No more killing." one hand holding the ICER, the other prepared to 'suck' out the scream if she can..

Sound is vibration afterall! "Your daughter isn't here." she reaffirming Hellboy's words, jaw tensing. She is ready for a fight.

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis stared at the woman, then at the other people, her lips pressing together a little. She really wasn't sure about supernatural stuff, she could easily handle villains and criminals psychologically but this was pretty uncanny. Unfortunately that was just the right kind of stimulation to make her spine tingle in the exact way she liked. She opens both her hands, flexing her fingers a bit like claws. She very much hoped this would come to a fight. "Oh wow, this is some weird place for this kind of stuff."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A small amount of laughter comes from the old woman. The voice clearly carrying and Irish Brogue. Even as she laughs, the people of the shelter also laugh in a disjointed chorus. The woman looks up and what is revealed is an ethereal Visage, a pair of dark eyes, glowing darkness that streaks down to her mouth which is a black hole. Her hair is wild, her body raising off the ground even as she reaches out with a gnarled hand.

"I you do not have 'er, den all will die. Starting wit' you." She laughs and the people here start racing for Hellboy and Daisy. A few seem to cower and hide but those that are controlled begin to attack.

Hellboy has posed:
Hellboys shoulders slump and his features falter as he breaths a ragged sigh, "Y'know, that worked once." he opines to daisy and anyone that would hear his sordid tale of woe. His arms hung at his sides as if weighed by anchors. "Alright, fine, the fucking hard way again." he snarls as he rolls his shoulders and rocks his neck from side to side, hooves scraping softly at the tiled floor. That big, right hand lifts up and thrusts forward, a single finger extended, brandished like a weapon. He drew breath and loosed it in a booming call-!

"Get'm Daisy!"

Bart Allen has posed:
Impulse will watch this for a moment, and frowns. He looks over to where the pile of coats were set and moves to start grabbing the. He will take a coat and go to a person, and put it on them backwards, making make shift straight jackets. The cool thing is in seconds he has put them on quite a few, but sadly there is not enough coats for all the people.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Gods. I can imagine how it ended too..." Daisy rolling her eyes back to Hellboy. All manner of possibilities on how it might have actually! But then they are being charged by .., innocents. It has Daisy's expression turn to a serious one. Playing with innocents is one of those things that ticks her, teeth gritting together..

She lets her powers unleash, sending shockwaves in an attempt to have people be thrown back, at least those not getting put into straight jackets.. Not full-on powered of course, she doesn't want to kill anyone, but to keep them at bay, creating a barrier of vibration.

"Come out you coward, and face us directly!" she taunts the creature. "At least your daughter doesn't hide behind innocents!" poke the big bad! That can only go well!

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis grins at the incoming people with great delight, finally she was getting into a real situation that wasn't completely in over her head. Yet at least. Seeing the people were getting bound and knocked around she figures she should help in getting them tangled up. As such she begins grabbing everything at hand, coat hangers, chairs, stools and pointing each of them at the possessed. Each time there's a loud THUNK noise just before the object is launched across the room and crashes into them, at a moderate level of force.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
The people are starting to get hit by various objects, wrapped in coats and being thrown back by Daisy. Meanwhile, the Banshee herself floats up and back away, grinning as she watches the chaos. Then she smiles a little darkly as she turns her head. It is hard to tell but her eyes somehow seem darkly pleased.

Else where, Siobhan Smythe stares off the rooftop of Titans tower and frowns. She transforms, taking on the image of the Silver Banshee and then she steps into the air.

"Mother..." She whispers out and vanishes. Moments later she appears above New York and then flies down toward the shelter.

Inside, the woman now known as the Black Banshee disappears, and then suddenly reappears behind Hellboy and whispers, "Let me sing ya a song, big boy." And with that, she unleashes a horrifying scream.

Hellboy has posed:
Hellboy hadn't exactly planned this. The plan was that she stay out and maybe make peace like in some kind of lifetime movie... But that thing he thought up five seconds ago was working pretty well. Now it was time for the -next- five seconds.

He tried to remember the old songs, chants, and rites he'd been memorising. What did he need, binding, banishment?

Wait, where'd she g-

It drove into his every bone like a drill, a slow, dull drill. Sharp and terribly shrill. He pressed his hands to his pointed ears, both stone and flesh, still managing to hold onto the bottle somehow.

Of the dragon horde of talismans and charms he wore beneath his coat, exactly one was good fo this... It crumbled to dust, spent.

Still the palpable force was in his ears, in his teeth, threatening to send him crashing through the field Daisy had erected. He anchored himself, a hoof cracking the tile and cement of the foundation as he turned on the woman

"Back to your mound, you gnarled old crank!"

The whiskey wasn't just to take the edge off. He'd called in a lot of favors. One of them to a distillery owned by and Irish family that had kept old ways safe when Christianity swept through their land like a fire and burned legends and tales away, twisting gods and heros into saints, witches, and devils. This, this whiskey that sloshed out of the bottle as he scattered it at her like a holy sacrement, it aughta sting.

Bart Allen has posed:
Impulse will actually try to make sure the people getting bowled over don't take to hard a bump. The young hero will continue to help people and then seeing the banshee moving behind Hellboy, He will pull out a pair of earmuffs, and puts them on. It may not help but in his mind it will. He runs behind the banshee, and says overly loud since the earmuffs to muffle the sound a bit "I think you were off key, can we try a B flat?

Daisy Johnson has posed:
With those mind controlled still about and trying to reach them Daisy can't redirect her powers to help Hellboy. She can only hope that he can manage... But so far all seems to be fine.., if it wasn't for that loud sound. She does her best to try and diminish it so the others around aren't as affected though it does have her stagger down to one knee at the effort. "Not sure how long I can keep them away ... Better make it fast whatever you will do!" she tells Hellboy, voice loud and frantic.

Still, she looks over to the others, namely Impulse and Shannon. "Got to take her out before she can harm these innocents.."

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis also screams, but for a different reason, her ears were hurting like crazy. She holds her head as it goes off and silently thanks the universe that the big red dude was soaking it up instead of her. Once she's able to get her bearings again she shoots the woman a wild smirk. She reaches into her hoodie pocket and pulls out her master-crafted weapon, consisting of a weight on the end of a long rope. She approaches the woman at the correct angle and swings it sideways, aiming to wrap the rope around her neck using the weight and squeeze it shut. It's hardly gentle but also far from deadly, as long as it wasn't kept on for too long, hopefully it'd keep her from being able to scream with her throat compressed.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
The banshee lets out an angry hiss when the whiskey hits her. She lands and stumbles back before glaring at Hellboy, "Tricky demon..." She hisses out and then all the people attacking seem to stop. Stumbling this way and that even as the Black Banshee seems to lose her control over them. They seem to all react differently, though all are at least somewhat stunned, a few collapse completely. Then she blinks back over at Bart before eyeing him and, well, even by Bart's standard's she's fast. Extremely fast. He may be faster but one might even say she's as fast as death itself. Her hand whipping out for Bart. That is, until a rope wraps about her neck and squeezes. She blinks her deathly gaze turns toward her. In the darkness that is her mouth, there's something visible. Teeth grinning maybe? It's unclear.

"Ah...if I had a livin' body." She reaches up and grips the rope, "Dat might've 'urt." She then laughs and starts to go toward Shannon when suddenly another one appears.

Not just any other one. It's the Silver Banshee in all her glory. That short white hair, eyes aglow with dead light, face pale white with skeletal teeth gritted in anger.

"Mother! Dat's enough!"

The dark banshee that was focusing on Shannon suddenly lets out a slow cackling laugh, "Finally..." And then she snaps a finger and everyone...starts to feel a horrible pull. A pull toward the Dark Banshee, a vortex that seems to yank on Hellboy, Shannon, Daisy, and Bart. Progressively, they can see the dark void that is her mouth opening wider.

Hellboy has posed:
Hooves arn't great on tile. They scrape and scrabble when the pull comes. He pushes down and the tile cracks and churns up like the earth before a plow bot still, he's pulled.

He tips the bottle, another pull.

So Sio's back... Would have been nice to know.

Hellboy lifts his heels and balls that Fist.

If she wanted a taste, he'd offer her a knucle sandwich.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen is ready to dodge out of the way of the quick ghost of a woman, but then things are happening. He starts to wonder who the new one is, but at the mother comment, he blinks, which does give The Black Banshee a bit more pull on him than he might normally let her get, but he comes out of it and will with some effort, start to pull away, he will grab for the rope or chain of Shannon's weapon trying to get to get and make sure she does not get pulled in.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
With the innocents now free of the Banshee's influence it means that Daisy can lower those shields, turning her full attention towards the Banshee. She is about ready to start unleashing when the OTHER banshee comes by.. And then that pull..

Daisy lowers herself down, one hand gripping on the ground while the other pushes away with her powers, attempting to propel herself away from that opening maw.

"Pull out, Hellboy!" She calls out even as the demon is sending out his knuckle sandwich. But she can notice a deadly trap when she sees one. That maw isn't inviting! Or being close to it at all!

She grits her teeth. "Sio, you weren't supposed to be here!"

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis luckily, picked a weapon of choice that came in a pair. The counterpart of the roped weight is pulled out from the other end of her hoodie pocket. She was not going to get sucked into some demon ghost, not today, she had much to accomplish in her life, so many villains she wanted to demolish. She grabs the weight with both hands and points it at the wall. She starts building force into it gradually so she can hold on, accelerating it more and more and squeezing to hold on as much as she can. The force builds rapidly to the point she has to let go, at which point she blasts it out as hard as she can, lodging it into the wall, which hopefully would anchor her down enough not to go flying into the abyss,

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
It all happens at once. Three of them pull back as one dives right in. Daisy pushing herself out, Impulse running like, well, a speedster might, and partially thanks to her own power and partially thanks to Impulse, Shannon gets pulled away. Now, one can't say that Hellboy is a small meal. It's one thing to suck in a human soul, it's another to eat an entire demon. So, when that fist connects, it connects to, well, nothing and everyone can watch as Hellboy gets sucked right into the void, compressed and pulled like he were going through some horrific funnel. And then he's gone.

"NOOO!" Siobhan screams even as she watches it happen and everyone else can watch as the Black Banshee staggers at the pure meal and then she starts to laugh.

"Dis is your fault, Siobhan..." She looks slowly back at the Silver Banshee, "Or should I say...Silver Banshee." She laughs a little and then gestures, "I don't see why ya pretend to be one of dem when ye are so beautiful as you're meant to be..."

Meanwhile, Hellboy gets to see something he thought he'd never see. At first, it's like being knocked out (something he's likely quite familiar with) and then he wakes up. Standing in the F.E.A.S.T. shelter just as before...except it is collapsed. Roof partially destroyed. The walls on two sides fallen. Signs of death everywhere and on his head are a pair of full on horns...and a flaming crown. Above him. The sky is torn asunder, something horrifying and wicked reaching through. Flaming clouds of smoke as far as the eye can see and sounds of torment and torture, too.

Hellboy has posed:
There are a thousand, little ways for the world to die screaming.

Thousands of them.

Thounsands of little things that need to go wrong in just the right way for everything to fall in.

Hellboy is one of them. Just one. It isn't fun.

He hoped he'd never see it... it was his nightmare. The blood, the screaming, hell on earth. It stank of blood and balefire.

It was a weight, hard and heavy in the middle of him. It drug him down to his knees... and for a moment, there he remained.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
As Hellboy goes out swinging at the creature Daisy's eyes go wide.. She shouts a "Noooo!!" effectively echoing Siobhan's own words and she stops pulling back. Her eyes do blaze with determination and instead of pulling back ... Well.. She /pushes/. Not like she had gently pushed the innocents.. This one is a full-on blast that she focuses on the black Banshee...

No holding back. But hell with come to earth before Daisy will let one of her own Agents go out without giving all she can in having him back.

"Bring him back, creature!" She calls out as she sends out her focused blast.

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis was in a fairly awkward situation, on one end she was anchored to a wall, on the other she was anchored to a murderous ghost woman, and she was also out of things to shoot. This also made grabbing something new she could try to accelerate at the bad banshee's face quite difficult. As a result she has to focus on getting the rope out of the climbing hooks she used to hold them to her jeans, and once free, she'd have to procure a more appropriate weapon. In order to do so she'd start attempting to break a chair apart, perhaps a staking would work for ghosts.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Out in the world beyond Hellboy's, well, Hell, Daisy is attacking hard. Impulse is racing around trying to get people outside using his super speed, and Shannon is preparing for round two. Siobhan, the Silver Banshee watches as Diasy pushes on to the Black Banshee who laughs even as she is smashed downward and backward, "Yes...give me yer anger girl!" She calls back to Siobhan, "Maybe she should 'ave been me daughter...she knows what rage is." Almost immediately Siobhan is beside Daisy and glaring.

"Ye want to know rage? I'll give ye rage!" And she screams, adding to Daisy's push. It seems to be going well till the Black Banshee vanishes and then reappears to their right, aiming her mouth right at Siobhan and Daisy. She grins darkly.

"Let yer dear old ma show ye how it's done!" She then opens up hard and that scream...it's terrifyingly powerful. Siobhan thought she was immune to such things and yet...this. This was something she was not prepared for. She attempts to shield Daisy even as she flies backwards toward her. The wall behind them is shattered even as that force pushes backward.

"Hey!" A voice calls out to Hellboy. "Wake up." The Irish Brogue of a young man calling out through the screams and cries of torment. The horror. The Apocalypse of Hellboy's own making. "Ye can't let it win." If he looks up a young man, perhaps around 18 or 19 stands before him, "Focus! Dis is yer end only if ye let it be." He stares at the demon, "I know ye don't belong here anymore den I do." He states, "Fight it or you'll fade as all de utters did." He nods, "Come on, I don't who ye are but you don't look like someone who t'rows in da towel."

Hellboy has posed:
How... who'd it happen? He couldn't, he couldn't remember how. He knew what he must have done though...

'Hey!'

He looked up, jaw slack, eyes hollow.

Oh...

So the old crank had a belly full of him, did she?

It came back, rushing in. He remembered and now he was angry.

His jaw firmed, his eyes narrowed. The lie fell away, the ground-down stubs that hung over his brow grew. Horns creaked like groaning trees as the curled upwards. A true crown burned above his head, a torch burning.

He cast his eyes upwards, rising up. Letting that anger boil and build until it worked itself into a word. A single solid word that reached beyond the belly of the banshee, beyond the false sky and into the heavens. It stirred the sky and brought fire down. A bolt of lightning, dazzlingly bright and terribly close. Crashing down through the roof to split the black banshee open like the big bad wolf who had gobbled up grandma.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Oh crap...

The first push seemed to be working. And with Siobhan joining in perhaps there was a chance but then ..., the creature teleports right next to them. Daisy only has time to bring up her arms, crossing them over her front protectively before the full blast hits them on. With both Siobhan shielding her, and using her own powers to lower down the full blast of that soundwave hitting her she isn't immediately dead. Which is a good thing! But she is tossed back hard towards that wall, hitting it and letting out a gasp of pain and dropping to one knee..

"Damn it, your mother is one tough cookie.." She wheezes out.

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis had to once more scream through as her ears rang, she didn't have time to shield them this time. She was busy bashing a chair into a wall until she broke the leg off into a sharp spike. This thing was definitely out of her league, for now at least, she never would accept limiting her own level of potential. However that did mean she had to survive to keep growing, and things were getting dicey. She wasn't even sure what was going on anymore but to maximize the odds of things working out she just focuses on her plan, in case whatever was happening didn't quite work.

She slaps a hand on the blunt end of the leg, with the sharp tip pointed at the correct banshee. She grips it with her other hand and with her arms, holding on as hard as she possibly could while she begins charging it up with building momentum.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Siobhan does her best to take the brunt of that magical scream. It wasn't like what she was used to. She winces as she is brought to a knee and then looks back at Daisy, "Yeh, it's where I get it from." She looks with a glare at her own mother, a now true shade of her former self. She isn't sure what to do with it until she blinks as her screaming mother is about to let loose another blast only to stop and stumble back a step.

"No..." THe Black Banshee says softly before she looks up wide eyed and a bolt of lightning slammed into F.E.A.S.T. shelter and tore right through the roof, ripping the place a new skylight. THe magical bolt of lightning hit the shade of a woman and she let out a scream that was far less damaging and far more pained. She lets out a gasp of pure pain from that magical attack.

"Eat somet'in' dat disagrees wit' ya?!" She asks and then she looks back at Daisy, "I t'ink he's still in dere! Give her all ya have and don't let up or he's dead!" She then looks to Shannon as well and gestures, "Whatever ye're plannin', make it count!" And then she steps to the side and screams but this time she aims at the floor, ripping up tile and earth to cause it to slam up into the Black Banshee.

Meanwhile, inside her 'belly', a young man yells out triumphantly, "Dat's it big man! Give 'er anot'er!" He laughs and then blinks as he looks out through the front wall even as something big, terrible...and rather Lovecraftian in natuer starts literaly rolling toward the building, all tentacles, mouths, teeth and eyes, "And hurry! Dis world doesn't like spirit! It's made to crush it!" He den runs to beside the demon, aka Hellboy and says, "I don't know what ye are, if ye be demon or man but keep it up!"

Hellboy has posed:
Horns as like a lamb, speaking with the voice of a dragon.

Son of a devil, son of a witch, son of a- ...Well, after his mother got out of her teens, she was a rather lovely woman who had two other lovely children besides.

Shame about them.

His eyes burned as he cast them onto the brother. It was hard to keep things straight when he let things out. He had to keep his jaw tight, had to breath. People had to breath.

As the monster dreamed up by a man who was afraid of everything that wasn't white, male, and American came rolling in with it's mouths, eyes and other orifii of mention, Hellboy strode forward.

Shaggy, cloven hooves ground this world beneath their tread as Hellboy rose up. Larger, towering. Great wings swept open, rending out through his own air and beating the air into a gale as he drew back that Fist.

"We'll see who crushes what!"

He swung even as teeth and tendril bore down on burning, red flesh.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Ready for round two!

Daisy is just about to get back up to her feet when that lightning strikes. Damn! She looks at Shannon for a few moments, perhaps wondering if that was her.. She doesn't know this hero yet afterall! But then when Siobhan speaks about it perhaps being Hellboy she blinks.. So the demon isn't so easily squished.. Figures! And it gives her heart to keep going too..

She climbs back up to her feet at last, cracking knuckles. "Alright. Lets do this." a nod is given, both to Siobhan and then Shannon before she then unleashes.. Shockwaves leave her, starting to hit the black banshee as if it was a repeating hammer, over and over, she letting out a loud scream back at the banshee. Take that!

Time for some payback.

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis was struggling to keep the wood in her grip, which was hurting the skin all over her arms and hands due to the pressure and drag, but she wasn't even feeling it. Her eyes were fixated almost animalistically on the banshee, this was just the right kind of action to get her fix of adrenaline, which by this point pretty much had to be a deluge straight into her brain or she'd barely feel it.

Once she feels she can't keep holding on anymore she goes for the full blast, adding the last surge of force to send the wood shooting off like a ballista. Though the wood was much smaller and her arms weren't strings, they were quite close to the woman. She hoped that would compensate as the arrow is shot directly at the banshee's chest to avoid too too much inteference with the trajectory.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
The screaming, the pressure, it is baring down on the ghostly figure of the Black Banshee. Her very being not held together by flesh but by willpower and otherwordly magic. She can't concentrate on everything at once. She's trying incredibly hard to hold it together. To do what she set out to do. To get what she wanted. And then suddenly that blast of wood slams through her neck and she gasps out in pain. A hold of black ichor flowing down her neck even as she shudders, grasping up at it.

"Well, dat's not exactly what I meant but...uh..." And Hellboy is literaly launching himself head first into the heart of his own nightmare. Striking against a beast. Hell, a certain Captain Jack would be quite proud. The tentacles and teeth bare down on Hellboy and he connects just as everything flashes brightly.

And then from that horrible hole ripped through her throat pours out more than just black ichor as the Black Banshee lets out another gasping scream of torment. Now, back to his non-horned self, is Hellboy, shooting out like he was ejected by a geyser and set flailing toward the ground along with another person who seems to also by caught in that ejection vortex. The being known as the Black Banshee falls to her knees, looking like she has been drained of almost all of her color. A grey ghost, gasping for a breath she can't take, one hand at her neck and another on the ground.

"Siobhan..." She gasps out even as the Silver Banshee approaches, the skeletal woman staring down at what has become of her mother.

Hellboy has posed:
He's been fighting that since the late 70s. His father gave him a hammer to break open the world, he's been using it to break open everyting else instead.

Like now, he just broke out of a ghost.

He's hurled into the abandoned food tables. Peas, mashed potatos, and gravy. Delicious to eat, terrible to wear... He'll need another jacket at last.

Kicking free of the broken tables and overturned serving trays, Hellboy comes up with a gun...

"Oh hey, I remember that guy..." he utters, just a moment away from trying to find something to shoot, only to falter when he sees the boy.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Eyes are wide, Daisy looking at the banshee as she unleashes, not wanting to relent until they get their Agent back... When he gets thrown out, well, there is a mix of relief along wih she taking a step back. The fallen Banshee gives her pause, stopping on her attack.. Mortally wounded apparently, at least as mortally wounded as a banshee can be. But whatever the case may be this is not for her to decide what her fate will be.. That she leaves to the daughter..

Instead she moves closer to Hellboy and ..., a new boy?

"Try not to get gobbled up by the big bad next time, will you?" She says, then asks. "Who .., is that?"

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis falls backwards on her ass, breathing heavily. Charging up her powers like that was quite taxing, so she takes a moment to wheeze and cough. She looks down, seeing the blood dripping from spots on her hand and arms where the friction was rougher, grumbling under her breath about her parents annoying her over it. Though even then she was still in awe of the fact she had shot the demonic ghost woman in the neck. It was by far the coolest thing she had ever done, so it was worth it. "Hoh boy, I thought I was gonna die. That was great."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
There's a staring down by the Silver Banshee at this ghost of a woman before her. All of her terrible form has faded. She looks almost human now. Her face still a gaunt form of its former self. Her eyes still blackened holes but she looks like she did in life. As close as she can anymore. She reaches out, placing a hand upon Siobhan, pulling at her and gasping out through ragged voice, "I just...wanted ye to...I wanted ye to be who ye are meant to be." She gasps out and coughs up some ichor, "Ye need...to be da banshee. Ye're meant to be da banshee..." She whipsers out and Siobhan frowns darkly with that skeletal mouth. Slowly, she reaches out and touches the side of her mother's face.

"If ye insist...mot'er." And then the look on the Black Banshee's face changes. Slowly she pulls back and turns quickly to try to get away only to start pulling backward even as Siobhan stands up straight and opens her mouth to unleash a horrible scream. As she does, the Black Banshee screams, too. Her figure becoming that horrible thing again even as she claws away and reaches for anything to hold, only to find nothing and get sucked straight into Siobhan. Vanishing into her own hell.

"Ha...ha ha ha..." Siobhan slowly starts to laugh, her voice that mixture of Irish Brogue and ethereal otherworldly terror as she laughs louder and then finally gasps out a finally laugh and then whispers out, "I can't feel her...anywhere. At all...she's really gone." She then chuckles darkly to herself.

Meanwhile, that young man who was with Hellboy slowly pushes up and looks at Hellboy, grinning a little till he realizes what he is hearing and looks over in time to see Siobhan finish off the Black Banshee. "Oh no..." he whispers out.

Hellboy has posed:
Hellboy stood. Pistol hanging limp in his hand. He took a moment to process it.

The pistol whispered quietly, metal brushing against leather as he slid it home and buckled it in place.

From there, it was a job to find a cigarette and get it lit.

Mommy was gone... Sio was having a dark, portentious cackle.

If hell was going to break loose again, he'd at least try and sneak in a smoke break.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Oh, if only Daisy smoked! She might just had joined in that little break... Instead she looks from Hellboy to the kid, then over to Siobhan.. the ominous chuckle isn't good..

"Are you ok over there?" She asks the silver banshee, hopefully not having gone black!

A look is given over to Shannon, perhaps making sure she is okay, a nod given in her direction, both in recognition but also as if calling her over to join with them.

"I hope this isn't a usual day at WAND ..." She murmurs to Hellboy..

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis grunts as she slides up to her feet and ambles over, making a stop first to pull her first weight back into her hoodie, she yanks on the other one but it doesn't budge. "Uhh, big guy can you get this out of the wall for me?" She asks, turning to the group and approaching. "Maybe I should learn magic at some point to be more useful in these situations. If that's even a thing that you can learn. Do you have to be born a witch or something? I do have lots of siblings."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
"Am I ok?! Why ya askin'? Ye wish to find out if I'm ok first hand?!" She turns and glares at Daisy, eyes flaring as she stares only for the young man next to Hellboy to stand up completely and hold out a hand, trying to calm the woman.

"Siobhan..." He says softly and then Silver Banshee turns to look at him before blinking. Within a moment she's back to being just simply Siobhan Smythe, gasping in surprise, "Tommy..." She says softly and stumbles back a step. She stares in disbelief even as he nods, "It's my, Lil Bonny..." He grins a little even as Siobhan nearly falls and he rushes over to grab her by an arm, pulling her up, "It's me..." And then she grabs him into a hard hug, "Tommy..." She begins to sob.

Hellboy has posed:
Hellboys hand braces a cigarette between fore and middle finger. He brings them to his thin lips and draws a breath. The ember of his cigarette burns as he draws through it.

Always like this? He ruminates on the thought, pulling his hand away from his face and exhaling the fumes. "Eh." its a grunt, his hand waggling from side to side in something of a 'more or less' gesture in answer to Daisy.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Ah yes. Communicating through grunts. It's an art to some! Daisy has a bit of difficulty reading it though! But the gesture helps. She nods grimly up at Hellboy before her attention is caught back by Siobhan. The aggression is noted, her own posture more tense... But with Tommy saving them from getting more aggressive she lets them have their moment, eyes going to Shannon.

"Thank you for help here.. I am Daisy.." as for magic, she just shrugs. "Asking the wrong person. No magic here.."

Shannon Davis has posed:
Shannon Davis offers the woman a smirk and a nod, her arms crossing for a moment before she winces a little and uncrosses them. "I noticed, not sure what you were doing but it reminded me of my own powers a bit. Just a lot stronger. For now at least." She stares at her palms a little, making a few gusts of air. "Name's Shannon by the way. No need to thank me for my most excellent assistance, I live for this kinda stuff." She then offers the woman a thumbs up. "My first time dealing with the supernatural though, wish Dr. Pym could have seen it. I'd love to hear him trying to science it away."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Siobhan pulls back after a long moment, smiling at Tommy before she finally nods to him, "It's good to have ye back, Brot'er." She nods her head and he brushes a hand over Siobhan's head, "It's good to be back." And then she turns to look at Hellboy and smiles at him sadly before mouthing out, 'Thank you' to him and then she slumps a little against a brother she thought lost years ago. Though there's far more to do, SHIELD agents are already swarming all over, trying to get readings, assess and the like.
