The Framework: HYDRA Aftermath Reloaded
Date of Scene: 20 June 2021
Location: The Sphere
Synopsis: People get medical attention. Bucky has shell shock. Clarice lets SHIELD keep the remaining mutants - for now. Poor Sara is caught in the middle.
Cast of Characters: James Barnes, Sara Pezzini, Clarice Ferguson, Sam Wilson, Carol Danvers
Tinyplot: The Framework

James Barnes has posed:
Super Soldier or not, Bucky really should not be moving. But when Sharon made that request, he rolled himself over to his hands and knees. Then he straightened up so he's just on his knees. Next step is getting to his feet. Never mind that it's all over and the good guys won, for now, he's so caught up in trying to stand up and get over the those Pods he doesn't even notice. Well, at least that means there's no spinal damage to speak of?
There are two holes in his back though, one upper right near the shoulder, the other is lower left. There are no exit wounds. That could be bad. As Shuri is always so quick to remind, his kind are not bulletproof.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini wades through the parts of the centipede soldiers, making her way toward where Bucky landed, checking to make sure nothing else is moving or that what is moving, is supposed to be. She's no medic, Witchblade and she have not reached that agreement yet, so for now she will make sure that clean up is done and medics are pointed in the right direction.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
The Brotherhood had pre-arranged a few locations for Clarice to evac any mutants she could teleport away - with medical and combat teams standing by to subdue and attend to the victims. "The girl - with the bug-eyes, did she make it?" She speaks into her comms - the first time she's used the thing since she'd arrived - but her people knew she was alright, given that she'd bee teleporting out some of the mutants. "And the others? ...damn. Okay," she replies, her gaze scanning the room.
There's a wary expression as she waits to see if any of the 'locals' start to take notice of and offense to her presence. Honestly, she's surprised none of them have tries to shoot her yet. When she spots the worryingly still mutant form at the bottom of the sphere, she blinks out of her present position on a catwalk, reappearing with hands raised and hands empty near the hulking being's form. "I hope no one minds if I check on this guy, huh?" she asks - making slow, deliberate movements to approach.

Sam Wilson has posed:
The sudden departure of hostiles--followed up by the sound of crumpling bodies all around--is either a good thing or a really, really, really bad thing. Sam doesn't stop to consider which it might be.

If they all suddenly explode, then that'll be his answer. Until then, he's got work to do.

Sam swoops down towards the first floor of the Sphere, landing on one knee with his arms coming out to arrest his momentum before he slams his face into the ground. Oof. Not exactly his most graceful landing, there, and for a moment he's woozy with the sudden reminder of all the various aches, pains, and injuries he's sustained.

There's still a steady trickle of blood leaking from the gunshot in his neck, but it's really just a flesh wound. Besides, most of his uniform is red, nobody will notice! The tingle in his fingertips is a little more concerning, but he'll worry about potential injury to his axillary nerve from his shoulder dislocating later. Triage is more important, and he might be one of the few on the scene with actual first aid knowledge.

One thing first, though. "Buck, you good?" Sam takes one look at Bucky and decides on his own that no Bucky is *not* good, and Sam grabs hold of his arm, trying to arrest his movement. "Stop, you need to stop moving, you've been shot. Come on, we gotta put pressure on those before you bleed out."

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini turns to look toward the purple haired girl who blinked in, literally. The sword in her hand lifts but she recalls the purple being helpful, unlike the thoom of the other teleporter. "If you can help him, help him," she comments, face hidden well by the metal armor. Bucky will have to be dealt with by someone else, for now she has to keep an on eye on the helpful purple haired mutant, and wonder... where did she come from?

<<Anyone know who this is?>> She asks into the comms quietly, as she takes a few steps toward Clarice, non-threatening.

Carol Danvers has posed:
<<Can someone get an ID on the teleporter who seemed to be helping us in the battle.>>

There is a pause.

<<Find out Pezzini. Also make sure that grey skinned mutant she is asking about does not get up. He is like a Dollar Store Hulk in power level.>>

Yeah Carol may be stuck still keeping the reactor core steady and unable to move from the Power Containment for the Nuclear system.

That doesn't mean she isn't aware of everything going thanks to the video feeds to her helm which is still up.

James Barnes has posed:
There are a whole lot of injured 'good guys' down here and not many, if any of them, have that serum running through them. In other words, Bucky is more likely to survive... as long as he sits the fuck still. He still has bullets in there to be bounced around and wiggled about each time he moves.
He also hit that noggin' pretty hard, he still seems confused. "What did I do?" It's barely whispered. Flashes and bits and pieces, words loud... sinking into the darkness and now he's here and all these people are hurt and dead.
Sam shouldn't have a bit of a problem figuring it out. Bucky is thinking he was triggered and... hurt people. At least he has stopped moving.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"I'm going to send him somewhere he can get help," Clarice answers - wearing what she hopes is a reassuring smile on her features - lowering her hands but keeping them open and empty. "These people weren't responsible for their actions; they were being controlled." A quick inspection shows the man to be unconscious - but clinging to life. She rests one hand on him - and he disappears with a faint glow of purple energy. "Good luck, brother," she whispers softly.
Her gaze returns to Sara next - climbing back to her feet. There's blood dripping from raw patches on her cheek and arms, and she's a bit winded, but she seems relatively unhurt despite the chaos that just happened. "Is there anything I can do to help? Anyone you need evac'd somewhere for medical treatment?" she offers.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini watches the purple haired women closely, then how the large man just... disappears. "I didn't know the collar controlled him until another went down," she says softly, tone filled with pain. "Had I known, I'd of taken the collar off sooner." She glances toward Bucky and Sam, "Hey, you need Bucky moved safely? We got a teleporter here, she's willing to help and he won't have to move or be moved, pretty damn effective if you ask me."

Her attention goes back to Clarice and as is does the metal tendrils that formed the sword separate and slide back into the armor, no more sword. "You should get yourself looked at as well."

Sam Wilson has posed:
Sam stops for a second, and twists his head (ow open wound on neck) to survey the scene. His arm reaches up towards his ear. <<Only teleporter I saw looked like they were working with HYDRA.>> He drops his hand.

"You got shot." A pause. "Couple of times, it looks like. When you were falling?" Man, that couldn't have been more than five, ten seconds where they were stuck in mid-air with that bird mutant on top of them, and Sam remembers very little of it. The haze of battle, and all.

The adrenaline is starting to leech out of his system and when he lifts his hands to check Bucky's wounds, they're shaking. Sam grits his teeth. "Then you fell maybe eighty, ninety feet? Not sure. These don't have exit wounds." His exam is extremely brisk by necessity, but he's able to determine that much, at least. Then he adds, "You saved my life. Pretty sure I was about to be beaked to death."

He really wishes he knew more about this place. Like where he might find first aid equipment and the like. It's not like he carries his pararescue kit on him anymore. "Look, *don't move*. You've got bullets inside you and they'll aggravate your wounds if you don't stay still."

There's a not-insignificant wobble to Sam's frame as he stands back up, and he blinks black away from the edges of his vision. <<Can someone point me towards the nearest first aid kit?>>

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini grabs the first aid kit from the wall near her and tosses it to Sam, then looks back to Clarice, however it is into the comm that she speaks, <<No, I clearly saw this one helping us out. One was a thoomp warning before appearing, this one has javelins and purple portals. I was allowed the opportunity to pay attention for that, as I was by the door and unmoving.>>

Now to Clarice she says, "There may be others around that need medical attention, I know Clint was shot in the shoulder, but we got him. Make sure to take care of your people first Miss..." and this is the part where names go.

James Barnes has posed:
"Yeah well you look like shit too," Bucky quips back. "Give that wobble about a 2.5, maybe 3 though. It went a little far left when it shoulda went right." It's still there, tickling the back of his mind, niggling his fear response. Something happened here, something that was almost Really Bad, he just can't find it yet.
The stubborn asshole actually manages to get the rest of the way to his feet. "I can help Sam." With the wounded. He's not a medic by any means, but anyone that's seen as much combat and field work, no matter which side it was on, knows how to patch a wound right?
"I can patch up that ugly looking hickey on your neck anyway."
His hair is matted to the back of his head, a bloody mess, from the crack he took to the back of his head when he fell. Best case? He rattled his Swiss cheese brains enough that he never remembers what almost happened here.
His comm? It's gone, lost in the fall or the impact? Or maybe he just can't hear blasted thing out of that ear right now. It's a little bloody. Without the serum in his veins, he would definitely be dead, so so so so so dead.

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol is still watching through the HUD in her helmet and she says very slowly. Very distinctly on the comms.

<<I want that black handed, grey-skinned, meta or mutant detained that is in the hole in the bedrock. I am not sure he had a collar on. If he is a victim we will treat him appropriately. If he is a HYDRA Agent though we do not need him teleported out into the wilds again.>>

Carol eyes the reactor she is stuck babysitting.

<<So Agent Pezzini. Tell the teleporter she is not to teleport away any further HYDRA agents until we can clear them. It isn't safe.>>

Honestly Carol does not want that power house loose if he is still a HYDRA threat.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"It's just Blink," Clarice supplies, giving Sara a grateful smile. "And I'm fine - really. My wounds are minor. I just came here to- well. No one should be forced to harm others against their will. These people deserve the chance to be free." She starts moving towards the second, hulking form - this one slightly cratered into the ground. Without a SHIELD comm - she remains blissfully unaware of Carol's commands. Others around her - not so much, and she very abruptly comes to stop - hands going up again as some of the surviving SHIELD agents imposing themselves between her and her target.
"Whoa - hey. Hello there, fellows. I'm friendly. See? Smiling and everything."

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini frowns, but she's a rookie... she has no idea who is fully in charge, who she answers to, or what the hell is really going on. You know, the usual state of a rookie. Someone just gives her an order, she follows it.

"Alright Blink, I'm afraid that the other HYDRA agents here, mutant or other wise, will need to stay. I have orders to keep him, specifically, here. Sorry." She steps over now and offer her hand, "You can call me Witchblade."

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"I don't like that," Clarice admits - though she does relinquish a few steps of ground - moving away from the mutant she had just been trying to approach, before turning to accept Sara's hand. "We look after our own," she explains. "If he's still alive - he needs medical help. These mutants are //innocent people//. They didn't do this by choice. They were kidnapped, tortured, and brainwashed." Hints of distress are starting to leak into her tone and expression, despite her efforts to keep things carefully controlled and restrained.
"I came here to help them. They- none of them will trouble you again, you have my word on that. If you'll just allow me to help them... Who can I talk to?" Does she have time to //debate// this with these people? Mutants could be dying. But if she doesn't - she makes an enemy, when the Brotherhood is trying to make friends.
    Fuck.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"I'm fine," Sam bites out, purely on reflex. "Pushed through w-- Bucky, SIT down." A frustrated groan works its way out of his throat when, guess what? Bucky doesn't listen. "Fine, okay, let me at least tape some gauze over the gaping wounds in your torso, okay?" Someone on the comm line directs him to a side room where he finds a standard SHIELD-issue field kit.

He's paying only the fuzziest attention to anything that goes out over the channel that isn't "Medic needed" so he hopes someone else is dealing with whatever mutant/metahuman containment issues they seem to be having. Not his problem right now.

His gauntlets come off. He's out of ammo (at least the kind that he can fire without Redwing's aim-assist) and Redwing himself is out of commission, so it doesn't really matter. And Sam needs to put gloves on, anyway. He folds a couple pieces of gauze into square and makes judicious use of some medical tape, briefly getting all up in Bucky's business (and clothes) to put them in place over his gunshot wounds. "Don't bend your torso. Just try to keep up straight as possible."

And then if Bucky wants to help? Well, he can carry the kit and hand Sam supplies as needed while he heads out to triage.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Medical personal are moving all throughout the area now, seeking out those injured to tend to wounds, and more critical cases are being moved to be taken care of. Even as Sara shakes the girl's hand, she has much the same concerns as Blink does over the mutants. She's always been a very strong supporter of Mutant rights and freedoms, and this entire situation has her irritated, frustrated, disgusted and angry.

"I assure you Blink, they will get taken care of. I saw for myself that once those collars were removed, they were no longer controlled, I know this wasn't their choice, and I promise you I will stand up for their rights to be let go after their wounds are tended to, but we don't know yet who all had collars and who might have actually been helping HYDRA. I saw the collar on the ice user, I personally removed the collar from the behemoth over there, so I know they were not here by choice."

Turning slightly, she speaks quietly into the comm, <<Danvers, some of these mutants were not here willingly, the collars were controlling them. I saw with my own eyes what happened when the collar was removed. Can Blink, yes that's her name don't ask, be allowed to move the one's who were collared? She's getting pretty agitated about they take care of their own, and honestly... I don't think we can stop her, we need her to cooperate.>>

Carol Danvers has posed:
Keeps one hand pressed to the reactor core shielding.

She lifts her arm up to her mouth and issues a soft command to the suit.

<<I understand that. They may not be mutant. They may be Inhumans. We need to sort it out and do not need to make assumptions. If they are collared and enslaved they will be treated and released.>>

There is a pause <<No offense to this Blink lady but we don't have a clue who she is with. I'm not about to clear someone who may be working some other factor we haven't ID'd pick up a slew of free soldiers. If she wants to discuss it hand her a comm. If she goes rogue and just starts teleporting people her face and name will be literally everywhere she does not want it to be.>>
Danvers sounds like she is out of her usual jokey patience.

James Barnes has posed:
Kidnapped, tortured, brainwashed... Bucky just stands there while Sam sees to his bullet holes. Bits and pieces of conversations filter through his left ear and hit his brain like a ton, it's the right he can't hear out of. Russian words dance around in his head. Longing... what happened here? Kidnapped, tortured, brainwashed. Rusted...
The fact that he takes the kit without protest and follows along quietly could be just do to the fact that he's actually hurting, maybe a little bit shock-y even?
...but what happened here. It's right there, but it keeps dancing away again.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
Clarice takes the comm that's handed to her - putting it to her ear as she says in a voice that's slowly growing chill despite her best efforts. "Who do I have the," dis, "pleasure of dealing with?" she asks. She pauses for a name to be supplied and then continues. "Look - I don't know if you've ever personally be tortured, manipulated, brainwashed and programmed to act against your will. Had years of your life robbed from yourself, and then remembered every damned sickening thing you've done to betray humanity, and your own people, but I have. And these people have. And I really would like the opportunity to help them to recover - you know, with the therapy and support they're going to need to become functional members of society again. Are you folks really prepared to do that? Because it looks to me like you've got your bloody hands full already."

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini steps over to Blink, after hearing the rant, "Listen Blink, we intend to take care of them as if they were our own, and we will let them go if they aren't HYDRA. You're welcome to stay and keep an eye on all of it if you want, okay? But we have to do it this way because some might be Inhuman's, not mutants. Deal?" All of this is also said over the comm, she's trying here.

Sam Wilson has posed:
More than once Sam has to stop and shake out his left hand to get the feeling to come back into his fingertips, but he's managing.

There are other medics on the field, at least, so he's not expected to do much. In fact, they seem to be handling the worst of the casualties, which leaves Sam to handle some of the less-serious injuries. Including the ones their apparent rogue teleporter is sporting. He has no idea what the hell he's walking into the middle of, which shows clearly on his face when he approaches Blink with his super-soldier medical assistant.

"Uh... you're injured. Sorry to cut in, but would you mind if I looked you over?" The words of Blink's ranting rattle around in his head, because Sam is on edge for a variety of reasons that absolutely include the close call with Bucky's programming being reactivated by HYDRA in the middle of the fight. He sucks in his breath, which makes a few bruised (and maybe broken) ribs protest.

Carol Danvers has posed:
<<Hello Blink. This is Captain Marvel. I have personally had that happen to me three times actually so trust me when I say I know how bad it can be. We do not know which if any of them are actual HYDRA Sympathizers and frankly I don't know you from them right now.>>

A pause. <<So you need to trust that we won't harm them. We will free them. But I can't trust you to take them. If you care as much as you say you care, how would you feel if we let someone we didn't know steal them away and just force them into servitude. I have a lot of contacts with the Mutant Community and many avenues to make sure they get help once they are freed of any HYDRA control.>>

Hell this Blink may be working for Sinister as far as she knows. That would be bad.

James Barnes has posed:
Tortured, manipulated, brainwashed, programmed... every word Clarice says just pounds and beats against Bucky's already fragile sense of sanity. Of all the rants in all the places in all the world, that one had to come here and now?
He stops moving. Of course that could be because Sam is where he needs to bed. He's quiet, but he's been quiet so that's not startling.
But he's also shaking, trembling like he's standing in the middle of snowstorm in Sibera. His teeth are even chattering violently, he drops the first aid kit. His eyes are vacant, far away, lost... he is lost in his own head. Shell shocked and damned near catatonic, Sam's seen it before, more than once and on more people than Bucky.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
Clarice grits her teeth. She doesn't like it - she doesn't like it at //all// - but some small corner of her mind admits that Carol just might have a point here. "...fine," she manages to force out, but she doesn't sound happy about it.
Looking towards Sara she remarks, "We've had prior experience with the mutants who've been put through this... program. The ones we encountered had explosives implanted, here," she indicates her neck. "The- their handlers should have detonated them before the end of the fight. Maybe they weren't using them this time? Maybe the handlers were all down? Maybe something in here blocked that signal? I don't know. But I would make checking for that and removing them a top priority if you have any hope to save their lives."
She turns her attention towards Sam next, studying the man up, and then down. "I'm fine," she answers. "Only superficial wounds. I'm sure there's others that need your help, more." But she doesn't pull away from the man, or offer further protest if he decides to treat her otherwise.
Her gaze locks onto Bucky - watching the man with a dubious expression as she activates her own comms. "They're not letting me evac anymore of the mutants. They say they're going to treat them themselves - and rely on their contacts within the mutant community to provide rehabilitation and support." Just who the hell is she talking to?

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini honestly has no clue about any of this, she's just trying to deal with things one step at a time. On the force, there was a procedure that was followed, with SHIELD, well she never got to learn that procedure and it showed. She was winging it, no pun intended.

"So we're good Blink?" She asks. "You stick around, keep an eye on things with the mutants for now, I mean that we can permit because honestly, I don't have much rank. I just stand around, looking good, and strop Juggernaut wanna be's from going through doors."

Carol Danvers has posed:
<<Thanks Blink. I know it might be hard.>>

She turns some more attention back to the reactor core. Spending another moment to slowly weave the molecular structure of the shielding a bit more repaired with the radiation she has been absorbing fueling this cosmic patch job.

<<The lack of explosions on evac for the one in the crater makes me wonder if he isn't one of their own.>> or already dead honestly. She did slam him spine first into the bedrock hard enough to make a hole.

She doesn't say that part though, just falling quiet while she works. Keeping half an eye and ear on the rest of the operation.

<<That's fine. I'd like to know who she works for and is talking to though.>> that was only to Sara.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Yeah, no, this is above Sam's pay grade here. Actually, is he even getting paid anymore, now that HYDRA's... ugh. Sam shelves that thought for another time. Just putting it alllll up on the shelf. He gives Blink a once-over, as if gauging whether or not he believes her about the whole superficial wounds thing, but right now he's not up for arguing with stubborn superheroes. Over it. Dealt with it enough.

He turns to reach for something in the kit Bucky's holding and stops with his arm halfway out.

"Buck? Damn, come on, let's--here," Sam hands the kit off to another medic who looks like they might be low on supplies, and then he puts one hand on the back of Bucky's neck and the other on his arm, guiding him out of the chaotic fray of the triage scene and back towards that side room-slash-supply closet, his voice quiet as he talks to the other man while they walk.

Probably for the best that he dip out, anyway. Sam's in no state to be making higher-order decisions about medical care right now.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"We're... good," Clarice agrees, watching Sam and James retreat, before returning her attention to Sara. The comm is returned as she lets out another sigh - but there's a hint of humor leaking into her voice before she remarks, "Just be glad it wasn't //actually// Jugs. No offense meant - but I'd put my money on him." She's seen what that man can do too many times to bet otherwise.

James Barnes has posed:
Bucky is led along easily, that's a good indicator that something is Not Right. At least by the time they're almost to that supply closet room, he knows... "Sam?" Who he's walking with. It's really just depressingly sad to think that a man with two bullets still floating around inside him and lord knows how many injuries from that fall... is suffering more from the things inside his head right now than he is from any of the rest of it.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini nods to Blink, accepting the comm back to slip into her armor somewhere, almost as if a tendril of metal took it from her really. "Trust me, I've read about him, I would /not/ want to run into him. Listen, I get we don't know each other, we don't trust one another, so let's start this out a little different from here. Your friends all around here are being taken care of now."

Just as she said the medics are tending to everyone equally. The more serious the wounds, the higher priority they are, but all are treated.

"So why don't you and I make our way out of this location, get out the way, and talk. You can tell me who you are representing here, what brought you here, and I'll tell you the process that will get your friends cleared for release."

Carol Danvers has posed:
<<Good job.>> that was on Sara's line only again.

<<Also. I'm pretty sure I could throw Juggernaut into orbit. Jus saying.>>

Okay Carol must be in a bit of a better mood right now. Some sass slipping out.

Maybe the reactor repairs are going well. Maybe it is the fact none of her friends seem to have died in this conflict.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"I prefer to stay where I can see," Clarice counters - but she allows herself to be steered away from the center of the action - and even away from whatever mutants may still remain alive in this mess. "It's not- I mean. I know your people helped out - in Genosha. And I appreciate that, really." That's one of the only reasons she's able to remain as calm about this as she has been. "Make sure they know about the possible bombs," she adds a bit insistently.
She takes a deep breath, letting it out slowly - but as for the question about who she works for - gives Sara and almost puzzled look. "I'm... //Blink,//" she repeats. Oh, someone has an overinflated sense of her fame, doesn't she? "I'm with the Brotherhood of Mutants. And I'm a member of the Royal Guard for the Genoshan Royal Family."

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Okay, that was a lot of information Sara was not expecting to get that easily, but she has her comm open to pick up what Blink said, so that only Carol can hear it, since Carol is the one who wanted the information.

"I'm certain other members of SHIELD know who you are Blink, but I haven't been here that long, so forgive me for not recognizing your name. As promised, here is the process. Their wounds will be tended to and they will be debriefed, by that I mean they will be asked questions regarding their involvement here. Yes, the bombs in their necks will be checked for, to see if they are there or not, because exploding would be bad." She says that now to ensure it is heard by Carol and thus passed on to the right people. "If they are in fact mutants who were coerced into service," slaves, why not just say slave, "then they will be offered therapy and treatment if they want it, but released at that time. If you want to be there to offer the programs other have been through, then at that time you may offer it. Those who are found to have been willingly involved, will be detained."

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol tilts her head and brings up a holodisplay and runs the search.

<<Ah there she is, unknown distance to teleport too. Tell her I'd love to talk to her sometime after this current mess is cleaned up. I'm sure the Queen wouldn't mind.>>

SWORD has the need of some really long distance teleporters after all.

Meanwhile an agent near Clarice and Sara looks over at Blinks debrief. "You're with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants?" okay that ratchets up the tension.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
Clarice was here to make friends - it's hard to do that if you don't say who you are. But as the Agent nearby speaks, they quickly become the target for Blink's aggrevation. "Who calls us that?" she counters with annoyance - frowning with a disapproving expression. She tightens her jaw for a moment - then forces herself to relax. "The Botherhood has taken some... regretable actions in the past. But we are working to change, and correct our current image. We want freedom and safety for all mutant kind, and we will not tolerate people - like those here today - who threaten that. //That// is our mission."
She nods to Sara before adding, "I would like very much to be able to offer them sanctuary and the assistance of the Brotherhood."

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Sara Pezzini nods, looking at the agent for a moment, then back to Blink. Her comm remains open just to Carol, "Well, come with me then. We'll do what we can to accommodate that desire, however we need to vacate this area, and there are other who will wish to speak to you." Please Carol, don't take too long because this one can just POOF and she doesn't want to have to try and chasing after purple phantoms.

Carol Danvers has posed:
The Agent who is glared at just mutters "I mean.. like everyone. I'm pretty sure there were news broadcasts ..." he scuffs a boot and wanders off.
