Cast of Characters: Zatanna Zatara, Nettie Crowe, Tynan Ireton

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
What does one sorcerer bring another? Or better yet, what does a homo magi bearing gifts bring a self-styled crotchety woman that she secretly admires? Her favorite Swiss chocolates, of course, Cailler Frigor Dark. Nothing chi-chi about them, not from a fancy shop but just plain good. Good with tea, coffee or a stiff drink. Zatanna has left off wearing stage clothes preferring plain black, she has a penchant for Japanese designers these days, so it's all in the details. She carries a stiff red carton bag with a couple of red boxes of that chocolate which she puts on the counter.

Nettie Crowe has posed:
Nettie had heard the doorbell, and she calls out 'Sorry! We're closed!' from behind the room marked PRIVATE, but when she comes out, dusting her hands because of course, those wards don't just let in anyone. her silvery eyebrows rise up when she sees who it is, though, and her lips purse.

"Well. You're not who I was expecting." she comments to Zatanna, and she motions about with a slight grin. "What can this old witch do for the great Zatanna Zatara?"

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty is off ot the side, working on a few of her new magicks. She frowns a bit as she casts brath, and then pulls the energy back in. "Learscail.", she breathes out while touching a piece of paper. Its very slow, but a small map of the building is magically drawn in. The young mercenary lifts her hand, trying to pull the magic up to make it a three dimensional object. A few seconds later the spell fizzles out, and Ty pants a bit. She mutters before looking over at some runes for enchantments she's working on. Not to mention the books on illusions. The woman is taking some time to catch up on her studies. She can't let the Wabbit get too far ahead of her!

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
I hope I'm not intruding." She nods at Tynan working on her spells. "If you're in the middle of something, let me know. Smiling, "It would be great if you lay off the great Zatanna business. I can't hear that without wincing. So unless you intend a dig, please don't. Second, I was hoping to find a tea, a Turkish tea that my mother swore by made from a variety of Turkish flower and mint."

"These," she motions to the chocolates are for you."I hope you like your chocolate dark."

Nettie Crowe has posed:
"As dark as I used to like my magic." Nettie gives a slight grin, using one finger to open the package and peer down, and she gives a soft hum.

"Can you describe it to me? Think back of the days of sitting at a knee or at feet. What are the smells? What do you taste when you think of this tea?" she gives a wry grin, and she snaps out a step ladder, and takes a half-step back, the shorter woman looking over all of her little drawers of tea ingredients.

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty remains focused on her studies. For the most part, she knows she's behind. As she looks at one of the runes, she tries to draw it on a piece of paper. The woman frowns as it frustrates her with its wierd style. For now, she just bites her lip, and puts it off to the side. She opens up a book on illusions, and focues her attention on that. Ty hasn't noticed Zatanna yet. Her single minded focus is trying to get a few more spells memorized. The rabbit possession has bugged her a bit. She knows she has no defense against stuff like that.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
A smile spreads across the magician's face and her eyes unfocus as she remembers, "It smelled of comfort, laced with honey. It was a little acidic on the tongue, but in a good way. It was very red. Not rose hips though," she comments, looking up at Nettie on her step stool. "But flowers. I remember her calling it ebeg- something. Maybe ebegimiki?"

Nettie Crowe has posed:
"Ebegimiki... mmm..." Nettie considers, glancing over to Tynan as she works, and she gives a bit of a smile. "Mind your runework, kitten." she warns, and she climbs up the ladder to one f her drawers. She pulls out a russet red leaf tea, and puts it in a bowl. Followed by some flower buds. She then pushes herself to the side, the ladder showing it has wheels as she goes to a different drawer and she takes a pair of tweezers, and carefully extracts from athin pouch a few golden twirls, and adds it to the bowl. Then down she comes, and she picks up a silver teapot. Into the silver teapot goes the ingredients, and from the huge steam kettles she adds boiling water, and then leaves the pot in a place for the tea to steep.

In the meantime, she produces an orange scone, and sets it in front of Zatanna.

"And I do apologize for 'the great'. On occasion some pop in here and they put on airs and graces and pay in ancient gold coins. I keep telling them I have Square now, no one beleives me."

Tynan Ireton has posed:
"Alright. Just can't quite get these runes to line up right to enchant firearms. They seem a bit too big for that.", she tells. The woman continues to read up on her illusions. She flips through to the glamours. There's a few sian that she wants to work with, but is having a hard time understanding why they're so unstable. Ty sighs a bit as she jolts down a few notes. "Also, should I get the good cups?", the woman asks. The woman looks back at her runework, and how messy it looks.
