Recovering in the Medbay

Location:	Level 1 - Medbay - The Roost
Synopsis:	A recovering Megan catches up with Bart and Conner

Megan Gwynn has posed:
It's been barely a day and while Megan is more or less back to normal, it seems that Phoebe wanted to monitor her for another day or two after those spiders monsters had drained and potentially infected her. Who knows what long term effects might have come with being attacked by such supernatural creatures? At any rate, she is propped up in bed, looking rather bored and eager to get out, listening to upbeat music on her phone while flipping through a manga, humming aloud.

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner ended up somewhat bruised and quite a bit of freaked out by the whole giant magic spiders business. It explains why he missed Megan was at the Roost. But one dawn came with some sunlight (whatever passes by sunlight in wintery Gotham) he felt much better and heard the winged girl was around.

Which explains why he is here, peeking in to see if Megan is decent first. "Hey, good morning. Is Pho... er... is Balm around?"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks, glancing up from her graphic novel, and upon seeing Conner she smiles, slipping off her earbuds. "Hii, Conner, how are you doing? I'm really sorry about teleporting you the other day..I didn't realize you reacted so badly around magic." as for Balm, she sighs, "Oh you just missed her by about ten minutes. She had to take care of something. She's really sweet.."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen comes walking along the hall. He is wearing his kaki colored uniform that says "Gotham Zoo on it." He may smell a bit like the zoo having not showered yet, but at least it has been a while since he was having to shovel pool, the last part of the night was more feeding some of the late nighters.

Conner Kent has posed:
"Eh, it was just... mostly the spiders," replies Conner, with a brief wince. "But you have probably heard about magic and Kryptonians. It is not we are more vulnerable than anyone else, it is we have bad habits about not dodging when everyone else does."

And here comes Bart, not even bothered with a uniform or mask. Then again, who is he to complain? Conner told Megan his real name months ago. "Hey, Imp," he greets, "we have a guest. Or maybe Balm has a patient, I suppose."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles and waves to Bart. "Hi!" She greets cheerfully. To Conner she nods and sighs, "Yeah, those spiders were pretty scary..And we nearly got buried to death too.." she shivers, hugging her arms, "But I'm glad everyone got out safely. I was discussing with Balm where they could have come from and if there might be more. I guess I'll need to do some research, but I'm pretty lucky you were all there to save me and the others. Thanks again." as for being a patient, Megan pouts a bit. "Yeaah, she wanted me to stay for observation, just in case those spiders infected me with magical venom or..Something I guess. I'm fine realky, a bit tired but ok."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will do the old flash trick of vibrating his face just enough make identifying him difficult. He waves and says "Hey there, how are things going?" He nods a bit "Balm will make sure your healthy before she lets ya go. She is a good medic, and caring person." He hmms and says "Wonder if we could get you anti magic armor SB

Conner Kent has posed:
"No problem, we were lucky you were there and knew a bit about how to deal with the critters," replies Conner with a brief smile, "and to get the others out when the whole place fell to pieces," he adds. "So... well, you can always teleport out, I guess. This is our secret hideout, so keep the place a secret, please."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods to Bart, errr Impulse. "I'm doing ok, just recovering. Good thing you were all there. " she grins and nods to Conner, "Yup, I can practically teleport in my sleep, but hey, we make a good team..If you ever need a full time teleporter, just let me know!" she grins and winks but her smile fades a bit at the request, nodding solemnly, "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me, cross my heart."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over and says "Well teleporting might be faster than me carrying everyone, I mean I can carry three or so in the Impulshaw at one time but then I have to take another trip.

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner nods, "sure will... well, Robin would, it is his team," he smirks at Bart's boasts, then shakes his head. "Anyway, if you are going to stay another day, maybe you should get some food. Did Balm feed you? It is breakfast time. Just stay here and I will bring you something," he decides, slipping out.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn smirks, "Heh, sounds like a lot of work, and I'm happy to help. I'll be sure to talk to Tim in that case. It'd definitely be nice to work with so many cool people. I'm already working with Balm to figure out more about these mysterious magic rifts." she frowns, "It's pretty strange, I doubt it's accidental.." she nods to Conner as he leaves, "See you later, Conner!"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen waves to his friend and says "It aint to much work, I am used to, it like do you have a favorite type of food?"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks, "Facorite type of food?" she shrugs and giggles, "Ohh I dunno, I like Turkish Delights and Yorkshire puddings?" she grins, "So what can you tell me about the outsiders..That's what you call yourselves, right?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will hold a finger up, and is gone and just a few moments later he has both of those for you from where they are most famous of. He looks over and says "What you want to know? We are all friends, trying to help out and do the right thing."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn oohs, eyes widened in surprise, "Woow where'd you even find those?" she giggles, reaching for a Yorkshire pudding, munching hungrily on it, "Hee, you're really funny! Umm.." she shrugs, thinking, "Well, what do you do, are you just a younger, teenage, superhero group, do you get paid for what you do, and do you need special training?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen says, "Well, we don't get paid, but if you need a place to stay we do have rooms, Red Robin is the leader, and we try to pick up things others might have missed, or others can't do cause they are to public. If your on the team Rob will make sure you have some training, don't want folks going into the field under prepared"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn hehs, "Oh don't worry, I have training with the Xmen..Too bad you don't get paid though." she shrugs, "Soo you're what, super secret or something? How come?" she smirks and shrugs, "I'm sure my demonstration with the spiders showed that I know what I'm doing."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen says, "Well there are lots of big named groups, like I am also part of the Titans, but no, no pay. He motions to his uniform "I work at the zoo, and go to college myself.""

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles, "Ooh, the zoo huh? Weren't you there when those animals got loose and turned into weird puns and stuff?" she giggles "What was that about? Must have been some sorta spell gone awry.. Still, good thing the Titans were there. Must be fun to work with animals.." she sighs and shrugs, "Still, I get some pay with the Xmen..It would be good for extra training though. I wonder who are the other members I haven't met?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen shakes his head and says "No, I was not there, somewhat wish I had been, but it is what it is. Well, there is a few, you say your part of the X-men?" He hmms and says "Whats your code name?"

Megan Gwynn hmms and nods, "it was pretty crazy, I'd say it was a zoo but.." she shrugs and giggles, "Ooh, you can call me Pixie! I have an Xmen uniform and all, although I've been working in a unique costume too, all black, mini dress." not super practical but cute as heck really.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "We know a few X-men." He pulls a ocm out and puts it in his ear, and says "Hey anyone who knows Pixie she is here in base."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn oohs, "Really? Who else is here? Any younger Xmen? It's always easier to bond with my own generation! Yknow? that's what I like about you guys, you're not all old folk!" she giggles.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and says "Well, one of them you might see running in here to steal candy and she is one of our younger members." He hmms and says "Gabby, you know her?"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks, "Stealing candy? Ooh she sounds like a troublemaker.." she giggles but arches a brow at the name. "Maybe...Scrappy little girl, name of Gabby Kinney?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "Oh she aint stealing it, really, Balm keeps a candy draw in here." He shows her "Think partially the whole doctor and sucker, but also we have a few high metabolism people here as well." He nods a bit

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles and nods, "Ooh like Impulse right? He's pretty fast, must burn up a lot of energy! Heck, the speeds I fly at and using magic can use up lots of energy too!" she grins and nods, "Nah, Gabby's cool, I wonder what other Xmen are hanging out here?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods a bit and says "No offence but rather get their ok before telling ya. I doubt they would mind, but I like to make sure. Yea, I can put the food away.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods and smiles, "Sure no problem.And I hope I can talk to Red Robin soon too. He seems pretty cool, wonder what he'd think about me joining the team on a part time basis even? At any rate, I'm likely to be working with Balm at least on figuring out this magical mystery."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "I'll let him know you want to talk to him." He zooms off and is back again with a bag of chips "Want something to drink or something?"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles, still working on her Yorkshire puddings and Turkish delights. "Ooh, I think I'm good for now, but you're really funny!" she smiles, "You're pretty fast too.." she peers at him thoughtfully and pretty much suspects He's that other fast guy. "Soo what sorta things do you do at the zoo?"

Bart Allen smiles a bit "Me funny? Na." He grins a bit though "Well main thing is cleaning up and feeding them, but I am going to school to be able to help out with them a lot more." He munches a bit of his chips, and finds a seat.
