A metaphorical and spiritual depiction of the celestial underpinnings that join all the realms of the Demiurge together. Earth, known as Midgard, sits closest to the base of the tree. The spreading branches reach all the Eternal Realms, where the New Gods dwell.

Odin All-Father, ruler of Asgard, claims dominion over The Nine Realms, clustered most closely near the root of Yggdrasil. Asgard has held the role as protector of Earth and the Demiurge for tens of thousands of years.

The roots of Yggdrasil reach into the Demiurge itself. It is there that the endless power of the Demiurge flows like a river, feeding the World Tree. The Norns and Gaea alone reside there-- the entities most closely attuned to the primal nature of the Demiurge.
