Brief Summary	The Acolytes of Magneto represent and preach some of the most extreme ideas of the mutant-kind. They genuinely believe in mutant supremacy and hope for revenge against humans for years of suffering. Above all, they are a cult that believes Magneto to be the savor of Homo superior and has the potential to become a God-King. Though they often work alongside the Brotherhood this is only because they believe Magneto will lead the liberation of mutants from the shackles of humans.

The Acolytes of Magneto are a world-wide mutant extremist group who believe in the superiority of Mutants over humans based on a combination of racist, religious and vengeful rhetoric. The Acolytes believe Magneto to be the savior of mutant kind and destined to lead and uplift mutants. The fervor of this belief is earnest and has the organization function both as a terrorist group and a cult-ish religion.

Led by devotees and 'Chosen of Magneto', Fabian Cortez and Exodus, Magneto has tolerated the Acolyte's beliefs and allowed them to work alongside the Brotherhood for much of the organization's existence, resulting in shared resources and the Acolytes often being treated as a more radical subset of the Brotherhood. The Acolytes are driven by belief and tend to be more violent against humanity, zealous in their ambitions for mutant supremacy, with a passion that can and does lash back on the object of their devotion from time to time. Most of the time, this can be tempered and controlled by Magneto or his bloodline.

Acolytes can be found in all corners of the world in small or large sects of the religious aspect of the group, but even most of these sects are capable of some level of violence. Most members who engage in more terrorism or villiany in the name of mutant freedom live in Genosha or on Asteroid M.

• 2010 - Started as a radical online group dedicated to the work of Magneto, by late 2010 the most dedicated to the cause of mutant liberation abandoned their lives to meet their king and beg to work with the Brotherhood. Original members include, but are not limited to: Fabian Cortez, Anne-Marie Cortez, Allen Marc Yuric (Chrome), and Marco Delgado.

• 2015 - The Acolytes have continued to attract followers, but continue to mostly function as a subset of extremist and cult-ish Brotherhood members. They assist in the liberation of Genosha from the Magistrates, alongside the Brotherhood and X-men. The work done here officially centers Fabian Cortez as advisor to Magneto and head of the Acolytes. When Magneto becomes King of Genosha and passes leadership of the Brotherhood to Mystique, the Acolytes step back from the Brotherhood as well: intending to serve their king on the new mutant homeland.

• 2016 - Following clues and rumors about a medieval super-human that could be a mutant (although expecting to find just a skeleton and perhaps some genetic data) Magneto and some of his Acolytes enters the crypt where Exodus was buried, awakening him. Paris quickly falls in line to listen and look up to Magneto.

• 2017-2020 - Exodus swears fealty to Magneto and becomes one of his deadliest agents, becoming a leader of the Acolytes. A constant push and pull between Fabian Cortez and Exodus starts and continues through these years. As the more powerful, Exodus lead the Acolytes alongside Magneto during much of this time, fighting with the Brotherhood. As the more charismatic, Fabian Cortez stepped back to travel, preaching the Word of the Acolytes and setting up sects of the cult worldwide. Despite the growth as a radical mutant ideology and religion, a resentment in the organization as a whole for their beliefs being largely ignored by the Brotherhood and greater world exists and has started to grow.

• 2020 - The burning of Genosha hurts the Acolyte's numbers quite badly, but reignites the flames of belief. They see the Martyring of Magneto as a sign that they were correct and their time is now. They rally and are instrumental in the rebuilding of Genosha. Fabian Cortez and Exodus encourage Polaris, daughter of Magneto, to step forward and crown herself Queen herself in her father's stead.

• Late 2020 - When Magneto is discovered to NOT be dead, Fabian Cortez and a group of Acolytes take matters into their own hands and intend to ensure their Martyr is made, even if this costs innocent citizens of Genosha. Despite some assistance of Brotherhood members, They are defeated by the X-men. Lorna and Magneto both survive. Fabian is removed from his position and imprisoned along with many of the Acolytes who followed him, including: Anne-Marie Cortez and Suvik Senyaka.

• 2022-2023 - A smaller organization now, but close knit and still devout in their beliefs, the Acolytes continue to work as one with the Brotherhood. Their people are eventually pardoned for their zeal and return to work rebuilding Genosha or as Brotherhood members on Asteroid M, including Fabian Cortez. As a whole, the organization looks to repent for their past crimes and rebuild trust with their lord. The schism between Bennet and Fabian Cortez remains a schism in the organization, leaving each man to have secs with slight differences in beliefs around Magneto, with Bennet the final say on all matters if disagreement arises.
