Location: Roof: Themysciran Embassy
Synopsis: Thor and Donna drop in to share two words with Diana and Kora. An unholy alliance ensues with great plans for the overthrow of the dictator known as Wonder Woman.
Cast of Characters: Diana Prince, Thor, Donna Troy, Kora Ikassis
Tinyplot: Resonants

Diana Prince has posed:
The Invisible Jet MkII slides out of the clouds above Manhattan, and near-silently makes its way in to port above the Themysciran Embassy. The cloud-like vessel just hovers over the courtyard before it shimmers out of sight again, and the sun once more shines down upon the courtyard two stories below.

From the aft hatch, Diana emerges, wearing her armor and cloak as she descends the ramp toward the roof walkway that juts out a few feet from a stone railing area.

Once upon the roof, Diana meets with two other Amazon warrior women, Adra and Gala, who greet the Princess, while the trio begin to speak to one another. Diana informs them of her trip results, telling them about the harrowing situation of battling a strange creature that had risen up out of the Everglade swamps.

The trio continue to stand there in the sunlight, having a casual conversation as the hot summer winds rush across the Embassy rooftop.

Thor has posed:
The clouds above are far from lonesome as they drift across the sky occasionally causing those hints of shadow that flow past and across the world below. Welcome in the Summer weather warm as it is, it lends a hint of coolness with the breeze even as moments later the sunlight returns with the warmth from above.
Yet as Diana and her compatriots disembark another shadow entire drifts past and then slowly grows more prominent as it lingers with the rest of the clouds wandering by. Perhaps unnoticed until a glance upward or even in the reflection of a window will reveal the visage of a man floating in the sky, though slowly descending.
For it is Thor, and those who know him likely will recognize him, although it might take a moment further for his hair is not the wavy golden locks one might be accustom to, but instead short and stubbly as well as his beard. Yet that smile. That darn smile of his, there's no mistaking.
Especially when he raises his voice and calls out, "What ho, Warriors of Themyscira. Safe to approach your stronghold?"
That last has his smile slip toward the wry as he descends slowly. Garbed in the clothes of Midgard, he wears those ubiquitous blue jeans, brown work boots, and a grey hoodie. The only connection to Asgard he has currently visible is the mighty hammer Mjolnir in his hand.

Donna Troy has posed:
    A few minutes ago:

Donna is standing atop Outlook hill, explaining to some police officers exactly why the hill is now a foot and a half lower than it had been a few minutes ago, as the distinctive sound of the invisible jet's engine fly over head. Her eyes turn slowly upwards as she tracks the source of the sound, her mouth on automatic. "... and uh... that's the point the second robot exploded. Honestly I didn't get the impression that was intentional. I think it was just poorly built."

"LIES!" calls out the mad scientist du jour, owner of said exploding robot, struggling against the restraints of two arresting officers. "I build fantastic robots! It exploded because she punched it."

"I lassoed it," Donna replies, her eyes still on the sky. "Look, there's still a bit of it in my lasso." She holds the lasso out to demonstrate, and the officer in charge of the scene sighs. One of those days. "Anyway, I gotta fly. If you need more from me officers, just contact me at the Embassy. Good work today."

Before there's time for a response, she rockets straight up into the air, always a favored trick when you're having to give statements to the NYPD. She pursues the jet across lower Manhattan, slowing down when it becomes apparent it's heading back to the embassy, and arrives a few minutes later.

Now:

"Hey down there!" Troia's voice follows Thor's down. "Private party, or can anyone who flies join?" Her own landing is just a few seconds after his own. She clashes her bracelets in salute to Diana, Galatea and Adrastea, before firing a friendly wave in Thor's direction. "Hey guys. Something up?"

Diana Prince has posed:
The arrival of not one, but two familiar faces has the trio of Amazons all looking up. Adra, the redheaded one, smiles to the sight of both Donna and Thor, where Galatea just stares sternly. Diana also has a smile cross her red lips as she reaches out of her cloak to motion for the two to come down.

"Of course, both of you." She says with a soft smirk then as she starts to walk further on to the roof herself, angling her direction toward the seating area near the glass doors, and windows, that look in to the roof interior areas.

"It is good to see you, Thor." The Princess notes, as her stare goes to her sister next. "And I heard tell of you fighting a robot?" She questions the other dark haired Amazon who'd just arrived.

Galatea motions for Adra to follow her, but Adra pauses, and asks all three if they'd like anything to drink before she heads after the other toward the interior of the roof...

Diana removes her outer cloak and drapes it over the back of one of the chairs pushed close to a glass topped table. "I assume all is well with Asgard, Thor? Oh, and I like your haircut." She says with a little grin following those last words.

Thor has posed:
As Troia sets down Thor steps to the side, that casual change of body language incorporating her into the social circle for a conversation. His grin is given to her and the wave returned, "Lady Troy, I believe?"
The Thunderer asks that question as he turns an eye toward Diana as if asking silently if he had the right of it, for she knows likely if Thor is correct or he's making some sort of faux pas with how things are amongst the people of Themyscira. Then he smiles and hooks Mjolnir on its loop at his belt, resting his hands on his hips.
"Ah, a robot?" Thor says as he looks to Donna after hearing of this battle, he lifts a hand lightly. "Not as difficult as perhaps say, a dragon. But an admirable effort." Though she may not know him well enough to read his humor, Diana likely catches it.
Then he turns back to the Woman of Wonder only after shaking his head slightly toward Adra as he murmurs, "No thank you, none for now." He moves with the princess toward those chairs.
"You do? I'm thinking of growing it back out." Though she may fully well know what caused that change to the Asgardian's mien. He rests a hand on the chair and offers it first to Diana, then to Donna. And once protocol is in hand he'll take his seat after.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna holds a pair of fingers up to her sister. "Two. Two robots, Di. But they were pretty badly made and just kinda fell apart." That's her story, and she's sticking with it. She gives a quick wink to Gala in response to the stern stare, which she may or may not find provocative.

"Flimsy robots, Thor," Donna says grinning. "Nothing compared to a dragon. Honestly I'm pretty sure I wasn't needed, they'd probably have fallen apart without my help pretty quickly. Terrible workmanship. Troy is the American pronunciation, but it's Troia if you want to go for more accuracy. "

She gives Adrastea a smile and a nod. "Mexican cola for me please, Adra," she requests as they head to the seats.

When they're seated, she gives Thor's haircut a speculative look, but decides not to comment on this apparently slightly sensitive topic. "Caitlin tells me she's been helping you guys out with something. Alfheim, was it?"

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana takes the seat that Thor offers, sitting down on the edge of the chair, as Adrastea follows Gala inside to the lounge within. Galatea finds a place to sit inside at the bar, while Adra moves around to gather up a drink glass. She's soon filling it up with the soda that Donna requested.

"Yes, it has a nice... summer feeling to it." Diana speaks of Thor's hair style, before she leans back in her chair and places her hands upon her lap. "Two robots? Well... a little closer to a dragon then, hmm?" She inquires with a ever so slight tip of her head, followed by another smirk toward Thor.

"I was dealing with a lead on the stones that we have crossed paths with, in the ocean, and near to Siwa. Seems someone saw something that may have been another, but I was unable to find anything of the sorts."

As Adra returns with the drink for Donna, she offers it with a smile for the woman, and then brings Diana a glass of water with ice. She's soon to turn and leave again though, to join Gala at the bar inside.

"Alfheim? The Elven Realm?" Diana asks then, with a quick sip of her water to follow.

Thor has posed:
Sidelong to Diana Thor remarks with a half-smile, "A smidge closer to a dragon." Yet his tone is light and amused.
"Troia, I like that, it is a prettier name." Though how it translates in All-Speak might be difficult to discern. He then eases around in his seat to be more able to look at the pair of them, eyebrows rising at Donna's question.
"Indeed, her aid has been invaluable. We have set ourselves a great task and slowly but surely we are fulfilling it." He perhaps slouches an inch, perhaps two, just enough to look rather comfortable as he rests his hands just under his broad chest and interlaces his fingers.
Then he looks to Diana, "Which was, in part, what I had intended to speak with you about, Princess Diana." He uncurls a hand, "We've managed to be successful in securing three of the eight artifacts needed. Vanaheim, Asgard, and Alfheim."
He takes a deep breath and his nose crinkles a little, "But yes, the home of the Fae in various forms." He makes a small face as he tilts his head one way then the other. "It took some doing, Caitlin helped fell a great boar during a hunt. Though it was mainly... diplomacy and the efforts of my companions."
Though there's a moment when Thor's eyebrows lift as he perhaps does not share the entirety of what it took.

Donna Troy has posed:
"Even a very small dragon would have been more of a challenge," Donna disagrees with a smirk. "Like a dog-sized pet dragon. A lap dragon. Do they have those? They were really poor robots." She tilts her head to the side. "A robot dragon though," she muses, "That would be interesting. I've fought robots and I've fought dragons, but never a robot dragon."

"Fae realms are always a pain in the ass," she says, taking the cola from Adra with a wide smile of thanks. "We've just been dealing with one of the weirder sub-realms. That got /diplomatic/ too. Demarcation issues, questions of who owns the territory, things like that. Punching things is so much easier."

She takes a sip of her coke and leans back comfortably. "Eight artifacts?" she asks, one brow rising curiously. "Each from different realms? Hmm. Which realm doesn't get an artifact of its own?"

Kora Ikassis has posed:
The youngest Amazon scrambles for the stairs after hurriedly depositing her back pack in her room. One dab at her hair to tuck a few straggling ends back into her braid and she heads down the hallway at a quick walk then takes the steps two at a time up to the roof. Diana is back from her mission to Florida and Kora who had been following her exploits in the Everglades is eager to hear how it ended. The stairwell door clangs open under the impetus of her hurry and she skids to a stop at the sight of the Princess, her sister and a man who she recognizes from pictures.

In jeans with holes in them (someone had to explain it was not to show people that she was poor), bright red tennis shoes and a red camisole top, she looks the part of a young college student. Her mouth opens and she nearly turns to leave. With a swallow and a deep breath she walks out in time to hear the Thunderer speak of the Fae.

Kora silently hangs back on the edge of the group after a nod to both Diana and Donna.

Diana Prince has posed:
The glass of ice water is set down upon the glass table with a quiet clink. The Princess lowers her hand back down to her lap again then as she looks between Thor, and Donna. "This is in regard to your idea of having those who come to our reality, all be shunted toward the starport, right?" She asks then of the Thunder God. "Last we spoke on the subject, you were unsure of a way to make it actually happen. I guess things have changed?" She further asks before showing a slight grin. "Caitlin is a great choice to help you do such things. I am not sure I have ever met a more driven young woman before in my life, than that of she."

"Kora!" Adrastea speaks out from the interior rooms on the roof. She steps out to meet the girl, holding a glass of Mexican Cola for her too. "You must try this. It is absolutely delicious." The redheaded Amazon says, thrusting a glass of icy cold Coke to Kora.

Diana looks over toward the two, offering a wave to Kora. "Kora. You should come and meet Prince Thor, of Asgard. You will likely hear of his name quite a lot in the time to come." The Princess notes, with a glance toward Thor, "Kora is our youngest Amazon to join us from Themyscira since... Troia herself." She says, with a smile toward her sister then next.

Thor has posed:
"Midgard," Thor answers Donna after he smiles through her relation on the difficulties of dragons and robos and diplomatic demarcations. He lifts his chin and gestures to the side, "We are building the reception area here, so we need the artifacts from the others to guide the connections between realms, you see." Perhaps not realizing he hasn't already told Donna the actual thing that they are trying to do.
Though in that moment is when Kora likely emerges from the doors leading to the stairwell. It's a flurry of motion that's enough to draw the attention of the Asgardian as he offers greeting with an easily given smile and a hand lifted to wave. "Good day to you!"
Diana makes her inquiry and he gives a nod, "Not necessarily the Starport. Since it needs to be a place of power, somewhere the various..." He lifts a hand and waves it a little, "Ley lines, and focal points, and... magical attunements..." The words start to fade out, then he renews by changing his train of thought. "But yes! Things have changed, we move forward and Caitlin aids us."
He then falls silent as Kora is greeted and he rises from his seat to offer a smile and his hand. "Kora. An honor. Will you join us?" He asks as he sweeps a hand to the side and pulls out the remaining chair at the table.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna flashes Kora a grin and raises her own glass, to demonstrate to Kora that she's drinking the same thing. "If you haven't had Mexican Coke you have to try it Kora," she says. "I'm addicted to the stuff. Diana's fault, she introduced it to me. It tastes like regular Coke would taste if it was actually made from real ingredients rather than whatever strange alchemical concoction they normally make it from in America."

She tilts her head as a thought occurs to her. "You /have/ drunk fizzy soda before right?" Donna asks. "If not..it's an experience."

Once the greetings to Kora are done, she turns her attention back to Thor's project, frowning slightly. "I assume this would only work for people arriving from the eight other realms then?" she asks. "Creating some kind of resonant pathway that redirects trans-dimensional energies, a kind of grounding rod that would direct any... hmm... attempts to jump from other branches of Yggdrasil to this branch so that they arrive in a predetermined point? That sounds like a good idea. What happens if someone takes an irregular pathway though? Generally people moving from one dimension to another are going to take the paths of least resistance, the... fractures, I guess? That uses less magical power to achieve. But it's possible to create temporary portals that bypass those pathways."

"I'm no sorcerer, but I wonder... if someone does do that, it would probably cause... hmm... ripples in the natural interconnections. When we had those doppelgangers appearing, SHIELD developed a sensor that could tell when someone was crossing over, which worked somewhat along those lines. Perhaps as well as acting as a magical guide-path, the assembly of artifacts could be monitored for unusual resonances that would indicate someone making the same journey by other paths?"

Kora Ikassis has posed:
With a warm smile for Adrastea, Kora accepts the glass and holds it up to the light with a questioning look. She swirls the glass, enjoying the clink of ice, still a novelty for her and takes a sip. The bubbles fizzing off the surface make her crinkle her nose, "MMmmn, it tingles! Thank you, Adrastea."

Donna has anticipated her reaction and she flashes a smile to each of them for her their kindness. "Mexican coke?" That elicits a faint quizzical pinch of her eyebrows and she takes another sip. "Some fizzy water, yes. But not this."

Sea green eyes widen slightly at the introduction. Kora straightens her shoulders and nods formally to the Prince. Then, after a questioning glance to Donna and the Princess, takes the seat, murmuring her thanks, all too aware of being seated with her seniors. Glass in hand, she listens to the talk of magic and portals.

Diana Prince has posed:
Of course, Diana has a little grin show at watching Kora experience soda for maybe the first time there. "What did you say after you first tried it?" Diana asks of her sister to her right. "'It feels like there are ants in my mouth!'?" She paraphrases, with a quick laugh bouncing out of her there-after too.

Another sip of her water is had then, as Diana adjusts her stare to Thor next. "That does sound like a very complicated scenario to try and contain all the options of how one 'might' travel here between realities. But I suppose that if we can create a net to catch even -some- of them, then it is most assuredly worth the efforts. Plus, the Starport is ever inching closer to being ready to serve at full capacity, so having more potential avenues of visitation ready? Well... those who are serving there are eager for the activity, so to speak. How might we help though?" She then asks Thor after setting her glass of water back down upon the table's edge.

Thor has posed:
Adjusting his chair a little so he can more directly face the three of them now, he spares a smile for Kora. Thor then listens as Donna speaks and nods along at points, uncurling a hand as he says. "Indeed, we are starting with the Nine Realms though in the future it could possibly expand. It isn't a powerful connection requiring all travelers pass that way, as any sorcerer strong enough should still be able to surpass. But it is more for the usual peaceful travelers to bring them to a focal point ideally where matters can be addressed safely."
He crosses a boot over his knee and leans to his right, uncurling the other hand now as he speaks somewhat with his hands, "Though that is another facet, Caitlin spoke she wished to work on a broadening of a sensor or such that should aid in tracking other travelers. As Jane put it, we are in essence showing people the door we wish them to use, instead of everyone finding their own window to crawl through."
When Diana speaks, however, his eyes slip back to her and he listens. Then at the end he raises his chin, "Ah, as to that. It has come to my attention that there may actually be suitable resonant artifacts in Midgard. We found one in South America I believe. An old figurehead from an ancient ship. But there may be more and perhaps you and yours might be inclined to offer aid if it comes to it. Lady Sif and Queen Thea have been working on these matters somewhat."

Donna Troy has posed:
"Like ants fighting on my tongue," Donna corrects Diana, her eyes fixed on Kora as she tries the coke, face betraying some amusement. "It's fun. It's kind of like the bubbles hurt, but hurt in a good way."

"We have some fizzy drinks on Themyscira," she explains to Thor. "But only ones that are naturally fizzing. Much less carbonation than drinks in America. Cola is perhaps second only to ice cream of the things Amazons new to America learn to love about the place.

Thor's expansion on his scheme produces another thoughtful nod from Donna. "Yes, I'm not surprised Caitlin would think about that too. We've had a few troubles with dimensional travelers of late. Guiding them to a particular point of arrival would be useful, and perhaps warnings of those who do not tread conventional paths even more so. Do you have all the magical assistance you need for tuning purposes? The Titans have... significant magical expertise in that area. There are few beings in any world that understand the ways in which the borders between worlds can be breached than Raven."

Kora Ikassis has posed:
Kora discreetly tinkles her ice cubes and takes a larger experimental sip. "Ants don't taste as good," she decides. What Amazon child has not tasted an ant? Though she never tried a spider. Nodding, she smiles back at Donna, "They sting the nose. I like it."

Ice cream sparks another smile and a decided nod, but she lets the subject go, happy to return to it at a later time once their discussion of portals needing magical tuning is over. Settling back in her seat, she crosses her ankles under the table, her eyes flickering from face to face.

Diana Prince has posed:
"It certainly is one of the more ambitious projects I've heard anyone embarking on." Diana says after Thor, before she smiles once more toward Donna's words that were sent back to her. She just grins, before her eyes trail over to Kora again.

"ARe you going to work at that Forge still? For Mister Colborn?" The Princess enquires of the young Amazon. "His craftsmanship was certainly impressive." Diana notes, before glancing toward Thor, and Donna. "I have a sword downstairs that the man brought to display his talent. It really is quite a sight to behold, I am eager to learn a bit more about him too, in fact, should the chance come up."

"Donna, you should introduce Kora to some of the other Titans some time soon, I think she might get along quite nicely with many of them, if not more..." Probably not Raven, but she won't call her out by name!

Thor has posed:
Half-smiling at the others as the wonders of carbonated beverages are expounded upon, Thor says with a smile. "I cannot say I find the same joy. Though part of me wishes I could. It is enjoyable to live through another's experience such as good Kora's here."
He then answers the words given him about Caitlin and the offer of magical expertise he says, "We have two fine mages in the crafting of this effort. One is Lady Zatara, whom I have heard is quite exceptional. Then there is, of course, the good Doctor Strange who has been most helpful." The way he offers those names it's clear that he has high esteem for those two souls.
"Though if your comrades would lend their strength they would be welcome, assuredly." He gives a nod as he looks to the others as if seeking affirmation as to that sentiment.
When Diana compliments the project and its ambition he holds up a hand. "I had the merest skeleton of inspiration, the others who took up the challenge and ran with it? This is their work."
Yet the name Colborn catches him, "Ah, I believe I have met the man." He nods as he returns the looks from the others, "I have tapped him to possibly aid us when we travel to Nidavellir."

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna tilts her head towards Diana with an amused grin. "Poor Kora is still getting used to New York. I certainly intend to take her to see Titans Tower soon, but I thought it might be an idea to let her get a little more accustomed to the strangeness of Man's World before letting her see Terry and Gar in their natural habitat. We don't want our newest sister traumatized, after all." She grins wide in Kora's direction, indicating she's not being entirely serious.

"With Zatanna and Strange on board you probably have all the magical expertise you need then Thor," Donna says with a nod of approval, apparently sharing his esteem for the two. "But dimensional manipulation is Raven's specialty. So if you do run into any problems in that respect, let me know. "

"You mentioned something about suitable artifacts here on Earth though?" Donna says, tilting her head questioningly to Thor, prompting the conversation back to Thor's reason for the visit.

Kora Ikassis has posed:
Though raised by an Amazon mother who imbued her with the sense that everyone deserves equal respect, she does not expect Diana's kind attention to her progress as her due. She leans forward, and sets her Mexican coke on the table.

"I intend to. He is teaching me about the different styles of weapons he forges so that I can assist people who come to the shop. When there is no one, I have begun to help him in the forge."

The young Amazon nods several times at Diana's words,"The Princess has more knowledge of a good blades than I do. But they sing with beauty and strength, too. He would be glad to return to the Embassy, Princess. He says that he can be more himself around us."

As for Titans, Kora's gaze returns to Donna for she is indeed in the strangeness of Man's World. No longer theory. Why she even works with one several times a week and soon will be attending classes with them, but she has only just begun to not stare at their strangeness when out on the street. "I would be glad to meet them when you think it is time," she says simply.

Diana Prince has posed:
With a warm summer wind rolling over the rooftop seating area, Diana's long dark hair is cast across her face, until she reaches her right hand up to pull back the strands to tuck them back behind her right ear. She smiles toward Thor then, "It seems as though you have put out quite a net just to have the right people around you for this ambitious project. I will be eager to hear your opinion on this Blacksmith too, once you have spent some time together." She notes before glancing toward Kora. "Not to keep track on your business, of course, but he is an interesting man, I should say. Let him know he's welcome here too, if it helps him feel happier."

A quick laugh is sent to Donna then. 'Terry, and Gar, are wonderful... But yes, they are a bit of a soda drink themselves." She teases with just a small grin shown, since neither "We have to get you a driver's license soon too, Kora." Diana also says to the younger Amazon. "Gala will help with that also, but I will happily help you pick out a vehicle of your own to travel around town once you're ready." Is she offering to buy Kora a car right off the get-go? She didn't even do that for Cassie or Donna!
re here to truly enjoy chiding.

Thor has posed:
"Indeed," Thor says in answer to Donna's question, holding his hands up as if trying to encompass the entirety of the concep as he explains it. "What we seek, in main, are artifacts... not necessarily magical ones, but items or materials or what have you?" He lifts his chin and then rubs thumb and forefinger along his chin in that age old gesture to stroke one's beard though he does not have much beard for such a gesture.
"So long as they carry... a significance with each realm to in essence connect the two through them. For example, the one we gained from NorthFort in Asgard." He glances to Diana and Kora as if to see if they recognize the name, but he continues in any case. "It was a fragment of my great grandfather's shield, used in the defense of Midgard many years ago. Not enchanted, but storied."
Then as Diana rushes her hair back Thor smiles a little, lowers his eyes, then meets her gaze again as he murmurs. "If there is one thing I do passingly well, Lady Diana, is I can show enthusiasm for action even if it is not perhaps the most well-thought out action."
Though in that moment focus shifts to Kora and the prospect of her experiencing the new world. "And if you find yourself in the area, Lady Kora, you could stop by the Asgardian Embassy. We have three young visitors who are visiting Midgard who would likely enjoy your own unique point of view."

Donna Troy has posed:
"Archetypal potency," Donna suggests. "Artifacts that have meaning beyond their own substance, that resonate in some way with the world around them. That relate to the fundamental understanding that world's people have of the world within which they live. Such items, even lacking in their own magical potential, can be powerful channels for magical force."

"Apparently mundane items can become such artifacts of archetypal potency by being used in a sufficiently momentous event. For example Julius Caesar's sword. Entirely unmagical in itself, but it gained a magical potency due to the fact that he wielded while conquering half the known world. Four hundred years after he died, it was recovered by a warlord, and triggered a fearsome plague simply because it was being used as a weapon again."

"The most potent such artifacts are ones that have been the subject of mortal interest though. Hope, faith. Things like that. A few years ago I was involved in defeating a sorcerer who was planning to steal the Washington Monument. We founds plans in his lair for the things he was planning to steal after that -- Stonehenge, The Great Pyramid, things like that. We were never able to confirm exactly why, but Raven was convinced he intended to create a magical focus of incredible power."

"Mostly though I was wondering where he was planning to /keep/ them all. That would take quite some warehouse."

Kora Ikassis has posed:
At the prospect of navigating a car in New York traffic, Kora takes a deep breath and sets her mouth in a determined line. "I have a lot to learn. I think that driving the vehicle might not be so difficult...it is the other drivers. It might be like sailing a boat in a crowded harbor full of drunk sailors."

Kora drinks in the talk of magical object and objects of significance acting as receptacles for magic. "Some of Colborn's weapons seem magic to me," she says parenthetically.

When Thor proposes a visit to the Asgardian Embassy to meet other people her age and as new to New York as herself, he receives a bright smile and a nod, "I will do that, sir."

Diana Prince has posed:
"You are not wrong. The other drivers on the road, are the ones that you must worry about most." Diana replies to Kora. "Unless you are Cassie." She chides the Wondergirl who is also absent in the moment.

Diana's eyes shift over to Donna then, while she reaches for her water glass again. "Capturing wonders of the world of that scale, would suggest the sorcerer had some pretty immense power capabilities. Perhaps if they had the power to steal such items, they also had the power to store them in some kind of pocket reality." She muses before taking a sip from her water. "Still though, Donna, your grasp on world history impresses me ever so much. What all you have learned since coming from Themyscira... You have been a true information sponge in your time away from the island." She affectionately says to the Titans would-be-leader. "I just hope it didn't all come off of Youtube." She has to add with a grin for Troia though before she stands up and reaches for her cloak off the back of her chair.

"Thor... it has been a pleasure. I really would love to help with your project as well. Especially since it is so closely tied to the Starport. But in the moment, I need to check on a few things downstairs. You are welcome to stay as long as you'd like, the Bar inside is fully stocked too. I am sure the other Amazons would love to hear some of your impressive exploits." Diana says while laying her blue and gold cloak over her right armored forearm. She turns toward the interior doorways that lead to the staircases inside. "I'll be just downstairs if anyone needs anything." She notes to Kora and Donna too.

Thor has posed:
Laughing a little at parts of Donna's story, Thor shakes his head near the end at the idea of a man stealing all of those great works and wonders of the world, yet having nowhere to keep them. Which causes him to lift his head and give a few slow nods, "Indeed, that is part of one of our more challenging obstacles. Taking these items, storing them, then their home at the ritual site. It will take quite a bit of doing."
Thor refolds his arms over his chest as his eyes distance a little, then he looks back to Donna. "All we can do is keep advancing as we can, one foot before the other, and trust that these challenges will be addressed when they arise."
Then Kora voices her thoughts about Colborn's blades and Thor gives a nod, "It would not surprise me. He seems to have many talents, I hope that Eitri or Sindri will find him worthy when they meet him."
As Diana takes her leave Thor rises from his seat and makes that token step to the side to offer aid should she need it to rise. Though, of course, she does not. He gives a nod, "It has been, good day to you, Princess Diana."
That said he looks to the others and then retakes his seat. "So now that she has departed." Just before Diana enters the stairwell he says loud enough for her to hear, "Let us discuss how we shall bring about Diana's downfall." His eyebrows widen in mock evil glare and heaves a decidedly evil chortle, 'ho-ho-ho.'

Donna Troy has posed:
"I'd suggest a bike rather than a car," Donna tells Kora. Donna is a terror on a bike, or at least so her pillion passengers tend to complain, unless they are Cassie or a similar thrill-seeker. "As you say, it's mostly the other drivers you have to worry about. But you're an Amazon, Kora. Your reactions are much faster and more accurate than those of most people on the street. You shouldn't find it too hard once you get the general idea. It's a lot easier than riding a horse to be honest." Let alone a kanga!

Donna smiles at Diana and nods a farewell to her as she makes her way down into the embassy proper. When she's gone, she leans forwards conspiratorially. "Her weakness is Salty Pimp ice cream from the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop, Thor. If we leave a trail of Salty Pimp, she wouldn't be able to resist following it. We have the trail leading to a cardboard box turned upside down and balanced on a stick. She'll knock the stick over to get the last of the ice cream. We ensorcel the carboard box so that as soon as she enters it she believes she's a cat, so she'll stay inside the box and refuse to come out, as cats always do. It's quite simple."

Donna gives Kora a wink. Hopefully by now Kora will have got used to Donna's ways enough to know this whole thing is a joke without the need for the wink though.

"I have heard of this Colborn, but never met him. I'd like to sometime. Amazons all spend a bit of time working the forges. It's a fascinating skill. "

Kora Ikassis has posed:
If anything reminds her of her childhood on Atika, it is the banter between Donna and Thor. Unlike other Amazons, she did have her father in her life as a child. She remembers her parents voices in another room of the house, laughing and joking together over some jest her mother had made. The warmth of Donna's laughter brings that back.

She shares her wink with a smile and follows her out the door after nodding deeply to Thor.

Thor has posed:
Lips parting as Thor smiles, a silent 'ah' robbed of breath. Then his smile widens as he says, "I see, then this..." He clears his throat, coughs a little, covers his mouth with the back of his fist. Then he adds, "This particular flavor of ice cream." His eyes apologize to Kora for the words.
Then he looks back to Donna with his eyes brightening, "I find I cannot find flaw with your plan, Lady Troia. We shall embark on this task soon, I assure you."
That said he chuckles again and shakes his head, shooting a sidelong look at Donna as if to admonish her with that glance, despite the smile.
Then as Kora departs he rises as well and lifts a hand, "Do remember to stop by the Embassy should you so be inclined, Lady Kora. Until then." As he says that he nods once then settles back into his seat with a light thump.
A moment passes, then he tilts his head just so as he asks Donna...
"So what does this ice cream taste like?"
