Location:	Roof - Titan's Tower
Synopsis:	Mary and Kyani chat with Naomi and Kian about joining the Titans. No one said there'd be tests!

Mary Bromfield has posed:
It's been a few days since Thunderbolt (Mary to people in the know) helped Caitlin and Naomi deal with the apes and dinos breaking out of jail. Just another typical day in New York, right?

So, well, Thunderbolt was invited to visit the Tower, and her schedule was finally clear enough that she could take advantage of the offer. So flying quickly to Metropolis, the heroine's cape fluttering behind her as she pivots in the sky over the tower, coming in for a gentle landing.

Kian has posed:
    Kían is not looking towards Metropolis, or towards the land at all.  Sitting on a corner of the building, on the parapet, legs dangling over the edge,Kían is gazing out over the Atlantic, just enjoying the view.  You can see the other side of the lake on his estate back home... well, if you go up high enough, you can.  The ocean just seems to go on forever.
    As such, lost in thought, he doesn't expect the sound of a cape rustling in the wind, and automatically slips off, dropping out of sight... then reappearing up over the corner of the building, borne aloft on hawk-marked wings.  "/Ash'tái/?"
    He touches down lightly some distance away from Mary, having applied the same logic as when Cyborg returned -- the alarms aren't going crazy, so she must belong here.  Ultimately, he bows slightly.  "/Kié/."

Naomi McDuffie has posed:
For her part, Naomi is actually up here relaxing in the pool. She is wearing a simple swimsuit that is in gold with a briefs bottom and a sports bra style top. She is casually swimming back and forth when she hears both the arrival of a new person and the sound of Kian. She looks up with a blink from her spot in the pool and then swims to the edge. She pulls herself up and smiles before with a slap together of hands, she is transformed.

The burst of light leaves her in her super outfit as she looks at Mary, "Oh hi!" She smiles and floats over toward the girl, "Thunderbolt, right?" She then gives Kian a grin.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Kyani was also free to come to the Tower. Though being from New York, it didn't take him too much time getting to Metropolis. Having walked into the Tower and informing whoever was allowed to let him in, he explains he was invited by Caitlin and he shows the card he was given.

    He is informed that some members were on the roof and he is shown to the elevator and he takes it up to the roof. Once on the roof he blinks at there is so much up here, he walks over to where he sees a gathering of people here, "Hello." he says as he recognizes Thunderbolt, though he doesn't know who Kian is and he sees Naomi, "Naomi?" he asks curiously.

Mary Bromfield has posed:
Thunderbolt grins at Naomi, "Yes, from the bus accident a few days ago. Naomi, right?" She nods a bit, "Sorry I haven't been over sooner to say hello, but my schedule has been a little crazy the past few days."

Then she looks over at Kian, and blinks a bit at him, "Wow, I actually don't know what you're saying... you're not from around here?" She gives Kian a warm smile as well, looking very reassuring as she waves, "I'm Thunderbolt. It's nice to meet you." Then she looks over towards Naomi, adding as an aside, "The Wisdom of Athena, I can understand pretty much all human languages." When Kyani walks in, she gives him a friendly wave, "Hello again!"

Kian has posed:
    "Nnnh, sor-ry," Kían says carefully.  "I am still lear-ning Ing-lis.  Am not Ter-ran, am Akiár.  Am not ex-pec-t other up here."  Naomi's familiarity with the new arrival seems to help; he relaxes visibly.  And the other newcomer's familiarity with Naomi helps as well.  Rather than back up, he bows to him by way of greeting.  "/Kié/."

Naomi McDuffie has posed:
"You're doing really well, Kian." She smiles at him with a nod, "That was pretty good." She then looks over at Kyani with a blink and smiles, "Yep, that's me." She laughs a little and shrugs before floating to the side a little so she can be floating next to Kian, "So, pretty cool that you two got invited back to the tower. You two looking to become full Titans?" She asks of them and then looks to Kyani with a blink, "And you still don't have any kind of costume..."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Looking to Thunderbolt, "Nice seeing you again Thunderbolt." he smiles to her. He doesn't shy away from everyone, he smirks a little. "I didn't know you had abilities and he smirks at her a bit." he says. "You're fine man. As long as you continue to learn you will be fine." he says to Kian.

Mary Bromfield has posed:
Thunderbolt nods at Kian, "From another planet? That's very cool. I hadn't met an extraterrestrial before." She smiles, "I didn't exactly get a number, but Caitlin said to fly by sometime, so... here I am."

She then looks over at Naomi, "And yes, I would definitely be interested in joining the Titans, though I'm not entirely sure what that entails, honestly. But it would be something I'd like to do. I mean, work with people, as a team, you know?"

Kian has posed:
    Kían relaxes just a little further.  "Am not haf seen hyu and hye before," he says, nodding in turn to both Mary and Kyani.  "I am thin'k iss alone up here."  He shrugs; feathers rustle.
    He can' help but laugh, just a little, at Mary.  "I am not haf met a-li-en before either.  Iss all there iss, here -- iss all a-li-en, for me."
    He spreads and re-folds his wings on reflex.  "Iss also haf /rhy'thar/... nnh.  Iss also haf pow-er?"  He bites his lower lip, thinking."  "Is mus' haf, iss here."  He looks hopefully to Naomi.  "Yis?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Quirking a brow up at Kian, he smiles. "You're my first alien, but I don't want to call you that." he says simply. "How do I say your name?" he asks Kian. He looks to Thunderbolt as he hear her say she would like to join, answering Naomi's question. "I would like to join as well, I'm new to this hero thing, but it would be good to learn from others and have a team to actually work with. So yes, if the Titans will have us." he gestures to him and Mary.

Naomi McDuffie has posed:
A smile and she nods to Kian before she looks over at Kyani, "Well, I have abilities." She chuckles and shrugs before she looks over at Mary before shaking her head, "Hopefully you dont' have to go through what Kian and I had to go through." She then nods again, "Hopefully a bit more simple training and testing process." She then looks back to Kian and nods to him, "I'm pretty sure they both have rhy'thar." She nods her head and then glances over at Kyani again, "Well, not really my call. Not at all. I don't mind but it is up to the people who have been here longest."

Mary Bromfield has posed:
Thunderbolt smiles, "Powers? Well, I have quite a few of those." She looks a bit sheepish, "Sorry, I'm not used to talking about what I can do, but it's... well, a lot?" She tilts her head and looks over at Naomi, "But, well, whatever tests are needed, I'm more than happy to oblige." With that, she steps 'up' a bit, then hovers a little off the ground, just as a demonstration.

Well, that and the fact that she flew over here and all that.

Kian has posed:
    Kían laughs, and hops into the air, hovering effortlessly, then touches down again as easily as dismounting a staircase, nearer to Kyani.  "/Kían takh/," he says, then shakes his head.  "Nnh.  Am Kían."  He pronounces it carefully -- it comes out as KEY-ahn.  "Kían s'Kái'Erýn t'Káeh."  That was more a clatter of syllables; good luck parsing it.
    He glances back toward Mary.  "Thun-der-bol' iss, yis?" he asks, before returning his attention to Kyani.  "I am not haf hear name?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Well the cats out of the bag as Naomi tells him she has powers and goes about conversating. He shrugs a little, "Oh well. If you're not the one to talk to about enrollment, who can we talk to?" he asks her. Kyani rubs the back of his head as Thunderbolt speaks about her powers or just tell them she has quite a few. "My name is Kyani." he says to Kian. He listens carefully and repeats Kian's name back to him, "Nice to meet you Kian." He offers Kian an bow of his head to him. "Well I have speed, a lot of it and I can channel the lightning from my speed to shock or stun people when I fight." he says simply.

Naomi McDuffie has posed:
A smile over at Mary and she nods her head, "I kinda have a lot of powers, too." She shrugs, "Not really sure what the limits are but I do like it." She then looks over at Kian again, "I am not really sure about how to pronounce all that." She laughs, "I'm gonna stick to just Kian." She then looks again to Kyani and smiles at him, "I really am not sure. I mean, I'd think Donna might be a good choice. Maybe Caitlin? The girl who was with us at that fight against the dinosaurs and gorillas." She nods again, "That might be a good choice."

Naomi McDuffie has posed:
Naomi then blinks at the time, "Oh crud. I have to run. I promised my parents I'd come by and see them today!" She nods her head as she raises up, "And that's kinda in Oregon so...ya know. Gotta fly." She then waves at them, "Be safe!" She tehn flies straight up and spins once before she rockets off to the west, the popping blast of the sound barrier heard long after she's gone.

Mary Bromfield has posed:
Thunderbolt nods, "Well, I'm pretty strong, and invulnerable, too. But... um, yeah, still testing out what all I can do, honestly." She smiles and waves to Naomi as she goes, then hrms. "Though, I might need to get going soon myself, but I wouldn't mind coming by later for any testing or the like." She smiles warmly at Kian, "It was really nice to meet you." Then she offers a wave towards Kyani, "And good to see you again."

With that, she launches up into the sky, then zips off back towards New York, a crash of thunder echoing in her wake.

Well, that explains her name, at any rate...

Kian has posed:
    Kían watches Naomi and Mary go, with a slight shake of the head.  "Am can not un'er's'tan that," he says, flexing his wings slowly.  "Iss look not right, f'ly with no win's."
    He looks over inquisitively.  "Iss can f'ly too, hyu?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
    Kyani stretches a little bit, "That's pretty cool Thunderbolt." he says to her as she tells them what her abilities are. "I've only pushed myself once and that was during a race with Shazaam, and I barely beat him in that race." he says with a laugh. "I don't think I've gone that fast since." he chuckles. "Though honestly I've not needed to go that fast since." he tells them.

    As Mary starts to lift off the roof, "It's nice to have seen you again Thunderbolt, maybe we will run into one another again." he says to her. He looks to Kian. Trying to understand what he's saying, "Nope I can't fly." he grins. "But eh, it's all good, I enjoy running." With that, he begins running and with that lightning traces over him as he runs down the side of Titan Tower and begins running on water as he heads back to New York.
