Maximum Carnage - Kaine and Carrion
Date of Scene: 11 July 2023
Location: Manhattan - New York
Synopsis: Invincible and the Scarlet Spider face down Carrion. Kaine gets a semblance of revenge. And then the extra-dimensional SP//dr and it's two passengers show up and have a very rough introduction to this new reality.
Cast of Characters: Mary Jane Watson, Mark Grayson, Kaine Parker, Peni Parker
Tinyplot: Maximum Carnage

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
It is roughly mid afternoon on a bloody Monday. In the morning, the Klyntar merged wtih the serial killer Cletus Kassady broke free and has gone on a killing spree through Manhattan. Joined by numerous bad guys going on a rampage as well, splitting up. Various heroes were already going across town. Some villains had already been caught. One had been banished to hell. Too many others were at large.

In this case, it's over on a rooftop. Where a dull looking man that seemed to almost but not quite be a corpse was holding two homeless men, their bodies turning into husks as his form would glow.

Mark Grayson has posed:
"Here, officer. I found this one trying to mug a woman down in Harlem!" Dropping the villain he had captured and neatly wrapped a light pole around, the blue and yellowed costumed hero smiled widly at the police officer.

The police officer looks confused. "You're not Spider-Man. Or an Avenger. In fact, not sure if I ever seen you before."

Wow. Way to make a hero feel crest-fallen. However, he lifts into the air and puffs out his chest. "Hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more of me!" he declares as he introduces himself. "You can call me..."

INVINCIBLE

With a tip of his fingers against his brow, the hero launches into the air as Mark looks around to see where he can help next -- just in time to catch sight of that glow from a nearby building and he starts to head that way to see if he can be of assistance.

Kaine Parker has posed:
Kaine is walking down the sidewalk, his hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans and the collar of his jacket are popped up. The stolen golden framed aviator sunglasses obscuring his face further. He keeps looking down, trying to make himself smaller than he already is. Lithe yes, but small this Parker is not. His mismatched worn out shoes carefully don't scuff the sidewalk below.

The man hears the sound of screams in the air and frowns deeply, furrowing his brows behind the frames, and lifting a hand to brush his hair down before his face. The thing that truly surprises him is the lack of warning between his ears. "What tha-" Kaine asks no one before he ducks back into a nearby alley way.

Maybe observing from the shadows, maybe slipping on his costume. We'll see.

Moments later and two heavy THWIPS before the red and black streak zips out of the alley like a man sized bullet to land against the wall above the man sucking out the souls of the homeless. "Yo. What's up with you?" Asks the Spider-y-Man?

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
And there's CARRION< even as the men that he's absorbing the essence from both drop down. The screams go silent even as Carrion goes to turn to face the leaping Kaine. "Oh? Hello there, it's been such a long time." There's a twisted smile over on his face (his mask)? of definite recognition. "You know, I always did want to see how you were holding up. Time to play a bit of science and see what happens when the process has a little more acceleration added to it."
His hand goes forwards towards Kaine, intent on delivering a blast of some of that rotting touch that he could manage! Where it could touch flesh, it would start to dissolve and flay away! Even as he would go to try and make the tissue start to degenerate even faster! "So let's experiment. I always did love mixing work and fun." Said one failed clone to another.

Mark Grayson has posed:
As he takes in the situation, Invincible works on trying to figure out the situation. Two people in trouble -- that is his priority. But how is he going to get to them without drawing the attention of the villain. Fortunately, Kaine's arrival makes this a whole lot easier and allows the pieces to fall into place.

With Carrion focusing on the arriving Spider-Man???, Invincible sees an opening. Darting at the roof at near Mach, he tries to make his way to the pair of victims, or at least body the creature out of the way. "You know, you'd think that people would worry about the guy that can fly, but this /is/ New York." And he knows the Spiders here run wild.

Kaine Parker has posed:
"Whoa now. Bad touch. Stranger Danger." Kaine says, kicking off the wall with his feet, hands gripping the brick and causing him to roll upwards along the wall out of reach. "You." The red and black spider-man says with a snarl growing in his voice, the red lenses over his eyes squinting into tight slits of rage.

"YOU!" He shouts as his legs tense against the brick, the powers that keep him on the wall becoming the anchor point as his muscles tighten into a powerful living spring before he uncoils with super-human force. Both fists aimed in front of him as he falls and flies with huge speed towards the man who tortured Kaine for most of his short life.

"YOU'LL PAY!" Kaine screams with rage, fully ignoring the appearing Viltromite.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
As Mark goes to fly along towards hte duo, Carrion seems quite content! "Well, here's the thing. You're already coming apart at the seams, so I'm just going to accleerate it a bit!" Even as Kaine goes to charge over at him, and Carriong oes to quickly dart back! Before Kaine can effectively slash at him, Carriong oes to -PUSH- him away!

Something like bio-kinetics, even if he can't actually twist Kaine's flesh at a distance he can proverbially shove it away using just enough momentum to get out of the worst of the strike! What would be a killing or crippling blow instead just slashes out a chunk of a rib and pops down the middle!

Carrion screams in pain. Then is going to try and zot up and over right towards Invincible!

Mark Grayson has posed:
With Invincible sliding past just as Carrion and Kaine slam into each other, he realizes that's not a Spider-Man he knows. Instead, he makes his way over to the two homeless. Kneeling down next to them, he sees the subtle fall of their chests and moves to lift them.

In the position he's in, he doesn't see Carrion barreling down at him!

Kaine Parker has posed:
Missing with his double fist punch and being a rocket towards the ground, Kaine pulls his arms in quickly and tucks his head, hitting the sidewalk with his shoulder and rolling onto his back. With the momentum he's quickly back on his feet and turning to his side following Carrion's route.

"No. You don't get off that easy!" Kaine says, his fingers bending just right to shoot his webs from his wrists toward's Carrion's feet to try and 'lasso' the man's feet and pull him back towards Kaine. "You're fighting me. No one else!"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
What happens is Carrion colliding over into Invincible! Even as Carrion goes to quickly take a -blast- of life energy over from Invincible! The zot is enough to fix the worst of his broken rib as he would taunt, "Thanks, Idiot!" In a voice that Kaine knows and loahtes perhaps more than anyone or anything else in the world.

Then Carrion is trying to shove off Invincible over to have him smash over into Kaine! "Naughty naughty! Bad experiment!"

Mark Grayson has posed:
Just as Invincible is about to pick up the two homeless and fly off the roof, he feels a very cold grip on his body. As the life force is taken, it shreds the back of his uniform and he screams out in pain -- but Carrion may notice -- he's /not/ aging. The skin darkens, as if burned, but it's not growing wrinkled or anything else.

As he swings around to backhand at Carrion, the burst of strength that the villain shows surprises Invincible, isn't he like some old skeleton of a man and he finds himself flung towards Kaine. "Crapcrapcrap! Heads up!" he manages to shout out as he tumbles along the rooftop.

Kaine Parker has posed:
"Whoa!" Shouts Kaine as he has his line snapped by Carrion and then the man is getting powered by the young kid trying to help the injured homeless. That's just cheating.

Kaine snarls and starts to push his legs to rush after Carrion but just as quickly, the blue and yellow costume is tumbling through the air right at him.

"Crap." Kaine says, his senses flairing loudly like a siren but he can't move fast enough and so he braces, catching Mark heavily in his gut.

Falling to the ground in a heap, Kaine lifts the man and frowns behind his mask. "Get him or get out of my way." He says before shooting another webline out towards Carrion as he's lifting Mark up with a single steely arm.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Carrion is flying away, going at high speed. Well, for someone that can basically hover. It's not that hard for Kaine to get after him. Whatever there is about Mark's physiology is something that the scientist (admittedly what's left of it) in his brain makes a note to follow up on later. I Fonly as the boy might make for a very interestings nack and maybe even dissection.
With Kaine close behind him, the webline goes to snap on hard! Carrion's strong, but not super strong. Definitely not compared to an eneraged Kaine. He goes to struggle in place, his hands going on down towards the webbing to try an dpull hard at it! He's not going to succeed anytime soon.

Peni Parker has posed:
In an instant, the fabric of the universe tears a little. It's not a big tear, but it's enough for a couple strangers to slip through and get stuck somewhere they shouldn't be. The sound starts in one New York City but echoes in this one. Windows shatter. Drivers start crashing their cars into telephone poles. The sound is so loud that dogs don't even bother barking. They are too frightened.

For just a moment, an entirely different New York City can be seen through the jagged, spidery crack that splits the sky. A whirlwind of energy is released from the breach and rolls down the avenue, knocking cars and telephone poles to the side like they're nothing. The universe needs to make room for some new arrivals.

Eagle-eyed New Yorkers might catch a glimpse of two figures -- just tiny silhouettes against the city sky -- emerge from the tear. One of them falls towards the ground for a few seconds before it uses its momentum to change course and disappears over the horizon... The other figure is not quite so graceful. It appears to be a massive robot that's tumbling from the sky.

Inside the SP//dr armor, Peni Parker frantically taps her fingers against the buttons and touch screens that surround her. "I know, I know!" she shouts as she continues to acknowledge the red blinking buttons and swipe away the pointless pop-ups in her HUD. For every button she puts out, two replace it. Each popup she dismisses reveals the next one. Systems are failing left, right, and center. "No, no, no!" she shouts, sounding angry and annoyed about this, rather than fearful. But, she accepts what she must do.

    "Brace for impact!"

A nine-foot tall robot made of flowing red metal comes to a sudden stop and crushes a parked car under its massive weight.

Mark Grayson has posed:
The youth of Invincible is really starting to show here. He has very little experience in these type of battles, especially working with others. He makes a mental note to do more training with Peter. If he, you know, survives this. As Kaine throws him aside, and gives him the option, Invincible was about to turn his attention to the whole 'catch him' part of Kaine's order.

Just in time for the universe to split open. Usually, when that happens near Invincible, it is bad news (tm).

He rockets forward, grabbing the two homeless and alters his flight trajectory to take the pair of them to a nearby ambulance. "Take care of these two." he says to the EMTs that were just having a coffee break.

With that, he turns to start to race back towards the scene of the battle -- and where that big robot fell. "Please don't be Flaxans..."

Kaine Parker has posed:
He was just about to flex and toss Mark off of him, but thankfully the kid got the hint and was flying away at one hell of a speed. "Damn." Kaine says in soft admiration before he gets that sense in his head again. "Oh no." As he looks up, and starts to contort his body, twisting and turning using the webline as leverage to spin slightly and dodge the incoming glass from the windows above.

As he's holding on and tensing his body to try and protect his vitals with a hand over his head, the glass bounces mostly harmlessly off is skin, a few knicks and cuts here and there, but the one that pisses Kaine off more is the webline is severed. With Carrion no longer teathered, Kaine's body hits the pavement and he groans in pain. "You. Stay here. I'll deal with you later." Kaine says with a bloody finger pointed up to the robot before it's aimed towards Carrion, "I have some revenge to enact first." And with that, he TWHIPS onto both knees of the bot and uses them as a sling shot to catapult himself between it's legs. Speeding through the air, maybe a foot off the ground as he reaches back to put all this speed and his strength behind a punch at Carrion.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Here's our recap of events, true believers! A breach in space time has broken and send Sp//dr and it's pilot hurtling down with a sonic BOOM to land hard over on top of a car! Alarms are going off as every single siren over a block starts wailing! Invincible has just left two barely conscious homeless men over with the emergency responders. Kaine is latching HARD onto Carrion with intent to maim and murder. To this strange new world.. Or by the standards of Peni, same new world.

Where does Kaine's sense of obligation lie? To revenge? To that small bit of release of anger? Or to duty and saving people? is that where those genes of his genetic progenitor lay? It is not an either-or proposition. But which will Kaine prioritize?

Then Kaine is giong to charge over towards Carrion. Towards the clone of Miles Warren. THe man that made and cloned him. And the fist is going in at full force. The full force of the blow is unavoidable to Carrion as it hits him in the center of the chest.

And goes out the other end of it. A Spider punching at full strength is a terrifying, terrifying thing.

Peni Parker has posed:
Shockingly, the robot landed in one piece, now lying motionless on top of the twisted metal that was once a Honda Civic. No one was inside, thankfully, and most clever New Yorkers take out insurance policies for this kind of thing. No harm done. The robot shows no signs of activity. It could very well be an elaborate piece of industrial art. No sound. No motion. Nothing.

Inside, though, is a completely different story.

Peni Parker groans. What the heck just happened? The interior of SP//dr would be pitch black if not for the various computer systems using their last remaining cycles to tell Peni that they're done for. These electronic cries for help on the digital displays cast blue and red light across Peni Parker's porcelain face. She doesn't move at first, but you can't keep a soldier down for long. Peni groans again.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. Are you okay?" she mutters to someone. To no one. That was a pretty hard fall. Peni's hand slowly rises to rest against a thick plastic button on the console. It's gently blinking -- red, of course -- and is protected by a metal cap to prevent accidental presses. She jams her thumb into it.

    System Reboot. Two percent.

    System Reboot. Nine percent.

Mark Grayson has posed:
As Invincible was rocketing to intercept Kaine and Carrion -- he's too late. Kaine is there first and Invincible gets a front row seat to the Spider-Person punching his fist clear through Carrion, in one side and out the other. Surprisingly, perhaps, the young man isn't in shock or surprised. He doesn't even scold Kaine for what he's done.

He's someone that's already seen enough death to become numb towards it.

There's only a shake of his head before he turns to rocket towards the giant robot on top of the car. Approaching it, he realizes it's not moving. So, he does the only thing he can think to do at this point. He balls his hand into a fist and it comes forward...

Knock, knock, knock.

"Anyone in there?"

Kaine Parker has posed:
The fist through the man is easier than most people might think it is. Especially if you can slip below the ribs and the spine, where it's just organs, but that's not where the punch is. It's higher, between the lungs. Gross. Hot. Wet.

Standing over the slumped body, and lifting his left hand to pull his right arm back through with a unhealthy schlup. This is where his mind wants to say some quip. Make some comment. But he refrains.

Turning to watch Mark fly over to the robot that he had used as a spring board esentially, and with the viscera and blood all over his right arm, Kaine looks down at his hand, and then back towards the blue and yellow. "You need help over there?" He asks, cuping his mouth with both hands, mindful to not touch his face.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Peni's system is rebooting. There's Kaine with blood and guts going down his hand. And now he's fist to face with.. Whom he thought it was. Just more wrinkly. Old. Warped. Mutated. Had he experimented on himself and gone too far? Gone insane? Or had something worse been done to him? Was that a mystery that Kaine even cared to follow up on? Perhpas. Perhpas not.

But come the morrow and him finding Miles Warren still around, no worse for wear would probably take away any short term sense of catharsis he has from where that fist had gone in a moment of revenge. No cops are remotely taking a step towards him - they don't even have guns drawn. They had just seen what Carrion had done to the homeless.

Peni Parker has posed:
System Reboot. Forty percent. As the cold reset of SP//dr's main systems continue, Peni begins getting everything ready for action. It might resemble haphazard button taps, finger swipes, and the imprecise turning of dials, but there's a procedure for this. Each system needs to be brought back online, along with its sub-systems, one-by-one, and in the correct order. One wrong move, one slip of concentration, and the whole thing is ruined.

"There!" Peni exclaims as she hits one key on her keyboard with some extra enthusiasm.

The cockpit of SP//dr fills with the sounds of Rick Astley.

~~ We're no strangers to love ~~ ~~ You know the rules and so do I...~~

"What!" Peni cries out. "Oh, gross! Oh, come on! You said you weren't gonna do that again!" Peni's now working the controls with both hands without even missing a beat. She's done this reboot procedure a million times in the simulator and twice in the field. It's the second time she's done it while being rick rolled. But by who?

    System Reboot. Seventy percent.

As Mark knocks against the armor, the robot's almond eye shapes fill with dull, yellow light. SP//dr's optical systems come back online, finally...

...And Peni Parker's screens fill with images of Mark Grayson and she's not expecting it.

"Ahhh!" she cries out. It's just the shock of everything reactivating like that. A switch is flipped on the communication panel.

~~"Please back up immediately."~~ The voice that comes out of the armor is synthetic, as though it has gone through signal processing. It's not clear whose voice it is. It sounds vaguely feminine.

Mark Grayson has posed:
Outside of Sp//dr, Invincible is close enough that with his enhanced hearing, he hears the faint 'We're no strangers to love'...

"Is the robot Rick-rolling me?" he asks noone in paticular. As Kaine gets closer, Mark holds out his arm to the side, hand opened as he floats in mid-air. "Let's not start with ripping it open?" he suggests.

After Peni gets an eyeful of Invincible -- at least it wasn't his bare back from where Carrion ruined his suit, the mechanical, almost digitized voice, he floats backwards several feet. "Can you get up on your own. Kind of on your back. And I don't think acts of falling robot is covered under that guys insurance."

A gesture to the car that Peni crushed.

Peni Parker has posed:
Peni sighs, even rolls her eyes a little. It's truly a tragedy that she can't make the SP//dr eyes do that on the outside. "Are you new in town? They can just call the Oscorp Binding Arbitration Hotline and get it covered," SP//dr reminds Mark. At least, that's how it works back in /her/ New York City. Which, of course, is where she is, right? She reaches up and flicks a couple switches in the overhead panel, answering Mark's question about her ability to move. SP//dr's autopilot feature has been armed.

Slowly, SP//dr rises from its fallen position. Instead of moving with the grace and speed that would be necessary for hero work, the robot rises slowly and with expert precision. Peni, meanwhile, reaches into a refrigerated compartment and produces an ice cold can of soda. Pttsssttttt. She opens the can and takes an enthusiastic sip that transitions into a thirsty chug.

    System Reboot Complete.

Peni's control of the SP//dr armor returns completely. Suddenly, the robotic, calculated, artificial movement of getting up is replaced with fluid, human-like motions. SP//dr turns a little, going through the full range of motion with its limbs. As it pivots at the waist, the SP//dr emblem is revealed: a large, black spider etched onto its back.

Mark Grayson has posed:
"Yeah. Don't think you noticed the dimensional tear you came through." Invincible retorts. As he continues to float backwards, he takes a quick fly-around of the robot to make sure there's no further damage to the area -- or the robot. That's when he notices the spider mark.

Oh. Oh dear.

"Give me a moment..." he comments as he takes out his phone and scrolls through his contacts.

> Dad
> Eve
> Mom
> Spider-people.

He tries Peter first -- after two rings, he gets the Spider-Man voice message hotline. "Dammit." he mutters, before trying the next number down. Not that he expected that it would lead to the voicemail of a young woman and he pauses for a moment, caught off-guard. "U-uh, yeah. Hey. This is Invincible. I'm a friend of Spider-Man's. Sorry to bother, but I'm down in midtown and there's a giant robot with a spider symbol on it's back. Can you get in contact with him or send someone out to help it. It's from... way out of town."

Disconnecting the call, he turns his attention back to the robot. "You got a name?" he asks curiously.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
This has not been a great day. Carnage on the lose. Peter and Gwen in the neighborhood. Cyber-Spider. Miles. Here's Mary Jane now in her full SHIELD getup, part of a team called in by Quiet. Most of the people in her life are here this Monday afternoon. There she is, in full combat getup, huge basterd sword on her back in a sheathe, having been running through Manhattan to wherever they got the recent reports in.

So when she gets a text it takes a bit for her to respond - first she has to realize it's not from ehr SHIELD-phone, it's not from Aunt Anna or May.. It's that ring that's from one of Peter's friends and allies. So she goes to fumble through her phone about ten minutes later after having heard the ping after the fact and goes to reply. It takes her a moment get the phone, remember who Invincible is.. And call back. And ring..

"Uh.. Just how giant a robot are we talking about? On my way." She's too late to catch the sight of Scarlet-Kaine slinging away in the opposite direction. And given the noise going on in the background she doesn't necessarily know if her call got through or was picked up. So there she arrives, a short time later and not panting.. In time to see the nine foot tall or so robot with Invincible nearby. Huh.

Least it's not made out of clockwork or fifty feet tall.

Peni Parker has posed:
<What? Are you for real? We are SP//dr. We protect the city.>

Peni turns her head, as though facing someone else inside the suit. "Can you believe this guy? 'Got a name' he said..." she repeats with a little laugh.

SP//dr's knees flex a couple times, giving the robot a moment where it's bouncing up and down. It's a movement that robots don't do. It's a movement reserved for people who have sore muscles. Robots don't.

"What do you mean, 'don't be rude?' How am I being rude? .... Oh, oh, right.."

SP//dr's head tilts down to look at Mark.

    <Do /you/ have a name?>

"How's that?" Peni asks, shrugging her shoulders. She takes another gulp of her soda. Gulp. .... "Did he say---"

    <Did you say dimensional tear?>

When Mary Jane shows up with her giant sword, SP//dr doesn't turn its head to face her. It doesn't need to. Inside, Peni is tracking MJ's movements. "Oh....Okay..." she mutters. A two-on-one ambush. Well, two-on-two, really, but that's besides the point. SP//dr's arms extend outward, each of its hands now bent at the wrist. One is pointed at MJ and the other is pointed at Invincible.

    <That's close enough. Don't get any closer.>

Those with super hearing might catch the sounds of SP//dr's internal web compressors kicking into gear.

Mark Grayson has posed:
"Invincible." he responds. "I told you mine, now tell me yours." And just then, his phone goes off.

Oh, darnit! "About nine ... oh you're here!"

Mark waves towards Mary Jane -- just as SP//dr aims at both of them. "Whoa whoa, we come in peace." he comments, his hands up in defense as he glances towards Mary Jane. "Hi." he greets quickly.

"Do you have this? I can back up a little. First contacts... kind of are not my thing." Ask the Flaxans. He flies back a little further. Not far enough away that he can sweep in to grab Mary Jane if SP//dr was to attack, but far enough to hopefully not be a threat.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Her hands are up and out in front of her as Mary Jane goes to likewise hold them up and into the air, noting over at SP//dr. "Please, identify yourself. I am Agent Watson, member of SHIELD, the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division." Her hands are held still and up to make sure that they're not seen as a threat.

"If you permit it I can reach down and get my identification for you to review my credentials." She had thought she heard the phrase 'dimensional breach' but it probably was best to -not- use that in her opening.

Then again leading with her being a member of a spy organization might not be the best way to earn trust either - it could make the situation a lot worse depending on the end of the spectrum where SP//dr came from. Something which seh thought a bit too late to be of any use after the words were said.

"And do you mind if we move a bit to the side? I don't want to block traffic in case emergency vehicles have to go by."

Mark Grayson has posed:
While Mary Jane is handling the contact, Invincible gets a call over his communicator. "There's a couple of Carnage's cronies a couple of streets over attacking a pizza joint. I need to get over there. 9-1-1 me if the SP//dr gives your trouble!"

And with that, he rocks off, keeping under Mach 1 to not cause more damage with a sonic boom.

Peni Parker has posed:
"'Gives her trouble?'" Peni repeats, squinting a little. "What does he think..." She trails off. The spider knows what she's trying to say. They share a mind, after all.

    <Look, I don't have time for this. I've got --->

Peni now realizes that there hadn't been any response from the SP//dr's mayday signal. Nothing. Highly unusual.

<Look, I don't have time for this. If you have a problem, you can talk to the project leads at Oscorp. May and Ben Parker.>

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane keeps her hands up and over in the air, and then her expression softens. That confirms it. "I'm sorry to inform you that Ben Parker is dead, and has been for several years. May Parker has never worked at Oscorp. I know her very well, she's the aunt of my best friend. She makes the best wheatcakes and oatmeal cookies. I had some of them a couple of days ago." This is spoken in total sincerity.
If the girl knows ~a~ version of May Parker, hopefully that's enough. And Mark wasn't kidding when he said 'not from around the neighborhood'.

Peni Parker has posed:
    Ben Parker is dead? False.

May Parker's wheatcakes are good? Also false.

Peni Parker stares at the screens and readouts, listening to the beeps and boops of the Spidey Sensors reacting to the changing environment. For a while, she remains silent. She doesn't even talk to the spider. Just, nothing.

Peni's only response is typing away at the controls. Google is a dot com in this universe, but it doesn't take long for Peni to find it. Ben Parker. Deceased. ...

    <I don't have time for this.> SP//dr repeats. <I gotta...>

There's a hint of static from the voice modulator. It could be a malfunction. It could also be emotion.

    <I gotta go.>

SP//dr suddenly leaps into the air and, like all of the other Spider Persons, fires a web line from its wrist. It may be a 900 lb robot, but it moves with the same fluid grace that Mary Jane has no doubt seen before. After a moment, SP//dr is web slinging down the street, heading in the direction of Oscorp's New York City offices. Quickly.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
And there she is! There's no /way/ that Mary Jane can keep up with the girl. If she even knew where she was going. Mary Jane goes to swear in her voice, snapping out with the Spider-List to try and scroll rapidly down the contacts list to send out an alert.. Even as she sends along pictures o fthe girl. And tries to figure out how to keep up with her through the maze that is New York traffic when she can't remotely keep up with her slinging several stoires up through the air. And she has her won crisis of events here..
As in the distance, sirens wail over and a creepy, feral laugh of shrieks plays. It's just a bloody Monday afternoon. Full of chaos.. Carrion.. And Carnage.
