The Way of the Hegemony
Date of Scene: 02 January 2024
Location: Planet.. uh.. somewhere in the Milky Way?
Synopsis: The unexpected journey to an unknown planet ends in a battle to free the people from a Hegemony ship and its captain Gn-Ga. Using Singularity to get back home, they now know more about the threat than before.
Cast of Characters: Alura In-Ze, Monet St. Croix, Clark Kent, Singularity, M'gann M'orzz, Lois Lane, Conner Kent

Alura In-Ze has posed:
[Continuing on from +scene 16419]

The villagers do not have a lot. Crops mostly. The occupation was bleeding them dry. Literally in some cases. Standing at the apex of the ship - a large point that opens up near the ground and extends far up in to the sky casting a shadow over one quarter of the village - is a very big looking robot.

The robot looks familiar to those who were at the battle of New Krypton. It's 13 feet tall, one of the little ones, and made of a composite material unidentifiable to human sciences thus far. Batman has been working on it.

It has a T shaped eye on its head that glows red hot - a heat ray not unlike Kryptonian heat vision. Not as powerful, but just as deadly. Especially against the spears and arrows of these poor people.

Disguised as locals with clothing and telepathy the group had joined the queue and now they were near the front of it. Passing under the shielding they have entered the vulnerable underbelly. At the center is an anti-gravity field pulling stuff up and in to the ship cargo hold.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would take her time and glance up over at the ship tractoring things in. For those that had not been present in the earlier melee, Monet would be sharing details along the telepathic information network to the rest of the group. What they knew of the robot's abilities, weaknesses, and reaction times. Working with M'Gann to maintain the illusion while also sweeping about. The minds of the locals were likely easy to pick up.

She had picked up at least one member of the Hegemony as they had carefully advanced, not pushing deeper given the willpower they had all displayed. Not wanting to risk them noticing the group. She strides along, hunched over to make herself stand out less. Even as she scans the area, using her slightly enhanced senses to try and pick out more possible threats.

Clark Kent has posed:
Superman was present. His arms were crossed across his chest, and his eyes were solemn and concerned. Right now he was floating above the deck, a sure sign he was upset or worried or both. Right now he was quiet, letting everyone else do their jobs, and they were very good at their jobs.

His clothing hid his cape, his costume, and most importanly - that "S". His hair was perfect, and his frown was revealing. It was almost time.

Landing, Clark sends a side-glance at the robot which deepens his frown. Whispering... "Alura, this is not going to go well. I am not one for covert Ops."

Singularity has posed:
Having been friends with Kaida Connolly, Singularity had finally figured outy what she needed to do in order to disguise herself in order to hide with the others. A shape change had gone into effect, and the tinyverse had compacted earlier, roughtly taking on the same shape and size of a six-inch tall action figure.

Hidden amongst the fabric on Lois's outside, her hands grip the edge of the pocket so she can peer out, her white eyes watching warily. While telepathic communications with her can be flightly at times, the pair of telepaths should be able to hanle her with ease should she need to communicate.

She is about as convert as a universe can be at this point.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
M'gann keeps up the illusion as they approach the ship, ensuring the group looks like any other group of 'tribute' being offered up to the ship. Keeping the truth of the group cloaked, at least for the moment. Trying to ensure nobody's appearance of abilities are noticed. Just an average group of locals!

<<We will not be covert for long, I expect. Once we're inside the ship, it will be time to fight our way through the robots and other servants, to the Kryptonian on board. He is strong enough I am unsure if the illusion would hold long anyways.>>

Sent along the telepathic network she and Monet maintain for the group, M'gann looks to the anti-gravity field, motioning to it. <<I imagine that is the fastest way aboard without causing alarms to sound. Once within, I don't think that will matter.>>

Lois Lane has posed:
A certain reporter was here the whole time? Yes, cause Lois Lane is simply ninja like that. For the most part, she's been remaining inconspicuous, simply narrating what's been happening thus far on the trip into one of her recorders in a whisper.

But when they have to truly be incognito, she stops, instead using her thumbs furiously on her phone to at least type up what she's seeing, hearing, and doing. It's not as efficient but it helps.

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner has been oddly quiet so far (or maybe learning to be a ninja from Lois!). But now he mutters something about the Green Lanterns leadership being amazingly incompetent, for this kind of thing be happening under their watch. Blue gnomes are not his favorite aliens.

"If they scan what they pick, they are going to notice outright. Unless Miss M and Just M can trick their minds quickly," he notes. "Do you think they Hegemony Kryptonians are all powered up?"

Alura In-Ze has posed:
Alura nods in agreement with M'gann, "The moment we're inside that ship we can dispense with the pretence Superman." She keeps cautiously eyeing the robot. Each one of them, bigger and smaller models, was a heck of a fight even for Kal and Alura. There'd be too much collateral fighting it here - and the ship might simple leave and close up its shielding hole.

"I don't know Conner. They defeated the Lanterns in their timeline. They destroyed the Oans. It's possible they are each as powerful as Superman. Given this is the closest we've gotten to meeting one of them - perhaps we can reason with them."

She doesn't sound too sure about that but it's worth trying if they can. As the group approaches the anti-gravity zone the robot looks at the group and their 'tribute', of which there is none. The robot says in Kryptonian, "Tribute required."

Alura considers their options. If they're about to lose the element of surprise anyway perhaps it's worth getting that threat away from the villagers. "See you all on board..." she states and in a blur she crosses the field to the robot and crashes in to it, arms wrapped about its thick torso. Then, she flies up and in to the field, yoinked up inside the space ship with the robot.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would muse telepathically along the network <<We can keep it up readily, but likely not past non-sentient security. I'd expect their scanners are thorough, and even if we can block awareness initially, alarms will be more than we can stop them noticing>> She agrees with M'Gann as the group goes along, and the consensus is as they go up that they'll be breaking out shortly.

As 'Tribue' is announced like they're participants in the Hunger Games, they spring into action (or fly).

She senses upwards, going to confirm the location again of the Hegemony soldier she can detect. <<Up there>> She leaves if any attempt is to be made at telepathically attacking them to M'Gann while she focuses on coordinating the group.

Clark Kent has posed:
Clark looks back at all present, and almost smiles. His eyes glance at everyone...Conner, a note of pride there. Monet. The same. Hearing her voice in his head, he checks in with a mental salute.

Lois...he blinks. His feelings were pressing down, deep in his chest. Wrenching his eyes away, he next looks at M'gann. Glad she was here. Her power was vital to their success. Singularity. Glad she could be there to help protect...well, all of them.

Last. Alura. Listening to her briefing everyone, he nods in agreement with her. "Stay true to yourselves, and we'll get through this...together." His confidence was there once more.

"I'm with you ALura." Clark whispers. "Once more..." And they were off! His speed matches Alura's as the "kid gloves" were off. No pulling any punches. It was exhilirating. And scary.

Singularity has posed:
So much for being in disguise for long! With the announcement of Tribute, coupled with Alura and Clark racing up into the ship, Singularity considers her options. She cannot fly as fast as the two Kryptonians. She is well aware of this. But, what she can do...

Exploding from Lois' pocket and expanding, Singularity wraps around Lois protectively. "Safe!" she promises the reporter as she engulfs her and pulls her within.

Inside Singularity, Lois will find herself within the universe. It's a stark space. There's no up or down. You're just there. Inside the infinite cosmos that makes up the small universe shaped as a woman.

At least until another Singularity pops into being next to her. "You. Are. Safe." she announces as she opens herself slightly so that Lois can see what's happening.

Locking into the unique signature that Alura is, there's a moment's thought and then... she starts to spin up to teleport. Lois will find herself reduced to atoms as Singularity moves, travelling faster than the speed of light, and /blips/ between the ground and *POP*s into being at Alura's location before reforming.

And while it is Singularity just standing there for a moment, unless there is immediate danger, she folds back down on herself to return to Lois' pocket, giving her the freedom to move again.

Conner Kent has posed:
"We could also just charge forward, of course," because, damn robots, too hard to trick quickly. Conner follows Alura into the spaceship, "it is usually my style, but that ship... you know, bad feeling about this."

Someone had to say it.

"Perhaps we can reason with them," he agrees in a rather disagreeing tone. Space fascist don't seem very reasonable people, and they already oppressing anyone they meet. They need a good beating.

Lois Lane has posed:
Type type type! If Lois notices Clark's or rather Superman's glance in her direction, she makes no indication of it. Instead, she furiously types away at her phone.

/Our heroes discuss a brief plan of action. The enemy had hand is clearly dangerous, having defeated the likes of Green Lantern and his ilk before. Would the combined efforts of the Justice League be enough?/

The sudden protective field around her causes her to blink for a few moments. It's a strange experience for sure, so what is a reporter going to do? She types into her phone some more!

/As I watched them start the mission, Singularity, an anthropomorphic universe, wraps me in her body? Her universe? It's a strange feeling, feeling separated from all that I know, as I have yet to determine whether not the physics of her universe is the same as ours. So far I haven't disintegrated or turned into anything odd, so that's good.//

Once she's finished typing, she does look in Clark's direction. It's timing really, when she has a look of concern sent his way, and even mouthing 'good luck', it all happens when he's looking elsewhere. Dangit!

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
M'gann debates for a brief moment... she has The Rules for a reason, but sometimes it's necessary to bend them in order to help others. This may be one of them. Sending out a telepathic broadcast targeting the local population near the ship, she tries to get them out of the way and back to their village. <<Return to your homes! No more tribute!>>

Now that everyone is boarding the ship, she doesn't bother to keep up the illusion beyond everyone being sent up into the ship. Once the fight is engaged, the illusion will fall away to leave everyone looking, well, as they are.

She'll phase herself up into the ship and immediately set about scanning for the Kryptonian they had located in the ship, keeping a pinpoint on his location and making sure to broadcast that to the others in the group. No getting surprised, at least, not by the Hegemonic Kryptonian!

As for M'gann, well, Martian Martial Arts are an interesting sight to see. Morphic abilities allow her to engage foes on multiple fronts, creating extra limbs or turning them into blunt or edges weapons as needed. It can be a little.. disquieting.. to watch the young 'woman' shift through forms that bear no resemblance to anything even remotely human-looking as she flies forward to engage any potential threats.

Alura In-Ze has posed:
Not being the first time they've had to fight one of these robots, Alura and Clark get the better of it in its moment of surprise. Slamming it in to the floor as gravity flips on them. What was once the side is now the floor. Alura rips off the head as it starts to power up and she leaves the crystal inside for Clark to crush.

She takes stock of the space they're in. It's a large hanger with fighter craft she's never seen before parked up against one side. A row of manufacturing machines designed to make the likes of that robot en masse. The storage area being tended to by Kelex like robots who aren't paying attention to them are sorting the tribute. Food to one side, weapons and other curiosities in an uninterested heap on the other.

The Kryptonian in the bridge looks at the internal feed of intruders and hmms softly. Confident he can take them, he closes up the shield hole and the ship starts to lift up and away in to the sky headed for space.

"Right - on board this ship are prisoners in pain." She looks to M'gann since that was what she discovered, "And on the bridge is a literal space fascist." She nods her head, "And finally - the computer systems. We have a unique opportunity to learn a lot about the Hegemony right here and now. The moment this ship is in space the people of this world are safe. We rescue the prisoners, capture its captain, download their mainframe, scuttle the ship, then teleport back to Earth via way of Sing."

Singularity has posed:
Once the battle is joined by the Lois/Singularity conglomerate, Lois Lane gets a front row seat to watching Alura, Clark and the others fighting. Singularity is not a close range fighter. She floats back, firing blasts of radiation from her hands, trying to find the right one that damages the robots the best. Despite being able to cycle through every kind of energy that is - she settles on Electromagnetic blasts, as those seem to work the best for robots, in her own limited experience.

With there being a break in the action, Singularity will tenatively release Lois if she wants as she listens to the plan of action. When she's mentioned, the young universe smiles brightly. "Already have a lock on home!" she announces cheerfully, ready to teleport everyone home when the time comes. But for now? She's in a fighting stance, because she's still wary of the situation.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix goes to focus, moving to confirm where the prisoners are as best she can over on the ship to share with the others. "I'll go help with the computer systems." She's passable in Kryptonian, and has some level of computer experience from time spent with Kitty, but she's no hacker. But hopefully the Hegemony is as arrogant as fascists are. That they won't be even thinking that someone could break into their ship so their security will be minimal. Also presuming that the heavy hitters will be going to hit the Hegemony soldier to dogpile them to make sure they can't fight them all off. She'd read the reports of the fight with Omni-Man.. She knows the threat of a heavy hitter going all out and that knows how to fight with their powers can be.

Taking the location of where the computers are, then heading int hat direction while also helping to maintain th mental network, and leaving M'Gann to be able to focus on offensive operations.

Lois Lane has posed:
ZOOORP! That's the sound she hears when she's sucked into Singularity once more. It's a surreal experience going from one universe to the other, and hopefully that continued exposure to whatever happens to be inbetween doesn't suddenly give the reporter powers or something.

From her relative safety, Lois starts to narrate what's going on with a bit more detail now. Simply speaking into a recorder instead of typing into OneNote is soooo much easier.

Conner Kent has posed:
"Just robots and one bad guy?" That seems almost too easy. Then again, it is a large ship and there might be many, many bots. "Where are the prisoners?" He asks M'gann, "I'd like to make sure they are okay, in the case the ship's captain hits the red button before we beat him. Hmm," he glances at Singularity, "could you teleport them back to their planet is Miss M finds them? It would be best if they are out if Superman has to super-fight him all out."

He is also aware of what happens when two or four powerhouses need to go all-out regardless of the environment.

Clark Kent has posed:
Superman was happy to hear Singularity's words - plus taking care of Lois, at the same time he smiles at Conner's words. "Indeed..." He whispers to himself, agreeing with Conner.

Looking back once more in Lois' direction, his eyes catch hers, and they communicate a lot in that split second. "Good luck."

Tearing his eyes away, Superman watches as M'gann does her thing. With a sardonic look, he shakes his head. "Now that was a useful power...phasing."

Clark looks at the crystal in his hand right before exerting all his strength on it, crushing it into its component atoms. Flash, and he was there. "As Alura says. Take it." His concern...he prisoners. Ripping into the "cell block" Superman was freeing everyone there, not letting anyone...or anything...stop him.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
With that robot dealt with, M'gann looks to Alura, "The crystal is their battery? Without it, they cannot function?" She has a very specific reason for asking these questions, one that may make taking over the ship easier for the group. She'll also note, "The Other Kryptonian has initiated launch, we head for space. He remains on the bridge."

Conner's question has her nodding and scanning the ship for prisoners, whether locals from the planet below, or other beings taken from other worlds. Anyone forced into servitude or being kept captive. "They may not all be from this world, and there are other ships in the hangar if need be." After a pause, she asks, "How refined is your telekinesis?"

At the same time, she tries to keep mental tabs on Monet, making sure she doesn't run into any trouble she can't handle alone.

Alura In-Ze has posed:
What Clark and the others find is not so much a prison but a laboratory. At the center table is an alien who has been cut open. Strange organs removed. Weird coloured bodily fluids. Resting next to him - a green gemmed ring. So much for the local Lanterns keeping this sector safe.

There are other tables with force fields holding their prisoners down. These are the locals. Kelex robots move between them seemingly unaware of the intruders here to stop them. They are impressing upon their prisoners with experimental energy pulses to see what will happen. Crucially, they are recording pain response.

Alura gives a nod to Monet, though she's not too sure how much luck she'll have given how much trouble Noh-Varr was having with just a console. "Good luck then." And she heads on up to the command deck, the bridge, to face the person responsible for all this misery and torment.

Clark Kent has posed:
The grim scene upsets Clark. With a frown, he turns and follows Alura to the bridge. A reckoning was coming for those responsible for these atrocities.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
They don't have so much time, so Monet has to at least give it a try. And perhpas over on the ship things will be a bit simpler. But if Noh-Varr couldn't get it and the systems are even partially as secure as that, she's not going to have the slightest luck. But she has to make the attempt.. And she won't be as helpful with the others going along. She's not strong enough to fight a Kryptonian, she'd just get in the way. The quicker ones can help with the prisoners.

Monet goes to scan ahead, sweeping for signs of others in the way as she heads towards the computer room. Attempting to read any markers along the walls to help trace her path. If the layout of ships was standardized.. Then it should be the same as the others. The joy of mass production.. She also tries to fly along the ceiling, in case there were more robots or defenders. They'd be rushing up to the bridge to help against the heavy hitters after all and going to aid thier master.

Singularity has posed:
Helpfully, Singularity offers, "Once I have been to a location, I can return to it!" that stated plainly. "However, I am aware on the basic level, of every sentient thing in the universe." she explains, "But the stronger my feeling towards someone, the more perceise my teleportation. For instance, I will be returning us near friend Kara when we are done here!" she explains to the others.

She remains wrapped around Lois, her form more streamlined to fit comfortablty around the reporter so she can see outside. She gets a feeling that Lois may want to follow the two Kryptonians, so after the destruction of the crystal and now enter into the experimentation bay, white eyes opened in slight horror to what has happened here.

And she blasts the robots anyway, just to stop the whole experimentation thing. Noone should have to go through that. Helping, right? But now, she's trailing behind Alura and Clark as they head towards the bridge, floating slightly off the deck as she trails slightly behind.

Lois Lane has posed:
Oh. Snap.

Inside the safety of Singularity, Lois covers her mouth as her eyes open wide. She's clearly shocked and appalled. Of course, she has to narrate what's going on, describing the strange lab with an alien who was vivisected while others are simply being tortured for the sake of alien 'science'. She makes sure she gets detail on what's going on, as there could potentially be clues that are missed for now, but will be seen later on (with hindsight), so like any war correspondent, she gets into the nitty gritty details of the lab.

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner looks at M'gann, looking surprised. "My telekinesis is very detailed, I can 'see', and move, even microcircuitry, but it has a limited range, anything larger than a mid-sized building and I can't get it whole," but even if the ship is too big, he just needs to be close enough to the target.

But the problem is they are not just prisoner, they are victims of a sadistic bastard. "Alura, definitely not the right guy for diplomacy. Lets just hit him until he is unconscious, we can have the telepaths go through his mind later. If it is not too dirty for them."

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
M'gann looks to Conner and smiles briefly, "We're about to broaden your horizens a bit. I have an idea to maybe help scuttle the ship." Reaching out, she touches Conner's temple with one hand, the other to her own, "I'm going to send you a 'map'. It's every crystal inside every robot on this ship. And together, we're going to destroy them. Reach out with your telekinesis, crush the crystals, and I'll do the same. Between us we should be able to halt them all."

And that is exactly what she will do, using her own refined telekinesis to seek out and map out every crystal-driven robot on the ship, sending the 'map' to Conner so they can crush the crystals... all from the relative comfort of the laboratory/prisoner room. It's going to take a little time, but that will give Monet time to fuss with the computer, and likewise for SIngularity/Lois to help get the prisoners off the ship, AND give Alura and Clark time to confront the Kryptonian! If they're lucky, they'll be able to join them on the bridge in time to help subdue the Hegemonic Kryptonian (who will henceforth be called Bob for brevity's sake).

Singularity has posed:
Once the prisoners are releases, Singularity is opening a portal, and setting it back towards the plaza that the tributes were offered earlier. The young universe may have done this in randomness, but she may actually be delivering some poetic justice, giving back what was taken away.

She ushers people through, sending them teleporting quickly back home while making sure the infirmed and passed also get taken. As for the green power ring... there's a frown. She can alert one of the Green Lanterns on Earth later about it and bring them to this planet to recover it to return to Oa.

Alura In-Ze has posed:
An intrusive thought... 'bob'... "So you're the one responsible for all this suffering. Bob." Alura says as she looks at the Kryptonian clad in golden crystalline armor. A blue cape hangs from his back. He turned to face them and rose from his chair.

The man had the look of someone who likes to fight. Knuckles crack, a neck as thick as his head, and a confident look on his face suggested this was a Kryptonian who was comfortable with fists flying. "Who dares to face me, Gn-Ga, on my own ship."

Two robot construction bays flank the room and with a flash, two new robots are formed and step off the platform. And just as soon as they are active, M'gann and Conner get their telekinetic hooks in to them. Finally, a way past their defenses. Crack, the crystals shatter and the robots clatter to the floor.

"We are Alura In-Ze and Kal-El and you are trespassing in our universe. You have attacked this planet and subjugated the population. This stops now."

Everything on the bridge happens so fast that it's practically normal speed for all three Kryptonians; though Gn-Ga is just a little faster than Alura and Gn-Ga is just a little more skilled at combat than Clark. He fights in three dimensions as if it were as simple as breathing and his heat ray bursts are small but precise hits to joints. He's toying with the two of them.

Alura has been beaten up plenty of times in her life - but never by someone who was built for war. She focuses on the training she got from Themyscira but she is but a babe in their martial ways. If they had Wonder Woman here this man would be facing off against someone better than him. Their main advantage -- numbers. <<"Everyone to the bridge. This guy is not going to go down easy.">>

Monet St. Croix has posed:
All right, she's at the computer room.. And the systems are well beyond her. There are no signs of access codes, ways that she could get in, or signs of easier security. She takes a few moments and then goes to call along the link <<I've come to the main matrix, and I do not see a way to get into the system. En route to assist>> She's going to head along towards the laboratory to rendezous with those that had been doing the evacuation. She's going to be useless in a fight wtih Kryptonian tier adversaries without a plan.

But she gets thoughtful after a few moments <<Singularity, you can broadcast specific spectrums of radiation and energy, correct?>> This is sent to Singularity and the others that are not in combat for thier lives against beings of raw strength and terror.

Singularity has posed:
Once the situation with the ring and the prisoners is decided, Singularity is reached out to by Monet. The young universe is multi-tasking, but she seems to be just fine with accepting another task as she considers the question.

"Yes!" she offers quickly. "I can form graviton, gamma, to any energy on the electromagnetic spectrum. If it is an energy type? I can probably replicate it!" she offers brightly. "But the less I use an energy? The less I can control it. Can eminate!"

Conner Kent has posed:
"It is called tactile because I need to 'touch' the objects, Miss M," comments Conner. Still, if she can quickly find the robots, and they aren't to far, he can disable the crystals. Apparently Brainiac still builds better robots than the alt-Hegemony, as these were unable to adapt to this way of striking them down.

There might be a few that are flying he misses, but in a minute, M'gann and Conner manage to seriously cut down the numbers advantage Gn-Ga had due to his robots.

Now, how to help Alura and Clark? "Flood the room with the sunlight from a red start, Sing. Also, increase gravity. That will reduce all the powers of the Kryptonians, but Martians are not affected, and neither are mutants." And him? He still has tactile telekinesis, and can toss pieces of the floor to Gn-Ga, even from other room.

Lois Lane has posed:
Record, record. That's exactly what Lois continues to do as within Singularity's universe, she records the events taking place for prosperity. She miiight be talking up Conner and Clark though and their activities. It's the Lois-bias.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
With the robots disabled, M'gann nods to Conner and moves to join the fight with Alura and Clark. She takes the shortcut, phasing through the ship until she reaches the bridge. Taking stock of the fight, M'gann will have a moment's pause to settle herself before engaging. She's going to need all of her formidable powers for this fight.

Thankfully, the training she received from the Academy was largely geared towards facing similiarly powered beings, and she's quite used to fighting in three dimensions while also engaging on a mental front. Gn-Ga may have some mental fortitude, but M'gann was trained to pierce mental shields and read minds as easily as most people breathe. She'll keep a scan going on his thoughts, pulling his moves from his mind as soon as he thinks them, allowing her to anticipate his attacks while using a mixture of Martian Martial Arts and subtle illusions to keep him off-balance.

It's going to be a sight to see, for those that can follow the speed of it. M'gann will shrink or grow in size, altering her mass and tangibility as needed, meeting punch for punch, her own heat vision used to deflect his. She can't best him, he's likely got some years (and ruthlessness) on her, but the additional powers SHOULD let her keep him at a standstill... and give the others time to bring the assault into their favor. Should. Hopefully. M'gann prefers to be optimistic!

Singularity has posed:
As Conner and Monet both share ideas, Singularity nods bluntly. "Oh-kay!" she offers to the pair, before the little Singularity with Lois offers, "Hold on tight!" With that, she turns her attention to the situation. Now clear of prisoners and with no issues that she was told of... she starts to shift colors.

Her dark blues form a patch of red at her shoulder. It grows and expands, getting brighter as it feeds over her as the other stars and galaxies within her are dwarfed. She takes on the properties of a collapsing red giant - the gravity, the energy. Not the heat, she only borrows what she was asked to as she washes the bridge in the bright red color, and her gravitational pull starts to crush and pull things towards her that are not bolted down, but she doesn't accept them into her.

The sun is not warm and cheerful, like Sol. It's bitter, angry, a sun that takes, does not give. In the middle of that feminine shape, the young woman's face is scowling in anger. "You will not hurt my friends!"

Alura In-Ze has posed:
Alura hears the communicated thought faster than the words from Conner. As Clark takes the brunt of the blasts she slides underneath him and grabs a hand about his belt. As he speeds away his sunbelt runs away and he turns around in surprise at the tactic, then smirks.

Until the whole room becomes flooded with red sunlight and he, Alura, Clark, and Conner all depower. Despite this he keeps fighting and he is quite the skilled fighter. But against their numbers and with the lack of super strength and speed, he succumbs to their combined might.

Alura wipes the blood from a cut on her face and catches her breath before punching the man one more time to knock him out. "Okay. We've learnt a lot today..." She is struggling between words as she keeps panting. "Nevermind. Debrief later."

Alura motions over her bracer and it transforms as it jumps from her skin in to an alien raygun. She looks over the control panels and then starts blasting them.

The ship begins to tilt and fall back in to the atmosphere. "Time for everyone to get off this ship. Including our prisoner. Sing. Take us home. Not even a ship like this can survive unmanaged re-entry in to a planetary atmosphere."

Lois Lane has posed:
Witnessing the birth of a star is most definitely an interesting thing. It's warm, and it's still a good distance away, but then it gets bigger. It's a focus for red light, and she squints for a few moments, covering her eyes and just turning away.

Covering her eyes, she squints, only seeing Clark et al. in fisticuffs. Oh snap, they're actually hurting each other. There's blood.

Lois' eyes widen and she covers her mouth, now invested in the fight, only to relax when things turn out alright. Phew. Not another Death of...

Conner Kent has posed:
That was pretty bad. Not only the Kryptonian was as strong as Kal, which likely means many years soaking yellow sun radiation, he was a -very- good fighter. Which means the Hegemony has at least some guys that trained intensively while having superpowers. Conner used to joke the only way he would learn martial arts suitable for super-strength was if he trained with Asgardians or Amazons.

Not it doesn't seem so funny.

"You know, maybe the Green Lanterns are going to need help," he mentions as they prepare to return. "And we should magic stuff for our allies or something."

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
Once the fight has concluded and Bob has been subdued, M'gann joins the others with a nod towards Singularity. "No living beings on the ship aside from our party. I believe we're good to transport." She looks to Alura, "We should speak when we get back to Earth. There may be things this one knows." She nods towards Gn-Ga. "That would be useful for you and yours."

Singularity has posed:
Once everything is secured that needs to be secured, Singularity starts to dim the red light she was giving off. She needs Clark and Alura to recover and quickly once Gn-Ga is secured. As the items and personnel are gathered, and she feels the tilt of the ship, Singularity chirps as she releases Lois from within her so she can focus.

"It is time to leave!" A perwinkle portal opens, and a few moments later, the portal opens to the otherside, showing a warm park in Metropolis. "Please. Hurry." she encourages the others. Once everyone is through and safe?

Singularity does not enter. She collapses the pocket and as the ship is collapsing around her, she makes sure that it will not crash into an inhabited area, teleporting it if she needs to, before collapsing in on herself.

She disappears completely, returning to that space between universes and dimensions. Because after all she did today?

She needs a nap.
