The Biggest T in Midgard
Date of Scene: 11 March 2024
Location: Main Room - Titan's Tower
Synopsis: Thor comes to Titans Tower for a long-promised tour. Unfortunately Gar is streaming at the time, Donna challenges the Thunderer to video games, and everyone forgets all about the tour. Raven was, of course, appalled.
Cast of Characters: Donna Troy, Thor, Gar Logan, Rachel Roth

Donna Troy has posed:
Several years ago, in the Themysciran Embassy....

"You should come visit us at Titans Tower some time Thor," Donna says. "It's a big tower the shape of a letter T." The Amazon gives the Asgardian a wry grin and raises an admonishing finger at him. "It looks a bit like a hammer, but you're not to try picking it up and swinging it around!"

Today...

The Titans Tower security systems flag one of the standard alerts -- a flyer approaching the roof. It's not an emergency alert, which means that the computer has a visual match and doesn't think it's a threat, but a warning goes out to the T-Coms of everyone in the Tower at the time, along with a visual. The figure flying in to a landing on the roof is not hard to recognize.

A voice comes out of a speaker set into the floor close to where Thor lands. <<Hi Thor, welcome to Titans Tower.>> It's Donna, or Lady Troy as Thor sometimes refers to her when he's in one of his more old world moods. <<Did you come to continue our plans for Diana's downfall? Come on in, just follow the line of lights down the stairs.>>

True to the words through the speaker, Thor is soon greeted by a series of glowing blue lights set into the floor, which lead to a doorway and a staircase that goes down a couple of flights to the main room of Titans Tower.

Thor has posed:
"HELLO!" Thor booms out when the speaker talks to him, as if it might not be easy to hear him. He probably blows it out with his volume. Yes, he does this to Tony Stark, too, on comms, pretty regularly. The Avengers have a voice moderation program for Thor.

The visitor is not currently in any sort of super hero attire, not today. He's made a great (and successful) attempt at modern Metropolis streetwear. He may believe he is somewhat incognito -- but the success rate of that is zero. He's huge, boisterously obvious, and a gray hoodie and jeans ensemble does nothing to mask any of that. Nor does the manner of arrival, which caused significant winds on the roof. Thor had nearly blown off one of the chairs up there, and had to quickly react to rescue it from spinning away. He's busy with that while the speakers are talking. "I DO NOT WISH FOUL UPON WONDER WOMAN," he announces, top volume, but there's a smile in the shout. "THOUGH IF YOU SPEAK OF PRANKS, LET US CONFER." Once the deck chair was caught and righted, Thor was quite pleased with himself, as if he'd saved a baby to deliver back to its mother personally.

And he carries that smile through to the stairs, following the lights with interest. He does hold his 'umbrella,' though not with any intent to use it indoors. That'd be bad luck.

Gar Logan has posed:
Some people have different setups for their streaming. A bedroom with a desk. A dedicated gaming room. A living room. A bathroom.

Well, the last one is for a different kind of streaming.

Anyway, Garfield Logan, otherwise known to the world as Beast Boy, prefers to do his streaming in the main room of Titans Tower, in full view of every and anyone who may happen to wander through.

Streaming of the gaming variety, to be extra clear.

Really, some of the interest in watching while he's gaming isn't just to see what he'll play, say, or do, but to see who they can catch a glimpse of in the background. Will it be one of the speedsters, zipping over to wave before darting off again? Starfire, with her latest mustard-featured concoction? Donna, probably wondering why he keeps wasting his time on video games? Caitlyn, whether she's trying to coax him into sampling her latest round of backing (not difficult) or pointedly ensuring he donates to the swear jar after an embarrassing death in some game (not unlikely)? Maybe, just Vorpal being Vorpal.

He's playing some RPG that's a remake of a classic from the days of more primitive graphics, oblivious to everything else thanks to a pair of good headphones as he balances playing and chatting with his viewers. Today's shirt of choice is a black tank top with the face of a bengal cat on it, along with a pair of plain basketball shorts.

Rachel Roth has posed:
Visiting the tower is never not... An Occasion. The Titans are a social lot, and the fact is- well, they tend to swarm a bit whenever there's a visitor, even if that visitor isn't there for them specifically. Raven, of course, is almost always at the tower, and sadly- according to her- is almost always adjacent to the main room whenever there is, in her words, 'an interloper.'

As the others greet Thor, a shape descends from the dorms, wearing a somewhat loose-fitting hooded sweater, pulled up around her as protectively as it can. The hood hides her features for the most part, but it is easily distinguished as the Daughter of Trigon, making her way over to...

Well, make coffee. She's a little slower than normal, but it's her, as bright and cheery as she always is- which is to say, not at all. The mood of a room normally sours just a bit when she enters, her dour visage draining some of the mirth from it just by appearance alone, and her lack of greeting comes as an oddity.

She goes about her business in silence, plucking a chemex from the cupboard, a pot to heat, a filter, all the normal things. It is as she is grinding her coffee that she turns and faces their visitor. She offers him a polite nod.

"Thor." is all she says, but it is greeting enough. Probably.

Donna Troy has posed:
The next person to interrupt Gar's peace and quiet is Donna. Rather than ignoring him as Rae had done, she immediately steps over to the sofa behind Gar and give the camera a wave. The sight of Gar streaming games in the main room is hardly an unfamiliar one to the rest of the Titans. It's also another thing that gets broadcast as an alert to the residents of the tower -- Nightwing for example really wouldn't want to accidentally be caught on Gar's livestream with his mask off.

As usual Donna is in full armor, a shiny new set of her newer style of full body armor since the last one got destroyed recently. The black enameling sparkles, the silver stars shine. Lighter and more flexible than her original Grecian style armor, Donna uses this suit to train in, and it's a fair bet that's what she's been up to. If only because that's usually what she's been up to.

"HELLO THOR," Donna says very loudly, if not perhaps at the volume level of Thor's own bellow. "DID YOU GO HARD OF HEARING DUE TO A THUNDERBOLT GOING OFF A LITTLE TOO CLOSELY?" She breaks into a grin and winks at the Asgardian. "Beer?" she asks him, in a far quieter voice.

There is a possibility that Raven will frown at her most severely for all the shouting, but she figures that Raven has probably already been disturbed by what she would consider an unacceptable volume of noise (i.e louder than a sparrow's heartbeat) and at this point it doesn't matter. She also attempts to make up for it with a mouthed 'Sorry' to Raven who she joins in the kitchen area. She gives the sorceresses' arm a gentle squeeze too, and asks her far more quietly, "Feeling okay?"

The answer to that question if taken at face value is one she already knows, but Raven will understand that Donna is speaking relatively, even if for reasons that haven not been more generally revealed.

Donna opens the fridge door and glances back to Thor. "Welcome to Titans tower, Thor! Do you know Raven and Gar? Raven is one of the original Titans who set the team up eleven years ago. Gar joined us a little later, but has still been with us... what is it, eight years now Gar?"

Raven has her coffee on, so Donna doesn't offer her any drinks, but she extends the offer she had made to Thor to Gar too. "Beer, Gar?" she asks, waving a bottle at him.

Yes! The Titans are no longer the teen superhero team they became famed as being. They've been around eleven years! They drink beer now!

And stream video games on a MASSIVE screen.

Thor has posed:
Thor likes tours, generally. And he's a good person to give a tour /to/, since he looks around with interest and curiosity, with an open and natural appreciation. This is particularly so with other hero bases shaped like letters, or palaces in other realms. He's dignified and calm about it, and keeps his hands to himself (since a tour guide is present).

"My hearing is not impacted," Thor says, willing to go along with that odd question, but opting to take it as concern for his wellbeing. "I am glad you could hear me well despite the wind in the outside!" No trouble at all from Thor. "Certainly, yes," is the answer about beer!

Thor is an opposite mood from Raven's dour one, he's sunny and smiley today. Those that look closely will see some vestiges of a facial eye injury, but it's mostly healed - just a bit of bruise on one side, a bit of red around the lower part of the iris. But someone would need to really look into his gaze to see it. --Not that that's difficult, Thor is openly happy to meet the eye of anyone that would like a bright smile from him. "I do know Raven, but of course. Good evening!-- or perhaps morning?" Thor answers Rachel's 'Thor' pleasantly. The coffee signals it may be her morning, and he's being polite, willing to adapt if she just woke. He doesn't shout; he's indoors and not on comms. But sure, his voice carries well. "It is good to see you again, young corax of darkness." He remembers that name easily even if it's been a while. A 'raven' is easy for Thor, but he's fond of his descriptors.

But most of his attention is now on the very obvious, HUGE screened setup of gaming in the main room. "Aha, a battle game! Are you defeating them soundly?" Thor wants to know. He came in from the side, tall enough for his head to be entirely cut off on the stream's camera due to being up close to the camera mount, as he has no idea a stream is going on. So it'll just be the huge avenger's middle and chest in the stream frame. And yes, probably somewhat into Beast Boy's space, looking to see if he knows this game. It could be one of the two other games he's seen, after all.

Gar Logan has posed:
The same warning goes for Damian as well, since his public persona is important to keep separate from his costumed one.

In the midst of a battle, a number of bird emojis start popping up in the chat window. Yes, in addition to Starfire, Donna, Cait, or others, another in the mix to make an appearance would be Raven and her looks of disapproving disinterest. "Oh, snap!" Gar exclaims into his mic. "Hey, Rave! We had you at 50-to-1 odds to show up first! Someone's getting a bunch of shiny Beast Coins thanks to you!"

Right on cue, someone who got those coins - they apparently hold bets on which Titan will be seen in the background first - redeems a few hundred and Gar pauses the game to set the controller down. "15-second techno party it is!" He gets up to dance like he's actually at one as a frame of LED lighting set up behind him starts to flash and pulse a variety of colors while music pipes in...

And that's about the time Donna and Thor in his decidedly normie clothing that doesn't hide the fact he's Thor /at all/ turn up. Gar turns around as the lights and music come to an end. "Hey, Donna. Whoa, dude. You're here, Thor?" Multiple viewers start plugging in 'THOR' into the chat along with a few adding 'FIX THE CAMERA!' which of course Gar doesn't see because he's not looking at that right now. "Oh, uh, yeah. Taking ass and kicking names, like always! Wait, I mixed that up. Kicking ass and taking names, that's me!"

Naturally, a few in the chat type in 'CLIP IT,' so that's probably going to end up on social media before long. He does shake his head and wave off the offer of a beer. Nearby is a juice drink of some kind. With those headphones on, which he slides one half off and away from an ear, he adds, "If you said something, I didn't hear you."

Rachel Roth has posed:
Raven's preparations come in a sort of soft, deliberate way that somewhat emulates her norm- but she's just a bit slower. She also didn't do anything in preparation of the coffee beforehand like she would normally have. It's not unheard of- as one of the oldest Titans- in a relative sense- Raven tends to end up in the harsher end of the pool, as it were, during training sessions. This sort of deliberate coffee crafting has been seen before.

Donna's approach causes Raven to turn towards her, the squeeze of her arm catching her glance for a few moments. "Well enough." she responds, her tone as reassuring as it gets. As is normal, her hands find themselves in the pockets of her sweater as she regards Thor, waiting for the water to heat inside the pot. "It is not morning." she responds, "But thank you /both/," a glance towards Donna, "For lowering the volume." A single decibel above Unsettling Silence does draw Raven's ire typically, but today she seems a bit more sensitive to the noise than normal; She visibly winced during Donna's shouting, but seems to have overcome it now that everyone is at Normal Speaking Volume.

When Thor goes over to Are You Winnin', Son their resident Beast Boy, Gar can see Raven's displeasure on her features past Thor, and if looks could kill. She is clearly noting it for later- that there should be a discussion about streaming in the Tower. A long discussion that Gar won't like.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna responds to Rae's assurances with an dubious expression so faint only Rae will be able to register it, but adds a small nod to that as well. If she says 'Well enough,' that's all she's likely to say at that moment. Maybe if there weren't other people around she would say more. Donna knows Raven is not really 'well enough' in the greater scheme of things. Donna Has Concerns. Some of those Concerns she hasn't even voiced to Raven herself yet.

The streaming discussion though? It's an endless debate, partly because the tower really is a noisy and random place, partly because Raven and Gar have fundamentally different understandings of the use of public space. From Gar's perspective it's a place anyone can use for whatever they want to do, however loud, chaotic, and occasionally explosive it is. From Raven's perspective it is where the coffee is, and anyone using it for anything other than quietly making coffee is misusing the facilities.

Donna settles for two bottles from the fridge then, as Gar is already on the hard stuff. She flips the caps from the bottles with her thumb one at a time, the flick carrying each across the kitchen area and directly into the recycling. This is obviously a skill she has given much practice to, and she accompanies each beer bottle cap's flight with a "Pew" as if she was firing laser guns.

Once the bottles are opened, she brings Thor's over to him and stands beside him, about one third in the frame. "Guys!" She says to the camera. "Surely some of you can find a Mjolnir emoji. What's going on here? Your emoji game is weak!" Donna's face does just about make it into frame, so her grin, or at least a part of her grin, is visible.

"Here for the tour, Thor?" she asks. "Or did you just want to challenge Gar to a game?"

Thor has posed:
"Is the ...dancing part of the game? Or merely to celebrate?" Thor asks, a little baffled by the weird techno dance outbreak. He doesn't mind it; others reacting in joy is fine. It's just not something he would associate with what that game looked like to him. "If it is celebratory, congratulations," Thor says, attempting to slap Gar on the back in a friendly way. It isn't super hard, but it would be enough to wind, say, a Tony Stark type. Thor has no intent to harm any friend, yet it also is important to show true encouragement with some weight behind the 'pat!'

Thor's attention is primarily on all the Gar activity, just since it's big and distracting. But he did hear Raven thank them about the volume, and he immediately bobs his head in a nod of understanding. Perhaps she is hungover. He gives a /knowing/ wink that Raven may or may not see. The stream certainly won't; probably mostly Thor armpit. Which is still pretty clearly Thor, really.

"I have partaken of a game wherein floods of evil demons must be stopped. I am hardly a master yet, as I broke the control in a celebration." Normal, it happens. "Do you have that game?" Thor asks, unaware of how extremely vague that question is.

Thor accepts the beer with a warm and open smile to Donna; she is most welcome, particularly bringing beer. He does not understand 'emoji', but lets it just fly past him, as he also isn't sure who Donna is talking to. This just isn't Thor's realm.

"Here for the beer," Thor jokes with her first. But then, "Cannot I seek both tour and a game?" Thor laughs, softly, at Donna's question. Soft, because he remembered Raven's preference about volume.

Gar Logan has posed:
A long discussion Gar might not like, but one that probably won't deter him from doing the very same thing again. He plays with fire sometimes. It's one of his things.

Rubbing the back of his neck, he turns toward the camera that records the stream, telling his audience, "Gimme a few. We might be joined here in a minute by a very special guest." A guest who, moments later, nearly knocks Gar out of the frame based on how it looks on the feed.

"Oof!" He doubles over briefly, hands at his knees as his head comes back into view with the headphones askew. They're shifted down to rest at his neck. "Uh, well, this is a gaming stream, and people get free coins for watching, more for buying a subscription. They can turn them in for different actions. Like, picking an animal for me to be, a hydration break, changing the colors on the lights, the dancing thing. It's all for interaction."

Hammers, birds, and things like that start to pop up in the chat, including various green-colored animal emojis. Custom for the channel, of course. Happy now, Donna? She called them out!

Getting more into view again, he adds, "Probably got that game..somewhere. But no breaking controllers. That makes it a lot harder to keep playing." He points at Raven, telling her, "And no teleporting them off into the bay, either. Okay?" His drink is /not/ alcoholic, just something fruit-punchy. "We've also got fighting games, but I know all the special moves so that wouldn't be fair to you, big guy. Donna, if you want to give him the tour first, I can wrap up here. I'm sure nobody wants to see Thor take a seat and game with me."

Lots of crying emojis pop up in the chat amid people demanding anything but what Gar proposes.

Rachel Roth has posed:
Speaking of discussions that people won't like, the expression from Donna is a sign that one is on the horizon. Exactly who it'll be worse for is up for debate. Regardless, Raven is putting on a face, and doing it quite well- now is not the time to disturb it. After all, they have a guest. There is, though, a short cling- Raven doesn't exactly stick to Troia, but there's perhaps just a touch of regret that Donna is being a good host.

Worse still, she's being a good friend. Raven does consider the common area to be a place that is to be used with the utmost respect to all the other denizens of the tower, but frankly, it is only a problem for Raven that the others do what they do at the their various individual volumes. If nothing else, Raven mentally notes all of this in a longstanding mental document best known as the Book of Grudges, the naming of which is, in fact, in the Book of Grudges.

The next time Troia looks her way, Raven will have an expression that denotes that there is a new entry for Donna, as she has encouraged Gar again, which is firmly against the rules. Troia is likely secure in knowing that she'll skirt the rules in some fashion later to get the offense stricken from her permanent record... But the glance is there all the same.

There is a soft noise from her when she pushes off of the counter, and starts pouring the steaming water over freshly ground coffee- adding her own form of noise to the common room: The scent of freshly made coffee, of the highest order. Artisan boiled bean juice.

Raven does not look up from her coffee to respond to Beast Boy. "I make no promises." she states, with full intent behind her words. She is no vandal, admittedly- but she has teleported things and people to worse places for lesser offenses than putting her on camera. Again.

Donna Troy has posed:
"We still have a few of those 'unbreakable' controllers that Cyborg modified left," Donna points out. The quotes around 'unbreakable' are audible, though perhaps unnecessary given the context that there are still a few of them left. Donna is responsible for breaking her fair share of them. She can sometimes get a little enthusiastic with combat-oriented games, perhaps partially because her own combat skills do not generally translate to video game combat (except in the case of that one time they Titans were sent a sword controller to test out, but Donna was quickly banned from using that).

"And there are those ones I had Pallas rehouse in Themysciran steel." One of those did get broken too, but to be fair there were explosives involved.

"See all the text appearing on the screen?" Donna says to Thor, waving a finger in the screen's direction. "That's being typed all the people around the world who are watching Gar playing the game over the internet. They're basically competing to try to get Gar to respond directly to them. Also for reasons that I have never heard a satisfactory answer to, Gar sometimes grants them the capability to make him dance, or turn into a green marmoset. However the activity does seem to result in money going to one of the charities we support, so we allow the insanity to continue."

Donna flashes a quick smile to Raven, clearly indicating some part of how the that discussion on the horizon will go. Donna will be sympathetic but annoyingly firm. She approves of the various Titans' charitable fund-raising efforts. Raven will argue the realities of living in a world with such things as video game streaming in them, not just in some theoretical way, but right there in what is effectively the living room. Donna will smile, and attempt to reassure, and be understanding, and suggest compromises, and ultimately offer some form of compensation -- yet also be irritatingly hard to sway.

"What do you say Thor, game before tour? Gar's got a lot of gaming experience, but maybe he can even the odds a bit by trying to use the controller with gorilla hands. Probably better for the camera like that, your heads would be about on level."

Thor has posed:
Thor soaks up Donna's explanation with a grave and serious face. He is learning, and doesn't judge at all. He perks up when he clearly 'gets it', then. "The only control devices I have broken are mine own," Thor says, in a way that is firmly specifically TRUE. Thor can swing from sunshine into what can only be described as a Kingly Decree. In this case, there is no room left to suggest he would ever damage Gar's game equipment on purpose. "And perhaps Stark's brand of unbreakable, but it was upon his urging." When there's a request, that is a different matter. Though what Thor considers an urging may be a question mark.

"I do follow! You are recording a show for viewers of a charity nature. Aha. That is a lot of quick text." Thor's got it. He just didn't know what he had walked into. He's deduced the camera location from where Donna gestured and smiled to, now. "If they do not purchase hydration, do you grow dehydrated?" Thor wonders, then. "Additionally, should I obtain coins, I would fancy a snake. Everyone does know I appreciate a fine snake!" A favorite animal, evidently. And Thor is being encouraging in his way, of others having a good time. Or perhaps giving the show's viewers an idea of what he'd like.

"Bah! I would not seek a handicap! Mine OWN gorilla hands are trouble, ha!" Thor's amused, and willing to make fun of himself. Controllers usually are too small, but he takes it in stride. "Should I lose, it is an opportunity to learn," Thor comments.

"But the tour should be first, Lady Troy. I would not keep you during game antics." He automatically offers an elbow to her in the same gallant way he might have done so on Asgard, should she wish to escort him in that way.

Gar Logan has posed:
Oh, yes. Sometimes the chat window scrolls by at a pace only a speedster would find to be slow. And right now, there's a mixture of birds, hearts, skulls, and the sorts of things indicating at least some viewers are taking the sighting of Raven in a positive fashion.

"If we 'still have a few' of those, they weren't as unbreakable as Vic thought, were they?" Gar retorts to Donna, suggesting further modifications and reinforcement may be needed. He places the headset down. If he's actually going to game as a much larger creature, those aren't really going to fit.

Then he adds, "Welllll, some of it goes to the 'Feed the Beast Boy' fund, too. In case you didn't notice, our food budget is down a few dollars. And if they don't remind me to drink something, I could shrivel up and wither away! Or, you know, once I got thirsty enough I'd have a sip anyway."

Somebody redeems coins and the light setup turns to a shade of purple as snakes begin to appear in the chat at Thor's behest.

"Hey, you guys go do the tour first. I need to finish this fight, then I can save it and find just the thing for us." Pushing a button on an electronic display, a close-up picture of a goose peeking over an obstacle with the word 'SOON' shows up on the video stream.

When the 'Hydrate!' command is bought by someone, Gar begins to reach for his drink before pausing with a partial glance toward Raven. This would be about the time for her to interpret that a little differently.

Rachel Roth has posed:
Raven is perhaps frustratingly docile at the moment. She would normally have made a move to make her displeasure more known, especially as the game gains volume over time- and various donations come in with noisy emotes attached to them- but at the moment... She is not vindictive. At least, she is less vindictive than normal.

Instead, Raven sips at her coffee, as Thor offers an arm to Troia. The command on the screen would normally be her cue- not that she would take cues from Beast Boy's chat, admittedly, but she would perhaps entertain thoughts of expelling him into the water surrounding the tower. Instead, she merely takes another sip.

    And then she speaks.

"At some point on your tour, Thor, you will have to ask Beast Boy about his ability to transform. I hear that he has an excellent approximation of Jormungandr that he expects is about as capable as the real Midgard Serpent. Sadly, he has been absent for several training sessions, and we have not been able to test his claims. He's said a couple of times that he's on the level of the Avengers."

Sure, in the exact context and tone of Rodney Dangerfield, he might have. There might even have been a 'No Respect' or two involved. Raven doesn't cover that detail.

    Sip.

Donna Troy has posed:
"It was mistake for him to call them unbreakable," Donna agrees with Gar. "I mean that was basically a challenge. As I recall the first one lasted about forty seconds, and Cait was so embarrassed that she was the one to have done it. "

"It's the speedsters who are the worst though. Accidentally crushing a controller doesn't happen nearly as often as one of the speedsters simply using up all four million key presses or whatever it is the buttons are rated for."

Donna nods her head to Thor. "That's very gallant of you," she allows with a smile, glancing in the direction of the elevators that lead down into the rest of the tower. There's so much to see. The labs? Thor may not be particularly scientifically inclined, but he'll probably enjoy comparing it to Tony's set up. The storage rooms make for really quite an impressive museum by this time. Thor's the type who'd probably appreciate the gym facilities. There's the water access level in the basement with the T-Sub. The Danger Room! Everyone loves the danger room.

Donna looks back at the screen thoughtfully, then looks to Raven. There are a few moments silence where there is a non-verbal communication between the two of the time that could only occur between people who have known each other for a very long time, because Donna gives Raven the faintest of nods after those moments, as if acknowledging some spoken point that Raven had made. "Please don't encourage him to become Jormungandr inside the Tower please Rae. He wouldn't fit. "

Donna turns back to Thor with a bright smile, and rests a hand on Thor's arm rather than taking his elbow. She apparently has come to some conclusion while this communion with Raven was taking place. "You know, the Tower's not going anywhere, and we've got a public to amuse. You shouldn't worry about keeping me waiting during game antics. Did you think I was going to stand around and watch? I want in on the gaming action too."

Donna tilts her head to the side. "Unless of course you feel that in the arena of video gaming, Asgard must concede the superior might Olympus, that is... " Her face breaks into a grin. "Not that I'm making a challenge out of it here, I know you just don't have the experience in gaming we Titans do!"

Thor has posed:
Thor looks at Donna a little dubiously, seeing where she is going with this line. That it turns into a playful challenge? Thor laughs. He forgets to be as soft this time, so it has a brassy deep boom to it. Thor is good at accidental reminders of being the Thunderer. But it wasn't on purpose!

"Ha! Give me an excellent lesson, then, to be certain the challenge is suitable for you," Thor suggests smoothly. "As you do know I am a beginner to this amusement, lend me your expertise, for a proper battle down the road." Thor switches out of gallant and into more of a friendly mode, that he might use on Sif, to loop an arm back behind her instead to encourage them BOTH to approach and sit in the game area! It's not a grab, more of a 'hover hand', as he respects Donna's space.

"We do begin!"

Gar Logan has posed:
That moment of apprehension passes as Gar finds himself safe for now. Breathe. In. Exhale. Out.

Raven will definitely get him another time, and the punishment will be doubled at the least.

"Hey, I never said anything about the Avengers, and I've been a dragon and a minotaur, but I've never tried /that/ one before." Is that the spark of an idea behind those green eyes of his? That can't be good.

He looks between Donna and Raven, figuring out that they're having one of those nonverbal things between them, but clearly Donna's nudging things along to get more screentime for this, and probably more money coming in.

"Okay, we're doing this. Thor, prepare thee to have thine ass kicked! Figuratively." A thoughtful pause as he turns attention back to the setup to make preparations for multiple people on screen and he adds, "Is it thine or thy?" The chat starts to really hop now.

Who will be the first to redeem the Impromptu Rave command?

Rachel Roth has posed:
It had been a gambit, and in a way it failed. However, Thor is about to contend against Beast Boy in a video game, and considering that he is eons old and competitive in spirit, Raven can only root for him to get his bearings swiftly, and destroy Gar summarily.

And in case he doesn't, Raven approaches the couch slowly, setting a hand on Donna's shoulder. "You know what to do." she relents, allowing Donna her fun, but unable to take part in it herself, she makes her way back towards the dorms.
