Profile
Beatriz da Costa is a former Justice League member who retired after being depowered, and is back on the scene once again upon her powers being returned. She is noted both for her expertise at stealth and investigation in human form by those in the know, and for being that woman who turns into green flames and sets everything on fire by the public at large.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 2007 As a teenager collected side money as a beach model, selling her looks to spice up tourist photos.
* 2008 Caught the eye of a show producer and became a showgirl, selling her looks on stage in mass productions at casinos and the like.
* 2009 Got involved by accident with an intelligence operation at the hotel she worked at, impressing the SNI/ABIN (Brazilian intelligence) enough that they recruited her as an undercover agent, becoming a top-level operative.
* 2012 In a mission gone wrong, a pyroplasmic explosion paired with the explosion of a genebomb endowed her with pyroplasm and gave her the ability to exhale fire.
* 2013 Started as a superhero going by the moniker Green Fury. Quickly changed it to Green Flame. Joined the international Global Guardians, assisting in the take-down of the wizard El Dorado and his allies on Easter Island.
* 2014 Global Guardians lose UN funding. Green Flame, along with other Guardians, join the Justice League instead.
* 2015 As a minor member, got attacked by an experimental gene-manipulating nanovirus that laid her out for months in a coma. Upon awakening she found her flame power enhanced beyond belief. Adopts the new name Fire.
* 2017 Doomsday attacks. In the fight she overextends her powers. Her flame goes out. She retires from the hero gig and chooses instead to work on being a fashion model and designer.
* 2019 Powers reawaken, something she keeps mostly to herself.
* 2020 Decides she misses the exciting life of the superhero and rejoins the public eye as Fire, specifically at the news of the fall of Genosha, horrified at the loss of life.

Personality
Outgoing:
Beatriz loves people. She loves interacting with them in talk, in play, and in romance. She is quick to make friends and easy to get along with.
Passionate:
Beatriz has the hot blood commonly associated with those brought up in Brazilian culture. She wears her heart on her sleeve and is thus quick to love, quick to hate, quick to anger, but also quick to forgive.
Patient:
You don't become a top secret agent in the short time Beatriz did by being reckless and stupid. She seems to lack that "jump in and mix it up" gene many supers have and is willing to bide her time for her best advantage.
Thrillseeker:
While Beatriz may be patient in executing her actions, action is key. She likes the thrill of the hunt, of combat, of capture and much of her history consisted of finding more and more thrills.

Powers
Pyroplasm:
Beatriz was saturated by a form of energy called 'pyroplasm' which initially gave her the ability to project a short, but intense tongue of flame from her mouth. The later application of a 'metagene bomb' greatly enhanced her pyroplastic abilities such that she can transform into a being made entirely of fully-immolating green plasma at will, and back to human form again afterward.
In her human and plasmic forms both she can:
* Create and project green flame from any part of her body, having full control over both her form and any projected flame.
In her plasmic form she can additionally :
* Make herself intangible in a way that allows her to pass solid objects through her plasmic form without injury.
* Fly at multi-Mach speeds by bursting intense flame behind her like a rocket, controlling those flames to control her flight speed and direction.
Skills
Advanced Hand-To-Hand:
Beatriz was trained as a close-in combatant by some of the best trainers in the business. While not in any top leagues in the superheroing world, she is more than a match for most soldiers and probably a match for the best regular-ops specialists like Rangers or their ilk.
Infiltration:
Beatriz is a talented and well-trained espionage agent who specialized in undercover operations and stealthy infiltration.
Investigation:
Beatriz is a skilled investigator on par with some of the best professional detectives in the business.
Multiligual:
Beatriz speaks Portuguese and Spanish with native proficiency and speaks English with a light accent.
Visual Arts:
Starting as a hobby, Beatriz turned that hobby into a profession in the realm of fashion design during her time away from vigilantism.
Resources
Fashion:
Beatriz runs a small fashion design house that grants her a decent upper middle class income. She also hires out as a model, since she looks nothing like her age and thus hasn't hit the model's usual age wall.
Intelligence Contacts:
Beatriz still cultivates resources and agents in SNI, ABIN, and even a couple of CIA assets from her days working in the Intelligence community, giving her access to some forms of information others might not be able to acquire. (Of course such favours tend to come with price tags.)

Weaknesses
Air:
Beatriz's flame powers simply will not work in an absence of air.
Destructive Change:
Transforming into her flame form destroys any regular clothing she might be wearing. Metals, stones, and other such materials will survive unharmed, but fabrics get immolated to the point that there isn't even fine ash left behind.
Involuntary Change:
When she loses emotional control, especially to anger, she will frequently switch into her flame form.
