Profile
Inque is notorious in the criminal underground and vigilante sphere as an accomplished thief, assassin, and saboteur. She doesn't bother to hide the fact that she's a mutate whose body has turned into a kind of sentient non-newtonian liquid. While centered in Gotham, she works internationally and indiscriminately.
Timeline
Timeline:
1983 - Inque was born as an only child to a poor family in Siangcong.
2000 - Inque and her
family are displaced and joins thousands of others in a refugee camp.
2001 - International aid
fails and the war comes to the camp. Desperate for freedom, Inque's family turns to the black market
to be smuggled out of the country.
- In the escape, Inque's mother is shot dead.
- Instead of finding freedom, Inque is sold into slavery.
- Arriving in Gotham Inque manages
to escape her captors.
- Inque discovers she was pregnant.
- Homeless and
desperate she signs up for questionable human experimentation.
- She was experimented with
mutagens until near death, after which she was released.
2002 - Deanna is born.
- Months
later, the experiments finally took hold and Inque started losing cohesion. Realizing that she no
long would be able to take care of her baby she put it up for adoption.
2003 - Inque finally
learns to control her new powers and starts to work in the criminal underground.
2004 - Present:
Inque works as a mercenary, spy, assassin and saboteur, taking a large amount of her hard earned
cash and leaving it for her daughter in an anonymous trust fund.

Personality
Amoral:
Morality is for people who don't want to get ahead in life. Killing, stealing, generally making
people's lives more miserable is all within reason (as long as the price is right).
Greedy:
How much is too much? It's always never enough. Having grown up in a poor third world country
she can't get enough material wealth to satisfy her.
Mother:
The only other person in the world she cares about is her daughter. The entire reason she
started a life of crime was so she could make sure that her daughter had the money and life that she
never had.
Vengeful:
Inque will definitely hold a grudge against anybody who actively works against her, /especially/
if they manage to hurt her, her daughter, or her bank account.

Powers
Amorphous Form:
Inque is a puddle of sentient non-newtonian fluid that's able to take a variety of forms. She
can alter her viscosity from anywhere between a flesh-like solid, to a runny liquid, like
water.
Distributed Consciousness:
Her consciousness seems to reside in the greatest mass of the substance that her body is made
out of, yet she remains in control of any part that might be separated from her. There seems to be a
range limit to this, but any part of her that is left outside that range still has some amount of
autonomy, being able to react to stimuli. Should she come across this mass again, she'll be able to
reincorporate it back within herself.
Enhanced Strength:
Using her liquid form as hydraulics, she's able to perform feats of incredible strength. She's
been shown to tear up concrete, pop rivets and even lift heavy machinery like a large
forklift.
Shadow Camouflage:
When hiding in a shadow she becomes nearly invisible. Only if somebody were to step or otherwise
touch the shadow would they be able to tell that something is there.
Shapeshifting:
Due to her powers she's able to shapeshift, mimicking everything from people, to animals, even
to abstract art. The only thing she can't change is her color, which is black with a blue sheen to
it.
Wall Climbing:
By being able to fill to the microscopic cracks and crevasses in walls with her fluid, she's
able to scale sheer surfaces with ease. Anything smooth she can make tiny little suction cups in
order to stick to it.
Skills
Banking:
Seeing as she makes her money illicitly she knows how to cheese the banking system to be able to
hold all her assets without alerting the authorities. This is how she's able to make sure that the
anonymous trust fund that she's set up for her daughter doesn't get traced back to her.
Chemistry:
Since her biology is easily corruptible she's learned how to create the mutagen that was used to
create her. While she isn't as knowledgeable as somebody who has a degree in it, she can muddle her
way though well enough.
Infiltration:
Inque is particularly skilled at infiltration and breaking and entering. She knows how to enter
high security areas without alerting anybody to her presence.
Martial Arts:
While she doesn't have any formal training in any of the known martial arts, she /is/ skilled in
using her biology to her advantage in hand to hand combat.
Stealth:
Inque is able to use her powers effectively to be able to remain hidden and unseen, even to
those who may be actively looking for trouble.
Resources
Offshore Bank Accounts:
Inque has quite a bit of money tucked away in offshore bank accounts that allow her to live well
off.
Weaknesses
Daughter:
Since her daughter is one of the few things she cares about, Deanna can be used against
her.
Electricity:
Being a liquid, Inque is effected by electricity to a greater degree than unpowered humans would
be.
Freezing:
If gotten cold enough, Inque will freeze solid. She retains her consciousness through this,
however.
Unstable Mutation:
Due to her fluid construction, it's fairly easy to corrupt her biology which would cause her to
start losing cohesion. A dose of mutagen would suffice to be able to bring her back to
normal.
Water:
Regular water dilutes Inque which causes her to lose cohesion. She's been able to pull herself
together after being drenched in water, but it takes her quite a bit of time.
