The former heir to the Frost fortune, Disgraced and disowned by his father. Christian Frost is a far cry from the future CEO he was destined to be. Currently, he spends his time in clubs and drugged up somewhere in Greenwich Village.

Timeline:
*1989: Born to Winston and Hazel Frost, the first of the Frost children. Destined to be heir to the company.
*2006 May: Graduated from Private School Magna Cum Laude
*2006 September: Started at Harvard, majoring in Business and Marketing
*2010 September: Began MBA program at Harvard
*2012: Graduated Harvard
*2014 July: Named one of Forbes Magazine's 30 under 30.
*2014 August: Attempted to come out of the closet to his father, was sent to mental institution for conversion therapy.
* 2015: Mutant powers manifest themselves, began working to control them, not allowed contact with the outside world.
*2017: Released from program after three years of abuse and neglect. Treatment did not work, Winston disowns Christian.
*2017: Approached by Sinister to augment his latent abilities in exchange for his DNA. Which ends up being the Stepford Cuckoos.
*2018: Manages to live in NYC, addicted to drugs and suffering from PTSD and depression.
*2020: Spends most of his days partying and using drugs to numb himself.
*2021: After a Opal and Cocaine OD, Christian winds up in the hospital. Emma learns of his manifested powers and with Emma's help he ends up staying at the Xavier Institute to recover and try and get clean. He falls off the wagon to Kick and manifests a Winston-monster. He is prevented from nearly killing himself by Blink. Emma ensures he is treated and she continues to fight off Kick-induced real illusions of their monstrous father. Despite the support, he fails to make friends at Xavier's and is unable to hold things together for very long.
*2022: Christian falls off the wagon, excuses himself from the lives of the few who love him, chasing the dragon.
*2023-2024: In an attempt to not be a burden, being lucky enough to survive another OD, Christian's release from the hospital comes with the agreement of rehab. PTSD related to his prior institutionalization prevented rehab from being particularly helpful and he goes in and out of programs in a range of cities around the US. It's enough to kick heroin, but still turns to less destructive drugs to keep the voices out and the nightmares at bay.
*2025: Christian has returned to NYC's nightlife, only barely more in control of his powers and his addiction.

Personality

Damaged:
A lifetime of abuse by his father along with some time spent in a 'wash away the gay' institution has left Christian more than a little damaged. His quintessential party boy persona is really nothing more than an attempt to hide just how messed up he really is underneath it all. Fake it until you make it, right?

Drug Addict:
Uppers, downers, Christian really doesn't have a 'drug of choice', he likes them all. They're the one thing he can count on to take away the emotional and mental anguish left behind by years of abuse. His tolerance is high enough that any real 'clean time' followed by a relapse could easily result in an overdose.

Former Heir:
Despite his father's attempts to ruin his own son, Christian is a savvy, clever creature who can be quite charming and insightful when he wants to be. Though he has a naturally flamboyant nature and seeks out means to numb himself, he has all of the personality and social graces the higher end of society expect.

Manipulative:
If you tell someone something enough times, with enough sincerity and conviction, eventually they'll even believe it. This is the method Christian uses, along with his powers, to manipulate the people around him into believing that everything is 'just fine' in his world. Most of the time, he's not even consciously aware of the fact that he's doing it. Emma, dear sweet Emma, she sees right through it all.

Masochist:
Christian believes he deserves pain. He deserves punishment. He deserves the crappy cards he's dealt in life. This belief is a self-fulfilling prophecy. He often seeks out abusive relationships, fights he knows he can't win and other ways to self flagellate without even knowing he's doing so.

Astral Blasts:
Using the same energy as his constructs, Christian can create destructive energy blasts. These blasts are more damaging mentally than physical at Christian's current level of power. They are effective against any sentient being.

Beings without any sort of enhanced willpower or mental abilities have little defense against these blasts. To someone like Emma, they're more an annoyance than anything else. The end result of these blasts can vary from extreme fear or sorrow to the point of debilitation to a catatonic state. The duration of the effects are directly related to the target's willpower. The strongest willed human (Batman for example) can shake off the effects in a matter of minutes whereas the weaker willed can suffer for hours.

Christian is loathe to use this power. As damaged as he is, he doesn't like hurting people. But if backed into a corner, he will defend himself, sometimes without conscious effort.

Astral Manipulation:
The true extent of Christian's ability to pull energy from the astral plane and manipulate it is currently unknown, even to Christian himself. The fact that, at some point, he might be able to create constructs from astral energy that will even fool his sister, Emma, hints at the possibility that this power could become on par with others of his family.

Currently, Christian is able to create constructs that can easily pass any casual inspection by an average human or even security cameras. He can create both animate and inanimate constructs and both will remain in existence for as long as he's able to concentrate completely on keeping them present unless...

The flip side to this is Christian losing control. Panic attacks, a little too much 'recreation', extremely drastic emotional states, any of these can cause Christian to lose control and create something unintentionally. When this happens, he has a difficult time 'putting the genie back in the bottle' so to speak. Considering that these constructs are normally the product of a damaged, drug addled psyche, they generally aren't pleasant.

OOC: As he learns, via RP, Christian will have an easier time controlling his constructs and be able to control more than one. Some extensions of his Astral Manipulation that I would like to see develop via RP include: Astral Projection, Astral Suggestion, Astral Trapping/Banishing and Healing. These would come with sheet updates.

Telepathy:
Christian is a minor telepath. He can communicate with others telepathically and read surface thoughts. At this time, his telepathy is limited to those only communication and surface thoughts.

Business:
Christian graduated Harvard Magna Cum Laude with an MBA. He's not only educated, but he's smart, really really smart. His business savvy is the only good thing he ever got from his father. He could feasibly take a failing business and turn it into a multi-million dollar enterprise. These days he uses those business smarts to survive in ways are just the wrong side of legal. He may be blacklisted from working in any high paying position on the up and up, but everyone knows that the 'up and up' isn't the only way to do business. With investments made on the down low, a little insider trading and working the stocks like his momma works her shrink for extra Xanax, he does well enough for himself.

Fashion Sense:
Hand in hand with his Social Graces, Christian has an undeniable sense of style. He's always fabulous, always one of the ten best dressed no matter where he goes. Fabulous is his preferred state of being on the fashion front. Yet another way to hide the insecurity and anxiety beneath the surface.

Piano:
Christian is a gifted pianist thanks to his extensive education in upper society.

Christian KILLS IT on Karaoke night.

Social Graces:
Quintessential party boy or consummate businessman, Christian ALWAYS knows how to behave in the situation. He's elegance and grace and manners when needed but can easily slip into rowdy, raunchy and loud when the situation warrants. The latter is his preference these days, but he can literally fit in anywhere. Once again, fake it until you make it, right?

Lil' Sis:
While Christian certainly isn't flat broke, sometimes he needs a little financial boost. It's not uncommon for his sister to fund his latest venture when needed. It's not an all the time thing, but Emma always comes through with funds in the tens of thousands range if her brother needs it.

But there's so much more to Emma and Christian than loans. Everyone has 'their person', be it a family member, friend or lover. Emma is Christian's person. She'll bail him out of jail, help him hide the body, let him snot all over her favorite dress while he cries on her shoulder and he would do all the same and more for her in return.

Blacklisted:
Due to his father's considerable influence, Christian is blacklisted from most companies that he could find employment that would support his preferred lifestyle. This doesn't stop him from doing more than just making ends meet. Private investments, insider trading, stocks and a few less than legal business ventures are his way of life now. This, along with help from his sister, keep him pretty comfortable.

Drugs:
Christian is a drug addict. Withdrawal kicks in quick. He needs his fix, often multiple fixes, to get through the day.

Sister:
As much as Emma is a strength, she's also a weakness. He loves his baby sister more than anything in this world. He would die bloody, slow, painful and messy to save her. She could easily be used as leverage against him. His inability to do more for her than he does is also fuel for his sense of worthlessness and insecurity.

The Girls:
The Stepford Cuckoos are technically Christian's daughters. Messed up right? ...and who knows what else Sinister did with his DNA.

The Monster:
Winston Frost is a thorn in Christian's side in more ways than one. Not the least of which is the man's immunity to Christian's powers.

He's also the source of everything that is wrong with Christian's life. The abuse Winston dealt out is what's left Christian the damaged, broken man he is today. From the loss of his fiance to loss of power and position in the business world, Winston has stopped at nothing to see his son suffer... and all because of his sexual preferences. Winston's influence over his other children has resulted in Christian being ostracized by all of his family but his Emma.
