A Mouse's Story - A Visit From an Old Friend to What Came Before
Date of Scene: 11 October 2022
Location: Roof - Titan's Tower
Synopsis: A Coyote comes a calling to see how Terry and Kaida are doing with the powers of people he used to know. He also leaves with a mysterious warning about a man thought dead who Kaida recently learned was still alive. A very dangerous man.
Cast of Characters: Kaida Connolly, Michael Hannigan, Victor Stone, Terry O'Neil, Dawn Granger, Bart Allen

Kaida Connolly has posed:
It was an odd situation. There was an intruder alert. Someone had somehow just appeared on top of the roof of Titan's Tower. Someone, who appears to be in jeans, a button up shirt, cowboy boots and a hat is laying in one of the lounge chairs by the pool with his hate over his face. It was truly odd because the alerts went off as soon as the computer recognized an intruder as the sun set over the horizon and if someone went back over the tape? Well, he did just kinda appear there.

Kaida was in her room at the time that it happened, doing whatever a mouse do in her room, and comes rushing out of the door, racing through the main room, making a quick pause at the fridge to grab out a snack and then moving on.

"Anyone know what is going on?" She asks of anyone in the main room before she is on her way to the roof.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike glances up from where he is. While he was visiting to drop off some items, he was not said intruder. But the sound of the alert does makes him a bit doubtful. "I don't think it's me...Was I supposed to do something more than call ahead today?"

Victor Stone has posed:
Random intruder alerts tends to get Vic's attention. People just /appearing/ in the Tower always leads to something worth investigating. Not always something bad--sometimes very good things! But also, sometimes, Wonderland trying to encroach on the Tower or entire founding members of the Titans getting written out of reality for a while.

It's been a weird year. Couple of years.

No, scratch that--the life of a superhero is just generally weird.

He gets up as Kaida comes in and says, "Looks like some guy just... appeared up on the roof. He's lying on one of the lounge chairs. Huh." He'll follow the mouse on up to the roof to investigate.

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"That's not because of you!" Vorpal answers. Mike had caught him in the main room, in the middle of making himself a sandwich. It was a thing of beauty, of the kind that Dagwood would have claimed with pride as a thing of its own invention. It was, alas, not to be enjoyed.

As Kaida sweeps into the main room, the Cheshire shakes his head, "No idea. Wendy!" he calls out, "Sitrep!"

The large-screen monitor, which is usually employed for entertainment, switches to a live feed of the rooftop camera. "We have an intruder alert on the rooftop level. Unable to identify."

The Cheshire narrows his eyes, "How did he... nevermind. I'll hop ahead to test the waters and how hostile he might be. See you up there..."

And with that, a Rabbit Hole takes him up to the roof. He clears his throat.

"I hope you're not waiting for bar service, the Sheraton is ten miles in the opposite direction." The Cheshire deadpans, staring at the intruder with narrowed eyes.

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn hadn't been back long enough to really catch up with anyone, much less suddenly deal with an intruder. No better way to integrate herself again with people than by seeing who the hell is on the roof. She comes up on the elevator a short time after most of the others, peering out onto the roof expecting explosions or danger.

Lounging is not dangerous.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
The man in the chair has dark skin, his arms crossed over his chest as he appears to be sleeping. He shifts slightly when Terry arrives up there and he casually lifts a hand, giving it a small wave as if dismissive before he speaks. His voice has a strange mix of Native American with the western lilt made popular in many westerns.

"Give it a minute, cat. Whole party isn't here yet." He seems to then let out a sigh and shift slightly to get more comfortable.

Of course, then Kaida comes up next, her speed getting her there before Victor and she gets to beside Terry quickly enough and puts her hand on her sword. She takes her right foot forward and raises her chin.

"Who are you?" She sniffs at the air and slow blinks then before sniffing again. She then looks distant for a moment, eyes going down as if she were trying to remember something.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Hearing the assurance for Vorpal, Mike's posture relaxes slightly. The smallest of smiles set upon his face before the sound of the intruder alert reminds him of the problem at hand. Right.

Vorpal's vanishing act causes for the rocker to glance around while reaching into his pocket to pull out something. Now, where are the stairs to the roof? He doesn't wonder long. With Vic and Kaida on their way, he just ends up following them. Well, more following Victor. Damn that mouse is fast!

Either way, Mike makes his way up to the roof, glancing around the area before setting eyes upon the man in the hat. He doesn't move over to where Terry and Kaida are standing, instead opting to spread the numbers out a bit. The musician gives the man a curious look, but being Kaida asked the key question, he waits.

Victor Stone has posed:
"Good question, Kaida." Victor makes his way over to the pool, to fold his arms across his chest and peer at the man lying on the chair. No obvious weapons, not like Kaida. The guy isn't doing anything... /yet/, after all.

He glances around at Dawn peeking out and gestures her on over. "Doesn't look like anything too dangerous," he notes to her. Yet.

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"He may not look too dangerous, but he's definitely sassy," Vorpal says, glancing back at his friends and team-mates, and then back at the man, pursing his lips.

"If you're going to be smart, you have to understand that /I'm/ the party around here. But now the rest of those here are assembled, so you had better start your monologuing or whatever it is you've come here to do. But I'm going to warn you: I left a half-made sandwich down there, and if you're here to make trouble I won't think twice about being extra vindictive." He uncrosses his arms.

"It was going to be a fantastic sandwich."

Dawn Granger has posed:
While Dawn's middle name isn't danger (it's Marie), it's something she's vigilant and hyperaware of. She makes her way over to stand near Victor, gaze remaining on the lounge chair and its occupant. "Doesn't *look* like it, but this man did somehow just end up on our roof. Most people don't just do that, and given that he's not apologizing, I imagine it's not accidental."

She calmly watches the intruder, waiting for that first aggressive move that she's expecting. Or perhaps his monologue. Vorpal's got the right of it.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"Well, a half-made sandwich is just a terrible thing. One might even call it mad." He chuckles lightly to himself even as he reaches up to casually push his hat up and slowly sit up. He opens his mouth for a wide yawn, his canines far more pronounced than usual. His tongue a bit longer and wrong. As he closes his mouth up though, he looks like a typical Native American man. He slowly blinks as he looks down at Kaida before looking up at Terry and then he looks to each of them. His eyes squinting briefly at Dawn before considering and then he blinks.

"Oh right." He doesn't expand on that before he looks over at Kaida, "Who I am is less important than who you are." He chuckles and then looks to Terry, "You, too." He casually pulls himself up to his feet like a puppet being raised on strings. It's effortless and it's unclear if it is supernatural or simply amazing muscle control.

"So, the new Cheshire Cat and, well, never really had a name I suppose." He looks at Kaida, "I mean, you're Kaida. Right?" He nods his head and shrugs, "But that's not really right either, is it?"

"It is right, that's who I am! Now, you still haven't told us who you are?!" She points at him even as she steps forward, eying him warily even as he puts both hands up with a grin.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
The lamentations of the unfinished sandwich causes for Mike to glanceover to Vorpal. "I'm sure it was going to be." He sort of comforts, giving a bit of an amused expression to the Cheshire's choice of topic. "Think of it as a practice sandwich. The next one will be bigger and better."

Mike...

Focus.

Oh right!

Mike looks over to Hatman. "We'd still like to know who you are, even if you don't think that's important. Also, why the visit?"

Victor Stone has posed:
"Sandwiches are serious business, man," Cyborg notes. "There'd better be a /damn/ good reason you interrupted the sandwich-making. I was gonna take a picture of the final product." Is he being serious? It's entirely possible. The Titans take food /very/ seriously.

He peers at the man and says, "Who you are matters for whatever message you're trying to give. Some random-ass villain showing up on the roof trying to lure us into a false sense of security is /way/ different than Mike's long-lost half-brother come up from Oklahoma to dazzle us all with his teleportation powers."

Terry O'Neil has posed:
The Cheshire cat raises another eyebrow. The man's fangy mouth didn't pass unnoticed, only unremarked. He glances from Victor to Mike to Dawn, down to Kaida, and back up at the man as he stands up.

"Well, yes, it's been public knowledge I'm the Cheshire cat for about two years. And I still get complaints that I don't look like the Disney cartoon. What of it? And what business do you have with Kaida and yours truly?"

His tail twitches. He keeps a watchful eye on the man, to react to any sudden moves he might make.

Dawn Granger has posed:
While the sandwich comments get a slight smile of amusement from Dawn, she's mostly focused on the gentleman. "Even if you think that these others are more important, we do need something to call you." She calmly watches, squinting back in the man's direction with an assessing look. "So what would you prefer to be called?" She remains where she's at, not seeming phased that the man is particularly familiar with some of them. After all, it did seem like a purposeful visit.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"Random-ass? Just absolutely rude." He states and then he casually flicks his hate and gives a nod to Dawn before grinning at Terry. He then looks to each of them before letting out a sigh.

"I travel all the way here and risk the anger of the Rabbit just to come see you and this is the welcome I get." He chuckles and shrugs, "I guess if you lot really insist upon a name, most would call me a villain or a trickster but I simply prefer Coyote." He gives a slight nod of his head and tip of his hat before looking directly to Terry and smirking, "And I knew your predecessor...and yours, too." He looks to Kaida with a nod before looking to the others as if to guage a response before he shifts his feet, "And I came to see you."

Kaida stares at the man with a slow blink. She could smell the coyote. She knew the smell and she really had no idea how she knew it. Why she knew it but she did. It was very strange. Either way, she shifts back and stands up taller. She rests her hand on her sword still though.

"You knew...the mouse in the cage?" She asks and stares at him carefully.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Hearing the comparison, Mike looks over to Victor, brow raised and then looking back to hat man. And then looks back to Victor. "Just because we both got long hair-"

Mike pauses at the mention of the name. "Coyote?" He repeats, giving a slight smirk. As for the reasoning behind the change in expression, he doesn't share with the class. Besides, they're still waiting for the actual reason for him showing up. No need to detract from that.

Victor Stone has posed:
"Ohhhh," Vic says as the man introduces himself. "That's... huh. Okay. That is neither of the things I described. Still worth knowing, though. Welcome to Titans Tower, I guess?" He peers around at Terry--this seems more like his area of expertise.

Aside to Mike, he says, "It was just an example. Didn't mean anything by it. I could've said Terry's long-lost half-brother but I think if Terry had a half-brother the world would explode."

He looks to Kaida, then, watching her reaction to the whole thing.

Terry O'Neil has posed:
Vorpal is silent for a few seconds, lips still pursed. Then, he finally speaks.

"Coyote."

There's no surprise in his voice. At this point, there is very little that can surprise Terry O'Neil. Becoming the Cheshire Cat, going through Tartarus, talking to Hekate, being singled out for vengeance by Eris, finding out his teammate is an actual goddess. Dating a green shape-shifter and a winged alien. And making out with a version of himself from another universe.

Of COURSE the Titans would find Coyote lounging on their poolware in the middle of a crisp Autumn sunset. What was surprising is that Coyote wasn't in the middle of having tea with Hermes, Yemoya and Ma'ui.

"I'll be darned. Fricking Coyote himself," the Cheshire muses, hands on his hips. "And you knew my deadbeat dad, to boot. Well, I am a decided improvement on the whole model. But..." he trails off, and shoots a glance at the elevator. His brain wonders, for a second, if he should Rabbit Hole to the kitchen and get his sandwich, but he's not sure if Coyote would feel offended at someone eating in his presence and not sharing.

And he wasn't about to share that sandwich. It was the Frank Lloyd Wright building of sandwiches. By which we mean to say that it jutted out in weird places, had ingredients in places you wouldn't expect, but the whole of it was somehow magnificent because of it, instead of in spite of it.

"What business do you have with our mighty mouse?" He is guarded, of course. Coyote was a trickster. Technically speaking, so was he as well. But the Cheshire Cat was only, roughly, six hundred years old. Coyote was /much/ older and had a longer practice. One of the things Vorpal did know about Coyote is that one should never assume whose side he was on, and to be wary because if there was a chance to trip someone up on their own conscious of subconscious self-importance, Coyote would take it. And arrange for it to be the most absolutely humiliating way possible.

Dawn Granger has posed:
"Well, Coyote," Dawn says. "I believe you've set my friends on edge. I do not think mentioning people call you a villain is a particularly settling thing either. Perhaps if you were to, say, reassure them that you're only here to talk, things might go over better." She gestures towards Kaida and Vorpal as she says this, glancing briefly in their directions before looking back to Coyote.

While calm, though, there's the smallest touch of pain on her face. Predecessors were a dangerous topic and one she tended to avoid at all costs. Which Vorpal seeming to at least know what's going on (and seem a little more level-headed, surprisingly), she falls into silence, simply observing.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"I did." Coyote responds to Kaida with a nod before looking up with a frown before letting out a sigh and reaching up to adjust his hat. He looks genuinely melancholy for a moment before he looks then to Michael with a chuckle. He glances at Victor before nodding to him and then back to Michael he looks him over.

"Now, now, I could do worse. You aren't as pretty as I am and don't quite have the right look but I could do worse." He nods and then bypasses Terry momentarily to glance past him at Dawn. He looks at her briefly before he shakes his head with a laugh.

"Now, there's no fun in me clearing that up plus why limit my options." He grins before finally he focuses back on Terry and smirks at him, "And yeah, I knew your deadbeat dad. I assure ya, sometimes, some jobs require a bit of distance." He shrugs, "Not making excuses but-OW!" He lets out a surprised yelp as he is suddenly grabbing his leg and hopping back. Kaida apparently slaming into him with both feet before leaping back and puttig her hands on her hips.

"Focus! What are you here for and how did you know the mouse in the cage?! Who was she?!" And she glares at him even as Coyote stares at her with some degree of surprise and anger. However, after a moment he stops and puts his foot down before he starts to laugh and holds his hat. He laughs even louder as he falls back on to the lounger and shakes his head.

"I cannot believe how alike you two are..."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"In a grotesquely large ball of glitter." Mike adds in to Victor's reason for not giving a hypothetical half brother. Also considering the father situation, absentee by different reasons- odds of having a half brother were more in Mike's favor probably.

The smirk remains, indicative of no grudges "I'm sure the Vorpal brand horsemen of the apocalypse will look like the members of ABBA and their outfits will fully sequined."

Mike looks back over to Coyote as he gives an assessment to his overall look. He gives a bit of a shrug. "Good for you." Mike replies, "Keep up that positive thinking."

Victor Stone has posed:
Vic nods aside to Mike. Yep. That'd be how it'd happen. To a T.

He smirks at Kaida as she tries to pull Coyote into focus. "If they're that much alike you'll know that Kaida doesn't take much from anyone. She'll stab me in the ankle if I'm brooding too hard." It's true. She has! Well, sort of.

Then he frowns slowly. "Wait, okay--predecessor... you knew Terry's dad, who was the Cheshire Cat. And you knew Kaida's..." A pause. "...Wait. Is Kaida... /something/? A--what even is the Cheshire Cat? Not a god. Not... /really/?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen was out doing a run through the country, the news papers will tell a story of the Flash stopping a wave of crimes across, the country. As he hears the alarm, he does a quick change from a full fledge Flash costume, to his Impulse attire. He heads in running up the side of the building before coming to a stop about a foot or two after stepping up on the roof. He looks about to see whats going on. Those who may notice more than others, may notice he is wearing red boots, not the ones he normally does.

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"That's not what Gar said last night," Terry quips quickly when Victor speaks. It's a reflex. "But technically speaking the Cheshire cat isn't a god because Wonderland doesn't /have/ gods. They have..." He pauses, trying to find the words. "We just /are/. And you are trying to weasel away from answering, Coyote," Vorpal observes, as Mighty Mouse gives Coyote a mighty kick.

"You know it really is rather rude to come all the way over here, risking the wrath of Rabbit, only to beat around the bush. It's Autumn, Coyote, there are no more bushes left, so it's all empty beating."

He tilts his head, "You are on Titan territory now, and you must abide by the laws of hospitality here. Guests who are rude get glittered. I don't make the rules," he just did, "I only follow them. So-" he jerks his thumb in the direction of the red-and-white blur that has just arrived, "-for the sake of the newcomers, how about you tell us who the mouse woman about whom we are describing wide interlocutory circles was?"

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn eyes Coyote from the distance she's at, though she doesn't make any move, instead just waiting to see what happens. Her attention is directed towards Kaida as she makes the attack, perhaps in concern, but things still haven't turned /dangerous/ to the point of her really worrying. She opens her mouth to say something, but instead falls silent. She's observing.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"Ok, ok!" Coyote finally states, glancing at Bart with grin before pointing at Terry, "And I'll have you know that I invented beating around the bush." He nods his head before letting out a sigh and then shrugging his shoulders. He crosses his arms and looks directly at Kaida before looking to the side a moment.

"Well, first off. Of course I knew Terry's dad." He states simply enough, "I am Coyote. Do you think I don't know other tricksters? You think those stories of the Cheshire Cat paint him as a straight forward hero." He laughs, "We played plenty of tricks on you humans and other critters, too." He nods his head and then looks wistful a moment with a grin.

"You lot, from over the ocean, always are putting labels on things. Before Kaida, there was Shara." He states simply enough, "And I knew her for centuries. Longer, really." He looks more directly at Kaida, "And part of why I came here was because she gave everything she was to you." He points at Kaida and his face goes a little more stoic, "And that means something. Something that you don't yet understand and might never understand if you aren't careful."

He looks up to Terry a moment and then back to Kaida, "Honestly, this whole thing is just way more complicated than I'd like and it really ain't my business." He seems to slip more into a western accent as he stands back up.

"And just what's that supposed to mean?" Kaida asks as she watches him stand. She casually leaps up to Terry's shoulder without asking permission. Sorry, Terry. She needs the height. She walks right to the edge of his shoulder and points at Coyote.

"You come here and just show up to say it's complicated and not your business?! THat's stupid and you're stupid!" As she waggles a tiny finger and speaks, those who look closely can see something, an almost mixture of sadness and happy reminiscence on his face before he lets out a sigh and raises a hand.

"Listen, I don't typically involve myself directly in mortal messes, especially those not my making but I just want you to be careful of your old boss."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
At the mention of rude guests getting glittered, Mike brings a finger up to his mouth and then holds it up. The hand slowly turns before pausing. Looking over to Coyote and Terry, he takes a few steps away from Victor and quietly waits.

Victor Stone has posed:
Vic frowns at Coyote for a long moment. "Guess it'd track that you're not gonna give a direct answer. One of those 'have to figure it out for yourself' things? But at least you're saying--there's something to look into. There's something to think about, to know more about. Yeah? A warning. Don't get complacent. Something's going on. Etcetera."

He shrugs, and then grins. "Whatever it is--Kaida's a Titan. She'll have plenty of help dealing with whatever legacy she's been left, same as Terry did."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen listens to what is going on and stands there a moment, and then steps back off the roof and down the side of the building. The blur of red and white can be seen going across the city before coming back up, with 2 bags of books, and a backpack on. He looks to the others and says "Stories of mice in mythology." He explains He starts speed reading them in the space between people talking.

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"Well, Coyote, no offense but it /is/ something of a historical precedent that anything you show up in is usually a lot more complicated than it needs to be." He suddenly grins, "Remember that time when that pale girl with the shoeboxes full of papers from Armherst ended up in Wonder-" he pauses. It's hard to tell what's going on in the moments of silence following that aborted statement, but Terry is doing the mental equivalent of a tongue probing one's teeth after a meal for the hint of a heretofore ignored remnant of a banquet. "Huh. Didn't know that memory was /there/," he says quietly, and then pushes the memory back so he can take it out and take a closer look later.

"Kaida's boss? I'm a little lost here, Coyote. You are clearly referring to your extended family of deities in these here parts, but the only Mouse Woman I've ever found any passing references to is the mother of Raven among the Haida... and I'm pretty sure that's the wrong Mouse Woman. So if we are going to help Kaida, I think you could afford us to throw us a bone in the shape of a meatier clue than simply 'her boss', y'know?"

He winks and nods in Bart's direction, "Otherwise our speed-running library reference speedster /will/ find the reference. There's nothing Bart CAN'T find, if it's there to be found. Except, maybe, the food after Beast Boy gets to it."

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn's gaze moves from Coyote to Kaida and Vorpal, studying them. The tension in the air hasn't eased, but she's less concerned that Coyote is about to attack them with something. He was trying to share something. "I'm sure everyone will be careful," she says simply. "A little more of a direct warning would help," she agrees. "If you don't mind."

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"You don't mean anyone related to you. Do you?" Kaida asks and stares with a frown, "You mean Dr. Wilson." She swallows and looks down briefly even as Coyote smirks and nods his head.

"Exactly." He then looks up to Terry and chuckles before shaking his head, "We did get up to some hijinx, didn't we Chesh." He then lets out a sigh before shaking his head and then he looks to the others, "It's not my style or my place to get involved. Not to mention, if I just told you everything than you'd never learn anything?" He chuckles and nods to Dawn with a wink.

"That's my long way of saying, I do mind." Coyote grins and then turns his gaze briefly to Victor and then he shrugs.

"Well, if that's the case than my work here is done." He flicks his hat and turns to look out over the city.

"That's it?" Kaida asks and eyes him, "Just that and then you're gone? You haven't said a damn thing worth anything!" She huffs and then points at him.

"Shar...Kaida." He pauses a moment and then looks back down at her a moment and a single tear slides out of his eye before he clears his throat, "Just be careful of that man. All I'm saying. If I were saying more, I'd say look to where all the mice...aren't." And he shrugs and starts to walk casually toward the edge of the roof.

Victor Stone has posed:
Victor looks to Bart. "You got anything, man?" He raises his brows. "I don't think we're getting anything more out of Coyote here. Except cryptic warnings, which is kinda par for the course, really."

He watches the man turn to go, and then focuses on Kaida. "And you--you gonna be okay? Who's Dr. Wilson?" Terry's commentary goes unnoted. For now. He'll surely ask the Cheshire what /that's/ all about later.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over and says "Well so far, the most I am finding are references to a Native American woman, she was a protector who used her cunning to keep humans safe from monsters. I think will need to find some more specific books to search through maybe talk to a few Native American historians if we can find any. He has been putting the books in two piles, ones that have a little info and ones that have none.

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"Great job, Bart. You're on the historical research task team," Vorpal nods, giving the speedster a thumbs-up. Turning to Coyote, he huhs. "Well, if you're going to just leave like that... at least leave us a way to contact you. I may not be my dad but I'm no slouch in the trickster department, you know."

Of course Coyote will vanish by walking off the roof. That's what he would do. It's a classic, and the classics never get old. He glances at his friends and frowns. "Vic's right, if you can provide us some information on who Doctor Wilson is. Coyote's warning is as clear as he'll ever get about something, and it sounds like he's an issue in this..." he looks at Dawn and Vic and Mike.

"And I get the impression we should get the info dump over food. I can call Giorgio's and have them prepare a Titan Special."

Dawn Granger has posed:
"Thanks," Dawn offers towards Coyote. Even if there was nothing major he told them, he gave a warning. That was /something/ at least. She glances over towards the others. "Let me know if there's anything I can help with. Usually when warnings like that come," she gestures vaguely towards Coyote, "I tend to listen to them."

Kaida Connolly has posed:
Looking back briefly, Coyote does simply leap into the air and become a coyote and then just seem to slip into the air. It's as if there was a door there that only he could see. He's just gone. Somewhere, off in the far distance, an anthromorphic rabbit puts down a coffee and a tablet and glares in the direction of TItan's tower before huffing and shaking his head and going back to his coffee. Meanwhile, Kaida simply stares for a long time before looking to Terry.

"Do you mind if we do this tomorrow?" She asks and then frowns, "I am kinda tired all of a sudden." She swallows and leaps down from Terry and looks up at him and then at the others, "I promise, I'll tell you what I know but...I need to sleep." She does genuinely look exhausted as she starts heading toward the stares.

Victor Stone has posed:
Vic watches Coyote go and sighs, shakes his head. "Typical," he mutters. Of what? Gods? Tricksters? All of the above, really.

"I wouldn't mind a Titans Special, but the infodump can wait if you're tired, Kaida, no problems. Call Giorgio's anyway, Terry? I'm /starving/ for some reason. And no sandwich will match what could have been." He sighs. Alas.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "I could use some food, and we can also make sure there is some left overs for Kadia if she gets middle of the night munchies." He looks over to Kadia, and says "If you need anything we are here just give us a shout." He says as he packs up some stuff, and says "Oh anyone know the pet policy for the tower?" He asks

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"Yes," Terry sighs dejectedly. Because he knows. He knows that the sandwich will probably perish to Kaida on her way down. It was the law of the jungle. She was tired. Sandwiches were born in little sandwich hatcheries so that they could be eaten by apex predators such as mighty mice. "I believe we shall need some Giorgio's to console us over that loss. You go and have a rest, hon," he says to Kaida, "I'll save you a pizza."

The Cheshire smirks at Bart's question. "Bart, my dude." He reaches over and goes to ruffle Bart's hair, "... I am a cat. I am dating a bird and the animal kingdom. I think the official pet policy in the tower is just 'pick up after yourself.' I swear that if Hades wouldn't object, Robin would have brought Cerberus back with him from Tartarus."

He whips out his phone and sends a text message to Ivy over at Giorgio's: <<The Usual!>>

They were old customers by now.

"Alright, let's go to the kitchen while we wait for it to be ready for pickup."

Dawn Granger has posed:
"Pretty sure as long as your pet doesn't eat anyone you're probably fine," Dawn says, then offers a sympathetic smile to Kaida. "Get some rest, I don't think anyone's going to blame you for that all things considered." She looks towards the others. "I'm perpetually going to be amazed by the sheer amount of calories this tower consumes in a day."
