Date of Scene: 04 November 2023
Location: MIGHTY LEOPORADON
Synopsis: A hero from another realm charges the Spider-Men to fight the evil Lord of Death! SUPAIDAMAN!
Cast of Characters: Mary Jane Watson, Jessica Drew, Cindy Moon, Mark Grayson, Peter Parker

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
It had all the makings of a strange day. Perhpas there was something in the air. Whatever it was, for those that had the abilities of a Spider-Sense to sustain them.. There was something off as they were on patrol, studying, working.. Or whatever thier daily lives took them.
Until the reason for the sensations of strangeness came!
Broadcast to each of thier brains was the figure of a Spider-Man in a mask, speaking to them from a high tech looking room, somewhere else!
<<THOSE OF THE SPIDER-CLAN, MY NAME IS TAKUYA YAMASHIRO. I ASK FOR YOUR AID. MY ENEMY, PROFESSOR MONSTER, HAS FLED TO YOUR REALITY. I CANNOT COME TO STOP HIM, SO IN MY STEAD I TRUST YOU, THOSE OF THE SPIDER-CLAN! I HAVE SENT MY FRIEND MARVELLER TO BRING YOU TO LEOPORDON TO FIGHT>>
Then broadcast to each of their brains was the image of a jet car with a familiar pattern upon it.

Jessica Drew has posed:
It wasn't often that Jessica was home or free from work, much less free and at home and able to take a nap. Naps were practically uncharted territory. She had snuggled into the cushions on her couch when she woke up like someone had clanged an alarm right over her head.

Spider sense barely covers her the jolt of energy she feels. of energy. Sitting upright, she is at the door before she realizes she is in jeans and a sweat shirt. A few minutes later, she is in her disguise of black tights outlined in red, a mask with white eyelets covering her face. Outside waiting for her is the Uber from space. She wonders if her upstairs neighbor, Mrs. Wolenski, is at her window watching as she opens the door, gets in and is whisked away.

Takuya Yamashiro...Professor Monster? Well, she would go with the flow and find out when and if her 'Uber' reached its destination.

Cindy Moon has posed:
It was a normal day. Cindy was just swinging along in Silk guise, in a sort of patrol like action that wasn't really a patrol but it *looked* like a patrol so it was enough to deter relatively intelligent criminals. Really, it was just an excuse to get out and have a little fun in the neighborhood, but if it had the side benefit of detering crime, then Silk wasn't going to question it.

So, it came as a rather large shock when the Silk-Sense (she's special, okay?) triggered with a broadcast for help. And...an image of a jet car?

"Really? A freaking jet car? Sign me up!" The swinger shifts directions in mid-swing, as graceful as anything, while she heads to where she thinks the car is at. "This is so cool....just like a sentai show. I wonder if i am going to get a morpher or something!"

Not that Cindy needed more powers. Someone just has watched a lot of TV.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Is it bad that they're going along with an interdimensional Spider-Mobile that's broadcasting something into their brains? Does that speak over to the sort of life that they lead? Things are going along the route of waht could almost be considered 'weird' by their owns tandards!
By 'weird' we meant COMPLETELY AWESOME.
The Spider-Mobile is immediately flying through the air towards some sort of.. Immense, immense floating.. Jet? No, too big to be something. Not aerodynamic. It was like some sort of giant floating ridged brick, over a hundred meters long. The Spider-Mobile goes to rush up towards the center of the giant flying brick, where a hangar door opens as they go in for a landing.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Glued to the window, Jessica still misses the transition from the familiar streets of her Chelsea neighborhood in New York City to....where? Leopordon?

Not that the SHIELD agent wasn't used to dealing with weird. Then again, there is weird and WEIRD. The vehicle and voice definitely fit the later all-caps WEIRD.

Up ahead she spots a large, not surprisingly, strange vehicle waiting for her Uber with an open bay that her pilotless jet car flies toward.

Right. It somehow all fits. Experimentally, she tries to answer the voice in her head. "Spider-clan? Do we know each other?"

Mark Grayson has posed:
When Mark Grayson was young, he had grew up watching all types of Sentai and Henshin shows, because he was trying to figure out what type of superhero he was going to be. While walking down the streets of Brooklyn, he was surprised to be called of the Spider-Clan, but he can only assume that it is because of the Spider-Comm that Peter gave him a while back.

As he runs towards the scene, he sees the giant vehicle in the air and he knows /exactly/ what to do. He puts on the speed, running faster before he jumps, taking flight behind a building. When he comes out from behind the building, he's no longer Mark Grayson, average college student, but instead, when Invincible lands on the rooftops, he announces loudly. "I respond to your call, I am...."

"Pureunsaek Mujeog-Ui !!"*

* Invincible-Blue!

Cindy Moon has posed:
Cindy drops in just as Jess gets out of her Uber, in full Spider regalia. And....Cindy doesn't give Jessica a side-glance at all. After all, there's a freakin' jet car right there!

With a definite girlish giggle, Cindy wastes no time and jumps into the open jet-car without even a second thought. "Oh, this is going to be sooo cool!" But, wait...what she supposed to announce herself?

A shrug and Cindy waves it off. After all, she swung in on webs and is wearing a costume that is blatantly spider-themed. She's pretty sure they can figure it out on their own.

Peter Parker has posed:
Spider-Man abruptly lands on the back end of the vehicle with no warning, sticking the landing with that boneless, instant negation of momentum. He wiggles his fingers hello at the gang as they jump in.

"Ahh..." Spider-Man scratches his nose, perched in a comfortably boneless squat on one of the seatbacks of the vehicle they're in. "Kiiinda," he tells Jessica. "It's something we started running into a while back. There are Spider-People in almost every reality and alternate dimension we have ever visited. There's this whole... multi... dimensional support group that exists to help us all out, in all realities," he clarifies.

When Cindy arrives, Spidey clears his throat, looks away, and adjusts his suit around his neck before continuing. "Oh hi! I mean, uh, hey, Silk," he says, projecting his voice into a lower register with a failed attempt at Sounding Cool.

"Anyway-- it's legit," he promises the others.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
The giant robot (that they've been told is MARVELLER) races through the air, looking like a giant Sphinx flying on a rocket. Boosting itself along. For the Spiders and for INVICI-BLUE, there's a viewscreen showing a man. Wearing a cloak, wielding a large scythe. He's making the gestures of yelling at them, the cloak obscuring his face, making the viewscreen unable to translate what he's saying. The scythe would look around, impacting to the ground. The ground shakes for hundreds of meters in every direction. And the man starts to grow.. And grow.. And GROW. Seeing it in a tv series is one thing - it happening in person is perhaps something entirely different.
Speaking in the heads of each of them, the SPIDER-MAN from another reality's voice speaks in a recording. <FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT FOLLOW WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY, YOU WILL FIND IT IN YOURSELVES TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND STOP HIM.>>
    And the recording speaks.
    MARVELLER! CHANGE-O LEOPORADON!>>

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Legit," Spiderwoman repeats skeptically, climbing out of the car. Clinging to its side with the ease of spiderkind, she faces Peter, mirroring his comfortable crouch.

"If you say so. The multi-dimension shtick is new to me but I'm ready to roll with it," the Yiddish slang sounding slightly odd with her Oxford accent. "Oh, hello, Silk." Her white eyelets widen slightly as she gazes at the young man. "And ah... Pureunsaek Muejog-Ui?"

The loud inner voice cuts out the rest of her greeting as well as the the oversized image of their reason for being transported to another dimension. Her head rocks back as she tracks the man expanding to outlandish proportions.

"Well, he's not wrong about that."

Mark Grayson has posed:
"It's Invincible. Caught up in the moment." Invincible admits, a sheepish little run of his hand over the back of his mask. But with the robot expanding, Mark steps back.

And he's looking around after doing a quick count. "There's four of us. So one on each arm and leg - I assume that Marveller is going to be one handling the head and giving us information." he explains, "At least, that's how it works in Power Rangers. Though..." he points at Spider-Man. "You're totally a Red Ranger. Though Spiderwoman could be too, I'll let you figure out who leads!" And he he jumps into the right arm jump-chair!

Cindy Moon has posed:
"Oh cra, err....Hello, Spider-people!" Yes, there might be just a little awkwardness between certain spider-types. But, only momentarily. After all....they are in a robot?!? "Wait, wait, wait. We are in a mecha? Like, do we get our own zords now or something? Because I always wanted my own zord."

Yes....someone has watched entirely too much television.

And...as the man with the scythe starts to grow to kaiju proportions, it just reinforces the sentai trope firmly entrenched in Cindy's mind. "What?! Make my monster grow? Already? That's usually saved for the third act."

Invincible gets a snap point as he brings up the Power Rangers. "Yes! That's what I thought! I can be the Black ranger. Or white, or something. It doesn't matter, though I am not really the pink type." Still...there's an empty chair....time to control a leg! Maybe...

Peter Parker has posed:
"Heyyy Invincible," Spidey says with a wave. "Might need your help on this one buddy, I'm more Star Wars than Manga," Spidey confesses. "You'll have to let me know if I'm not on theme, 'kay?"

"I can say I am absolutely *not* qualified to pilot a head, let alone a whole mecha. I'll take one of the arms," Spidey declares. "Spider-Woman, you want to grab the other arm, and Invincible--" Spidey gestures vaguely in the direction of the legs. "Go down there and show us all how knees work," he encourages.

Spidey backflips off the ride and starts ascending to where the right arm controls are, and once he's situated, he starts immediately trying to sort out how the controls work.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
The controls on the console look like something out of the TOS Era Enterprise. Buttons, radar and sonar domes, and a pair of large joysticks. As Spider-Man goes to take the seat, the panels go to automatically shift to give him a better view of it. A digital projector shows LEOPORADON as Spider-Woman, Silk, and Invincible go to take their positions on the limbs! Each limb flashing showing thier location.

Each of the Spider-People has a surprisingly large array showing them the damage status of the giant robot, even as the front panels of the chest slide down to the classic webs symbol!

And then PROFESSOR MONSTER is charging at them with glowing scythe! As the Spider-Rangers take their seats alert panels go off as the ground shakes, and the huge glowing scythe goes to lance over at them, charged with dark powers!

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Not on theme," Spiderwoman sputters to herself. But the military training she'd received cuts across the inner voice. A neatly performed piroette takes her to the control panel. After orienting herself, the lights helpfully flashing to show her to her seat, Spiderwoman situates herself.

"Righto, left arm it is!" she throws him a thumbs up then centers her attention on the control panel. In the nick of time, the pounding steps of their adversary vibrating up through the robot as he charges them.

Jess begins to play the panel like a virtuoso pianist, stabbing buttons, "Come on, come on." The left arm rises, the giant hand balling into a fist, raised to smash the charging monster.

"TAKE THAT!"

Mark Grayson has posed:
With Spider-Man wanting an arm, Invincible moves to take a seat on the right leg. "Professor Monster's closing it. Get ready for the..." the swipe of the scythe shakes the Leo and causes sparks to fly from Mark's control panel!

"Ooof!" he calls out. "Let's see how he likes..." he works the controls, and he follows up Jessica's punch with...

"SONIC KNEE!" And he drives the knee up to collide with Professor Monster as mach speeds!

Cindy Moon has posed:
Whoa. It really is happening. Silk...is helping...to pilot a mech. A mech fighting a gigantic monster. The fangirl is threatening to burst out. No...first there is a fight to win!

What some people don't realize that throwing a sonic knee with one leg means a stable plant leg for the other side. But, fortunately, Cindy's martial arts experience comes into play. She reaches up to her console, making sure her leg remains stable. Can't have the giant robot fall over. And, despite the fact that she seemingly is doing nothing, there is a big grin on Silk's face. Or, rather, if there wasn't a mask on the lower half, it would be apparent.

Peter Parker has posed:
"Yeah-- I don't exactly know the rules here either, SW," Spider-Man admits to Jessica. "So, y'know, in the words of Tony Stark: fake it 'til you make it."

It takes him a few moments to figure out how the controls work and the interface mechanism, but he's got good reflexes and he's a fast learner. The rig shakes violently with the two monster blows that Jessica and Mark deliver; Spidey plays it safe and lifts the arm to block a riposte from their massive adversary. "Am I supposed to be yelling things like 'Ultimate Stopping Block' when I do this, or is that just for fun?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
The scythe goes to swing in to hit the arm of Leoporadon! It impacts over hard and cuts deep into the metal frame! The massive robot shudders from the impact as energy wars with armor, brutal alien weapon fighting hardy alien shielding until it was broken over by the PUNCH thrown by Jessica's arm! It goes to slam Professor Monster backwards, opening him up for the SONIC KNEE that slams into him! A barrage of sonic concussive blasts sending him barreling away!

Leoporadon braces, even as the first exchange has been made! Professor Monster would sneer, his voice doom-laden and echoing through the mecha! "You wretched Spider-Things are FOOLS! FOOLS to think you could defeat me!" The huge scythe goes to twirl, building up energy within it and getting ready to blast a massive energy blast at the leviathan facing off with it!

Jessica Drew has posed:
A button flashes a brilliant red, next to it a capped trigger that Spiderwoman recognizes as a weapon's lock of some kind. With a snick, she uncaps the trigger and flips it open. Leoporadon's balled fist retracts, a shield unfolding in its place. It forms into a giant web held up to face the scythe.

"Have it, Monster man!"

Mark Grayson has posed:
Working in conjunction with Cindy, Mark brings up the Spider Protetor! The leg shields deploy and come to life - deflecting Professor Monster's latest attack in a violent flash of light! As the light clears, Mark looks at his panel.

"Hey, guys, we must have this guy worn down a little!" he points to a button on his panel. "This says Sword Vigor, and it's flashing!" He doesn't press it yet - it's not solid.

Peter Parker has posed:
Spider-Man is getting the hang of this. "Uh, buttons buttons buttons, who's got a --" One of the flashing lights blinks solid and it grabs his attention. "What's this-- 'Omega Flare'?" he reads aloud. "Okay, that sounds pretty badass. Prepare for OMEGA FLARE!" he shouts at the other teammates, and Does The Thing.

His arm folds open to reveal a crystal set in the elbow joint and it explodes in a blinding flare of light that fills the sky horizon to horizon with inescapable white light.

"Okay, I can't see anything now ,that's on me," Spidey says when the monitors don't clear up instantly.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
The blast of webbing as Marka nd Cindy use the SPIDER-PROTECTOR to block off the scythe's energy beam, as the webbing shield continuously regenerates as the scythe keeps up a barrage! It's a stalemate up until Spidey goes to push the buttons for the OMEGA FLARE! This causes the monitors to flash over with warning as the system fritzes! And then charging through the massive flare is Professor Monster, going to try and swing the scythe right towards the central station of LEOPORADON!

From his position, Peter can see that Professor Monster's eyes are closed - he's fighting blind!

Jessica Drew has posed:
Even with her eyes averted from the screen, Spiderwoman sees blue afterimages. Blinking and rubbing her eyes, she uncaps an orange trigger on the console. "Let's see what this one does."

The spider web shield collapses into itself. The left arm rotates, winding up for a punch. Bracing herself against the console, her mouth gapes open as the arm retracts and then explodes into a punch resembling a rocket launch. Under the uncapped trigger, words flash:

        *ARM ROCKET*

Mark Grayson has posed:
"Keep it up, we almost have him... oh!" The Omega flare goes off, blinding Mark, and he's trying to stumble-walk the mech to try to figure out which way to go. But it seems that he can't figure out that out - or is going against Cindy on accident as the pair of them try to work in concert.

"It's up to you two!" he calls out to Peter and Jessica. That sword button is still flashing.
