Location: Monster Island
Synopsis: Advanced Idea Mechanics awakens the denizens of Monster Island. A group of SHIELD Agents and members of Xavier's School for the Gifted come to investigate. Alas, the Kaiju of the island are wakened and leave the island. And thus the world shall suffer the wrath of the awakened giants.
Cast of Characters: Emma Frost, Tabitha Smith, Evan Sabahnur, Nico Minoru, Jemma Simmons, James Proudstar, Julian Keller
Tinyplot: Lord of the Monsters

Emma Frost has posed:
Monster Isle. Located off the coast of Japan, in the Sea of Ohtosk, throughout the decades had been a staging ground for giant beasts, things of myth. One of the most heavily monitored places on Earth, watched by satellite, coast watchers, and the occasional boat. Heavily restricted, almost no one could go in without a heavy military escort.
So when all of the monitoring stations around the island would simultaneously go offline and coastal watchers would send out vague alerts, it would get a fast response. A group would teleport in a first wave - this primarily from Xavier's. To explore and get some field skills in somewhere that was not the Savage Land.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
It's not really a beach vacay, but being that in Westchester it is stupid cold, of course Tabitha Smith is gonna jump on the chance to not freeze her fits and pieces off. Porting in with the rest of the contingent the blonde grins as she takes a look around. As much to check the scenery as to start sweeping for any psychic signatures.

Wonky things afoot after all. There might be more than just giant ass monsters about.

While in uniform for the most part. Black jacket with yellow padding on the chest and sleeves, along with matching black pants and yellow boots. Tabby pushes the pair of red tinted glasses up on her nose.

She also made sure to bring a cooler and a backpack with a blanket and towels. She wants some sun and she will get it even if she has to explode a Kaiju to do it.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
Evan was at the school when Emma showed up and managed to get himself included in the team headed to Monster Island. So far he hadn't managed to worm his way into the X-Men, so he jumped at the chance to test himself. He'd been really working on his abilities for the past six months or so, and he felt he was ready.

After the teleport, he looks around the area for a moment, then looks back to Emma. "So is there a plan or something? Or do we just start moving until we find something interesting?"

Nico Minoru has posed:
Vacation. It's something that a Miss Nico Minoru has not been able to go on in quite some time. Especially since this was a vacation to visit non-villainous relatives. Still, ever since she joined WAND, her whereabouts would be known to SHIELD and thus the local governments, and so when things go dark, she got the call on her comm.

"Gomenasai, obachan.." she tells her grandmother (a non witchy one), as she stands up from the dinner table and cuts herself to bring forth the Staff of One. Fortunately for her, she's learned how to teleport more efficiently without the the need to use up a spell, and so she vorps out of existence to whereever the other SHIELD agents would be in the area.

Emma Frost has posed:
The group arrives - Nico Minoru with some others, and the portion from Xavier's being teleported in by the pink Blink. Emma gazes up and over at the coastline and makes a face. "Lovely, what a dreary locale. It should be bulldozed."

Tabitha is picking up signatures. Lots and lots of signatures. It's hard to focus, perhaps. There are creatures here that have alien thought processes in the same way that things in space would. That just do nto think on the same sort of wavelength as a human does.

One of the SHIELD Agents with Nico lets out a groan, "I thought going to Japan wouldn't quite be like this." One of the SHIELD Agents deployed to Okinawa, to the large US military base there. Freshly so by the fact his uniform was fully pressed and ironed.

Emma sighs to Evan, "We look. I'd say for something amiss but this entire -place- is. So I suppose we try and look for something relatively ordinary here."

Nico Minoru has posed:
Of course her uniform is pressed and ironed. Her grandmother wouldn't let her leave without making sure she looks clean and crisp. First impressions and all that, and this is still early in her WAND career.

Spying the smoke about a kilometer away, Nico frowns and looks towards the others gathered with her, pointing it out. "Can we send over a drone to check it out?" She /would/ fly, but that seems like a waste if there's nothing really going on.

"That way it can do some simple recon and see if there's anyone in danger."

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
Evan considers for a moment, then says "Yeah, an island full of giant monsters probably would be hard to find anything strange on. Well, lead on. We might as well cover some ground and see if anything tries to eat us."

At mention of the smoke he nods, saying, "Seems like that might be the best place to start, given the lack of anything else but trees and such."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
"It's loud as hell psychically." Tabby might have been at the telepath game about a year or so now it feels like. But she's still pretty green and hasn't gotten her filters completely sorted out like a more experienced psychic like Emma.

"There's humans or at least close enough." she says and grins to Nico as the mage spots the smoke and Tabby has a direction to focus. As for drones she grins at the WAND agent in training. "I don't think we'll need a mechanical drone. We just get close enough someone can get real peepers on what's there and I and Emma can get a better read on intent." she suggests an alternative. "Sneaky sneaky times and all that!" she says while dragging the cooler behind her which is probably not helpful to a more covert operation.

"Evan, buddy. We live in a world of Awesome made Mundane."

Jemma Simmons has posed:
"And just how did you think Japan would be like?" That sharp tone, with the unmistakable British accent, is the first clue that another SHIELD agent has arrived on scene, just a little behind the main SHIELD contingent. The other clue? The brunette hair and the standard SHIELD equipment that isn't exactly standard...but more so cutting edge tech. Including a tactical backpack with all sorts of untold goodies inside.

Seems that, for strange biology, SHIELD decided to send their premier biochem scientist out. Doctor Jemma Simmons is in the house. Or, rather, on location, as it were.

"If you were anticipating giant radioactive monsters fighting mechanical versions of themselves, flanked by space hydras and giant moths, then I am quite afraid you have watched one too many monster movies. The last thing that we want to witness is an all out brawl." Aww....Jemma is up on the pop culture.

James Proudstar has posed:
The class had been going well, he should have known something would go wrong from that alone. But he was enjoying teaching a group of students self basic and some advanced self-defence. The Xavier's West Coast facility was smaller that its sister school in Westchester and had fewer students, these kids were not training to be X-Men, well, not according to the staff. He knew how that was, his own second class has been brought in under much the same auspices and now look at them.

Emma's alert came through and James sighed, he look at the coordinates and nodded if her pushed himself he could make it in ten minutes. "Okay kids, great job, but I've got to end this early mutant heroes work is never done and all that." He gave them an apologetic smile, and listens to the groans, "Okay, I'll be back in two weeks. I want you to work on what I taught you."

And with that he is gone, straight up and out, going super sonic and then pushing himself using a roughly adjusted hyperbolic trajectory to put gravity on his side, something Angel and Sunfire stressed. He hadn't tested his stop speed, wasn't even really sure how he flew. He just went as fast as he needed to, and today... well he made it to the island a few minutes after the teleporting team had gotten gathered and dressed, prepped and lined up an LZ. I mean teleporting teams into danger doesn't just happen... in most instance.$r    It isn't hard to find the Xavier's team, the psychic 'pins' help but he can also catch their scent on the wind and see them from miles away he also sees something else and groans, <<Folks, we got AIM on site and a big piece of tech that is now a crater. That's bad right? You want me to rendezvous or check it out?>> Comes with the message that James Proudstar has entered the chat over the psychic link.

Emma Frost has posed:
In the distance, the smoke from the fire picks up a bit. Whatever was burning just was hit with something that snuffed it out some - likely someone was dumping water on it.
Emma gives a nod over at Evan, "Quite. It's rather unusual." she would deadpan over at Tabitha. "But, it's the easiest way to pick things out. Just scan for the mundane in a land of the lost." Still looking at Tabitha really, really weirdly when it came to dragging the cooler.
To Warpath, something easy to pick out here is the total abscence of things related to the tropics. Insect life. There are no mosquitos here at all. No small rodents. No small predators or prey. No birds.
The agent with Jemma and Nico looks over at her and errs, "Uh.. Yeah. I mean.." Yes, his knowledge of everything was purely from movies and anime. One of those.
Up in the air, Warpath can pass along to the rest the presence of a group of AIM Agents. It's easy now for those who are scanning telepathically to pick them up. Eight of them, all despite the heat wearing their beekeeper Hazmat suits. One is complaining..
"Come here, and take the readings. Get some scans, some tissue samples, and easy peasy. Instead we've been ehre for days and we haven't found a single -one-. How hard can it be to find a giant monster!? There's gotta be nothing here."

Nico Minoru has posed:
It's kind hard to miss the hunk of muscle flying at subsonic speeds up in the air. Nico blinks briefly as she looks upwards and squints for a few moments, letting out a bit of a whistle at the sight. "It'd be so much easier if we knew what we were looking for."

Running her fingers through her dark locks with her Witcharm, she looks towards her fellow SHIELDmates. "Worse comes to worst, if you hear me yell POWER RANGERS HENSHIN, just go with it." Cause clearly, there needs to at least be five Super Sentai if any sort of Megazord is going to come up to fight or capture or subdue any giant kaiju.

This is what you get when you get a young Japanese sorceress as a resident occult 'expert.'

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
Evan pauses a moment, suddenly looking all around the area. "There's something..." He pauses again, then turns a circle, looking all around. His skin seems to ripple and take on a somewhat metallic sheen as he continues to search for something.

His eyes shift colors as he looks around again, definitely searching for something. He finally comes to a stop facing a small mountain nearby and points at it. "That thing is putting off a lot of heat energy. And I could swear it's watching us. Anyone else get that feeling? I think we found our first really weird thing."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Another friendly presence shows up on the psychic radar. and one that actually helps Tabitha seem even more relaxed. That being Jimmy Proudstar. <<Jimmy Jam! What's shaking up high?>> super strong flying brick ex-boyfriends make awesome scouts among other things. When she gets a ping of who these people being scouted are she gets a frowny face.

<<Anyone want to take bets they wanna make Kaiju Cyborgs? Giant Bears and Dinosaurs and sentinels all built into one. Gross. I am not a fan of animal or kaiju cruelty>> she states including even the SHIELD agents like Nico and Jemma into the mind link.

There's a nod to Evan though Tabitha doesn't physically react like he does. Not her powerset after all. <<Feels kinda like bugs, ants?>> she thinks out with a shrug.

Julian Keller has posed:
Julian Keller did not teleport with the group. He hasn't been back to Xaviers in so long, but he caught wind there there was something amiss in the Land of the Monster's so he contacted Emma, to let her know he'd be there, with bells on, at precisely 2:43 local standard time. And out of the direction from the north, this green aura gets closer and closer.

"Hey. What channel we on? IS this the right one? Helllloooo? Anybody out there? Check check. Shit I think this thing is busted." Comes the crisp voice of Hellion over the coms. "I'm here." He flies over head, dressed in a that classic skin tight suit black and red that all comic super heroes seem to love to wear.

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar nods, he's hovering in the air about a hundred feet above the group, "Hey Tabs, good to see you, too." James smiles at the loquaicious blonde. "Okay, so spooky watching mountain to the right of me, mad scientist beekeepers to the left. and here I am stuck in the middle with you all?" he smiles but remains airborne for now, providing overwatch, just as Scott taught him. "Any preferences? One or the other? Split the party? I mean, if this is just a research team that AIM group should fold pretty quick and we can see if they're a part of this?" James raises his eyebrows at Julian, "We can hear you he calls over." He takes in the mixed group but focuses on Nico with a chuckles and grin, "Hey, if Shield is holding Zord tech, now would be the time." He tilts his head as he regards her just a bit, considering but then something catches his attention, "Speaking of ants, where are they? I'm not hearing any insects, birds, not even a small scurrying mammal. I mean, these kaiju are immense they wouldn't hunt anything that small?" he instinctively turns towards the water to evaluate the coastline, "No Seismic activity right?" A tsunami would be right on theme.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
"Kaiju cyborgs?"

Jemma speaks out the words that she thought she heard. "Apparently, someone else here is a fan of Japanese pop culture too." It takes a moment to realize that while Jemma did hear the words, they were not exactly spoken. Which...causes the scientist to pause. "Oh. Telepathy. Interesting."

For those sensitive to the mental realm, there does seem to be more caution set within Jemma's mindscape. Apparently, she is a little wary of mental reading.

Can't imagine why. It isn't like her head is full of SHIELD tech secrets.

Anyways....when a small mountain gathers attention, Jemma turns towards it. A hand dips into the backpack to pull out a tablet. One linked up to SHIELD satellites. "Let's see if there is anything in particular that is unusual with that location..."

Emma Frost has posed:
The talk of Kaiju Cyborgs gets a roll of the eyes of Emma. "Lovely. As if we don't have enough ridiculity lately. I'm going to veto that idea purely on scale. How are you going to make things at such a ridiculous size?" Don't listen to her. Kaiju cyborgs are awesome.

Evan's reading enough heat coming off the 'mountain' to qualify it as a volcano. But there's no massive amount of steam or lava coming off it. The air is rather normal for a tropical island. For those who are telepathically aware, or just glancing about the landscape.. There is the sense of being watched. At such a scale of being so, so..
    Small.
Emma goes to take a moment tos can in Jemma's direction curiously. But she doesn't push it.
Jemma's satellite transponder is not getting reception with the satellite. Nothing is wrong, it's broadcasting, as of right before she arrived, the satellite was transmitting. It has all the info as of from a few minutes ago.
Warpath is up above the first to see it, along with Hellion that is up in the sky and looking down. The mountain..
Just blinked. THEN there's a bunch of seismic activity going on. Those on the ground would be feeling like they were being thrown into a mosh pit.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
As the first rumbles of the earthquake? monsterquake? start to hit, Evan takes flight on twin streams of energy. The easiest way to avoid an earthquake is not to be on the ground, after all. As he looks towards the monster that is apparently waking up from a nap, his right arm shifts, going metallic silver and forming into some kind of cannon by the looks of it. Energy gathers in the barrel, waiting to be released if needed.

"Ok, I think we found a monster. I haven't studied this place, anyone know if they're generally neutral, or is it likely to try and eat or flatten us? Don't want to tick it off if it's not going to come after us."

Nico Minoru has posed:
There's a rather loud telekinetic that gets her attention, taking it away from the mountain of muscle in the air. Hey, she's a young woman still, so she's going to look at the superheroic eyecandy when she can. Isn't that one of the main reasons she joined WAND?

"Don't judge. If you are going to go against any oversized creature, giant robots have /always/ been the answer." Just watch most shows about them in Japan or abroad!
Shetill, considering that the question of where all the living beings are has yet to be answered, Nico decides to, just to piss Emma off more, use another pop culture solution. Taking out a map of the island, she spreads it out and simply states:

I SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT I AM UP TO NO GOOD.

It isn't a spell she's used before, and so the map of the island takes on a Marauder's map quality about it, identifying the most important living things on the island, mainly people and kaiju.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
"Yeah, a while back AIM got their hands on sentinel tech. Started working on like making cyborgs with it. Bears and wolves up in like Canada or near enough to it. Then dinosaurs in the Savage Land. One hand, it's like awesome, the other. Animal Cruelty. Not cool torturing critters in order to then torture people." Tabby says aloud as she exposits to Jemma. Though via the mind link, Julian and Jimmy get to hear what she says as well. Comms can be finicky sometimes. Emma gets a smirk.

"Just saying, like precedent." it's not out of the question.

the rumbling finally gets the blonde letting go of the cooler in hand and as she wobbles and tries to stay on her feet she pouts. "The BEER! My Mimossas!" priorities can be skewed while she makes sure everyone is actually still pinging to her telepathically. <<So everyone still got their tits and bits? Hidden volcano lair, anyone?>>

The Map Nico works up getting a grin and and quick flash of Dio Horns while it is intended to annoy Emma. <<We'll know if something is a predator if they come after us. Or if it's being controlled. Gotta figure the port in got pinged by someone.>> she adds switching back to telepathy once more.

Julian Keller has posed:
"Oh, there you guys are." Hellion calls out over comms. "Christ on a cracker, did you get taller Warpath? Certainly didn't get any prettier." Julian quips moving to hover beside the other man. A second goes by and he slowly adjusts his height so he's just a fraction taller then the literal giant. It's good to be able to fly. "So, what we h.. Did that mountain just blink?"

Hellion was situated facing that direction as he chitty chatted with Warpath. "Guys. The mountain ain't a mountain. It's flirting with Warpath." He glances at the grouping below, he doesn't know anyone really besides the great and powerful Emma. "Welp, feel like getting squished? I mean I won't, but you certainly might," he says to Warpath. In a blink, though, not waiting for a response, Hellion is heroically (read foolishly) blasting towards his date with getting squished. (They call that foreshadowing, maybe.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
The senior SHIELD agent blinks mildly as Jemma watches Nico pull a Harry Potter and uses a map to do what her satellite link is failing to provide. "Well, I suppose one could do that as well." Never mind the fact that Jemma sounds a little like Emma Watson when she speaks, so the Hermione vibe is strong with her. All she would need is a cloak and a wand and she might as well be in house Gryffindor. Though, clearly, Jemma is a Ravenclaw.

When the mountain actually blinks, that's startling. When the island shivers, that's another. Enough so that even a magical map would be like a bit of overkill. Yes, there is definitely a big creature here. And....the mountain that isn't a mountain is ground zero.

"Well, I guess there is some basis of truth. I suppose you will get to see a giant creature after all."

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar purses his lips, "Emma, you've met Hank, never tell the scientists they can't do it. Just smile and make it seem boring. They'll move on." He raises an eyebrow at Nico, thinking of Sentinels, and certain Cyborg grizzly who nearly killed him "Yeah, I'm aware. AIM is aware. That bear was no joke, and it was just a Kodiak barely a couple of tons in mass." Jim snorts, "Potter too? Umm, is that even allowed? I heard Rowling is very litigious."

Then of course all hell breaks loose on the ground, James drops lower offering a hand to Tabs, Nico, Jemma and anyone else he can carry. Which is a lot. "I can get some of you out of here. Julian... " Jim sighs, "Right, I don't suppose there's a helicarrier or quinjet nearby that can serve as a mobile base? I can only hold you for.. I'd like to have my hands free."

Emma Frost has posed:
The map that Nico is making has lots of flashing bits. Here's an AIM camp. Rapidly turning into -was- an AIM Camp. There's where they are. There's where the fliers are. There's where all the giant glowy dots are that are.. There's a worrying, worrying number of giant glowy dots on the map. A worrying, worrying number.
Emma goes to glare over at Nico and is about to say something things would shake and she would stumble. Rapidly transforming to diamond and bracing her hand up on a tree that was bending double.
In the land of the monsters, did it matter what they were? You always went well with ketchup to a dragon.
Hellion would charge in over at the rapidly uncurling mountain, revealing itself to be a massive, monstrous lizard-like Deviant. He charges right in towards the eye, which is the size of a small house. He goe sto fly towards it heroically, and would just clobbber-bounce OFF it in a way that has the giant eye blink. The creature lets out a shriek that shakes the entire island.
Echoing shrieks and roars fill the air as more mountains and flora about the island start to rise up. Beats of wings that might be scaled like skyscrapers, heat and fire in every direction. For those that had telepathy, for those that had enhanced senses, everything is simply overloading for the sheer amount of PRESENCE.
The glowy dots on the Marauder's Map are all moving very, very fast.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
"Ok, this could be a bad thing. We've got a lot of movement from the trees and stuff I see flying through the air. I think the entire island just work up from a nap, and I think they might be kind of cranky. Do you want to attack or give it a minute to see if it's us they're after?"

"If we need to, I can get everyone into the air and away from stompy monsters." At first it's hard to tell, but when he surpasses Proudstar's height there's no question that he's growing. "I'd rather not hurt these guys if I don't have to, but if I need to I will."

He's up to about fifty feet now, and that plasma cannon arm has been growing right along with the rest of him. He may not be a robot, but shades of Ultraman perhaps?

Nico Minoru has posed:
The map lights up like it's Christmas... or in this case, definitely X-Mas.

Nico squints for a few moments and starts to brace herself, wobbling just a bit like bad Power Rangers actors when someone needed teenagers with attitude. When the big guy offers a lift, she definitely takes it as she squints and states the obvious.

"The mountain is moving. Mountains don't move like that!" she says, grasping onto the Staff of One as she hrmms for a few moments and starts counting.

Are there enough of them to form Voltron/Megazord/any other robot combiner? That she's still figuring out.

"What happened to the AIM agents? Are they okay?" Cause even if they're technically evil, they don't need to get eaten. That's just cruel.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
"So umm yeah!" she says aloud once everyone else is in non shouting range. The moving dots on the map and the huge shrieks and roars and all the sounds ger her looking a little nervous. "Everything is so fricking loud I'm getting a migraine." she states and starts to turn that expression into a frown.

She's concentrating and the other mutants with telepathic powers might also be hearing an idea from the black clad blonde. <<So, kinda wish Cerebro was portable. We could have sent a big old 'CHILL' command to everything.>> to be fair. Tabbitha is actually trying, using all that same energy she usually uses to create her explosions into the psychic equivalent of 'No, settle down'. But when you have creatures that are also mountains swatting telekinetics away. It kind of lacks power. "So we need to find what stirred the hornets nest up and shut it the hell up before anything here decides to bail for a mainland" She does have one idea when Evan starts turning his arm into a plasma cannon.

No sooner does that finish when Boom-Boom places a hand on that shoulder and he might feel a hell of an electrical tingle and maybe some distinctly extra charge in that cannon arm. "Might not make a divot, but it should know it might not have a great time. Hellion. I dunno if my control is gonna mingle with Evan's. Wanna make sure this thing goes up whatever passes for a nose?" she suggests as an extra layer of fun to the mutant circuit.

Julian Keller has posed:
This one is going to go down for the ages. Green glowing man against a giant lizard like-deviant, that is henceforth called MERLE. Thing about giant lizards named MERLE, they are scary but they aren't exactly the most agile of things. Still Hellion dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodges about the creature sending TK waves over and over again at MERLE. "Sure Tabs, you want me to ask for it to hold still for a picture while I'm at it?! It's damn giant lizard named MERLE not a damn kid!"

Still Julian tries to do as asked, pushing and blasting with green TK energy, however Julian flies a little to close and the TKfly that is Hellion gets swatted out of the sky by a sudden movement of MERLE's tail. Julian plummets straight to the ground and lands skipping off the ground. "A little help here?!?!" Julian curess in anger over the comms. He shakely rises to his feet, shaking his head trying to clear the cob webs. A shadow covers him, "Guys, who turned out the..." there is nothing but the sound of a giant foot hitting the ground sending a shockwave outwards of dust and air. Whoosh.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
For a moment, as Jemma puts away her seemingly useless tablet, she closes her eyes and holds still for a moment. A truly challenging feat, considering the way the island is shaking. But...she does manage to do so...and for a prolonged period remains silent.

Then, with a start, the SHIELD scientist shifts, securing the tablet in her bag while extracting her ICER. "There is approximately twelve creatures that are active as of now." Jemma speaks with such definite assurance that few would attempt to argue with her. Yet, she didn't look at Nico's map...and her tablet showed nothing. How could Simmons know what she is speaking of?

That question remains unanswered as Jemma moves into action. She directs the agents that are not magical to retreat in a direction that seems arbitrary....but yet appears to be the safest route. "Use of ICERS only. Judging from the shockwaves, live ammo is only going to anger the creatures. And, if you should find wayward AIM agents, encourage them that vacating is in their best interests." In other words....knock them out and drag them off if needed.

Emma Frost has posed:
The group of AIM Agents can be picked up huddling in a circle and screaming in raw terror. "This si all your fault!" "Yeah, your fault Bill!" "You just HAD to open your wide mouth!" "Hey!" The argument goes back and forth. There is a consensus that it is, in fact, Bill's fault for jinxing them. So the democratic system works! Presuming they all survive it being BIll's fault. On the upside, they came to agreement!
There are a dozen huge -things- leaving the island. Huge, and huger seems to be the scale. It's all glorious in a completely terrifying sort of way to see things hundreds of feet tall, that weigh tens of thousands of tons smashing their way off the place. Flying. Stomping. Jumping. However it is.. The monsters have woken up. And are leaving the island.
As Julian goes to slam into the giant Deviant'esque lizard-mountain, it's head is snapped about over as it regards the fifty foot tall Attack of the Evan. Teh glowing cannon has it taking a breath back, massive gusts of air starting to build about it as if just about to unleash a cyclone, air about it turning to frost..
And the enhanced blast goe sto strike it over across the face as it goes stumbling back, the huge hypercharged wind-release it was building up to blasting out and into space creating a vortex! Now Jemma has her satellite uplink again. And probably lots and lots of screeching alerts.
They've made the kaiju notice them, acknowledge their existence.. And maybe even hurt it. Also it's starting to fall towards them. The hundred meter or so tall, ninety thousand or so tons giant beast is starting to tumble towards them, dazed..

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
After the cannon discharges, Evan lets out a whoo! as this is a very different experience than sniping at static targets to practice with the thing. This is followed by an uh-oh as MERLE starts to roll towards the very squishable people remaining on the ground.

Fortunately he's got an immediate solution to the problem. Straining, he expands again, topping a hundred feet or so before reaching down and just scooping up the dirt the party is standing on along with the people standing on it and then takes to the sky again, letting the tumbling behemoth crush all the trees it likes now that the people he came with are out of danger.

"Try not to move around too much, I'd hate to drop anyone. I'll put you back down in a sec, once that thing is a little bit further away." Putting action to words, once it has tumbled by, he returns the divot of island the others are standing on back to where it was dug out from.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Well, Julian might have gotten some wirecrossed in what Tabitha was planning. She's not that great a tactician. So that hit he takes is technically on her. The woman's eyes rolling. "Nice try Hellion. But holding the wrong ball." she says and sighs as she starts looking over Evan's shoulder or hanging onto it as he gets a bit big to do so un her own and keep the power channeling. Or at least along the length of that plasma cannon arm being wound up and charged. Her own bioelectricity added to whatever energy Evan is charging for the blast.

To the rest of the group, Tabby grins. "Maybe wanna cover your ears!" she states before Evan finally lets the blast go BOOM!

Of course by helping contribute to the blast she put as much in as she could. She's pretty much not running. Handy that Evan still has steam to move everyone while she perches on his shoulder.

Replacing that divot. Tabby grins. "You play golf?" standard etiquette after all.

Alas, the cooler was lost as far as Tabitha could see in the scooping and ground shaking.

Julian Keller has posed:
The green glow under the foot of MERLE can't easily be seen. Those with powers to detect such things, though will know that a strong TK shield went up. Then they would feel and likely see the green glowing lifting to foot of MERLE the Kaiju up and enough so that the blast hits him in the kisser. Julian struggles to his feet to stagger away from the monster, his skin tight suit torn in the back revealing a fresh wound. "I could be in Cabo, fucking hell." He says in anger over the coms. He's not dead!

But Julian is pissed. Pissed and angered at seemingly dealing things with by himself, Hellion's rush in ask questions later. Everything about the situation angers him. His eyes start to glow brighter. Suddenly a tree to his right shatters sending shards all over, one piece flying and nicking Julian in the arm, leaving a red bleeding wound. The pain only enhances his anger and suddenly trees all around him for 50 meters shatter and explode. Then it goes further. 75 meters. There is no sound, just seething rage field green anger destroying everything at random in uncontrollable ways. Maybe a Kaiju heart will get exploded? Gross and cool at the same time.

At 100 meters it all stops and the powerful TK Hellion, crumples to the ground. Tylenol will NOT help his headache. At least he's taking a nap now, right?

Nico Minoru has posed:
Oooooh shiz. The giant kaiju is falling. They are more than likely in the way, and that is never a good thing. Will there be enough space and time to make sure they don't get squished?

Nico has to think of her feet once more, as she clutches onto that universally powerful staff of hers.

"ITS TIME TO TRY DEFYING GRAVITY!"

Yes, she even says it in that musical sense, focusing the spell onto the stumbling, dazed, and confused kaiju. Kaijus weeble and bobble but they don't fall down.

Emma Frost has posed:
Evan's going to brace over to receive and move to ease the gargantuan that's threatening to tumble atop them away after just a moment as Nico goes in with her magic! The Staff of One shows off how it's one of the most powerful magical items as the ninety thousand ton leviathan would float up into the air. Bruised and cofused, it would flap it's arms about as if trying to figure out what was going on. Apparently deciding whatever was going on wasn't worth the trouble.. It would blast out with a gust of cyclone air that would make every tree on the island shake, the heads of the AIM Agents hit one another repeatedly like vibrating coconuts..
And then blast away in another direction!
On the upside, they were alone on the island and they were safe from the monsters. On the downside..
Every single monster was now off the island. This would probably make some people upset.
