Who Bombed the Triskelion
Date of Scene: 10 January 2024
Location: R and D Labs: Triskelion
Synopsis: A bomb threat goes off with a bang!
Cast of Characters: Jane Foster, Nico Minoru, Daisy Johnson, Mary Jane Watson, Nikolas Kamarov, Jemma Simmons

Jane Foster has posed:
Later, the timing may be a silver lining. Between 11:45 and 1:15 marks the most popular lunch hour period for typical SHIELD workers. Offices empty out into the cafeteria or surrounding commercial strips where a government salary might buy a halfway decent sandwich, shawarma, or salad. Not everyone eats at traditional Eastern noon-ish, definitely not the Euro or Asian offices, but many.

A cluster of agents gather in the expansive parking lot, hard to distinguish in their black puffers and parkas, except they're all young. Interns or the latest crop. "Why are we waiting again?"

"Did Baines have a dead battery again? What does he power his Kia with, cooking oil?"

Elsewhere, in the timely sprawl between R&D and general offices, a harried-looking woman leans into a doorway. Her ashen expression crowns her holding a tablet with a red bar on the screen, her swinging badge -- SecOps analyst 2 -- corresponding to the flash hitting the security hub for the Triskelion.

>>ALERT -- ALERT -- EMERGENCY.<<

Thirty seconds for that first gasp to become a strobing alert popping up almost everywhere not too sensitive to receive broadcasts.

>>ALERT. ACTIVE EXPLOSIVE DEVICE IN TRISKELION TOWER. WHEREABOUTS UNKNOWN.<<

Starting their afternoon with a bang, are they?

Nico Minoru has posed:
Calisthenics. That's what a certain young sorceress was doing off in the athletic training area. When the emergency alert first rings, there's a look of confusion on the young woman's features. Was it a drill? Drills happen all the time, and so she /was/ going to ignore it until the second alert comes alive.

Nico's eyes widen as she suddenly wishes she didn't use up a Marauder's Map spell already with the Staff of One. She looks around for one of the senior agents, just in case someone from WAND is needed.

There are magical explosive after all.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Lunch Break!

Best time of the work day according to one Daisy Johnson. Or at least on Wednesdays because it's TAKEOUT DAY. And she gets to spend lunch hour with her best bud Jemma Simmons at the lab, spilling tea over various SHIELD matters. Like when will Jenkins discover Fitz's chocolate stash. All important matters of course.

So there is Daisy, settled in, takeout box open, chopsticks reaching in to take that first bite. Oh yes, smells delicious. All until....

ALERT ALERT all over comms. That has Daisy pause and let out an infuriated, "Oh, come on!" really? Right when she is about to start eating. But the seriousness of the warning gets the now more veteran Daisy to snap up to her feet quickly, takeout to the side, "Seems we are up, Jemma."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
She was at the Triskelion having just finished another mission, and had been in the cafteria grabbing lunch before heading out. She wasn't anywhere near the labs until there was the alert of explosions. She didn't feel it from her far off position (teh building was reinforced) but she knew the emergency sirens. She goes to quickly yank out her two swords - Sonja's and the blade of the Valkyr. Then she's running as fast as she can towards the location of the explosions at a full sprint. And Sonja can run very, very fast as seh darts her way past any other agents scrambling.

<<Watson en route>> she would speak over to her comm to whomever was wrangling the response team.

Nikolas Kamarov has posed:
The Russian, Nikolas, had been in the athletics training area, keeping Nico on task on her working out. He did tell her that he'd help her with her training montages. At the sound of the alarm, the Silver haired Russian doesn't even hesitate. Much faster then a human can move he's literally sweeping Nico off "Quicker this way," he tells her as he runs down the hall towards the Tower. He runs along the wall as people start to scramble.

Coming to a sliding stop, he gently places Nico upon the ground. "A bomb? How is that even possible?!" He asks, ready to enter the tower proper and going to search for a bomb. He's explosive proof. Mostly.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
It was said that the fastest way to one's heart is through his or her stomach.

It is also said that the R&D department prefers Chinese Takeout for 'incentive' (aka bribes) to have certain projects gain priority over others.

Daisy knows this time-honored system. And, even though there is no projects for her right now...the fact that there *might* be one in the future prompts the takeout. Because, if there is one thing Jemma knows about her friend....she's prepared.

Jemma's box doesn't even gets to the open stage. As per usual, she is just finishing up some calculations before taking her lunch. Really, she wouldn't take a lunch at all normally...but hey, it is Daisy and she is nothing but insisting. That is, until the alarms go off.

"Well, that is a surprise." Jemma blinks as she closes out her research and regards the alarm on her terminal. "Active explosive device. Someone is feeling particularly adventurous today." A hand reaches out to pick up her ICER, custom for her. "Well...let's go..."

Jane Foster has posed:
Agent James, SecOps 2, goes in the opposite direction down the hall into R&D as her co-workers stream past. Office staff spill out to the fire escapes, following wardens holding up coloured flags marked by bright numbers. No one immediately starts trundling down until an initial sweep to the next landing begins. Protocols are in place for safety, just that the safety teams probably hoped they'd not be used before July.

Some smart aleck shares with his group: "9 days since last incident." The message winks out as Teams abruptly stutters and keels over. Screens blink and reload in a few places around the second through sixth floors of the Triskelion. That includes a good chunk of R&D.

Report teams forming an incident centre essentially claim spot between Weapons and R&D Storage in the western labs. The analyst is soon followed by a man having an atrocious hair day, for what bit of greying-brown hair he has left. *Supervisor 4* his name-badge announces, as does his tone. "Form up, this will be a quick debriefing," he calls out, probably annoying seniors showing up on scene and actual field agents who regularly deal with these kinds of problems. Doesn't matter, he has the weight of Knowing Things on his side. He addresses all there with a voice like a guitar amp mounted to a bellows. "Agent James reported an incident a short while ago. A colleague reported that someone took an explosive device he developed from its holding place in..." A pause, and the growl coming from him is the kind to roll down someone's bones. "...his office, which was protected by normal passcard. His department for arms development has twelve people active today. All of them left or entered in the last 35 minutes, the window which he noticed the device was lost. This is a pineapple with a biological component."

"Grenade," Agent James pipes up. "He says it was like a bomb or a small grenade--"

"With a biological compound taken by a person with unknown intentions. The building is on lockdown, and we need to find it before that *person*," which sounds like 'demented yahoo', "makes more stupid decisions."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Lovely, explosive device, type unknown, used for purposes unknown. Agent Watson gets there just in time to hear that particular bit. "Has the presumed perpetrator been detained?" She's a bit behind Daisy, so hasn't heard beyond the bare minimum as she doesn't have her hands out for her blades. "And orders, Ma'am?" They're going to have to sweep the lab meter by meter to track down the thing, aren't they?
"And can you be a bit more specific as to the capabilities of the explosive?" A grenade in the lab complex from something unknown doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. Shouldn't something booming down here make a lot more noise? So if anything that's a distraction.

Nico Minoru has posed:
Did she just get carried by the hunky Russian? Yes. Yes she did. So with a meep, she hangs onto him until he sets her down as she looks about, nosewrinkling. "Do you know how..."

And that's when Nico goes a bit pale. There's a biological component to whatever could be going on.

Glancing about, she nosewrinkles, "I can do an evacuation spell for the non-essentials? I mean, wouldn't that be better than keeping everyone contained in what could become a Resident Evil situation?"

Perhaps she's been watching too many of those movies as of late.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
A stolen explosive device from R&D. This does not sound good at all. Daisy takes the explanation with a sharp nod before looking at the other Agents that gathered up to handle the situation, "We need all the details we can get out of this device from Agent James." she tells them. "If anyone doesn't mind interrogating him." time is of the essence!

As for Daisy? "I am going to check visual cameras." it's a good thing that the Triskelion is such an advanced state of the art facility. Which means she can use her credentials to log into the system at R and D to start checking out cameras.

Screens blink and that makes her frown, "These shortages may mean we are being actively sabotaged." but if they are, well, they just came across one of the best hackers in SHIELD. She starts typing on her keyboard, glancing over her shoulder.

"No one is turning into a zombie today." this to Nico.

Nikolas Kamarov has posed:
Nikolas Kamarov listens in mild distaste as Supervisor gives his safety briefing. "Always the same," he mutters from the back as he starts to gather up his silver hair and tie it off in a neat bun. He shifts side to side, antsy and ready to get to work. More then once does he do the classic hurry up motion with his fingers.

Finally all the talk is too much. "If they are knocking out cameras I can track that, or if that bloody pineapple gives off one as well." Nikolas calls out. The camera's winking in and out would cause some sort of energy spike or lack there of and well if a pinneapple is giving of any sort of energy signal he might be able to do that as well. He is a man of action, his objective is clear and fishing out his comm unit from his pocket he sets out, "If it tries to go explodey, I'll deal with it."

Jemma Simmons has posed:
An unmistakingly British accent speaks up.

"I do hope, for your sake, that you may want to refrain from embellishing from the facts in the future." Yes...Jemma took the few steps over to join the debriefing...and is giving the supervisor a *look*. "After all, you just placed 12 individuals as suspects, myself included, and yet you did not have the sense to actually see me nor question me as you entered *my* lab." No, no. Jemma is not pleased. "In the future, I would recommend you keep to the facts at hand and do not insert your personal commentary about the perpetrator's mental acuity, at least before you narrow down your suspect list from essentially an entire department."

With that, she turns and leaves the supervisor to just stand there...and watch her as she retrieves her tablet. "Normal passcard entries are logged, as is everything else within the R&D Department, as well as the Triskelion. It should be a relatively simple matter to isolate the entry logs for the specific office in question and see who actually entered it within the allotted timeframe." Brown eyes lift up and center themselves squarely on the supervisor. "Do you have the name of the person that reportedly had the device taken? Or shall I search for the keyword 'someone'?"

Jane Foster has posed:
Agent James pales when Daisy suggests interrogation. She puts her hands up. "I had a friendly conversation with Agent Baines when he said someone took his... bomb right before he was going to.... Um... giftittosomeone." She spits out the last, and swallows. "I went straight to my boss. I didn't know Baines was working on anything or that he'd remove it from the lab."

Red screens keep flashing. Non-essential personnel start trudging down the stairs. The supervisor looks at Nico. "That's several thousand people. Not sure even Avengers do that, and where would you even put them? No, let's stick to protocol. We don't know if a non-essential worker has the device." He turns back to the others, and short of Jemma or Fury stamping down here to assert control, that's what they'll do. "Excellent, then. Let's get visuals. We've got to narrow down our search area. No, Agent," this to MJ, "we don't have clarity on what the pineapple does except it has biocontaminant agents and a prototype. Very excitable development from hearsay." James isn't blushing. She's staring at the wall when her boss says that. "Track those energy blips if you can, and if they prove a false lead, then we've clarified it. Baines works a floor over, and if he's run, detain conscious and minimize injury. Those twelve individuals in Weapons Dev are of interest, given entry-exit passes show they all entered and left in that timeframe. The entire group was in and out."

Ooh, Jemma made him grumpier. Well, he's already grumpy.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would glance over at Daisy, "I can get them to talk quickly." It's an offer. Probably not the bset one given that given the circumstaces that Mary Jane would defer to Sonja over on it. Otherwise, she's ready to help start with a sweep by sweep of the room. "Is there any way that we can do the sensors to scan for unknown objects?" she would query. "Could they pickup anything that was taken out fo one of the control zones? Even if there's a blank area that things weren't logged, that means that ti's somewhere to try and priotize sweeping."

Nico Minoru has posed:
Her brows furrow. Did he not read her bio, especially the part about the Staff of One and it's capabilities? Nico squints for a few moments, as she just nods and purses her lips, before looking to Nikolas.

"Don't you do stuff with energy? Do you think you could try to sense a potential explosive?" Cause you know, potential energy and all that.

Nikolas Kamarov has posed:
"Yep, on it." Nikolas says looking down to Nico as he reaches out and ruffles her hair. And in a blur, he's gone. "Got something." He calls over the comms. Even at his speed, it takes him a few seconds there are turns to navigate and unless he wanted to Kool-Aid man through them he's going do some acrobatic work running along walls and flipping through the air. Likely all caught on various cameras. At some point his silver hair coming loose.

"At the Hangar." Winter calls through comms as he slides to a halt before a control panel. "I have no idea what I am looking at. But it doesn't look like the wires are cut. Just like Russia, non-redudant systems." He actually finds comfort in that fact.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Images continue to be scanned, Daisy's gaze narrowing as her attention is there. Checking the visual logs. The various people in and out. She looks over as Nikolas announces going out to search, "Frequency 4." she says so they don't get cluttered with all the rest of ShIELD comms.

"Most of the people at the lab were leaving the office, most likely to lunch. They might still be down at the parking lot. I am sending you all images of those I believe could be suspect." she says, "If you two want to look into it." this to Nico and MJ. "Forget Baines for now."

Pause as she looks at James, "What do you mean he wanted to gift it to someone? Talk plainly." a pause when that info comes from Nikolas, "Well, seems like it's in the hangar." she frowns, "Makes no sense that it'd be there." she notes. But they don't have time to lose.

Jane Foster has posed:
The run-up to Auxiliary Landing Pad F (for Failure) is a dim room boasting a long bench bolted to the ground, a desk where the personnel have headed out following protocol, and several pegs for gear. There's no gear there, as is normal on a typical day without someone taking off or landing, except for a nice first aid kit and a very lonely umbrella. The door leading outside is securely locked with its happy swipe-pad, alive to Nik's eyes and Daisy's systems.

However, someone seems to have done the Mir space station method to repair an electrical box connected to the wall, its case dented in several places and the side scratched by metal that left a nice grey streak. There the fuzzy hints of sparks and things not working entirely right are very likely a result of someone trying to destroy a Nokia brick phone and losing. Or something like that.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
"Baines. Thank you."

No, the grumpy supervisor didn't specifically tell Jemma the name attached to the office. However, Jemma is attentive, particularly when indirectly suspected for theft of an explosive device, and is paying close attention. So, the name Baines is placed into the search engine, as well as the time window in question. Then, she adds the rest of the immediate team of which Agent Baines is a part of. And, just for added measure (and maybe a dig at the supervisor) she throws herself into the equation, showing her comings and goings.

Then...when the results are available on her tablet, Jemma throws the log report onto the nearest display. Because she can.

"For the time period in question, the entry logs are as follows. 6 of Agent Baines' team left here, followed by Baines himself. Two more individuals left, then immediately return, then leave shortly thereafter, all while Baines was absent. Baines then returns, three more individuals leave while he is present in the office, then the rest of the team leaves, including Baines. Calendar collaboration indicates that the team had a group lunch planned." Jemma doesn't mention her own whereabouts...but it very plainly shows that she has not left her laboratory for at least 3 hours.

Placing the tablet down, Jemma points to the log entries of the two individuals that left, entered, and left again while Baines was not present. "I would recommend concentrating your efforts to these two individuals. These are the only two that were not present in the laboratory after Agent Baines returned from his initial departure."

Then...Jemma turns to Mary Jane. "Normally, any device that is taken out of a specific work area without authorization would have been flagged at the time of extraction. Tracking chips are placed into SHIELD authorized prototypes for this very reason. The fact that it took 35 minutes before the alarm was raised is curious, but leads me to believe that this might have been a side-project, or at the very least unauthorized. Performing a sensor search would be of minimal use at best after that much elapsed time."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
At the orders from Daisy, MJ gives a nod, "Yes Ma'am." Gesturing at Nico, "Let's try and not use magic unless there's no other way to get the information we need." For the purposes of training.. And also that they need to save her spells for later. So she's immediately heading down towards the parking lot, grabbing out a small data-padd to take the pictures. As she jogs wtih Nico, she goes to hold her hand up, rapidly scrolling amongst the pictures, enhancing them and displaying them from a variety of angles in a 3D Frame display.

Jane Foster has posed:
Agent James rubs her face. "He said he wanted to give it to his teammate. He didn't say so, exactly, but he sounded like he has a crush. He was going to show her at lunch. I was running for Dekarov's office by that point and he went back to his." She really isn't having luck sinking into the floor, so she edges over to where Nico is and stands there. Maybe the fast-moving guy will carry both of them away.

Her supervisor's glare faces the ceiling. The response team fan out into two chunks around the other agents, and one or two of them jab at their tablets as Teams and other chat systems continue to be on the f(r)itz. They look happy enough to move out if Daisy insists and MJ agrees. More meatshields!

The images from Daisy show people, but Jemma's suggestions of 'two who left, re-entered, and left' show two women, mid-20s to 30s, in big puffy black coats for winter. One comes out wearing a fancy knit hat with a fuzzy pompom. The CSI-quality images show them chatting, heading for an elevator, sadly absent evil twirled mustaches and cackling. But pompoms!

Nikolas Kamarov has posed:
"Nyet, nyet. Daisy, you seeing this? It looks like someone is going to get fired." Winter calls out through the comms. He turns on the camera at the side so she can see it as well. Maybe they are Union and won't get fired. "Looks like a damn patch job. This is worse then the gulag."

He taps his chin. "Well, here goes." He reaches towards the contrl box and gripping it pulls with his might. If it wasn't broken before it is going to be. If camera's all worked, they might not now! But if it means saving lives from the bomb that might be hidden there?!! Worth it!

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Heading out with the other agents, Mary Jane gestures at the ones with her, "Nico, with me." Gesturing at the other two mauveshirts. "keep an eye on anyone else about the area that's paying too much attention." And if the group looks nervous or anyone else is watching them.. Be wary. And ready to intervene if they try and run.

Pictures of what the possible suspects look like, and hopefully enough to go on. She goes to speak on a walkie talkie <<Can you have some more systems errors and lock down the elevators? Just so they can't spread out more.>>

Jane Foster has posed:
Auxiliary Landing Pad Room
Nik successfully rips open the electrical box and reveals a beautiful array of very nice wires that would make an electrician sigh. Then grouse because someone ripped up a card and stuffed it in here, along with a completely shredded wad of wrapping paper covered in cats riding rainbows, and a bent envelope that somehow survived. 'Selina' is written on it in a very tidy hand. Clearly someone ripped it open with force.

The damage to the control box and the stuff inside is naturally a bad fire hazard, and probably accounts for all the glitching because /someone/ treated everything badly.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy continues to monitor it from above, watching as Nikolas just rips through the panel and finds ..., not the bomb. She furrows her brows worriedly, "Baines really went all out into making that a gift.." she mutters, looking aside at Jemma and then back.

"It should be nearby though. Nico and MJ, can you help searching the hanger?" she lets out a sigh, "Sorry about sending you in a merry go round."

As for the elevators? She starts blocking them, "Alright, started blocking the elevators. Take number 2 to reach the hangar." she tells MJ on comms. "Nik, see any traces of our perpetrators?"

Jemma Simmons has posed:
Jemma Simmons hmms softly, remaining close by with Daisy as the scientist herself continues to track through entry logs and Teams chats (bleah) to see if she can find anything in relation to Baines' ill-conceived present. "Well, if the device was to be given to a paramour, then one could rightly assume that it is not particularly dangerous. But, given the circumstances that the device has been missing for 30 plus minutes, alterations could have been performed at that time that could have made it so."

Still...Jemma keeps looking, taking the whole command center aspect and completely ignoring whatever commands the supervisor may or may not be barking out. "Has anyone thought to locate Agent Baines and specifically ask what the device is supposed to be? It is quite apparent that it was not a SHIELD sanctioned device, so any information the actual creator can provide would be of most benefit." There might be a hint of annoyance in that voice. But, only just...and Jemma would never admit to it.

Jane Foster has posed:
Agent James is still stuck on duty until her supervisor sends her out with the response team to sweep the offices where Baines and his associates apparently like to make things that go out with a bang. They soon enough report it's locked up with no obvious signs of a struggle, everyone's workstations in order and clear.

MJ, Nico, Response Team 1, and anyone else assigned along the way head out past actively patrolled cordons, forced to flash their badges repeatedly. The parking lot is large and those stuck out there stand in orderly groups turned inward together if they can't take shelter at a shuttle stop. Wind blows hard and snowflakes dance around, no more than a light dusting. Finding Baines' greater team isn't hard. There are ten huddling and muttering about drills. Baines is elsewhere caught up with quite a few security personnel elsewhere in the building.

Reviewing badges to confirm identities then leads to half the response team dragging out the ten to stand apart and ringed in by a group of armed, hangry agents. Oh, what Nico and MJ could do! The professionalism meets with overt confusion; the team lead identifies himself and looks baffled. "What's going on? We've been waiting for the all-clear."

Jane Foster has posed:
In R&D
Jemma and Daisy, in their quick thinking, are sure enough to find one Agent Baines being stuck in a conference room. One currently under lockdown and Daisy can even watch the interrogation if she wants. It's very much a case of pointed questions and "I have no idea why they said-- it was for Selina at the party. I told her I had a present. I wouldn't hurt anyone, it doesn't hurt anyone!"

Trotting off to the hangar from the parking lot may take a few minutes at human speeds. Short of Nico teleporting, anyway. Not everyone dashes like Nik, always Russian around.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would fold her hands together, "There's a threat that's been located and the bomb squad is being sent in." She goes to ever so carefully phrase that while watching faces for tics. Nervousness, surprise, agitation.. Trying to separate out those that have worry popping up on their faces and confusion.. And those that seem to be faking it or bracing it. WHile also quickly skimming over the group to see if any partially match the physical ID's for the suspects while she lets Nico sweep around to help corvertly corral them.

"There's a bit of worry that folks might be contaminated. There were radioactive and biological materials present. There may be some leakage on you. Nothing dangerous but given it's R&D we have to make sure just in case they were trying to play things down." Playing off the reputation of what Fitz and Simmons got up to in their spare time. Then she goes to take out a random object (actually two tablets squished together to look like a sensor with her phone hidden in a sleeve to play 'noise' if apprpriate). "We don't have a dedicated scanner here, so I have to check you each until we get a proper sweep team in case any of you need detox. It's for everyone's safety."

Nikolas Kamarov has posed:
"Someone is going to the gulag." Winter mutters. "I'll take them there myself." Not a fun place, don't recommend it. "Daisy. Bomb isn't here just paper and a card. Who is Selina?" He snatches the card from the wall and pulls out the various fire hazards in there. He's opening the card as he steps out of the dimly lit room.

"I got nothing. The pineapple doesn't give off anything and there isn't to go by otherwise. I can sense things but mostly just cell phones and the like. Nothing strange about that."

"Wait.." Winter says suddenly going quiet. Quiet as a church mouse, Winter is moving. The soldier quickly moves from one area to the next circling around a crate and suddenly popping up. The camera showing someone. "Sneaking about in the Hangar?" Winter asks ready to strike if need be.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"There." Daisy chinjerks towards a screen that shows Baines being interrogated about the device, then she opens a communication to the team doing the interrogation, <<Can you bring Agent Baines to R and D please?>> might as well get to the bottom of this mystery.

With MJ starting to go through the various suspects by the parking lot Daisy says over comms, "The two women pointed out by Dr. Simmons should be the priority if you can find them amidst that group." she says, then looks at Jemma, "Are you thinking some ..., jealous suitor may have stolen it..?" she squints, then looks at the screens again.

"An intern at weapons division. Most likely who Baines was trying to woo." She says on comms to Nikolas about who Selina may be before her eyes quickly turn to the screens as they show who Nikolas is stalking!

Jane Foster has posed:
The Russian wandering around the landing pad reaches a boxy low air compressor. Anyone at ground level might have a good vantage of a hunched over figure in a black parka clutching themselves. Or something.

Cameras catch the approach. The frightened face. A high-pitched scream strobes the air, audible thinly from the parking lot somewhere over there. The younger 20-something Korean woman reacts in fear, tossing what she holds onto the ground. Her cheeks are red, nose runny, shock wiping out everything else in those few split seconds before--

--rainbows!!

Rainbow confetti glitter exploding out from the compacted device in a whuff of air, going absolutely every-freaking-where.

Nikolas Kamarov has posed:
Nikolas Kamarov is not happy.
Nikolas Kamarov is not pleased.
Nikolas Kamorov is glittered.

It's going to be years before he gets that out of his hair.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy opens her mouth to say something. Shuts it. Points at the screen where Nikolas just became glittered Winter.

"Oh boy..., isn't there a Fury meeting later tonight?" That was going to be fun. Daisy may just have to get herself into trouble so as to not attend, "Don't worry, we won't throw you under the bus, James." she tells the supervisor.

"Okay, false alarm people. Time to start people back in. Lunch break is over!"

Jane Foster has posed:
MJ, Nico, and Response Team 1 have their work cut out for them. The show of terror and intimidation proves rather effective on a group that scans for nothing fun, though someone admits to bilking the coffee machine out of $0.25 that dropped suddenly. When the code is stepped down, the large numbers of cold workers able to return to their workstations is bound to be slow to return.

In the meantime, Response Team 2 gets to abandon their work and go close in on the hangar with their peers on Team 1, only to find the prismatic disaster. The terror. The fact Fury's calling a briefing in a few hours and not nearly enough showers remain for personnel up there.

Someone gets to summon the biohazard response crew. Baines, petrified, explains the bio-friendly glitter /should/ dissolve in the rain with no harm to fish. It's sustainable and environmentally friendly. It's a contagion that will leak from vents, end up on shoes, and mysteriously dot people's skin and hair for months. Probably months. Depends on if WAND or SWORD decide to export it as a danger somewhere else.

and all the while, Daisy finds her Chinese food has gone cold. Nik needs two bottles of shampoo to be restored to himself. Teams replays the video explosion 25,000 times in the first week.
