Toni Monetti has been wavering on the edge of the call of Heroism after the near occasion of a cataclysmic discovery and a narrowly averted horrible fate, which was in fact extremely bad. Occasional dabbling in public service mix with indifferently-focused college work and, of course, abundant "me time".

Timeline:
* June 16, 2001: Antonia Louise Monetti is born. A date sure to be remembered.
* 2002: First time Toni says "Ewww."
* 2012: Anthony Monetti (father of Toni) elected US Senator
* Late 2017: Toni's skin begins changing into an unnatural silvery-white. Suspected mutancy briefly brought up by cable television vultures
* October 10, 2017: Toni abducted by aliens. The aliens reveal that she is a hybrid organism created by the agents of the H'San Natall, intended to serve as a vanguard for upcoming invasions of Earth. With the aid of several other hybrids of the same age and an accidental stowaway, Toni is able to return to Earth some months later.
* 2018: Anthony Monetti re-elected.
* 2018: Toni attempts to begin studying (like you're supposed to) while periodically dabbling lightly with super-heroism and wrestling with ambiguous identity issues.
* 2019: Mall retrospective on Instagram bring mild fame.

Gregarious:
Toni enjoys the company of other people and, barring something like fatigue, intense guilt, facial injury or so on will seek out others and enjoys interacting with them. She is pretty accepting of people more or less as they are - she will judge? But it will be over a thing that gets done, not stuff like "are you poor," "are you a mutant," or whatever.

Loud:
Toni is not at all ashamed to tell people exactly what she thinks about them, about the world, about the situation that they're in, about how she's feeling, about what she wants to do in a minute, about what she wants to do later, and she will even tell people she likes them to their face. This does not require any super-power to know. She will tell you.

Psychic Link:
Argent can sense the location and the general feelings of her fellow alien hybrids, both the few she knows and a possibly huge number of others which she does... not. This mostly works at close range and is largely subconscious.

Silver Plasma:
Argent's unique alien power lets her generate shapes out of solid plasma with a characteristic "shining silver" color. This is a non-thermal plasma and is similar in some ways to the energies called by the Green Lantern Corps. This lets her do several neat tricks:
* Force Field: By creating a disc or other barrier, Argent can protect herself or others from incoming harm. She is able to stop bullets and explosions with these fields, although continuous force can rip through the field after a period.
* Energy Protection: Argent can throw a shape of the plasma at someone who she doesn't like, which can take a number of different simple shapes (knives, whips, general blasts). These strike with blasting force - their shape can allow for other tricks, like a thin knife to try to go through a crack in armor.
* Plasma Slide: By making a kind of free-rolling shape underneath herself and others, Argent can kind of fly, or at least can move around in a really obvious way in three dimensions. It looks sick.

More practice and training could enhance these abilities b-u-u-u-ut Argent hasn't done much of that yet.

Toni is fluent in spoken and written Arabic, although she has an accent. She picked it up while living in the Middle East with her parents in her younger days. (It was p. hot)

Daddy's Money:
Toni has a pretty significant personal allowance as her father is a national political figure and has independent additional sources of income. This is actually enough money to support significant amounts of international operations and advanced technology, although Toni (who owns the relevant accounts for tax purposes) mostly uses it to buy clothes and garbage.

--a Drug Smuggler:
The details are more complex than that, but Anthony Monetti is involved in low-volume high-value distribution of illegal super-drugs. This is extremely illegal, and is the source of the considerable amount of spending money Toni has access to. Toni is not fully aware of all of the details of this, but she knows enough to know there's crime going on.

--Actually An Alien:
During her brief period of alien captivity, Toni's origin got explained to her pretty clearly, and while she is not clubbing around every day with her siblings(?) now, she is aware that her actual father isn't Daddy, it's some kind of monster. Toni's physiology isn't actually that different from human normal, other than the obvious differences in appearance, but it makes her

  Making matters worse, the H'San Natall had a plan for her, and it is awful to

know at least the outlines of it. She was supposed to be a sleeper agent - win the trust of Earth, and then open the gates for them to conquer the planet. (The H'San Natall are absolutely watching the situation, but their plan required Toni and the others to become heroic figures to Earthlings... to win their trust. That part she doesn't know about.)

--Way Too Overprotective:
A mixture of chokingly overprotective attitudes from her parents, especially Daddy, and a lot of prolonged and extensive absences - even during a period when they lived overseas - has given Toni a bad case of the Catholic Schoolgirl syndrome, where she acts defiantly and causes problems. While this is mostly a 'quirk,' it is also an easy angle to manipulate her, whether by playing on immense latent guilt for horrible things she has done, thought about doing, or might possibly do-- or by using it to goad her to self-destructive and childish behavior.

My Dad's...:
Toni's regular father is a US Senator, which gives HIM plenty of goodies, but makes Toni both mildly famous in an uncomfortable way by extension, and means that people might use her as a way to put pressure on him. This is also the source of her money, and has another exciting lingering problem for her!
