They're mostly known for being the only sentients sane enough to take on some insane tasks, and lucky enough to live through it.

1957:

• Cosmo is born as a Labrador/Golden Retriever mix and begins life as part of the Soviet Space Program.

1960:

• Cosmo undergoes rigorous experimentation and is launched into orbit. She veers off course.

1972:

• Drax is born on Kylos, growing up in a warrior culture.

1975:

• Cosmo arrives in Knowhere and is added to The Collector’s collection.

1979:

• Drax chooses the Omdoe clan, a warrior-driven group, during his Abzolom ceremony.

1986:

• Peter Quill is born to Meredith Quill in Missouri.
• Richard Rider is born in Hempstead, New York.

1987:

• Drax earns recognition as a skilled warrior after saving his clanmates from an ambush.

1988:

• The Collector releases Cosmo, who begins acclimating to life on Knowhere.

1990:

• Drax meets Hovat, his future wife.
• Cosmo becomes Chief of Security for Knowhere.

1992:

• Drax joins the Omdoe clan’s elite berserker unit.

1995:

• Gamora is born on Zen-Whoberis.

• Nebula is taken by Thanos at a young age. Her memories of her homeworld and family are erased through conditioning. She undergoes relentless cybernetic augmentation.

2000:

• Gamora's family and village are destroyed by Thanos, who takes her as his adoptive daughter.
• Gamora assassinates a resistance leader on Vanaheim as part of her training, witnessing firsthand the devastation caused by Thanos’ ideology.

2003:

• Richard Rider is chosen by Rhomann Dey to become Nova Prime after Xandar’s destruction.

2005:

• Richard Rider reboots the Worldmind and begins rebuilding Xandar.

2006:

• Peter Quill becomes a full-fledged Ravager and names his ship the Milano.
• Richard Rider steps down from the Nova Corps to live a normal life.

2009–2016:

• Nebula serves as Thanos’ assassin, frequently competing with Gamora for his favor.

2010:

• Richard Rider's powers re-emerge after intervening in a burglary.

2011:

• Richard Rider resumes his role as a Nova Centurion.

• Rocket and Groot are captured and forced into gladiatorial combat on a lawless moon, narrowly escaping after toppling the arena’s leadership.

2018:

• Peter Quill breaks away from the Ravagers entirely.
