Sewers under Seige: First volley
Date of Scene: 30 September 2020
Location: Lab in an Abandoned Pumping Station
Synopsis: The turtles and their allies respond to a situation at an old pumping station... the Foot are up to their crap again! But something is different this time...
Cast of Characters: Leonardo, Casey Jones, Raphael, Sally Pride, Donatello, April O'Neil, Kainashi

Leonardo has posed:
The Turtles have enjoyed relative free reign of the sewers for sixteen years and for good reason. Donnie has established a fairly extensive network of security systems along most of the new and old tunnels which alerts the foursome and their allies to any attempts to subvert their dominion of the underbelly of New York City!

Especially after the death of Shredder and the destablization of much of the Foot Clans holdings. One such location was an old pumping station that the Foot used to pump out Mutagen powered monstrocities like an assembly line of ready made soldiers. Most of the machinary is destroyed, all of the Mutagen is gone, but there are still hidden caches for anyone adventurous enough to go searching the rubble...

Such it is that the turtles receive an alert that /someone/ is in those tunnels.. and more specifically.. at that pumping station.

"Alright guys, it's probably just some homeless folks looking for a place to sleep, but we have to check it out..." Leo stands up from the table where the quartet and friends were having dinner, grabs his swords, and begins the charge.

April gets a front row seat to the show!

At the station... it is not homeless.

It is an element of the Foot Clan.. Armed with pretty high tech weapons, they've set up the ambush! Ready to lay down the ambush fire at the first hint of Shell they see!

Casey Jones has posed:
Casey is standing there with his Hockey mask pulled over his face, his gear is mostly back from the pawnshop. Bag, packed with two golf clubs, one crickety bat, one boomerang, two bats, and one bowling ball. His eyes moving over it quiet for now, as he is waiting he was trying to get better, so he was here tonight to follow orders, as he leans against the sie of his truck.

Raphael has posed:
It's a place that's familiar to Raphael. He's checked it numerous times during rounds on his own or with any brothers as a partner, especially considering how important the pumping station can be. They've cleared out a few things, trying to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands, but that doesn't mean they've found everything.

When it comes up that something's going on at that very place, it doesn't take a second request to get him moving. All he'd been doing was watching some MMA fighting after grabbing a bite to eat, but now the mask is in place and he's making his way through the tunnels. "Whoever it is, we'll send them packing."

Sally Pride has posed:
It was no secret that the Foot and Null had been working together on more than one occasion. Usually in providing the corrupt corp with mutagen in exchange for tech, and the future provision of mutants with actual military and specialty training. That was the whole reason certain mutants other than turtles prowling the city exist after all.

Just thinking about those 'old days' sent a shudder down Sally Pride's spine, but she quickly shoved it aside. Activity around one of the old Foot locations was worth checking out, just on that connection alone. Even if it was just to make sure some stupid urban explorers didn't stumble across something they shouldn't even know exists.

The highly trained ninja probably knew she was there before the lioness even had sight of them, but she gave a quick whispered "Friendly on your left, don't hit me." as she joined the group and hunched down. "Came as soon as I got word on the sensor trip."

Donatello has posed:
Back at the Lair, Donatello had been busy with some sort of unusual engineering experiment -- a microwave oven, unplugged, with some electronic components locked inside. It was tense work that consumed the turtle's full efforts. The alerts provided by his security network, however, were enough to stop the work long enough to bring it to the attention of his brothers.

The Shell Phone network made it relatively easy to put the word out to the city's growing team of mutant animals, those that would have the most interest in this pumping station. As Sally crouches down, Donatello gives her a nod. "Thanks for coming out, Sally," he whispers, having put out the APB on the Shell Phone not long ago.

April O'Neil has posed:
5rApril is wearing a light tan jacket with a white top underneat it, a pair of blue jeans with torn knees and a pair of heeled boots that match her jacket. She's got her phone in her hand and a flashlight in the other, and is mostly walking behidn Casey.

"You know, now that we're in the dark and headed toward danger, I'm starting to question why I'm here. I didn't bring any weapons, like everyone slse." She considers for a quick second. "I think my special weapon should be a shotgun. All in favor of Shotgun April, say 'Aye'?" She asks, looking aruond at the others with her.

Leonardo has posed:
The turtles and Casey make their way to the junction that leads to the pumping station that sits back in an open dome hidden beneath the street near forgotten subway system that was long ago built over. Beyond the arched entryway, several dozen Foot Ninjas are milling about carrying broken bits of tech towards a hole dug directly down from the street above with repel ropes hanging for pulling whatever they can find up to surface level. Bigger mutates with heavy weapons are playing sentry, hulking beasts that almost look like creatures, if not for the fact they're very clearly mad science at work.. Their weapons specifically.

"Get a move on! The turtles will be here before too long..."

Leo inclines his head to Sally, a tight smile on his face from where he's crouched near one of the sides of the entry. Giving hand signals to his brothers, Casey, and Sally.. marking targets based on tactical analysis.. Smirking at April, "No shotgun, but maybe next time?" Then he's moving.

His hand closes tight around the crushable object in his palm before hurling the smoke bag out into the midst of a group of Foot Ninjas. Rolling through that smoke with his Katana slipping from the sheath in a down cut, around in a cross cut, backwards in a back stab...

Three bodies hit the ground and the whole arena opens up ready to brawl!

Casey Jones has posed:
Casey is rushing forward now, with his two golf clubs, as he leaps into the air."Goongala! Goongala!" His hand is bringing those swinging clubs, as he bashes into two of the foot, as he rolls past them springing to his feet, as he grins with a wild war-whoop of pleasure."Hole in two, not quite par! I think this is going to be a fun, round of clubs."

His eyes scanning, trying to find his next target, two down, and so many more to go with his hands ready holding the gold clubs up in front of him, as he is eyeing with the bigguns, but waiting for the others to move up first.

Raphael has posed:
At April's question, she gets a stare and a slow shake of the head from Raphael, the extent of his opinion about her potential as a shotgun-toting element of their group except for him saying, "I just can't see it, nope.".

Moving on, there is enough time for him to pause as Sally shows up nearby, part of the growing group. "Hey, cat," is the greeting she receives along with a look of consideration, but he grows more quiet as they get closer to their target and activity is made out. Foot, but more mutant creatures? This seems..fishy.

Then he's into the fray, sai in both hands. There are strikes, parries, blocks followed up with kicks, and the calls of Raphael challenging them to give him a real fight.

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride just rolls her eyes a little. Normally she'd make a crack like 'Be careful what toys you give your pet human' but she's pretty sure it would not go over well with the group right now. Not the way Liz just snarks back and then ignores her. She nods at Don and Raph "Good to see you boys again too."

Then she focuses on the mission at hand, nodding at Leo's directions with a neutral expression and drawing her own firearm. Shuffles a little to the side and hunches back down on one knee. Squints. And turns up the setting on her energy weapons, cuiz those mutates look pretty swol. Waits for Leo to throw his smokescreen.

Then fires off three aimed shots with her gun at one of the mutated thugs, two stun blasts aimed for his body and then one up at the head, to take him out of the fight with precision before he can turn on the others charging into the smokey fray.

Donatello has posed:
"Thirty seven," Donatello whispers to himself -- a running count on the current number of smoke bombs in the Turtle arsenal. They're made by hand, labor-intensive, by Donatello. He's been keeping track and now there's one less after Leonardo tosses one out to cover his attack.

"C'mon April, turn off that light," Donatello whispers as the groups converge. "I was just getting ready to take that thing out." Donatello holds up a shuriken in between his fingers, showing April what might have happened to her flashlight if things had gone another way.

The turtle's eyes close briefly as Casey Jones goes loud. Taking a deep lungful of air, Donatello sideways glances to April as he tucks the shuriken back into his belt. "I, uh, didn't get a chance to talk to him yet," he whispers. "About what you said about learning to be more disciplined in a fight. I'll get it."

With that, Donatello leaps out of the shadows, bo in hand, and lands in a three-point stance a couple of feet behind Casey. The GOONGALA earned the attention of a few nearby Foot, but Donatello makes fast work of them with a cross-body jab of his bo, followed by a quick sweep of the legs. The turtle quickly crouches down and delivers a final blow to each of the downed ninjas! All of it without shouting anything..

April O'Neil has posed:
April's flashlight is deactivated when she hears the request from Donnie. "Sorry." She loud-whispers at the purple clad turtle, but mere moments later and the fighting is breaking out. "Oh jeeze." April murmurs then before stepping back to push her back up against a concrete wall!

Her flashlight is slipped into her jacket pocket and her phone comes up to record it all. She doesn't ever share footage of the turtles directly, not online or anywhere, but she does have quite a bit of footage of them fighting that she keeps 'just in case' things change someday... She's actually been working on a project related to that, a 'documentary' about them that she's been narrating herself. Just a fun project, nothing she'd ever release without their permission!

"Be careful!" She says to Donnie before he can rush off to join the others. Already, she's wincing at the fighting.

Leonardo has posed:
The fray isn't quite as onesided as they might hope, truly this wasn't a mission taken lightly! This element of the Foot came prepared for turtle and that becomes abundently clear as the sentries open fire. The mutates with their heavy weapons bombarding every inch of the smoke filled cavern without any care paid to friend or foe! Their intent is pretty clear:

Kill the turtles.

If some Foot Ninjas have to die in the process, that's a necessary collateral damage.

But it's a wholly new tactic, at least as far as Leonardo is aware... and he's caught a little off guard when one of said ninjas basically evaporates in front of him before his sword can even strike! He's scrambling backwards into a backflip and sliding across the slick floor on his shell to get away from the destructive AoE attack that sends bits of concrete and debris flying in every direction. "New plan!" He says in a hurry, pointing a sword at one of the six big targets with their big artillary guns!

Several of the remaining Ninjas are trying to square off on Casey, flipping and making big showy targets of themselves!

Leo is, however, rushing a big guy, hurling throwing darts that do next to nothing on approach!

Casey Jones has posed:
As he is screaming, to pull the Agg! See, he can learn from dis game after all, as he is getting ready to leap forward. Out of the shadows come, Donnie, as he grins at the turtle."Hey, man, I was like pulling Agg. To keep em off the heals, cause she had a light." With that, he is leaping forward, as he drops the golf clubs, reaching for two of his baseball bats.

Running forward towards a wall, kicking off it as he spins through the air, the bats swinging for as many that get in his way. As he lands next to the big guy, with a grin as he rushes forward with a leaping towards it now, his eyes locked on the next target. Behind him, four of the damn show-offs hit the floor, with a snarl of pure rage, Casey is going to take a hit or do some damage only luck will tell.

Kainashi has posed:
No need to wince at the fighting.

Kainashi received the message, with Alopex in reserve, hanging back a bit, the young ninja-in-trainning is making her way into the seweres through the handiest dandiest sewer grate,, the canine mutant comes in through the side tunnels. She draws up to the side tunnels, she draws out her weighted chain as she anrrwos her eyes, and then into the fray the scarred-up canine mutant goes with a Chewbacca-like yowling, growl of aggression, enacting a pinching manuver with Casey on the other side!

She swings her weighted chain about to try and wrap weight around the nearest Foot soldier's leg to try and pull him, drawing her great strength and to try and udse the nearest Foot to strike another Foot!

Sally Pride has posed:
"Dammit!" Sally cusses as she flattens to the ground when the mutates open up indiscriminate fire before she can shoot any more of the larger foes. Her ears are flat back against her head, but otherwise she keeps her cool. She does have the advantage of being trained to deal with shit hits the fan situations like this. You never panic. Panic is what gets soldiers killed. Panic is what gets allies killed even faster.

But the big gunner mutates seem to be focusing on trying to run down the Turtles more than anyone else. So Sally keeps herself low, ground-crawling towards one the heavy gunners. The only thing she's missing is a knife clenched in her teeth... not that she needs a knife, having fingertips full of sharp predator hooks.

She creeps and crawls until she gets close enough, then leaps to her feet and makes a short dash to pounce on the mutate before he can notice and swing the heavy gun in her direction.

Sally lands on the larger mutant, but instead of digging her claws into him, she kicks a foot into his side, grabs his arms with her claws for grip, and heaves to pull his weapon away from firing on the halfshell heroes.

Raphael has posed:
"Whoa. Shit just got real," is Raphael's response to one of the Foot losers getting /vaporized/ before their very eyes. He did ask for something tougher, but that was not what he had in mind. But, threat absolutely identified.

Now he's on the move, using cover and shadow to his advantage where possible so he can reposition himself closer. This leads to a smoke bomb being tossed into the midst of some of the mutated, ratlike animals, a brief flash of thought making him think of Splinter.

Count it, Donnie.

The smoke bomb is followed up with a low sweep of a leg at the calves of one of the creatures, both sai used to then strike at the energy weapon it's trying to line them up with. "Time to go nite-nite."

Donatello has posed:
Donatello stands tall after knocking out those ninjas and makes a show of letting out a loud, lungful of air. "Casey," he groans. "You're....not wrong." In truth, it was a good Warcraft strategy. But, out here?

    "But this is real."

Donatello's attempt to appeal to Casey's understanding of Azeroth versus New York, the turtle's thought is cut short. The mutant guards have a focused attraction to eliminating the Turtles. A powered shot from their weapons sends Donatello diving off to the side in an effort to dodge. Springing off of the ground, an effort to save his own shell, Donatello lands just moments after another shot would have made soup out of him. Another breath. Too many close calls.

Donnie dives forward into a roll, narrowly missing another laser blast. He springs up, looks left and then right. "Thirty-six," Donatello calls out, counting Raphel's smoke bomb, sounding a little winded. Another blast, another dive off to the side.

At least he's drawing their fire?

Leonardo has posed:
The Lead Turtle is off the ground out of his dodging rush towards his own big target and lands with both feet planted in the center of the rodents chest. Both his swords come down, reversed in his grip, to stab through the massive lines feeding the power to the big gun in both hands, now using them like control sticks to angle the last blast away from his Purple brother diving around the battle field drawing fire.

Raph's attack on the weapon sends the beam hurtling towards another massive rat-tate, taking it out with as little care from the attacker as it had for the foot soldiers.

"Nice one Raph! On your left Donnie!"

On your left is a group of smaller attackers.. Skirmisher types.. all of them rats. A horde of four practically clammering trying to get at him with sharp claws, teeth, and beedy red eyes.

Casey is definitely making a show of himself, keeping the human Foot busy with his shouting and swings... but it's drawing more and more ninjas onto him with the turtles occupied with the big guns! Kai capitalizing on that distraction to get one wrapped up and ready for Christmas!

The gun Sally target comes out of the rodents hands and it screams down at her as it, now disarmed, lashes out with a massive claw.

Leo is running the rodent he's 'riding' head first into a wall, flipping over the things shoulder with his katana pulling free. Forward into a roll, and a rush at another of the four remaining artillary rats!

"Keep it up everybody!"

Casey Jones has posed:
Casey is sailing towards that large goon, as his right leg is aimed for his head, with a loud crack, as he swings for the neck with his bat. As he sails past, the creature as he pivots on his right leg, to launch himself back into the fray, with a nod towards Kai."Hey Chica, ready to smash, some faces!"

His weapons swinging through ninja after ninja, as a smashing sound can be heard, as his bats break from the impact, on a buff ninja, as he leaps backward."Ain'tcha' a little big for dis game, I think you're a pinhead." With that large bowling ball coming out, he leaps forward, cracking it down on the head of the man as he sails past, throwing the ball at another group, as he is grabbing those golf clubs again.

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride is no slouch when it comes to strength herself, and manages to finally retch the heavy gun out of the rat's hands. But she doesn't get away scott free as he slams his clawed hand into her and knocks the lioness backwards onto the ground. That's quite a whallop.

Sally hauled herself back to her feet, grabbed her jacket with one hand and pulled it over so she can look at where he put several tears through the normally rather durable material. "Oh, that's it." Sally yanks the torn jacket off and throws it aside. Maybe that's when the brute will realize he made a grave tactical error. When Sally reachs down to grab what was his weapon, with a bit more effort to brace it, and power it back up. She has no problem with snatching the fancy toys of her enemies and turning it on them.

A fangy grin curls the feline's lips. "YIPPY KA YA AYE MOTHERF--"

And the heavy weapon firing on it's former weilder drowns out the rest.

Kainashi has posed:
Kainashi comes down along the wall by Sally's side, and gives a harsh bark of "LANGUAGE!" as she surges forward. Sally's heavy weapon fire might block out some of her accusary items, but the small canine is following the heavy fire in order to clear up anyone who might start back in. Her eyes are narrowed, her chain swinging as she goes adn tries to keep the rats down!

Raphael has posed:
If any guns are still firing energy beams, Raphael's first thought is to try to cut them off from being able to do that. Whether it means disabling the one wielding it, or stopping whatever power source is there, it doesn't matter.

"Don't need your cheerleading, Leo," he calls back, moving swiftly through cover again to come out behind another gunner.

This is interrupted by Sally turning one of the guns on the mutated creature that was just trying to use it on her, leading to a very Chris Tucker-like, "Daaaaaaammmnnnnn!"

And then he's getting struck across the face by the rat mutate, opening up a gash thanks to its claws. He blinks in surprise, then snarls, "It's on now." The sai get jabbed into the gun itself, then he leads with punches on the thing. He may know martial arts, but at his heart Raphael is a straight-up brawler.

Donatello has posed:
On your left, Donnie! Leo's callout is appreciated, as it brings his attention to the trio of mutant rats. Claws. Teeth. Red eyes. Woah, deja vu! Donatello turns to face the group, readying his bo. He takes a breath, looking at three versions of his father, teacher, mentor, and sensei. Still, he's spent many hours sparring with Master Splinter, as all the turtles have, and he's grown quite adept at dodging claws and leaping over tail-sweeps.

Another breath, Donatello steps towards the rats, twirling his bo in a confident circle and turning to face them squarely! This familial resemblance is enough to put Donnie off his game, however, and as he takes a step to begin a charge, one of the powered laser weapons strikes the turtle squarely on his armored shell!

The sound is loud and horrible, almost like the sound of a circular saw kicking back -- sudden, high, and whiney. The blast is enough to produce a bright flash of sparks and a deep, black scorch mark spreading from the spot struck by the laser. The sheer force of it sends Donatello forward, onto his stomach, and sliding across the ground.

April O'Neil has posed:
With all the Chaos going on, April has tried to find a little place to hide herself, between a few pipes set in to the wall. Her phone is up and her flashlight is back in her hand...

In classic April form, she's devised a way to try to help...

Suddenly April's super bright light starts to flash on and off as she aims it at the faces of those attacking her friends. Every time she flashes the super bright beam she adds a soft "Pow." And a quiet "Bang." Because in April's head, she's holding a sweet combat pump shotgun!

"Oh, are you blind now? What a shame! POW!"

A sword sweeps over at her, causing her to squeal loudly and duck down behind the pipes that the sword impacts with, sending bright yellow sparks flying away!

Leonardo has posed:
Leo rolls forward and slides to a hault when he hears that god awful sound... and no, we're not talking about Sally throwing out an F'bomb... it's the sound of his brother getting hit with one of the energy weapons! "Donnie!" A side flip dodges the mutate-rats swing of the big blasters stock, sword slashing around to cut the power line connecting to the battery practically bolted into his back, but the Blue turtle isn't screwing around anymore.

One of his brothers is hit and it's time to bring this threat to its knees so they can assess the damage. "Someone check on Donnie..." Words that hang heavy on his mind. The other katana lashes out quickly, severing the weapon in tway, the first strikes forward, then pulls back to cut one of the rats massive thighs along the muscle to destroy the weight barring capability of that stump and bring it to its knees.

Twisting around and up with his knee right into the bottom of the elongated snout. Snapping the big things head back violently, then straight down with the pummels of both swords right between its eyes.. Flattening it out on the ground, a foot landing to either side of its unconscious face.

The combination effect of Casey going full batter, Kai support, and Sally doing her very best John McClane have leveled the playing field dramatically, but all of this?

Was for show.

A shadowy figure rushes out of the pumping station holding a canister rushes out surrounded by rats of varying size... Wild black hair, a lab coat even, he looks like Gene Wilder from Young Frankenstien. "Time to go my pets!" dozens... and dozens... annnnd dozens of rats, some child sized, follow after him towards one of the rapel rope leading to the street level.

Casey Jones has posed:
As Donnie gets shoot, a look of something cold flashes under that mask, his eyes turning slowly tracing that beam, as his hand reaches into that bag, as he drops the golf clubs, throwing the boomerang towards the one with the gun, as it is sailing towards him.

Casey bends down to grab the gold clubs, as he kicks off the nearest ninja, throwing himself into the air, as he is flying towards the gunner."Goongala! Goongala! Ya, bastard!"

Rage is filling his eyes, and his words as he swings towards the one next to the gunner, as his boomerang slams into the shooters chest, knocking him to the ground, as he is down, Casey starts to swing with the left golf club right into those ribs with a loud serious crack of bone! As he is about to bring it down again, he stops in mid-swing as he looks over at the others, the rage is passing as he leaps towards them now, as he bends down to check on Donnie."Ya okay, bro?"

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride glances over her shoulder with an incredulous look at Kainashi. "Did you just 'Language' me?"

But her attention is quickly back to the fight as Donnie gets hit, and off to the side April yelps after her daring interference. Leo and Casey are both quick to jump to Don's defense, though.

She looks in the direction of the other human. Doesn't dare to fire the weapon that close to April's position.

So instead Sally just hurls the entire weapon at the swordbearer trying to chop her gal down. "Hey, jackass! Leave the human sidekick alone!"

Sidekick is a lot more dignified of a nickname. Possibly more accurate too.

Raphael has posed:
"Eh? Donnie?"

Raphael's question sort of fades in the moments after his brother is struck in the shell by the beam of energy, and if anyone thought Sally was seeing red after getting her jacket torn, if anyone thought Raph himself was angered a little more in turning toward brawling, they haven't seen anything yet.

Quick shoutout to April for running enough of a distraction with that bright flashlight that it briefly blinded Raph's opponent long enough to be put down with a solid punch to the jaw, by the way. Back to the bigger matter at hand.

"Donnie!" he shouts, his face twisting around into an expression of rage even as Leonardo reacts in such a measured, potentially lethal fashion. Raphael is torn between running over to Donatello to make sure he's all together, and taking this fight all the way to the end. He opts for the latter, the sai back in his hands, held in a vice-like grip. It's when the guy in the lab coat shows up and calls for all his little rodent pets to follow him that Raph believes he's got his target. "I'm gonna kill you, you bastard!" And..he's rushing after the guy, heedless of how many of his 'pets' have to get kicked or knocked aside. Getting there in time will be the question.

Donatello has posed:
Donatello lies there motionless, scorch marks on his shell telling the story of how he wound up on the ground. Black smoke rises from his shell and keen ears might hear the distinct, though faint, sound of energy and heat coming off of it. His bo staff rests gently against his fingertips, but after a moment it begins to roll away slowly.

A groan comes from the turtle as his arms begin to move. First, a hand reaches out and searches around for the bo, which by now has settled a couple of inches just out of his grasp. He lets out another groan before his fingers curl once again. He stops reaching for the bo.

Kainashi has posed:
Kainashi pauses mid swing, looking back to Sally and going "Y-yeeesss?" she ventures -- and then there was a shout. And a name.

    Someone hit Donatello.

    There was a pause.

And Kainashi turns back to the man with the wild hair. The scent of blood was in the air, and like Raphael she sees red.

And like Raphael, she can be very aggressive. Her chain sweeps. Her eyes are narrowed and her scarred face bears teeth as she takes off after the rats. She is, after all, a Pit Bull Terrier -- and terriers were rat hunters -- *and anything else that moved*.

With a snarl, the super-strength canine surges forward, grabbing concrete and ripping it off the side of the swere as she begins to try and clear the way to get to the man in question by bullishly and brutishly attempting to shove her way through the crowds of rats with the concrete.

Leonardo has posed:
Leonardo, Kai, and Raphael have the same idea..

Whatever nonsense is going on down here, the ringleader is probably that guy rushing off towards the exit, and the fact that he's carrying a canister of mutagen makes him a very dangerous target indeed. Up nodding to his brother, Leo darts to the side, weaving into the rats playing distraction for Victor's escape with his swords held fast in both hands he provides the screen needed for Raph to make his ultimate approach.

Where it is disconcerting to cut down rats because of their master, this is not Splinter, and therefore Leo doesn't dwell... it'll haunt him later, sure, but there's a goal... make sure Raphael can stop that guy from escaping. Stationary and cutting out the crawling menace, he turns at the last second of Raph coming up, bends over to present his shell for his brother, and pushes up with his shoulders to give him a little extra height!

Victor was so close! He could smell New York's streets... but then the rope goes slack when Raph slices the teether and sends him falling back down to the cavern, arms waving, not terribly unlike Hans Gruber (thanks Sally) at the end of Die Hard.

When he hits, it's in a heap of scampering rats, then the mutagen canister comes down ontop of them.. crashing in a spray of the sickly green substance sloshing across the floor to wash over several of the skittering rodents now scampering away in a violent rush to get to any place but here when whatever was controlling them... suddenly stops doing that.

"..." Even the big guys, with their big guns just... stop... statues that look around dumbly like they have no idea what's going on.

"Everyone..." Leo starts, furrowing his brow, stepping back away from the edging line of strangly glowing fluid. "Everyone okay...?" Turning to regard his brother and friends.

Casey Jones has posed:
Casey reaches down to grab that Bo-Staff, and then he is yanking Donnie upwards over his shoulder, as he grunts softly."Less, Pizza." With that, he is running back, towards where they came in, never leave a man behind or somethang right, as he is moving watching the badie, as he shakes his head."Getcha, ya to my truck, and we will getcha outta dis Donnie. I got the downed man, get that bastard if a can." He is hauling ass, missing the escape, as he is moving full tilt.

Raphael has posed:
There are times when Leonardo and Raphael are at each other's throats.

There are also times they work in silent tandem like the brothers they are.

It happens swiftly, as Kainashi joins in the pursuit of the mad scientist, but by using Leonardo's shell to vault himself higher, Raphael makes it far enough to sever the line back to the surface and all come crashing back down to the ground below.

Raphael rights himself to brace for the impact and absorbs it well, but the canister of mutagen shatters with most of it landing on the man. It doesn't deter the turtle with the red mask from moving in to start punching at the bastard's face, raining down blows with wild abandon, intent on making the guy's face as red as the rage has him seeing things. "You'll...pay...for...this!" he grunts between blows.

Whether Kainashi gets there in time to join in or not, whether she or someone else tries to stop Raphael, someone is going to have to.

Sally Pride has posed:
Oooh that is going to be a mess to clean up. The rats that manage to scurry away after getting splattered are probably going to need to be hunted down. But that's a future problem.

"Oh, I think I'll manage," Sally replies, though she rubs her shoulder with one hand. Lugging around that heavy weapon wasn't without strain. She looks over a shoulder "How about you?" she asks in April's direction. Casey already hauled Donny out so that's one less worry.

And the other mutant rats just... stopped doing anything. That's weird.

The lioness walks over to pick up her torn jacket, tossing it over her shoulder. "You boys sure know how to make a night interesting."

Nope. She's not even gonna try to get in the middle of that and stop Raphael. That'd be arguably more dangerous than the fight was.

April O'Neil has posed:
April is sitting on the ground near the wall when she hears Leo ask that question. She raises up a couple of items in her hands. "My flashlight broke." She announces to everyone, with a remorseful tone to her voice. She starts to turn and stands up, using her left leg to push herself up to a full height on her heeled boots. "I'm good though." She glances over to Sally and smirks at her. "Sidekick?" this makes her look over to the turtles. "Am I your sidekick? I feel like I'm something more than that."

Her eyes go down to her flashlight and her bottom lip pouts out for a moment. "I just got this in the mail." Big sigh, bigh sigh, RIP new flashlight. "At least it didn't get Ninja star'd though, I guess." She looks up then and notices Donnie's plight, moving to jog over to where he is with Casey and the others. "I tried to help, I thought I could blind them..."

Kainashi has posed:
    Sniff... sniff sniff...

Above the sell of rats and turtles, and humans, and the stench of blood and burnt fur and scorched shell, Kainashi gives a growl, though her ears draw back, and she takes a few steps back, giving a soft whine, her tail curling slightly, before she turns back to the assembled Turtles and humans.

Donatello has posed:
Meanwhile, Donatello's form lies motionless, dangling over the shoulder of Casey Jones. His arms hang loose, his eyes closed gently, and his features relaxed. Donatello's shell has seen better days -- it's black, smokey, and carries the smell of burning. Dark trickles of blood drip from the shell's seams, where it meets at his sides to form his plastron.

The previous attempts at movement, groaning, and recovery seem to have been extinguished. Donatello lies lifeless, carried off by Casey Jones. If there's anything left in Donatello, he would hate this.

Leonardo has posed:
"Raph..." It's Leo's voice, which is probably the last one that'd likely calm down the brother he'd just worked so effortlessly with.. "Raph..." A little louder the second time, the eldest turtle steps closer to reach out for his brother. HOPING that reason will settle in as his voice filters into his brothers ears.

Hoping, but not expecting.

"RAPH!" Shoving this time, pushing at his brother to get him off the downed Victor, mutilated face which is already bubbling and popping from being covered with mutagen. "He's..." Dead? Leo glances around, sees April is fine.. See's Casey is getting Donnie out of there.. see's Sally and Kai are okay too.

"We need to go." Because all those big guns going off in the tunnel? Something is cracking, the tunnel is starting to give way. "We don't have time for this, Raphael, we have to /go/..." Ready to square off with his brother if necessary to keep him from pounding the guy into the pavement. As the tunnel begins to cave in.

Casey Jones has posed:
"Shit, he needs to lay off the energy drinks and Pizza. He is gaining weight." Casey teases as he is moving forward, as he is next to April, as he grins at her."Ya okay, little reporter that could?" His voice is soft, as his other hand is reaching out to stroke her cheek lightly as he looks back at the others, waiting now.

He is holding that large turtle over his right shoulder as he watches it all with narrowed eyes as he speaks softly. His eyes locked on the Raphael as his teeth biting into his bottom lip."Shit, is that what I look like when I lose my cool. Damn, I aint' going do that anytime soon, ya."

Kainashi has posed:
Leo and Raph had the man, who reeks of Bad Smells now, and she makes her approach, hesitantly, to Donnie, April, adn Casey. She sees Casey pull Donnie out.

She takes a break, taking a few more steps towards the purple-bandana'd turtle. She gives a nervous swallow, and as the rumbling around them intensifies, she swings her ears up, looking up at the ceiling of the room. She looks to Casey and April, then to Donnie. Then to Raph and Leo.

And then she speaks in her squeaky little voice.

    "Donnie..."

Raphael has posed:
"Leave me alone."

"Don't touch me, bro."

"I said..!"

Raphael isn't thinking straight. The only thing on his mind is making the guy's face look like pizza, and he's well on the way to getting there. Look, it's even starting to bubble.

Finally, Leonardo's more physical way of getting his attention works, to the point Raphael uses both hands to return it with interest, lashing out at his brother with both hands to the chest. "Dead? He's gonna be when I'm through with him! He killed.."

Donnie? Where is he? In his singularly focused mission of getting immediate revenge, he missed Casey working to help get Donatello out. Still nearby, April, Kainashi, and Sally may bear witness to the exchange, but the cracking and crumbling of their surroundings are making the pumping station very, very dangerous to remain near. In fact, a chunk of stone falls and lands just feet from both of them, almost hitting Victor as well. A couple smaller pieces glance off the back of Raphael's shell.

Angry as he is, a part of him knows Leonardo is right, that it's now or never when it comes to getting out of here. "C'mon," he says as he yanks at one of Leonardo's arms, his hand smeared with blood, trembling with anger, maybe something else.

He's already thinking he may have lost one brother tonight, the way Donatello wasn't moving. Two? That thought just can't be voiced right now. He moves swiftly. They all do. To safety. To finding out just how bad it is with Donnie.

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride stops and looks up for a moment. Immeadiately she realizes the same thing Leo does -- that heavy firepower indiscriminate in a limited underground space has had it's toll on the infrastructure. "He's right, we need to get out! We can sort the finer details out later." The lioness is quick on the heels of everyone else vacating the premises.

April O'Neil has posed:
April stands with Donnie and Casey, showing a faint smirk at the man with the hockey mask. "I'm fine, but yeah, lets get out of here." She glances up to Leo, and to where Raph is before she falls back when she har's Kai's quiet voice speaking Donatello's name. April moves up alongside Kai and puts an arm around her shoulders to walk with her. "He'll be okay." April quietly tries to reassure her whilst they make their way back out of this nasty situation.
