Ben is a clone created by Norman Osborn to replace Peter Parker. But he refused and escaped. He lived his own life for a few months in Gotham before returning to New York when issues began to arise. He's now searching for answers and a cure to his degrading condition.

Timeline

Timeline:
*2019 - Ben wakes up in a hospital in a lab at Oscorp. His memories are a bit jumbled and scrambled due to a drug that Osborn used to supress certain parts of his memory.

2019 - Norman Osborn uses the drug and his disorientation as a means to manipulate him, making him think that he was injured and a copy cat took his place thinking him dead.

2019 - Using a suit provided by Osborn Ben follows the real Peter around the city spying on him, looking for his opportunity to take his life back. Instead he finds no proof at all that the man he's following is a copy cat.

2019 - During a confrontation with Osborn over the lack of evidence of the copycat Ben becomes convinced that Peter is not a copy but somehow Ben is. He escapes the lab and flees New York.

2019 - Ben takes up residence in Gotham for a time working as a pizza delivery guy while he tries to figure out what to do with himself.

January 2020 - During a fight with some low level villains Ben taxes himself and blacks out. He wakes up in his bed not remembering how he got there.

February 2020 - This happens a couple more times before Ben realizes what must be wrong. He's suspected that he was a clone, but now he knows he's an unstable clone.

March 2020 - Ben returns to New York to try to find answers, and a cure to his instability.

Alike But Not the Same:
There are a lot of similarities between Ben and Peter but they are definitely not the same person. Ben is a little more cautious and a little more careful than the original. He takes a little more time to evaluate situations before going in. He's also a little more extroverted than Peter is, less shy when out of costume. Even though he is more outgoing he's also a little more serious than Peter when out of the costume. Jokes are still made but not with the same frequency.

Duty:
Ben feels the same sense of duty that Peter does. A moment of selfishness cost Uncle Ben his life, and it's a lesson that Ben will never forget.

Indomitable:
Ben does not give up. Ever. If there is life in his body he fights. This will probably get him killed one day, and that's okay. Because he will know that he went down giving his all and not holding back.

Living In Peter's Shadow:
Ben is conciouss of the fact that his very existence is a risk to Peter, and he makes an effort to be different. To dress differently, act differently, even his accent is different from Peter's. After all a risk to Peter is also a risk to those in Peter's life. And even if they're not actually a part of Ben's life his memories don't care that he's a clone.

Witty:
Ben handles stress in battle with wit. Snarky one liners and quick comebacks. It might be a wasteful use of his formidable intellect but at least he doesn't get distracted by his own running commentary.

Enhanced Mobility:
Ben can crawl and walk up walls and ceilings on any surface. Or at least any surface he's so far discovered. His enhanced speed and strength also allow him to attain running speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, and this even carries over into running on surfaces that are not the ground.

Genius Intellect:
Ben like the man he is a copy of, posesses an incredible intellect on par with some of the greatest minds on the planet. With time he might very well stand amongst them with scientific achievements. He has near perfect memory recall and is capable of complex problem solving even in the midst of a battle.

Healing Factor:
Ben's healing factor heals him at an incredible rate. He will heal broken bones in no more than a few hours typically and flesh wounds in minutes. More severe damage can take longer but typically if it doesn't kill him it won't keep him down long. He also processes toxins and poisons out of his system within minutes or hours depending on the potency of the attack.

Spider Sense:
Ben posesses a sixth sense that warns him of danger before his concious mind is aware of it. It's range extends out to about a mile away from him and it warns him of any incoming danger that would directly effect him. It also gives him an idea of the direction and proximity which when combined with his agility and reflexes make him an incredibly difficult target to deal damage to.

Superhuman Agility:
Ben is incredibly agile, capable of feats of acrobatics that no human can come near. He is able to bend, twist and jump incredibly fast. This in conjunction with his superhuman reflexes make him an incredibly quick opponent to fight against.

Superhuman Disability:
Ben's body is tougher and more resistant to many types of damage. This gives him a high level of resistance to blunt force, but it also gives him resistance to piercing damage as well such as from blades and guns though not to the same degree.

Superhuman Equilibrium:
Ben has a perfect state of equilibrium at all times. No matter what position he finds himself in and no matter what he balances on his balance remains perfectly, allowing him to stick to and reside on any object that can bear his weight.

Superhuman Reflexes:
Ben's reaction times are fraction of the human norm. He reacts at speeds that would seem impossible for a normal person. This combined with his agility enable him to dodge attacks and objects moving at incredible speeds, including bullets. When further combined with his spider sense his ability to avoid attacks is preternatural, often dodging out of instinct before he even knows an attack is coming.

Superhuman Stamina:
Ben can perform at peak levels for hours before tiring and recovers from exhaustion quicker than a normal person. This combined with his healing factor means injuries, toxins and poisons don't keep him down long.

Superhuman Strength:
Ben posesses strength far in excess of what a normal human is capable of, even in excess of that of many other masked or caped heroes. At present he can lift around 15 tons with no issue. He can strain himself up to around 25 tons or so but risks self harm when pushing himself to those limits.

Web Shooters:
While technically not a super power they are a tool that enables him to perform at a heightened level. They enable an even greater degree of mobility than he already possessed, sticking to anything, as far as he knows. He can use them to swing through the city at high speeds, tie up opponents, the application of their use is as limitless as Ben's imagination. Unlike Peter's web shooters Ben has modified his to use a specific twisting motion of his wrist rather than the tap motion of Peter's. He also added stinger darts with a paralytic venom and pellets that release webbing upon impact.

Computers:
Ben, or well Peter rather is an accomplished computer programmer. Ben has all those memories and skills enabling to him write and modify programs as well as do his fair bit of hacking. When he needs to.

Engineering:
Ben retains the knowledge and expertise granted by Peter's memories. Despite his age he is well educated in both chemical and mechanical engineering. Both skills required to continue manufacturing web fluid and maintaining his web shooters.

Inventor:
Ben is an inventor. He's even made customizations and improvements to his web shooters seperate from Peter's design. He crafted web pellets that explode on impact and venom darts capable of delivering a variety of different toxins and poisons though they're usually armed with a powerful paralytic.

Memories:
Ben's primary asset are his memories he inherited from Peter Parker. They're what make him who he is. They're the guide to his moral compass. They're the drive and push behind being a crime fighter. They're the knowledge and skills he uses. He has made his own memories since his creation but he draws on his memories of Peter's life heavily.

Weaknesses

Bad Luck:
Ben seems to have inherited Peter's bad luck. Whether outside the suit or in, if something can go wrong it seems to. Murphy's law should be renamed Parker's Law.

Osborn:
Ben has to be very careful to avoid Norman Osborn. He's not sure why the man had a clone of Peter made or what his plans were. But he knows who Ben is, and knows what Ben is.

Poor:
Ben is poor. He works as a pizza delivery guy, and currently doesn't have the money to get a place of his own in New York. It's an expensive city. It also means that the materials to create his web fluid are often creatively acquired. He hates doing it but until he figures out another way to acquire the materials he does what he has to.

Secret Existence:
His entire existence is a secret right now, let alone his identity. Sure he was spotted fighting crime in Gotham a time or two, but his costume is distinctly different from Spider-man's with the solid red suit and the blue hoodie he wears over it. He has not revealed who or what he is yet to Peter, and his own identity must remain a secret or it will also risk Peter's own identity.

Unstable Clone:
Ben is an unstable clone. At least for now. He's not sure how bad the instability is. He's not sure whether it's full cellular degredation or whether he's just an imperfect copy of Peter. All he knows is something is wrong with him. It's the entire reason he's returned to New York. To find answers and hopefully a cure. This instability can cause fluctuations in his powers and personality and over taxing himself can cause him to black out entirely with no memory of what transpires between the blackout and him waking up. Though he usually awakens in a safe place he has no memory of how he got there.

World On His Shoulders:
Sure it might not have /actually/ been him that failed to save Uncle Ben and Gwen but he feels the same weight and pressure on him that Peter does. He was created to replace Peter, but now he's just trying to live up to his example.

Gwen intervenes, but the decision to save Dr. Warren from harm and Ben from himself nearly breaks her.
No Sleep Til Brooklyn	December 17th, 2024	Scarlet Spider heads to Navy Yard in Brooklyn to find one Judith Kearse, who knows where Miles Warren is. He's joined by Black Cat and Venom who help him with the riff raff inside. Unfortunately, some goons arrive before he can get what he needs, so Ben takes Ms. Kearse elsewhere to extract Warren's location.
Like the Coldest Winter Chill	December 17th, 2024	Ben, temporarily cold-hearted and calculated, begins the hunt for Miles Warren, but mainly looking for a fight.
