Profile
Winslow Percival Schott used to be a legend in the Toy Industry. First gaining his fame by helping "revive" the troubled Henderson Toys line known as "My Precious Unicorn", Schott's complex toy designs became legendary in the Industry. All of this changed when, after his wife's death, Schott unknowingly sold his designs to be used in a war zone as weaponry. Schott, in retaliation, blew up the head executive in charge of this project, Dunhill, with a bomb hidden in a teddy bear. After that, Schott took the title "The Terrible Toyman" and went to Metropolis to seek revenge on the the rest of Dunhill's "cronies", causing his first of many encounters with Superman. Recently, Toyman has come out of retirement and has returned to Metropolis from Bermuda and is poised to announce his return.

Personality
Childish:
Winslow Schott is notorious amongst both Villains and Heroes for his childish behavior. Schott,
when not doing anything important, is often sighted playing with a large variety of his non-
weaponized toys, watching cartoons, and other acts one would associate with a child. With this
trait, Schott often finds it easier to associate with children and earn their trust much easier than
most adults.
Unfortunately, this trait carries over to when he fails at an objective. When
this does happen, Schott has been observed throwing childish temper tantrums, often yelling,
screaming, hoping up and down, and lashing out at even his own associates.
Kindly:
As a extension towards his fondness for Children Schott has occasionally been seen doing acts of
kindness. This mostly manifests in giving out free, non-gimmicked toys and sometimes candy to
children. Though, he has been known to financially aid a struggling family without expecting to be
paid back.
Polite:
Due to his upbringing in a "proper Yorkshire household", Toyman has being described as almost
unnervingly polite. In conversation with both friend and foe Schott always insists on using proper
etiquette, never stooping to insults or threats unless sufficiently angered.
Protective:
Schott is very protective of children. His career as a toymaker gas caused him to develop a
fondness for children and a desire to "preserve their innocence." No matter how destructive his
plans are, He will make sure any children in the area are not in the crossfire and will often go out
of his way to put them out of danger. He will also ruthlessly kill anyone who harms children,
"punishing" them for their actions against "the innocent".
Sociopathic:
Schott has developed sociopathic tendencies over the years, mostly due to the death of his wife
and the fact that his "innocent toys" was used for war. As a result, his conscience has
significantly weakened. As a result, he is able to cause widespread destruction without feeling a
bit of remorse, or justify it easily when what little of his conscience bothers him about it by
insisting that it is necessary to completing his goals.
Character Sheet
Powers
Skills
Engineering Genius:
Schott is first and foremost a engineering genius. Even before his turn to villainy, Schott was
well-known in both the Toy and Engineering worlds for his very complex, and advanced toy designs.
Nowadays however, Schott uses this talent for a more nefarious purpose, designing weaponry. Toyman's
weaponry is noted for it's seemingly simple looking, yet complex design, often taking hours or days
for Him to complete, even for something as simple as a toy biplane that shoots real bullets. Yet,
all the hard work is worth it when he releases his "creations" upon the world, often with deadly
results.
Toy Making:
As obvious from his alias, Winslow Schott is a master toy maker. Years of practicing his craft
had made Schott one of the most renowned figures in the toy industry. He still retains this skill,
making complex, though rather often simplistic looking toys. However, a lot of these toys are often
shells, containing deadly weapons like acid, bullets, fire, explosives, etc.
Resources
Deadly Toys:
Schott's weaponry is made up of his extensive collection of weaponized toys. These toys, while
they often take a while to make, are usually very effective at their jobs. Amongst the most "common"
toys in Schott's collection are Exploding Balls, Acid Gum, Super Soakers full of Liquid Nitrogen,
Toy Tanks that fire miniature artillery shells, Tin Soldiers that fire real bullets, Toy Planes that
shoot miniature bullets, and more.
Schott also has the habit of developing what he calls
"Specialty Toys", which are often weapons that take longer for him to develop, usually months, or
sometimes years, and are often useful for more "specialized crimes". These toys tend to be robotic,
often larger that Schott himself, and are designed to cause as much damage as possible and complete
their tasks efficiently. These toys come in the shapes of "Lego Golems, Life-Sized Robotic Ninjas,
Stuffed Kangaroos with Boxing Gloves, and more unorthodox creations.
Henchmen:
As Schott started to grow older, he realized he would need more help getting things done. So,
Toyman has recently started hiring "gangs of toughies" to help him in his endeavors. These men are
often seen clad in red plastic lab coats, jeans, and brown slacks, with the words TOY FACTORY
written in big, blocky, childish lettering on the back of the coat. These men are often equipped
with small caliber firearms. But, it isn't unusual for Toyman to arm at least one of them with his
"newest offensive toy". Schott makes sure these men follow his orders to a T, especially when it
comes to children, and has been known to callously kill of henchmen who anger him
significantly.
Money:
While Schott doesn't have a legitimate job now, he still has plenty of money. He has frugally
saved all the money he made from Henderson, and from his various toy designs made while in SoHo and
has dispersed them in various bank accounts under fake names. As a result, he has plenty of money to
continue his villainous career.
Schott's Workshop:
Winslow Schott always has a Workshop. This workshop is both a lab and a safehouse for Schott and
his men and is currently hidden in a old meat packing plant in the Industrial District. The Workshop
is part Engineering Lab, and part Toy Store. Non-gimmicked toys litter the ground and walls of this
place and intermingle with complex pieces of engineering equipment. The Workshop comes with a
complex security system filled with cameras, lasers, and traps, which allows Schott and his men to
know when there is an intruder. His Workshop comes with a hidden escape tunnel, which in theory,
will allow Schott to make a quick escape in case his Workshop is compromised.
Weaknesses
Human:
Behind all of Schott's toys and gadgets, Schott is still human and is no match for anyone
stronger than him, especially Heroes with powers.
Overweight:
Schott has never been in shape and as a consequence, he is overweight. This is often a problem
for Schott as it makes it harder for him to flee on foot from a bad situation, as he tends to run
out of breath quickly. It also makes him at risk for future health problems.
Temper:
Schott's temper is often his worst enemy. When angered, Schott's childish fits can prove most
irksome as they tend to blind him, and cause him to strike out when it would be wiser to flee.
