Profile
The Don of one of the most powerful crime families in Gotham. Once upon a time he OWNED the city of Gotham. Now that time may have passed but he's not going to give the city up easy.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 1944: Father meets mother during the war after he hits a landmine
* 1950 : Carmine is born
in a small Sicilian village.
* 1953: Carmine's father re-opens failed family busines. Profits
soar..
* 1955 : Work begins repairing stately Falcone manor. Family educators are hired back on.
* Christmas 1960 : Carmine watches his father murdered by local don after refusing to pay
tribute.
* December 28th 1960: Carmines elder brother is nailed to a cross after attempting
revenge for fathers death.
*December 29th 1960 : Armed Mafioso bust in the doors of the mansion
to capture Kill carmine. His mother has already brought him to the don to plead for the boys life.
She holds the don at knife point and is killed. Carmine and his younger sister are smuggled out of
town by a butler.
* February 1961: Carmine arrives in Gotham. He is separated from his sister in
the foster care system.
* 1963: Carmine is adopted makes friends with another local boy, Milos
Grapa. The two become best friends.
* 1965 : Carmine gets a job working at Grapa's fathers
business. He is fired when a local man claiming to be a Mafia Don threatens the owner forcing him to
hire his own son instead.
* 1967 : Carmine takes on two full time jobs working at the Steel Mill
and the Rail yard wanting to support a family.
* 1968 : The young man is married and drafted
into service in the US army in the same year.
* 1968-1973 : Carmine serves in Vietnam war. Earns
money on the side assisting in gun running. Builds criminal connections overseas.
* 1974:
Carmine and other Italian soldiers engage in petty theft from the richer parts of Gotham. They make
good money, good enough to pay for his eldest sons education.
* 1975 : The self proclaimed 'don'
demands tribute from the group. He is assassinated on July 4th by Carmine himself after it is
revealed the man was nothing more then a lone operator. Carmine is 'seen' by countless locals at the
celebration on the other side of town at the time of the murder.
*1976 : Carmine gains a great
reputation with local Italian migrant population. Many begin to give gifts in exchange for favors.
Milos Grapa is brought on as a bodyguard.
* 1977 : Carmine opens an investment firm to launder
his money, then a construction company, and finally an olive oil import business. His support of the
local public see the business boom, and he begins buying out the other criminal operations in
Gotham.
*1979-2004: The Second Golden Age of Crime. Carmine dominates Gotham crime during this
period. Criminals who 'cross the line' find themselves nailed to crosses earning him the nickname
'the roman' his crime family 'the roman empire'
* 2006: Activity of the mysterious 'bat' affects
profits of the Falcone Family.
* 2008: The Financial crash further damages Falcone business
weakening his hold, along with the ongoing mob war.
* 2009-2010: The bloody holiday killings
take place. Ending with the unmasking of Carmines own son Alberto as the killer who pleads guilty
and is sentenced to Arkham. Carmine is shot in the head and sent into a coma.
* Christmas 2011 :
Carmine awakens from his Coma, and takes back his position of leadership in spite of protest of his
daughter who had taken the reigns.
Timeline 2:
* 2012 : The Falcone family supplies weapons to anyone willing to fight the invaders and defend
Gotham. Membership in the crime family skyrockets. The reputation of Carmine skyrockets as well.
* 2014 : The case against the Falcones goes cold. Reconstruction of Gotham earns Falcone's
legitimate businesses a fortune. Power shifts hard towards masked supervilains as more mutants begin
to establish themselves.
* 2016 : Falcone Crime family opens membership to mutants for the first
time.
* 2017 : The Falcone Fund is opened providing education grants to those suffering
persecution for mutation. A similar fund is opened for those suffering from mental illness.

2020 : Carmine makes a public appearance declaring his refusal to step down as the head of his
'construction' business, and affirms his plans to 'bring Gotham back to its former glory.'

Personality
Extrovert:
Carmine is outgoing and confident, with a dedication to articulation that sees him placing
himself in the front of conversations.
Patient:
Carmine takes all the time he needs to get what he wants. He's willing to lose many battles if
it means winning the war, and has his own plans for dealing with most situations
Personal Ethics:
He has a strong sense of personal ethics. A drive and dedication to the way that he beleives
things should be at the end of the day. This is uncompromising undenyable. And he gets very angry
when it's violated.
Vindictive:
Carmine does not let a slight go. He can't afford to. He knows that in his line of work
forgiveness can often be a sign of weakness, and sharks can smell blood in the water. Even if he
forgives someone in private he feels a drive to make a show of things.

Healthy As a Horse:
In spite of his advanced age Carmines constant excersise and dedication to his physical
conditioning has seen him retain his energy and physical well being allowing him to operate much
better then most men his age. While it's far from super human he can go toe to toe with the average
man of 30.
Skills
Military Training:
Carmine is trained in standard combat with automatic weapons. Rifles, Pistols, and general small
arms. He knows how to survive in the wilderness, and how to drive vehicles in combat
scenarios.
Well Educated:
Carmine received the best education his family could offer. Finance, Admin work, engineering,
history, philosiphy, and chemistry.
Resources
Friends In Low Places:
Carmine has a vast network of contacts developed over a lifetime of criminal enterprises. Favors
paid for favors and plenty of debts left of yet unpaid. He's always willing to call them in.
La Cosa Nostra:
Though Carmine's crime family may not be nearly as powerful as it once was, and the entirety of
Italian Mafia is a slim shadow of its former self when compared to the Mexican Cartels and Biker
Gangs of the United states it remains one of the most powerful crime families in Gotham. Countless
faceless mooks at various levels of the orginization. They hold influence in: Gun Running, Drug
Production (Distribution, and sale), prostitution, Loan Sharking, Protection Rackets, Large Scale
Insurance Fraud, Tax Fraud, Money Laundering, Intimidation, Ponzi Schemes, Counterfitting (Of
jewlery and clothing as well as cars and money.), and automotive theft.
Legitimate Business:
Carmine is the founder of several completely legitimate businesses including Falcone
Construction, Falcone Finance, Red Bird Pizza, A++ Cars, Falcone Olive Oil Imports, and Blackbird
Real-Estate. These businesses offer not only a cover for his ilicit operations but a legitimate
source of regular finance.
Weaknesses
Code of Honor:
Carmine lives by a strict code of ethics and does his part to enforce it on everyone who works
under him under penalty of death. The code can best be described by the following quote:
"Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot
take care of himself without police protection is both. It is as cowardly to betray an offender to
justice, even though his offences be against yourself, as it is not to avenge an injury by violence.
It is dastardly and contemptible in a wounded man to betray the name of his assailant, because if he
recovers, he must naturally expect to take vengeance himself."
As such he refuses to go to the
police even to exonerate himself or those close to him. He also holds firm that any debt dies with
the one who incurred it.
The Old Ways:
Carmine holds firm to the old ways of the Mafia. The ancient days when they were protectors of
the people, not the police who were so often corrupted beyond measure. He yearns for a return to the
golden days of crime when his family was a major name in Italy. He genuinely wants to protect the
people of Gotham by building them up into people who can defend themselves and their families to a
point they no longer need the Mafia's protection. This dedication to the people puts him at odds
with his own criminal syndicate and often leads to a butting of heads from the younger generation
who don't see the appeal in his ethics.
