Profile
An orphan from the war torn Balkans, she was taken into the service of Sebastian Shaw and has worked unerringly for his benefit - and by association, that of the Hellfire Club - for many years. Her Mutation gives her powerful mental abilities of analysis, prediction, memory and organization, and makes it difficult to read her mind by psychic means.
Timeline
Timeline:
1992: Tessa is born to unknown parents in the Balkans.
1992-2009: At an early age Tessa's frightening intelligence becomes evident, ostracizing her from fellow children and most adults. Eventually her parents are killed in the fighting that raged through the wars in that region, and Tessa falls into the hands of an ambitious Russian Mobster who used her talents for analysis to maintain the upper hand in negotiations and business with the help of her observations. All the while treating her like a dog. Tessa dispassionately does the job that keeps her fed, until the day her employer shared a meeting with Sebastian Shaw. With her abilities she saw quickly that he was hopelessly outmatched by Shaw, and, seizing a desperate opportunity, began to advise the mobster incorrectly that lead to him inadvertently admitting to facts that revealed his attempts to cheat Shaw in a clumsy attempt to save face. In the aftermath, the mobster and his men were all dead. Shaw, his men, and Tessa were not. Recognizing her part, and curious of her talents, Shaw offered to let Tessa come with him. Tessa accepted.
2009-2020: Recognizing the depths and potential of Tessa's unique Mutation, Shaw quickly decides he wants to utilize her talents. To this end, her establishes her citizenship and pays her way through college, which she breezes through in record time, to create the bare minimum cover for her existence in his employ. Shortly after her graduation, she came to work as his personal assistant - both in reality, and as an outward cover - while secretly serving as a perfect living database of all knowledge and encounters he wanted to be able to recall, using her abilities to analyze situations and the potential outcomes of any give action. She has served him with unwavering loyalty, and often finds herself in the darkest inner workings and sanctum of the Hellfire Club as the assistant to the Black King.

Personality
The Living Supercomputer:
Tessa is a quiet, composed woman who behaves - almost unwaveringly - in a businesslike and professional manner, her composure impenetrable enough to disguise any outwards interest or feelings, should they exist at all. She is blunt with facts and assessments, and can appear inconsiderate. With her powers of analysis and prediction, very little truly surprises her, and she tends to see the world - including people - in terms of data and variables, and seems to find little use in most people unless they can be used to advance Shaw. The few exceptions to this are Mutantkind, with which she has found a place after years of exploitation; and Sebastian Shaw himself, who she perceives as the inevitable winner of the grander conflict and ambitions he engages in, regarding him as an absolutely remarkable person. Regardless of her motives, she has proven unwaveringly loyal to Sebastian Shaw, and, by proxy, the Hellfire Club. With her experience as the common liaison for the daily running of the Hellfire Club, she has learned to seem (somewhat) more personable publicly, and has begun to thaw slightly around those she finds useful or interesting, and greatly in private with Shaw.

Eidetic Memory:
As the title says. Tessa's memory is perfect. Her senses are human, she can be fooled, but whatever it is that she senses, she will remember with perfect accuracy.
Firewalled:
Tessa's mind is partitioned. There are boundaries and separations which she can make permeable or opaque from the rest of her brain at will.
At all times, Tessa has one 'cover' mind. It thinks normal thoughts for the situation at hand and knows only what it should know for her current cover personality. If Tessa is mentally attacked she uses the same tactics she uses for normal combat. Throw the fight, give all the information that her cover personality holds, and wait.
Mental Capacity:
Tessa's mutation has given her an incredible ability to process and analyze information she hears, sees, and reads; storing all of it with photographic memory to be called upon at almost any time. She can use this analytical mind to predict the actions of others, and the outcomes of possible actions with startling accuracy, and can compartmentalize tasks to multitask with alarming ease. Because of the unusual, convoluted structure of her mind, it is unusually difficult to read her thoughts with psychic abilities.
Self-Control:
Tessa has highly advanced control over her own body. She does not twitch or flinch unless she chooses to do so and is a master of precise motion. She is able to relax this control in order to live life, but often seems to be quite detached from the world.
Skills
Computers:
Tessa is conversant in most current computer languages. She is not a creative person, and will never be a true hacker.
Firearms:
Tessa is a skilled marksman, due in no small part to ability to calculate trajectories, compensate for wind speed, and other variables. Her particular abilities transfer best to the sniper rifle, in which she is world class.
Interrogation:
Interrogation may involve a diverse array of techniques, ranging from developing a rapport with the subject to outright torture, and Tessa knows how to employ them.
Linguistics:
Tessa is fluent in many languages and dialects. She can pick up other languages with breathtaking speed, her eidetic memory a considerable asset in this field. She is also able to repeat words she has heard even if she does not understand them at that time. For purposes of plot, she can be able to understand any time that it is appropriate for the story.
Mathematics:
Tessa is one of the world's best mathematicians, able to compute complex formulas in her head with inhuman speed and accuracy. This is not merely formulaic, she is able to apply mathematics to complex situations and determine probabilities of outcomes or necessary trajectories of a rocket, or a punch.
Organization:
Tessa's primary skill set is one of organization. She is a brilliant secretary and is able to set schedules, plan ahead, and never, ever forgets a date.
Predictive Fighting:
Tessa does not generally fight. She is fully capable, knowing many martial arts, and if forced to do so can fight with blinding capability. However, she prefers to lose fights when possible. She does not wish to be known as a skilled combatant and is well practiced in throwing fights. When facing opponents who are dangerous to her, she simply simulates a loss. If forced to fight, she understands positioning and body dynamics better than nearly anyone on earth, and she is a keen observer of others' fighting patterns.
Basically, Tessa fights using math and statistics.
Vehicles:
Tessa is capable of analyzing her situation and making logical guesses as to the likely use of levers, wheels, and all types of buttons. All vehicles follow certain rules and she can figure out how to drive them with a small amount of effort, relative to the complexity of the vehicle being decoded.

Sebastian Shaw:
Tessa is in the employ of the incredibly wealthy and powerful Sebastian Shaw, and may - at his command - make use of many of his assets, resources, and connections.
The Hellfire Club:
Tessa is the Black Herald to Shaw's King, and assists in the day-to-day operations of both the publicly accessible and member-restricted parts of the club. While she would ultimately need the permission of one of the Kings or Queens to truly draw on the full might of the Club, she's built her own connections among the staff and VIPs and has personal favors she can trade or collect upon if necessary.
Weaknesses
Amoral:
Tessa is capable of doing some very unspeakable acts if it would promote Shaw's health, wealth, success, or happiness. She does this by creating a personality which has no issue with the acts, and then allowing it to be the dominant personality for the time that it is required. She is capable of any act no matter how depraved, though she is aware that the effect on her mind must be part of the eventual equation.
Memory:
Tessa's memory is perfect. She not only does not forget, she can not forget. Everything that she has ever done or that has ever been done to her is waiting inside of her to be brought out, and Tessa has seen and done truly awful things in her life.
Single-minded Devotion:
Tessa is exceptionally devoted to the advancement and success of Sebastian Shaw, even as she is entirely aware of his faults. She has no qualms about twisting those faults to her own ends, so long as the conclusion is a success for the man.
Standoffish:
Tessa is not a... traditionally charming woman. Though possessed of a certain dry with that is usually indistinguishable from seemingly taking things too seriously or literally, Tessa is unlikely to sway anyone to her side with personal charisma alone.
Uncreative:
Tessa, with all of her data and files and collections of statistics, is not the person to go to for outside the box ideas. She is deluged with information, constantly collating it and running numbers on possible outcomes. She is also bound by those numbers, and cannot come up with creative solutions on the fly.
