Tandy Bown is a high school student and sometime runaway. She's disconnected from her family, thrown out by her mother. Her father was a famous computer programmer but now he's disappeared, living somewhere in India as a philosopher and sheep herder. Her mother was a famous soap opera star, now in her declining years. She is not very important in a general sense.

Timeline:
06/12/2001: Tandy Bowen was born outside of Cleveland, Ohio to Melissa Bowen.
2010: Tandy's father went missing, leaving his computer program fortune behind to travel to India to become a philosopher and sheep herder.
2011: Melissa was featured in several tabloids for her declining acting career
2013: Melissa started dating Phillip Carlisle, who became Tandy's new chauffer to dance class, amongst other things.
2015: Tandy received an award for her dance but fought with her drunken mother after the recital and she crashed the car.
2019: Tandy ran away from home and took the bus to New York.
2019, Summer: Tandy and her runaway friends were forcibly given a strange drug that mutated them and gave them new powers.
2019, winter: Tandy adopted the alias Dagger and put a dent in Marshall's drug trade.
2020: Melissa Bowen found her daughter, and they fought again, so she refused to have Tandy back.

Immature:
Tandy has more growing up to do. She's dodged some of life's challenges she could probably tough out with some more patience, but she doesn't have very much. She can be more stubborn than flighty but often has a one-track mind to do something or get something done for herself, putting off other things for random reasons.

Selfless:
She's intelligent and good-hearted, willing to help and put herself out there for others, even before herself. Even when she's being stubborn or sarcastic, Tandy can come around to find the good in people or strive to do the right thing to help. Tandy is often in the middle of charities and benefits.

Survivor:
Tandy has been through a lot in life but she's put up with most of it by going her own way. Tandy has a hard edge and she doesn't take any crap. Not much anyway, before she speaks up. She doesn't have much patience but she has a strong personal conviction and determination to make up for it.

Aura:
Tandy can create an aura of light around her. She can expel this lightforce aura and send a shockwave of light energy from her around her. This flash can have a variety of effects, like temporary blindness, concussive blast, or effects similar to her daggers. Her aura can be heated around her to intense temperatures that can melt steel and its brightness can exceed thousands of lumens.

Daggers:
Tandy can create daggers out of lightforce and can throw or project them from her hands. She can also mentally control them, though she has a limited ability to control them when they are out of sight. They can solidify as hard as diamond and can ricochet off hard surfaces to redirect in other directions to seek the target Tandy wills them toward. The daggers can shatter on mental command and dispurse or reduce in size, creating more sharp weapons. The daggers can travel as fast as a bullet and shock the human nervous system on contact by "draining" a person's life force, thereby making them weak, loopy amd vulernable to further injury or death. The effect usually has varying results depending on the size and will of the target but at worst, it will feel like a hard punch, and at best, a dagger can knock somebody out.

Lightforce:
Tandy is composed of Living Light, a form of brightly colored from of Universal energy that can be used in a number of ways. This "lightforce" lives within her body, maintaining and elevating Tandy's human vitals. She can generate more lightforce at will. Doing so takes some effort and is tied to her will, so the more she generates, the more it weakens her. The Light is a pure form of energy that can cleanse disease and toxins from most things on touch. It has a strong sentient will of its own and can act contrary to malignant forces in accordance with Tandy's beliefs, so The Light can cleanse a number of malignant forces trying to invade others or manipulate the area around her aura. This aura has a number of powers as well.

Sword:
Tandy can combine some of her lightforce daggers into a solid sword or pole to use in hand to hand combat. The light sword operates like a regular sword except it's ten times as hard as steel.

Dancer:
Tandy is a trained dancer and skilled athlete. Her flexibility, balance, and athletics are above average. She competes in gymnastics in high school and practiced ballet. Her expertise is tumbling, flipping, jumping, and other acrobatics.

Education:
Tandy is still in high school and has sporatic attendance due to her sometime runaway status. She is talented with art and music and gymnastics.

Streetwise:
Tandy is an amateur urban survivalist. She has a surprisingly big amount of knowledge about the streets and New York in general. She has good instincts about the city and contacts in the police, as well as the local churches for news.

Church:
Tandy has befriended the priests at Holy Ghost Church on 42nd Street and neighboring churches, who believe she is an angelic woman gifted with The Light. They help her occasionally and give her the bare minimum when she needs it.

Weaknesses

Boiling Light:
Tandy can get burned out, a high fever and grow sick if some lightforce within her is not expelled or absorbed out of her every day. She cannot survive if she doesn't do this.

Lifestyle:
Tandy is a homeless teenager with a disconnected family status. She is homeless but has an excuse for everything and bends the rules in order to survive on her own. She has many moral and ethical ethical dilemmas this way, because she can't bum stuff off her friends with The Church or Salvation Army. In this way, most of her lifestyle is littered with lies, which she hides from others.

Mob Target:
Simon Marshall has been running drugs in New York for some time and he has clashed with Tandy and her friends several times. He is personally responsible for ordering the experiment drug testing on her and has later discovered her name. By continuing to clash with him and his operations, she is in extreme danger. However, no one will help, and no one really knows the real dangers behind Marshall's drugs.

Resources:
Tandy doesn't have the backing most people do and she's lacking resources, such as a permanent residence and a regular job. She is disconnected from her family and her school attendance in her hometown is nonexistent, and in New York it's not much better.
