The one, the only, Batgirl. Which isn't the whole story of course. She is also Oracle and the Police Comissioners daughter. Which role does she need to play and where can change very dynamically but she is up for the challenge.

Timeline:
* 1992: Born September 23rd 1992 in Gotham to James and Barbara Eileen Gordon

* 1992-2003: Exceptionally bright child soaring through school once she entered it while her Dad was a rising star in GCPD.

* 2003: Mother left them when Babs was 11

* 2004: Her father starts talking about a new vigilante which intrigues the 12 year old

* 2005: Batman's first credible sighting. Barbara becomes obsessed.

* 2006: Barbara's obsession only intensifies after she catches her father having a secret meeting the Batman. She has her dad enroll her in martial arts classes. Thinking self defense training would be good he concedes.

* 2007: Genius Wiz Kid graduates highschool early and enrolls at Gotham State University. Also earns her black belt in Kung Fu.

* 2008 Summer: After her father laughs about her desire to go into the FBI she crashes a party hosted by the GPCD for Charity with a homemade Batgirl costume to spite her father. Coincidently Killer Moth also crashed the party and while she saved Bruce Wayne, she eventually had the tables turned on her and was saved by Batman and Robin.

* 2008 Fall: Ends up joining the Caped Crusader and Boy Wonder in their crusade against Crime in Gotham as Batgirl officially.

* 2009 Spring: Graduates GSU with honors in two years with her Bachelors in Forensic Psychology at age 17. Also earns her black belt in Jujitsu.

* 2011: The Joker striking out at the Gordon family cripples Barbara and tortures her father.

* 2011-2016: Barbara may not be able to walk but her mind is still a wonder. She adopted the identity of Oracle and built the Clocktower with Bruce's funding. She was the eyes and ears of the Bat Family operations. She also founded a team of female heroes called The Birds of Prey during this time period guiding them as Oracle as well. On a personal front she built out a very lucrative Green Energy business with offices in Gotham and Metropolis. She also never stopped working out and learning martial arts during this time period, though she was limited by her paralysis in the range of forms.

* 2017: With her father's assistance and Wayne Medical's innovation Barbara was able to have an operation and receive a cybernetic implant in the nape of her neck restoring her ability to walk.

* 2018: After a year of recovery, intense physical therapy, and additional training, Barbara took up the Batgirl cowl again.

Despite everything she has been through, she still finds time to enjoy the little things. She is fast on her feet with quips and flirts. Ready to offer a smile and encouragement to her teammates and members of the family. You need to find humor in life and the sunshine or it is too easy to drown in darkness.

Dedicated:
She is dedicated to Batman's crusade. She has a driving need for justice and to help people. Despite the setbacks both personal and to Gotham as a whole she has never given up the fight for what is right.

Social Chameleon:
She spent enough time training with Batman and assuming the Batgirl and Oracle personas as well as Barbara Gordon to be able to adapt herself to many situations. She knows how to seamlessly blend between roles and outward perceptions of her personality like a pro.

Athletic:
Babs maintains a rigorous training routine to keep her body and skills sharp and honed. Doubly so since she has come back from her crippling injury knowing she can never let that happen again.

Bat Skills:
The stuff they don't train you in schools or even martial arts classes. She has learned from the very best when it comes to esoteric skills of the Bat Family. Things like ninja grade stealth, ziplines, grapple guns, bat-a-rangs, combat driving, combat flying, and so many more it would take too long to list.

Computers:
She is pretty much the best out there when it comes to computers. This includes hacking, where she is an expert computer hacker. She is able to breach the highest security systems and has backdoors into the alphabet soup of Government Agencies. She is also by far the most computer literate of the Bat-family, and one of best users of computers worldwide. She is always improving and tinkering with both her Oracle Array and the BatComputer to make them better. Her skills are essentially rivaled by none.

Dancing:
Barbara took up being a ballerina as a young girl and while she never did anything with it she was quite talented.

Detective:
She is a world class detective trained by Batman himself and raised by Commissioner Gordon. Barbara easily holds her own on a team of the world's greatest detectives. Some of the skills she has mastered include Interrogation, Intimidation, Investigation, Forensics, Leadership, Lock Picking, and countless others.

Genius Intellect:
Barbara was and continues to be a Whiz Kid. Part of her edge is her Eidetic Memory which allows her to recall anything she has ever seen. She has put that to use in a variety of ways that include business management of her very successful green energy company. Also her multilingualism covering fluent Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and lesser familiarity with a variety of other languages. The degrees in Forensic Psychology and Law with a variety of other scholarly subjects not covered with official degrees.

Indomitable Will:
Nothing has truly broken her. She has been through hell and back thanks to the Joker but she persevered. She has the crusade and a focus that will see her through. While she may not have the fortitude of Will that Bruce has, there is a reason he trusts her to do right by the mission.

Martial Arts:
Barbara is a trained martial artist. She was trained by a variety of masters over the years including of course Batman. Some of the formal styles mastered include Boxing, Jujutsu, Karate, Dragon Style Kung Fu, Judo, and Eskrima.

Bat Family:
As part of the Bat Family, Barbara has access to technology and allies that help her keep up with the demands of her vigilante life. This includes cutting edge tech, the Batcomputer, and most importantly, it's other members.

Batcycle:
This is by far her favorite mode of transport. She has had one since before her injury. Several in fact since it is almost a running joke how often these things get destroyed fighting crime. Still she prefers this to a batmobile or batwing anyday.

Birds of Prey:
While she may not be Oracle anymore she built up a fantastic group of teammates, allies, and resources while she led them. That network of heroes hasn?t vanished just because she can walk again and take the fight directly to the streets once more.

Gcpd:
She is the beloved daughter of the GCPD. She knows the precincts, the beat cops, the detectives, and as long as she doesn?t do anything too outlandish has an extreme amount of access and contacts.

Gear:
All of the bat family gear you would expect. Bat-a-rangs, smoke pellets, explosive pellets, grapple guns, bat shark spray, and the like.

Income:
Barbara's primary income source started with the creation of Gordon Clean Energy. This company was founded to create cleaner sources of energy for large cities such as Gotham, or Metropolis (which became its largest source of revenue. With wind farms providing energy to both cities, the company went on to produce smaller products for individual homes, and small businesses looking to save money in unique ways.

Barbara has stepped down as management for the company as of early 2022, deciding to focus more on the Birds of Prey, and the city of Gotham itself, as the woes of the city have not improved in a way that she finds satisfactory. Because of this, Barbara has also branched out her sources of income to more intimate affairs.

She now offers cyber-security software that she has programmed from the ground up herself. These programs are being licensed out to many major Gotham businesses, and also being offered at discount rates to smaller businesses as well. Cyber-security remains one of Barbara's main passions, as a talented hacker, there is nobody better to break in to a company's security, but also there-by protect it from other hackers.

Barbara is also working on AI Assistants in hopes of offering it to the public soon. This technology is currently helping the Birds of Prey, but further than that, it's also running multiple online social media platforms for Barbara to help keep her public persona up. From videos, to social media platforms like Twitter, Barbara has a active AI presence that is actually drawing in some revenue as well. Through this she is testing her AI system, fine tuning it, and monitoring it heavily as a ongoing experiment.

Due to her intellect, Barbara is constantly dreaming up new ideas to occupy her mind, new ways she can put her thoughts out in to the real world to help others. The money that she makes off of these things, is almost entirely being put back in to the Birds of Prey, and to her endeavors as one of the Bat-family's most active vigilantes.

Oracle Array:
She designed and built out a truly impressive computer system and AI while she was working as Oracle. Those resources haven?t vanished just because she is out in the street and remains accessible remotely while on missions.

Suits:
She has a small collection in the Clocktower ranging from a couple versions of the original batgirl suit from before her injury to the current marvel she is wearing. Not quite as death defying as when she was younger the current suit is much better armored both because technology came a long way in the five years she was benched and also due to the new suits design.

Weaknesses

Enemies:
She has her own share as Batgirl on one hand and Oracle on the other. When you add the Bat Family to it she has a very large Rogue's Gallery of her own at this point. Not to mention her father's collection of enemies who might strike at her to get at him like the Joker did.

Loyalty:
Barbara's loyalties to the Bat-Family are certainly a strength, but they can also be a weakness. She will go to the aid of anyone in this group when called, so it can be turned against her by villains. She would go to the aid of her father without question -- and again, this link and loyalty could be turned against her. When you do a job as dangerous as the one she does at night, having people you love is a huge risk because they can be used to take you down. It doesn't mean she'll give them up, though.

Neural Implant:
Babs had experimental surgery after her shooting. There is an implant at the base of her brain that connects to her lower spine. This bypasses the missing section of spine and allows her to use her legs and function normally. The downside is if the implant is damaged or malfunctions she could become paralyzed and/or suffer brain damage. This could occur from severe shocks, EMPs, and also powers such as technokinesis.

Risky Mobility:
Barbara was paralyzed after being shot by the Joker. While she may have overcome it with a groundbreaking medical implant the fact is without it she is still paralyzed.

High speed duels, risky leaps from vehicle to vehicle, bullets and crossbows are exchanged. The convoy is taken apart piecemeal. The orchestrator of the Heist, the Calculator arrives on scene to try and personally assure success. Whether baited or part of the plan, nothing that evening goes acording to his. Unfortunately for him and his cronies, BatGirl, Batwoman and the Huntress ruin any chance to get away with the goods, or keep their freedom. The GCPD arrive for the aftermath, the threat already eliminated, spinning their wheels or sputtering semi-conscious.

Another Night in Gotham	August 29th, 2021	Oracle begins to vet the mysterious Huntress that aided Flamebird. She does it in the guise of Batgirl.. that'll be confusing when Helena meets the current Batgirl. No doubt she'll put two and two together at that point. Huntress is now a prospect and Babs needs to talk to Bruce... because Helena Wayne? there's no such thing as a coincidence.
Oracle summons you, Red Robin	August 27th, 2021	Babs tells Tim about she got them scars.. or, how she ended up in a chair and why she isn't in one any more. She apologises for biting at him over comms at Arkham and reveals to him that she's the Oracle.

Stare Into The Abyss	August 22nd, 2021	A crew of Bats, Birds, and adjacent allies oversee a brief window of maintenance at Arkham Asylum that has many of the inmates temporarily housed in the yard. Quick response times on their parts manages to stop a riot before it can start, thwart an assassination before it can be attempted, and uncover a plot that might have had explosive consequences, without casualties. Though a lot of people got punched real hard.
Misfittings	August 22nd, 2021	Babs comes home from the mission at Arkham and finds Charlie enjoying a computer game. She decides to get what's been on her mind out in the open and asks Charlie if she's still happy here.. and if so, would she like to become her legal daughter. The hug suggests that may have been a yes.
