• February 14, 2003 - What a perfect world! A few months after Lee Zhan and Lee Jingyi move from China to Beverly Hills, California, they have their first and only child. They name her Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee.

• September 2, 2004 - Not long after learning to walk, Jubilation follows in the footsteps of her mother and begins training as a hopeful for the United States Olympic gymnastics team.

• March 15, 2016 - Barely a teenager, Jubilee is forced to move to the Beverly Hills Orphanage after her parents are murdered in front of their home in a horrible act of mistaken identity.

• April 16, 2017 - Even the orphanages in Beverly Hills are terrible. Within a year of entering the system, Jubilation runs away. She ends up living at the mall, which is not as great as it sounds.

• December 6, 2017 - The stress of her daily cat-and-mouse game with mall security activates Jubilee's latent mutant abilities. Now more than a mere nuisance, mall security hires outside contractors to handle their mutant problem.

• May 4, 2018 - Jubilation is rescued from the mall by the X-Men and brought to live and learn at Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. Life begins turning around for Jubilee.

• July 29th, 2021 - In the summer before her senior year, Jubilation is at the wrong place at the wrong time and gets killed by a powerful curse intended for another.

• July 31, 2021 - A few nights later, Jubilation Lee rises from the dead, ready to start her senior year as a vampire. It's not easy.

• February 12, 2022 - The vampire Duke of Westchester arranges to marry Jubilation to further consolidate his power, resulting in her being kidnapped and imprisoned.

• February 12, 2022 - With help from her friends at Xavier's, Jubilation kills the vampire Duke and is declared Duchess of Westchester.

• June 10, 2022 - June Against all odds, Jubilation finishes high school.

Defensive
A lot of Jubilee's outward personality is a defense mechanism. She's s had a rough go at life and peppering it up with positivity makes it a little easier to swallow.. in a way, she's the poster child for Fake it Til you make it. Some days she doesn't want to be positive at all, she wants to throw stuff and stomp her feet, but she smiles through so that people don't have to see her sweating.

Loyalty
Jubes might cone off as kind of aloof because of her carefree nature, but she's extremely loyal to her friends. She had them growing up, but it was a different atmosphere to what's become common to her now. She's natural drawn to people who are cast out and forms bonds with them quickly... and one of the few ways to get on her bad side is to screw with the people she cares about.

Upbeat
Jubilee has been through a lot, at a very young age, but she's a sunny side up kind of gal. She has her bad days, of course, but she's always looking for the brightside with a joke to smooth over the savagary.

Fireworks
Jubilation can create sub-atomic explosions that vary in size, strength, color, and brightness. To the casual observer, these orbs look like little more than miniature explosions of light, quite capable of causing temporary blindness if they get bright enough. Their destructive power has a wide range, going from "ooh, those tickle!" all the way to the destruction of various materials, including metal, solid wood, and, yes, flesh. These explosions are completely controlled by Jubilee through thought, will, and creativity, and can even detonate at her mental command, allowing her to create "time bombs" that explode at strategic moments. While the technical term for these little beauties might be "plasmoids," Jubilee would tell you that they're her fireworks, they're dangerous, and that they're really dope at parties.

Vampire Powers
Being a vampire, Jubilee is stronger and faster than most mortals. She can punch through doors and windows and even briefly dodge bullets. Her senses of sight and sound are particularly keen, allowing her to see in almost total darkness and pick up sounds that normal ears just can't. In a quiet room, Jubilation can even hear the sound of a person's heartbeat from within their chest. Since she's undead, Jubilation will never get sick or age or die. She rises each night looking the way she did when she was turned at eighteen years old. She always has that same split-end she had that night and any piercings or tattoos she might get will need to be redone every night. Wounds recover at an incredible rate. Mundane ones usually heal within minutes, while supernatural wounds (such as a splash of holy water) can take longer, even days or weeks.

For transportation, Jubilation can transform into a bat and fly short distances. It's not an effective way to travel but it can help escape a bad situation in a pinch. Her strongest ability is what she calls "glamouring." With just eye contact, Jubilee can create confusing mental effects among mortals, influencing them to do things for her or forget things they've seen or heard. How effective this might be is a direct product of how much she's able to interact with the mortal and how strong of mind they might be. Jubilee is still working on learning to control this, so it's not uncommon for her to wear sunglasses, even indoors, to prevent accidents.

Oh, and Jubilation has four razor sharp fangs capable of tearing through flesh: two canines on top, two on the bottom. Wounds from Jubilation's fangs can be healed with a lick of her tongue, should she need to feed without leaving a trace.

Artist
Jubes likes art, and why shouldn't she? It's beautiful. She's also not bad at creating art, specifically paintings, and it's one of the reasons she's able to keep such a sunny disposition in the face of insurmountable adversity.

Electronics
More of a hobbyist than a professional electrician, Jubilee can figure out most machines so long as she doesn't have to write down how it works. She doesn't understand the math behind it, she just understands the process. Which means she can fix broken stuff, but wouldn't really beable to explain how she did it. It's not a sixth sense or anything, she just pays attention. Makes her super handy when the fry machine at Burger Shack goes down.

Fighting
Jubilee is a Junior at Xavier's school for gifted Mutants. She's done combat sims and gone through self defense courses a plenty.. Combined with her gymnastics ability, she's a pretty exceptional, mobile fighter that would give most street level hoods a run for their money... She's still a kid, mind, and has a lot to learn, but she can throw them hands if she needs to.

First-Aid
Jubilee is certified in CPR and first aid. She's no medic, but in a pinch she can stablize someone until professionals arrive. This is specifically true where it relates to unusual wounds one might receive during, say, a mutant attack. Or specifically against human physiology.

Gymnastics
Jubilee has been in gymnastics since she was 8. At one time, ages passed, she was thought a likely participant for the olymic games, which would have been awesome for a variety of reasons. She flips and cartwheels and bendy backs and doopty rolls with the best of them. This also translate well into PARKOUR!

Leadership
It's a developing ability, but Jubilee has some pretty spectacular role models. She pays attention during classes, she reads up on tactics, and she watches more experienced students preformances in exercises. She knows her friends abilities and puts together ways that they can work together as a team. She isn't /quite/ good enough to actually tell them how to DO that, but sometimes being a good leader is first knowing when to shut up and follow.

Optimism
Never discount weaponized Optomism as a skillset. Jubilee is a glass is half full kind of gal, always looking for the positive angle in every situation. Despite everything she's been through, she still has a pretty high opinion of people as a general rule and it comes through in her banter. That said, she does not suffer fools or bullies. She might be optomistic, but she's not naive.

Parkour!
Because Jubilee is such an exceptional gymnast, she's also pretty good at free running. Leaping over things, descending from great heights by otherwise unusual means, and looking super cool in the process!

Wit
Oh boy, Jubilee has a sharp tongue. Those who run aground and tempt the fate of the optomistic asian savage will learn first hand how much mighter the pen can be than the sword. Her first line of defense is always crushing someones ego into a million pieces with a well timed verbal barb. So long's they deserve it.

Xavier's
Jubilee is a student at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and as a result has a host of benefits related to it. The least of which is ready access to very powerful friends.. But this is far more than that. She's got advanced training in using her abilities, tactical training simulations, weapons training, self defense... not to mention a standard curriculum with several very intelligent professors? Oh yeah, it's good to be gifted.

Dyscalculia
Jubilee is bad with numbers. This isn't like other kids who just don't like math, either, she's legit bad with them. She's not very good in school because of it. She doesn't try as hard and leans on her disability as a crutch.

Guilty
Jubilee lost her parents at a young age and she harbors a small bit of guilt that she wasn't there to help them. There's nothing she could have /done/ of course, but this is clinical case of loss manifest as guilt.

Mutant
There's plenty of benefits to being a mutant, powers and cool tricks namely, but there's even more hardships. People are distrusting of you for no apparent reason and the world doesn't seem ready to accept you as a person based entirely on things out of you control. They're not hunted on sight, but they may as well be right?

Underwhelmed
Jubilee doesn't really care about scholastic things. She doesnt' apply herself in school half as hard as she should and it shows. All other aspects of her life? Breeze. She'll throw herself into almost anything, but you put a book infront of her about History or some cacoodie math and the lights are definitely going off.

Westchester By Night: Hell Hath No Fury	February 12th, 2022	The mutants of Xavier's are captured by their vampire enemies, but not everything is at it seems. After the Final Death of Severina the Scourge, The Malefactor needs a new vampire bride and he has the perfect one in mind. The mutants break up the wedding, but Jubilation is presented with a Kobayashi Maru situation and agrees to marry The Malefactor at a new ceremony next week. Remy LeBeau is mistakenly seated on the groom's side and blends in a little too easily.

Jubilee finds out the finer points of teenage adoption after bringing the right/wrong balloons. Next stop: The boarder of Egypt and Sudan, Village in the Reeds... to find the last person who was killed by this curse embedded now in Phoebe Beacon's shoulder.

The Laughing Magician came through the final battle mostly fine for a change. But then Jubilee nearly killed him without even knowing she was doing so. Another day ending in Y, innit?
So Close And Yet So Far	October 12th, 2021	After Nori puts her foot in her mouth, Jubes storms off. Nori makes chase and reveals that she's not handling their new living situations as well as Jubilee thought.

The two discuss the Brotherhood and Jubilee's new status as a vampire, drawing connections to their shared experiences growing up mutant.

They discuss vampire sleeping arrangements and decide to take advantage of the fact that Noriko can't electrocute Jubilee on account of her being dead alread. So, naturally, they decide to go swimming.

Moving Out	September 21st, 2021	It's decided that Jubilation is too much of a danger to room with Noriko, so the pair begin the task of packing up her stuff so Jubes can move to the other building. Promises of banana bread are made.

Six Feet Under	September 14th, 2021	While taking Jeepers for an evening walk, Rogue stumbles upon Jubilee dragging a large garbage bag out to the woods to be buried. Rogue shares an important detail about Coney Island, starting Jubilee on a dark quest for answers.

Noriko shows up just in time to learn that Gabby and Logan have figured out what she has known for some time: Jubilee is a vampire. She gets her RA keys taken away and six weeks detention: an Xavier's School record!
Six Weeks Of Detention	September 5th, 2021	As instructed, Jubilee goes to see the headmistress about some of her recent troubles. The dreaded v-word isn't said, but the cat is out of the bag with respect to what she is. Jean Grey provides something Jubilation was not expecting in that office: comfort.

Jubilation Lee's Medical Exam	August 6th, 2021	Jubilee reports to Doctor McCoy for a much-needed medical examination. He checks her vitals, draws some blood, and tries to get an account of what has happened to her. Unfortunately, she really doesn't know much, except for something about a disappointing British guy who gave her a ride home.
Chevaline, The Other Red Meat	August 6th, 2021	Dyani, Noriko, and Rogue discover a dead horse that was drained of its blood by a mysterious hooded figure, who promptly escapes into the night. Moments later, Jubilation Lee joins the group, apparently not dead at all. Noriko was right! Dyani remains suspicious, however, as there's just something not right about Jubilee -- something difficult to place and even harder to communicate. Dyani wrangles the living horses while the others leave to get help.

Morning Playlist	February 14th, 2021	It's Jubilee's birthday and Valentine's Day! Noriko wakes up the birthday girl by playing the cello for her. Jubilee gives Noriko a tiny army of small furry creatures for Valentine's Day. Warning, studies have shown reading this may lead to cavities.
Stupid Games, Stupid Prizes	February 12th, 2021	Jubilee has been laying low after the incident at the anti-mutant protests. Paige finds Jubilee at the lake and offers some kind words...and cake! Jubes decides she's going to use her social powers to save the guy she put in the hospital with her mutant powers!
Helping Those You Hate	February 12th, 2021	Jubilee returns from her time spent at the lake to deliver Nori some birthday cake from Sam's party. Jubilee tells Nori about her idea to donate proceeds from the Sadies Hawkins dance to pay for Howard Scubb's hospital bills. Things get dicey.

Secret Garden	January 6th, 2021	Noriko kidnaps Jubilee to a rat, cockroach, etc etc hell hole in New Jersey where they 'might be shivved.' Apparently it is one of Nori's old stomping grounds and Noriko shares something very private and precious to her. The Good Witch Ororo somehow appears, contributes to the cool, and starts a paint war before leaving on a well placed gust of wind.
Furby Or Bust	January 5th, 2021	Conner Kent, Ruth Aldine, and Jubilation Lee meet in Chinatown, purely on accident, and go in search of the regional distributor of Furbies. They instead find a dusty little shop where the shopkeeper gets more Ruth than he bargained for!
Not Drunk, Not High	January 4th, 2021	Noriko and Jubilee awkwardly come to terms with their drunken kiss from New Years Eve and discover that it wasn't as meaningless as they thought.

Operation Glug Glug - Pub Crawl	January 1st, 2021	Part I. A bunch of students are given a mission of sorts on New Years Eve. After the kids have been put to bed and the teachers are playing (or snoozing), a bunch of them (+Simon) go on an epic raid of teacher booze stashes and go party in the woods. Noriko and Jubes re-arrive to only have to endure Simon's chronic foot-in-mouth intoxication syndrome about some fabled relationship between them that plays out in his head aloud, much to the mortification of the two roommates. The following teachers donated...stuff for this mission: Jean, Logan, Scott, and Emma. Thank you for all your donations! Rogue was, kiiinda spared.
