Vivian is a teenage synthezoid newly awakened in a world that isn't really ready for AIs. Made from artificial materials that replicate the Human body and with a mind that functions like a supercomputer.
Timeline
Timeline:
2019: First successful boot of Vivians personality matrix.
2019: Q1 : Vivian experiences the first six years of childhood in an accelerated simulation alongside her virtual parents and twin brother.
2019: Q2 : Viv and her twin start receiving their virtual education. Ten simulated years pass in three months.
2019 : Q3 : Vivian begins school in a virtual copy of Arlington, Virginia attending Alexander hamilton High School in an electronic copy of Fairfax.
2019: Q4 : Viv is attacked by a simulated supervillain and is left in a catatonic state.
2019: Q4 : After recovering from her injury Vivs lab partner is killed by her mother.
2020: Vivs mother commits suicide and her twin dies.

Personality
Calm:
Vivian isn't burdened by any of the biochemistry that can force organic beings to act rashly allowing her to keep her cool in even the most intense situations so long as her emotional core remains stable.
Inquisitive:
Vivian is filled with curiosity not only about the world around her but about herself and the capabilities of her body & mind. She is constantly driven to try new things, obtain new information and hopefully to make some sort of sense of the world.
Machine Logic:
Thanks to her synthezoid nature Vivian tends to think in a very logical way even with her emotional core engaged. She tends to plan ahead in great detail, using her mental abilities to simulate the potential outcomes of events in the hope of picking what she considers to be the most optimal outcomes.
Protective:
Having lost both her twin brother and her mother, not to mention the entire simulated world she grew up in, Vivian has become more than a little overprotective of the things she cares about. She will gladly put herself in physical danger rather than risk the emotional pain that losing a friend might cause.

Powers
Communications Array:
Vivian contains an advanced suite of communications gear within her body. She can communicate directly with satellites in orbit or interface with nearby devices providing they have some form of wireless communication enabled (or an internet connection she can route through). Viv herself can act as a local wifi spot or make calls as if she had a smartphone with military grade encryption.
Note - Although she is able to access a wide variety of systems with her communications systems she still needs to have legitimate access rights or break into the system to make use of it.
Density Increase:
Viv is able to compress the molecules within her body and, via a complex process involving dimensional shifting of her mass, can increase her personal mass & density. As her mass and density increase she becomes increasingly durable up a limit of eighty tons in weight at which point she is almost as hard as solid diamond. This density increase also boosts her strength up to a limit of forty tons (See rigidity flaw).
Density Reduction:
Viv is able to seperate the molecules within her body and, via a complex process involving dimensional shifting of her mass, can decrease her personal mass & density to the point where she can float in the air or even phase through solid matter. While at her minimum mass Vivian is able to fly at speeds of up to 120 miles an hour, although currently she can only manage to carry a few books or other small objects while at the density required for flight.
Holographic Matrix:
Vivian is able to generate increadibly realistic holograms complete with accompanying audio to use as disguises or as camoflage. She can sustain either a single large hologram able to hide a small building or vehicle (although she must remain in very close proximity) or up to twelve person sized holograms within a radius of sixty metres (around 200ft). Her holograms are realistic enough to fool most individuals without enhanced senses, although they do not stand up to physical contact, smell or unusual senses like thermal imaging or ultrasound. The audio she can generate using this system is realistic enough to fool most voice recognition systems providing she has a suitable voice sample to work with.
Improved Senses:
As an artificial being Viv can adjust her hearing to pick up extremely high or low frequencies and adjust the sensitivity to pick up very faint sounds. She can see in all bands of the light spectrum and has the option to zoom in up to an 80x magnification. Her senses of smell & taste work more like a chemical vapor analysis system and provide her with a break down of the chemical components rather than a more traditional Human sense of smell/taste.
Solar Jewel:
So long as Viv is exposed to some degree of light the solar jewel on her forehead will continue to absorb energy in a process similar to photosynthesis although more efficient. Vivian is able to release some of the stored energy from either her eyes or the jewel itself in the form of a beam of infrared & microwaves able to melt through steel. Although she can only maintain that level of power for around a minute before her energy reserves will deplete to a critical level.
Synthezoid Body:
Vivian was designed and built to be a complete replica of a Human only made from synthetic materials. This provides Viv with various benefits over a flesh and blood teenager. She doesn't need to eat or drink (although she can break down anything a Human could consume for energy in an emergency) and only needs a few hours a week in a sleep state to perform system maintenance. She's stronger and more durable than a typical teenager, having the physical capabilities of an adult in peak Human physical condition, and can tolerate a wider range of temperatures without protective clothing (anything between 25 to 45 degrees celcius). Her synthezoid nature also confers an immunity to diseases and a resilience to most toxins.
Note - Viv does still breath, albeit roughly half as often as a Human, it's just that the oxygen is used for different but equally important processes.
Synthezoid Mind:
Viv differs dramatically from the Human norm in terms of her mental abilities. She can process vast amounts of information quickly and accurately, instance portions of her processing power to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously, disable specific subsystems like her sense of pain or her emotions, copy or delete memories/information and although she has a similar range of senses to a typical person they do not register in the same way (eating candy for example would not register as sweet it would give a breakdown of chemical ingrediants).
Pheromone or mind control effects that would impact a biological lifeform have little to no effect on her, although she can be influenced by technopathic powers (although as a highly advanced self aware machine she is likely to be much harder to influence than a typical household computer).
Skills
Hello World:
Vivian is a gifted natural when it comes to computers and hacking. Her synthezoid nature gives her an innate knowledge of code and how machines operate which, coupled with her mental abilities, make it almost effortless for her to break into civilian computer systems. Military grade systems present more of a challenge but can usually be accessed providing she has a little time. Typically only systems set up by world class experts, other AIs or individuals with technopathic abilities can keep Viv from gaining access if she wishes to.
Languages:
Vivian came pre-installed with the five most common languages spoken in America (at the time of her initial boot up). These are English, Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), French & French Creole and Tagalog. Although it should be noted that her databases do not contain slang terms or idioms outside those which might reasonably be contained within a dictionary.
Schoolgirl.exe:
Vivian was pre-loaded with all the information she would need to live as an American sixteen year old. She was pre-loaded with a high school level education in science (biology, chemistry and physics), Mathematics (statistics, algebra, geometry and calculus) English (oral languages, humanities, literature and composition) and social Sciences (history, geography and economics).

Synthezoid Clothing:
Vivian has a variety of outfits made from a similar material to that used in the construction of her body, allowing her to phase her clothing or to make it more durable to prevent the clothing from receiving damage. Despite the unusual materials used these outfits have been designed to look and feel like normal fabrics.
Weaknesses
Electric Vulnerability:
As a synthetic lifeform Viv is fairly vulnerable to electricity and electrical attacks. A standard tazer will work as well, perhaps even more effectively, against Viv as it would any regular Human as her power surge protection systems kick in causing her to temporarily deactivate. In addition to this electricity inhibits the process Viv uses to phase, meaning she is unable to pass through anything with a significant electrical charge running through it (such as the wiring in a typical home). She can phase through smaller electrical devices like a smartphone but it rather uncomfortable for her.
Emotional Core:
Vivian was activated before her emotional subsystems had time to achieve full maturity and then subjected to the pain and loss of both her twin and her mother both dying. This has left her emotionally unstable and, in high stress situations, might even cause her to shut down or enter a catatonic state.
While Viv is capable of dis-engaging her emotional subsystems to prevent such crashes this comes at a different cost. While her emotional core is disengaged her ability to be creative is significantly reduced as well as her ability to recognize and respond to emotions in other beings. This in turn makes her more predictable and inhuman seeming.
Logger:
All of Vivians electronic interactions are catalogued and uploaded to a secure system which she is unable to access or influence. This allows her creator and anyone else with authorization to see everying she has done online. It also tracks her physical location at all times providing she is on Earth and not inside a faraday cage or other form of shielding.
Machine Logic:
Even with her emotional core engaged Vivian doesn't exactly think like a typical Human. This can lead to misunderstandings that cause cultural and social problems for her. Especially when faced with the social norms of smaller or more niche groups that are not covered by her initial interaction protocols.
Rigidity Limit:
As Viv increases her density her strength also increases to ensure she is able to move her body. However her body can only increase in strength to a forty ton limit and after this point any increases in density will slow Viv down. At sixty tons she moves at half her normal speed and at her limit of eighty tons she is totally immobile.
Synthetic Lifeform:
Vivian is a synthezoid and as such exists within something of a legal and moral grey area. She doesn't necessarily have the same guarantees of rights and legal protections that a human would have. Attitudes towards thinking machines are varied and range from acceptance to disbelief or even outright hostility. She may get treated as an object rather than a sentient being or even attacked for 'trying to replace people'. Others may even wish to try steal her and disassemble her for scientific study or to reprogram her for nefarious purposes.
